Peter & Dana fall more and more in love is this second part of their story. They have some challenges and have to get over those hurdles to continue.
This is the conclusion to Moto Boy and let me start off by saying Author Kay Manis KNOCKED THIS ONE OUT OF THE BALL PARK!!!!!
What a fantastic second part to Dana and Peter’s story!
Dana has overcome serious emotional and physical pain in her life. After Dana gets up the courage to tell Peter her secrets and confesses her love for him, Peter walks out on her. Dana is left feeling abandoned, alone and like she will never be truly loved.
This book had my emotions all over the place. Just when I thought I knew where this book was headed the author hit me with a plot twist that had my stomach in knots.
Kay Manis threw a few curve balls in this one that I did not see coming.
The chemistry and relationship between Dana and Peter was fan-flipping-tastic! Peter will definitely melt your panties right off of you in this one.
“Creating life starts in your heart, not in your uterus.”
“I said I was right where I needed to be, with you, and I meant it, Dolly.”
Dana was a typical smart a**; but you got to love her spirit. The secondary characters were hysterical at times and added a great addition to this story.
“My knees grew weak as my eyes closed, imagining Peter completely naked underneath me as I rode him like a prized bull.”
This book took me on one emotional roller coaster ride and I loved absolutely every minute of it. The epilogue was perfect and left me all warm and fuzzy inside. I loved how this book showed you that two opposites could not only get together and fall in love, but also help each other heal.
“Completely different in so many ways, but when brought together by fate, a unique fit, unlike any other two people on earth.”
“Our journey had been long and trying at times, but there was no denying the fact that we belonged together.”
Just when you think one woman can’t suffer anymore, the drama keeps on coming. Apart from the fact that she has met and fallen in love with a very hunky man who thinks the world of her, Dana must be one of the unluckiest women alive!
The final instalment of Dana and Peters story is fast moving and very emotional. She is unsure of her future with Peter because of the things she can’t give him. She suffers a medical set back, and a kidnapping but all the sorrow and heartbreak is forgotten when together they solidify their commitment in a very sweet way… that I won’t reveal here.
Their story is filled with drama and uncertainties, with disappointment and betrayal but also happiness and love. I beta read the first draft of this book and there were some scenes that didn’t work well for me, the timeline was off and that made it unbelievable, I’m glad that Kay took it back to the table and reworked it to make Dana and Peters story the best it could be, the guilt trip about the tears before Christmas was well worth the end result!
The X-Treme Boys series is proving to be one of the best romance series’ I have read. The storyline for each couple is strong, unlike the majority of romance books where the back story is weak and fails to give depth to the book. I can’t wait to get my hands on books 5 & 6 Snow Boy with Geneva’s story.
Go out and grab a copy of the whole series now, you won’t be disappointed!
One of the measures of a good romance book is, if you took away the sex part, would there still be story. Kay Manis is excellent with this measure. My Moto Boy isn't only a sexy read!
When I picked up My Moto Boy, I had certain expectations. Well, I expected it to have great steamy scenes, Manis maybe she has a great research and development team. I expected it to be excellently written, and she is a gifted story teller. All of those things were in this book.
The thing I didn't expect with this book, is the emotional depth of this book. This is not to say, I didn't think Manis was capable of this aspect, but this is to let you know what to expect when you read this book.
Dana is more than the B that she wants everyone to see. Peter isn't a dumb jock.
Dana really surprised me, she showed a full range of emotions in this book. She went through a couple of different situations that allowed us to see beneath that cold surface. She really is a vulnerable, sweet, caring woman. (I loved some of the things she called Jillian and her inner thoughts)
Peter is our true hero and he proves this to Dana in more ways than one. He shows this to us through knowledge, dedication and of course sexy brawn! I loved he had a tad bit of a softer side, that hid right under the surface. It would bubble up and give us a little peek, giving that awe moment.
Manis had to bring a grandma is the mix and make me cry. She was barely mentioned but that dang Manis did it anyway.
Pick up My Moto Boy! It's a 5 star read in my book!
Dana Di Grazio has overcome emotional and physical pain her whole life. When the man she’s finally given her heart to walks out of her life, she is left broken. She feels abandoned and alone and not worthy of love. Her secrets pushed the one man she is completely in love with and she doesn’t know how to handle it. She decides that love isn’t in the cards for her.
Professional motocross rider, Peter Fontenot is faced with a difficult choice. He doesn’t know whether to stay with the one woman who’s captured his heart or fulfill obligations from his past. When Dana’s life is threatened in unimaginable ways, Peter and Dana are forced to make decisions that they never though they would have to make.
Kay Manis brings magic into her stories. Dana and Peter have an amazing love yet it comes with so much ugliness. Kay portrays it so perfectly. She sucks in her readers and makes them fall in love with her characters. The story is hot, funny and will tear your heart out.
