Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.
That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.
In the fourth installment of the 'Sisterhood of the traveling high heels' our hero and heroine meet with an interesting new development in their ongoing love story; a new baby. He swears to her the baby isn't his. Although she believes him, she takes the baby in to take care of. After all, the baby is innocent of all the manipulations performed by the adults in its life. It's always good to revisit the lives of previous romantic couples and see how their lives are going. Especially if their love holds true. Cute novella with wonderful characters.
A baby shows up with Alec's name on the birth certificate, and he doesn't know if it's his or not. Though Jaya believes in him, he can't say the same for himself. There are missing moments in his memory from when they were apart.
Jaya immediately falls for the baby girl left in their care. But she struggles with Alec's reaction to the baby. With their friends by their side, they figure out what this means for their relationship and the future of their family.
This was a cute addendum to the In Stilettos series. I liked getting a bit of all the girl an the men in their lives. If you've read the series, this is a cute extra piece to the story.
Strollers and Stilettos by Nana Malone is a 2014 publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Newlyweds Jaya and Alec find themselves bogged down with work and life and are having a hard time fitting in the slow sexy time they crave. Quickies in closets is par for the course until the most bizarre thing happens. A baby is dumped off and Alec thinks he might the father. This situation naturally puts pressure on the couple. The baby's mother has to be found, but in the meantime Jaya has taken temporary custody and is falling in love the baby and Alec is having a hard time wrapping his brain around this sudden turn of events. His he ready to be a father? Who is the child's mother?
Super saucy and sassy, this short story/novella somehow balances the strain of taking care of a child with hot steamy romance and sex. Of course a certain pair of stilettos is always sure to create the desired effect. I thought there was a lot going on for such a short book and it wrapped up nice and neat. I loved the secondary characters who were Jaya's friends and I really loved this couple because of the way they worked together even when things were stressful. A nice edition to the series. Overall this one is a 3.5 rounded to 4
This is not my first book by this author. This is the fourth book in the Stilettos series and I am reading this story first. I do have the other 3 books but I have not read them as yet. After reading this story I am intrigued to read the other books. I was given ARC of this book for a honest review.
Considering I did not read the previous 3 books I was still able to follow the various relationships in the story. Jaya and Alec clearly have chemistry and love and care for each other.
What I enjoyed about the story was that Jaya had faith in her man that whatever the explanation she knows her man did not betray her there has to be an explanation for this baby on their door step that looks exactly like her husband!!
Alec is having a difficult time accepting that he could be the father of this child because of what happened to him in his own childhood and because he loves his wife so much, he would not do such a thing to her.
Both Alec and Jaya's friends try to support them as best they can in this uncertain situation and have their friends backs as they try to unravel the mystery.
Jaya: "Of course she's not yours..."
Alec: "Is that what you think? Baby, I could care less what anyone has to say so long as you believe me".
This was a fun enjoyable read and I loved the interaction between the couple. Well worth the read.
The gang is back! As long as there's understanding between a couple, it all works out in the end. Don't forget the stilettos :D.... Love Jaya and Alec.... And my guy Caleb!
Finally married, but the pace of life has not slowed down for either Alec or the new Mrs. Westhorpe (Jaya). They find time where they can and things are more quick than slow and sensual. Bucket list are out the window and a new baby left at the hotel does not improve their time together.
Narration was no help or hindrance to the enjoyment of the story. It did allow for a quick uptake of the story.
I freaking love this series and this next story did not disappoint.
My favorite couple Jaya and Alec are back, stronger than ever. Alec has stepped into his role of leading Westhorpe Corporation and is working long and crazy hours. Jaya's business has taken off and plus she is still working for the Westhorpe Corporation as well, which leaves little time for the married couple. They have resorted to quickies which is the opening scene in this story. They both know something has to give because they can't keep going like this or living their lives this way.
Alec is miserable and he needs to have more time with his wife but ever since assuming the position at Westhorpe, he is busy non stop and he devises a plan to spend more time with her. Everything seem to be coming together until he is notified of a baby being left in front of his hotel and the little girl looks exactly like him. He knows this can't be his daughter and just because she looks like him doesn't mean a thing or does it? When Alec and Jaya broke up, he was miserable and on a drinking binge, his memory of them being a part is foggy at best. Is it possible he slept with another woman and impregnated her? And if so why can't he remember.
