Be inspired by Esther, an incredible woman of God.Esther was willing to risk her life for the welfare of her people and the furthering of God’s plan. Strategically positioned by God in a place of influence, Esther is a powerful biblical example of how God can use anyone. She answered God’s call and went through a season of preparation physically and spiritually to get ready. Just like in biblical times, God is positioning women today and giving them divine opportunities to influence the culture for His glory. The Esther Anointing gives you the keys to Esther’s success, including the qualities that make women great, the power of influence, and the key to finding God’s favor for your assignment. It doesn’t matter where you came from or what skills and talents you have; if you let Him, God can use your life for His glory!
This was a God-read for me! Something that truly resonated with where God has me in this season as well as who He has created me to be in this lifetime. I'm so happy I read it and can't wait to get my hands on Michelle McClain-Walters' next book, The Deborah Anointing! :)
Second Read(2023)-4 ½ stars. I felt drawn to reread this book. I think I will read it again when I enter another chapter in life. This book makes me feel powerful. I love the prayers after each chapter. I liked how this book touches and can relate to any woman in any phase of her life. I learned a lot and will revisit the prayers again. Read if you want to become a woman of prayer, courage, and influence.
First read(2017)- 3STARS-I liked this book because it was biblical. But the thing that I liked the most is that this book refers to Esther during biblical times and Esther in 2017. Therefore, I was able to relate, & make spiritual connections. Also, the prayers in this book were inspiring and powerful.
This is my second time reading this book and once again, I'm blown away. Michelle McClain-Walters has such a way of breaking down the Bible and making it applicable to your life.
Her study of Esther was powerful. Of all the 10 chapters I'm still hooked on chapter 3. I feel like this was the perfect read for me as I was preparing for my ordination.
Definitely recommend this book to women who have studied Esther and have yet to study it. It will change your perspective on many things.
I am sorry to say anything negative about a book supporting God and His calling on our lives.
However, for much of the book, I felt that somehow the author got off the correct theology train. We are not all meant to be Esthers. Some of us are the quiet Jewess in the streets praying that Esther will be able to make a difference and stop the coming genocide. Some of us are meant to be teachers or hairstylists.
We are not all meant to be bold. We definitely don't get to decree what will happen. Only in God's will and in His time.
I honestly can't recommend this book. I did find some of the research fascinating, but this we are all powerful women message is misleading and perhaps even damaging. Bless the authors' efforts for Christ, but...
When I first saw the title The Esther Anointing, I thought it would be another book about What Queen Esther, a story most Christian have read many times. So my first thought was " I know the story, why do I need to read it again?" Well I tried to bypass it, but the Holy spirit kept "nagging" me, so I downloaded it. The revelations about the Esther Anointing has not only confirmed God's assignment on my life, it also encouraged me on the journey. Women of God, you need this book!!! The prayers along is worth it, but there is so much more. If you feel as if God is calling you up higher, here is a map.
4/5. A powerful study of Esther. God used Esther in a mighty way, and I loved Michelle’s teaching and prayers throughout. Keeping my copy within reach to re-visit certain chapters ❤️
Absolutely phenomenal read! I am so glad I finally purchased and read this book. I've heard about this book for a while now and took the plunge to buy it (along with the other two books). This book is all about Esther and how we can become women like her -- a woman of prayer, courage and influence. The strength and courage that Esther had and all that she endured in her process to become a queen of a foreign nation was so profound.
This was definitely one for the arsenal. This book opened my eyes to so much about myself and my identity in Christ. This book was definitely packed with truths from the Bible, though I did have to look sideways at a few of Michelle McClain-Walters thoughts concerning Esther, it was still beyond amazing.
This book dives deep into the Word and dissects it. The scriptures, the breakdowns, the prayers and the declarations really helped me and pushed me to pursue some things that have been placed on my heart. I highly recommend this! I can't wait to read The Deborah Anointing: Embracing the Call to be a Woman of Wisdom and Discernment and The Anna Anointing: Become a Woman of Boldness, Power and Strength soon.
Side Note: I did read this in conjunction with studying the book of Esther. Both have 10 chapters each so this could be done in a 2 week span of studying the book of Esther and reading The Esther Anointing.
Another amazing book I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Wow. THE ESTHER ANOINTING by Michelle McClain-Walters is a call to arms--a reminder that the story of Esther is for all of us--"who knows whether you have come to [this place] for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14). Wow.