Kay’s writing is awesome. This book is well written and the characters speak for themselves. Kay keeps you hooked and wanting more from the very start. Dana and Peter’s story concludes with this book and she concludes it beautifully. The complete series is great and readers will be hooked from the first page.
My Moto Boy is the conclusion to Moto Boy and it's a must read before starting this one. We pick up where book one ended with Dana and Peter's story.
As Dana and Peter are trying to make things work, Dana finds herself in danger. This book shows even more how strong Dana is. She still has those insecurities but when faced with danger of her and her brother, she never failed to amaze me at her strength.
Peter has just left me swooning at the steps he will go through to save Dana. Not only is he smart and educated, he's hot and sexy too. What woman wouldn't want that? I love to see how he is there for her throughout the book and how they are able to overcome the obstacles that Dana feels may keep them from having a future together.
Dana and Peter are just the perfect couple and I loved seeing how much they worked together to be what each other needed. They just seem to compliment each other so well and I always love a happy ending!!
Kay has pulled me into all of her books and I'm looking forward to seeing what she comes up with next.
I really liked this final installment in Dana and Peter's story! This one picks up right where we left off. Peter ran to be by his moms side right after Dana told him about her history. I actually thought Dana overreacted a little bit. But that may have been because I had his POV and knew that he cared about her regardless.
Anyways- there was actually a lot that went on throughout this story. In a way it almost made it seem like two different books within one. But I rated higher because the last half of this book was just really good. I don't want to say much but I loved meeting Lucas, Levi and Lilly. I really think they stole the show. In fact, I think the addition of them and the scenes they were in is what caused me to bump it up and extra star.
Like I said before there is a lot going on in this book but I didn't feel like there was too much added drama this go around and I really enjoyed Peter and Dana. I think these two balance each other out really well.
***Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!***
This is the conclusion of Dana and Peter story and wow is it filled with drama and questions that finally get answered. Peter and Dana are both dealing with things outside of their control. Dana is once again going through a major life crisis and Peter is dealing with the drama his ex has created.
Dana and Peter’s world is filled with drama and adventure but I have to say the ending of this story made me feel so many many emotions. It left me feeling a real connection to the characters and their family environment. Dana and Peter story was an awesome story and left me wanting more. I can't wait to read book by Ms.Mani, this is definitely a series that have moved up on my favorite reads.
I have fallen in love with the X-treme Boys series. But out of the four books so far, Dana and Peter’s stories in Moto Boy and now My Moto Boy have captured my heart. In Moto Boy, Dana lays all her feelings out for Peter. She tells him of her past, and the fact that cancer claimed her ability to have kids, but at the end of the first book, Manis, leaves Dana wondering if she just lost the one man that she has let into her heart since everything had been taken away from her. Now in My Moto Boy, Peter has to prove to Dana that she is the one for him and that she has his heart, but when his past catches up to him and puts Dana in danger can he get her back or will he lose her forever?
In the conclusion of Dana and Peter's story I was on an emotional roller coaster. So much has happened to them. I laughed and I cried. Poor Dana has a scare and she doesn't want anyone to know. She comes through that to be kidnapped with her brother. She fight so hard to save them. peter is ther for her to help her recover. They get some amazing news and you see Dana in a different light. Peter will move heaven and earth to make her happy. he shows us this so many times. Will Dana get her Happy Ever After??
Dana and Peter is one of my favorite couples of the year. Their heart and support shows no bounds. With ALL the obstacles stacked in their way they still opened their hearts not only to each other but to some well deserving souls, family. Yep as patching as it is neither of them will be lonely anymore.
I cried and cheered but cried more. Kay this is the best in the series to date. Dana is beyond the spitfire she is the mah-mah that pays hefty to the swear jar.
Readers cannot go wrong with the brilliantly woven stories of Kay Manis. Dana and Peter are perfect. Peter is panty-melting and Dana is loud and foul-mouthed. I just love the chemistry that continues from Moto Boy. The plot is superb. If you enjoy contemporary romance at all, this is a story you need to read. It's just fabulous. ***STANDING OVATION***
I absolutely LOVED Peter and Dana's love story!! It such a beautiful story that teaches about faith, hope, and total and utter devotion and love! Both Peter and Dana h ave had horrible pasts and have to learn to trust all over again---and the results of that trust is PRICELESS!!!! This is definitely a must read!!
I just loved skater boy and I wasn't sure what to expect with motto boy, but I've loved every page. I've loved reading Dana and Peters story. The highs and lows of their life. The struggles they've both faced in the past. I was so happy that there was a happy ending. I can't wait for book 5 to be released
This series just gets better and better Dana finally gets her hole family and even after the attack she shows he power of getting better and stronger then believed possible.
I love the whole series from Skater Boy with Rory and Hindley to Moto Boy with Peter and Dana and seriously now cant wait for Snow Boy with Geneva. Hurry please!!!!!