Jaya knows her man didn't get another woman pregnant. Yes they broke up and were apart and living in separate states but she knows Alec probably better than he knows himself. So if he did sleep with another woman while they were apart he would have used protection. She is adamant about him not fathering a child and she stands by him. But Jaya wants to keep the baby and Alec doesn't, he wants CPS to come in and find the baby a temporary home. Jaya is devastated and furious with Alec once little Alexa is placed with a family, Alec is stressed and gets her back. But what is he going to do with a baby? He believes he will never be a good father because his own father was a bastard but Jaya wants Alexa and he will do anything for her.
Jaya wants children, she wants a family with Alec. She sees his struggle with him not believing he would be a good father but Jaya believes in him and will show him that he will be an amazing father. But first they must find out who Alexa's mother is? And why would she just up and leave her child and demand money? Luckily for them Alec's best friend Caleb is on the case and he will get to the bottom of it. Alec and Jaya will maneuver around the maze of parenthood and with Jaya's two best friends helping out Ricca and Micha as designated aunties this is a crazy and wild story that you will love.
When I chose this book, I did not read the synopsis and had no idea what to expect. What a pleasant surprise. The first sentence not only left me panting but it sucked me into the story completely. The story starts with an erotic encounter between husband and wife, Alec and Jaya, giving the reader an instant realization as to why they are together, no trying to figure anything out, this couple’s chemistry is smoking hot. Then the mystery begins, a small package is left for Alec, a cute, adorable yet scary package, baby Alexa.
Alec cannot remember whom, what or how but the love and trust Jaya has in him makes him love her that much more as he tries to unravel the mystery of the child’s parentage. While Jaya steps up to the plate to do what needs to be done (while tamping her desires for a child of her own), fear courses through Alec’s veins. Why would someone play a cruel trick on him? Can he take responsibility of this child? Is he like his father? Then he falls in love, again.
Find out if Alec and Jaya can weather the storm, accept baby Alexa and reveal their fears. There is something very special about romance with erotic sex and romance with a baby.
I later found out that this book is the fourth in the “The In Stilettos Series” but I did not feel left out. The writer was able to shed some light on past events, but not enough to spoil it for those who have not read the previous books. If you have been following this series then you are in for a treat.
This book was great! I love this series! Jaya and Alec are still newlyweds in their eyes. The problem is they both work hectic hours and only find time small talk and quickies in the closet. They both know they need to stop working the crazy hours and focus on each other. What they didn’t expect was to have someone drop a baby off stating that Alec was the baby’s dad. Jaya believes in her heart that he is not the father but her doubts creep up after people keep telling how much the baby looks like Alec. They know that they should call child protective services but Jaya is not having the baby go into foster care. While Alec looks for the baby’s mother, she takes care of the baby. This book had humor, romance, and a great story. It kept me guessing until the end! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
Strollers & Stilettos, Finally my girls are back and they're back in full force! I absolutely adore all three couples. The Chemistry is Amazing. Nana Malone does her thing again focusing on Alec and Jai. I loved how Jaya was ready to step up for Alexa no matter if she was Alec's kid or not. When they initially decided to remove Alexa from Foster Care and ti bring her home with them, I was trying to imagine ways for them to keep if it was proven that Alec wasn't her father. It amazes me that my thoughts and ideas turned out to be right along the same wavelength of the talented Nana Malone which is probably another reason why I enjoyed the story as well. I can't wait for the next story that will evolve from this Sexy and Intriguing Series about those damn Magical and Sexual Inducing Three Thousand Dollar Christian Louboutin Stilettos, lol... Great job as usual Nana
I think sometimes the power of shoes goes a LONG way. From the time Jaya requested the shoes to seduce her husband Alec into an all night love fest instead of "quickies" their life changed. Some may argue if it was for the better or the worse but I would be inclined to say better.