I am not familiar with the Apostolic faith--denomination?, but I can say with full assurance that Michelle McClain-Walters is a woman walking in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I want to share this book with every single person around me. I would love to be able to purchase copies for ALL my friends, family, and loved ones, so don't be surprised if you receive a copy from me!!
I will certainly be reading THE ESTHER ANOINTING again--soon--and again, and again, and again--until I have it practically memorized. Thank you, Michelle McClain-Walters, for your obedience in writing this empowering call-to-arms.
This book was definitely amazing! It is a very on time seasonal book right now as well! I encourage all Christian women to read this! You won't be disappointed!

This book gave really good insight into the themes in the book of Esther as well as how God wants to use women specifically to serve Him. Loved this book and will definitely be reading it again in the future!

I didn’t think this would be as amazing as it is. I just picked it up because it’s a sweet little book that I could read quickly. But before I got to Chapter 1, I instantly felt like this book wasn’t just another sweet little message. I LOVED this book. It was challenging and empowering, and full of practical advice. It is an amazing book that every woman should read!
The author applies the story of Esther in a practical and prophetic way that paints the picture of God’s heart for 21st century women. She speaks as if she were directly writing to you. I appreciate the prayers and the declarations at the end of each chapter.
If you are looking for a book that will EMPOWER you, this is the one. I highly recommend it!
We should all have you know that Wonderful Place in God. Michelle McLean – Walters writes of that place . She writes of how women should know the love of God , understand his purpose in creating us and live in that wonderful place. The place where we are not less than or a substitute. God purposely made and ordained women for such a time as this. She writes of Esther's time of preparation and sacrifice and difficulties she faced. Through her writing I was able to see God's revealed love expressed in preparation and Esther's responses to various challenges.
If you've been feeling a discomfort in your life, a feeling that you are being called to do more then read this book. It really helped me to focus my thoughts and prayers in asking what God is pressing me to do with my life. It helped me to realize that the ideas and thoughts that had been coming to me were not some isolated occurrence or figment of my imagination but that others were feeling and receiving similar ideas and promptings from the Lord. Take the chance on this one, it's worth it.
Esther is my favorite Bible hero. In a time when women were to be seen and not heard, she saved a nation of people. She wasn't loud or boisterous. She was a Queen that reached out to her Holy Father, and changed the course of history. Her story should teach all women, that girls can be world changers too, and it can be done with the crown from our Holy Father upon our head.
I'm currently reading Chapter "The Power of Your Perfume" that speaks about refining our characters so that we can be "pliable in the hands of the Lord to follow His lead to fulfill our purposes". I honestly felt that God led me to read this book because He is preparing me for greatness. I urge other women who are seeking The Lord for an anointing in their lives to read this book, you won't regret it!.
For the woman, who recognizes her specific call of God
This book was really good for the women who know what God has called her to do. If you are not sure of your calling here on earth there may be a sense of struggle understanding the writers perspective. But this book is very encouraging to those who have had issues with identity in Christ trying to walk according to the purpose of God! Great read and easy to follow!
Very encouraging for a woman who wants to do more for the kingdom of God. I like this one better than the Deborah anointing but I feel that others opinions of these books will vary depending on what their calling and personality is which makes since seeing that each book is inspired by a specific woman of the Bible and depending on who you relate to more, you may find you like that book the most.
I would give this a 4.5 or able! I am studying Esther in Bible study fellowship and this book has enriched my study and guided my prayers. Lots of uplifting and Spirit lead writing. Beautiful prayers and has given me much to consider and ponder as I am approaching retirement and asking the Lord for using this time for His glory and the Kingdoms advancement! For what - for such a time as this is truly where I am wondering!
This book displays the power that we have when we believe what God is saying, not what are circumstances or surroundings are saying. When we reach for God, the greatness that is within us has not choice but to pour out. I love this book! I will be reading more from the author. The Anna and Deborah Anointing books are next up!
I really REALLY disliked this book. It felt fluffy, full of prosperity gospel theology and overall wasn’t engaging. Instead of learning more about Esther and the way God used her, I left my time reading feeling as thought the author pulled verses out of context to prove her own, personal opinions. If you’re wanting something to challenge and encourage— this ISNT it.
I enjoyed this book, it opened my eyes to what I feel is a very interesting way God uses women. It was very helpful to me. With that being said, I do feel at times the author was really forcing things, like that women are oppressed by men blah blah. I don’t subscribe to that idea.
But if you feel God is calling you to someyhing big, give this a read.
Excellent book for women who are truly seeking an anointed life. I used this more as a study guide and meditated on the wealth of information. If you want change this is the book!
