An enjoyable and engaging series. I absolutely love Jacob. As for the heroine, Jennifer, there's something about her that just bothers me. For someone so athletic and intelligent, I find her to be so wishy-washy. I think the story of her marriage to Franklin is a little ridiculous; almost childish. I'm not sure how many novels are in the entire series. As for now I'm waiting for book 4. There are a number of grammar and spelling errors in books 1, 2, and 3.

In Turning Point the third book in the Paradise Falls series, Jennifer and Jacob are arrested at Krystal's funeral by a corrupt cop that was related to Jennifer's late husband. They are taken to a barn where Jacob is put in a position where he can't seem to help them, so Jennifer takes matters in hand and becomes the aggressor for the first time. She is changing and the quiet high school English teacher becomes a full partner with Adam to work to right the wrongs in Paradise Falls.

The action continues with a run-in with the local motorcycle gang, both teachers being suspended from their jobs and as they work together to gather evidence to bring the powerful politicians and police force to justice. With the high level of action, the love interest developing between Jacob and Jennifer, I can't wait to read book four, Spy Games.

Jacob and Jennifer are arrested, but do you think the corrupt cop will be taking them back to the station. No, he has plans for them. His plan is that they will not make it out alive.
As Jennifer and Jacob are discovering more and more about the corruption of the town, the discover that there is a prostitution ring with underage girls in Port Carol. They know they must do something to help these poor girls out.
Jennifer is sick of being a victim. She is falling hard for Jacob. Can she overcome her fear that is stemmed from the past?

I quit

This series was dragging too much. I thought I was being smart by waiting until all of the books came out, but it turns out that was stupid. It comes close to 1000 pages when adding the books together. So therefore it drags on, and on. This book got ridiculous. There was a torture scene, so by then i'd had enough. Dnf at 27%. Might come back and finish one day, but not any time soon.

Great

I have really enjoyed the whole collection of these books. But really disappointed I had to buy after the first one. The books are short enough to have been combined into one or two books. Loved reading them though. Look forward to more