From an unexpected surprise in the conference room to B&E and candid photos, Alec had hid work cut out for him. What he didn't count on was a supportive wife and hard working best friend to bring light to his dreary mood. Alexa was the plus that stole everyone's heart and unveiled another secret.
This was a nice fast read that had you guessing but when everything start coming together it was even better. I.may have to go back from the beginning because I enjoyed the characters that much.
Although I have not read any of the other books in this series. this book was easy to read. I will be sure to go back and read the one's leading up to this book. Jaya and Alec have just been married and are ready to start life together when they get an unexpected visitor. Alec thinking he could possibly be the baby's father searches to find the truth. The baby has got to have a mother out there. in the mean time they have taken temporary custody of the baby and Jaya has a hard time letting her go. Although they are still in the newness of their marriage and there love making is getting to be sparse they still only have eyes for one another. Will the baby's mother be found? Will the baby put a damper on there married life. be sure to pick up this sweet romance today!
Kobo+ Contemporary Romance Series Challenge 2024. Novella. 182 p. Tropes: RomCom, Extended Family and Friends, Erotica, Romance/Mystery. MC's h & H Jaya and Alec Westhorpe. Baby. Alexa. Max and Alec have a sister Melanie ( looney tunes) wants money revenge uses her own baby as part of the plot. Jai is pregnant. What I enjoyed the most is the sexy scenes between Jaya and Alec, the camaraderie between the three best friends and their spouses, plus the master matchmaker Adele Westhorpe. There is always humour and drama drama drama. The only part that isn’t great is the villain or mystery section. I have this 3.5 stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ********************************************************************************

Hot. That’s the one word I’d use to describe this book. I’ll add amazing since I can. I’ve read all of the books in the Stiletto Series and loved them all. It was good to reconnect with the gorgeous stiletto women and their men.
The baby added cuteness to the sexy story. I’m not ready to let the stilettos series go so I’m encouraging Ms. Malone to please write some more.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Jaya and Alec Westhorpe are newly weds but really haven't had their honeymoon. They are both madly in love with each other but find they hardly see each other. Their relationship has definitely had it's up and downs including super hot sex. Alec is a reformed playboy and has settled down with Jaya. Both of them are extremely busy leaving no time to be alone or intimate. They do find ways and if it means having a quickie in the utilities closet so be it. One night everything changes. A baby is left at their doorstep with a note indicating the baby is Alec's. It will test their relationship to the limit. Will Jaya and Alec overcome this?
This book has some sexy scenes in it! The heat between Alec and Jaya is hot and I do feel the adoration between the two of them. I wasn't sure how the baby factor would play into an erotic story but in the end it I liked it. It's a good read and I give it 4 stars.
She didn't expect a baby on their doorstep and a family-phobic husband.... A long-hidden secret threatens to jeopardize what he holds most dear... What happens when real life gets in the way of Happily Ever After?

Strollers& Stilettos by Nana Malone Narrated by Traci Odom
This is book four in the Stilettos series.
It was a fun quick listen. Once again Nana Malone brought back Jaya, Alec, Ricca, Beckett and my favs Micha and Caleb........ It made for good reads and the smart mouthed teasing was in full effect, along with who is and who isn’t ready for gurgles and toothless grins and of course diapers. There’s even a plot twist in place.
Listened in one sitting, and Traci Odom was naturally on point in her narration of all the characters.
Another adventure for the traveling stilettos. I loved Nana s ability to intertwine all the main characters will introducing new ones we weave another interesting story. Loved how this story developed then culminated ti unexpected results. Great story, great intrigue. The things beautiful pair of stilettos can do. I am so happy the next books have already been written so I do not have to wait to read them. I recommend all Nana fans reD this book and complete this series as I intend on doing.

Jaya and Alec are just settling into their jobs after their honeymoon when suddenly they Alec is left a baby. Who is she? This fun fast sexy read is full of the cutest baby Alexa who works her way into their hearts and home as they solve who exactly she is and what her Mom is up to.
I couldn't read this fast enough! I still need more of them. I'm so glad we got more Alec and Jaya!!! I so needed more of them! They're one of my favorite couples. The baby that might or might not be Alec's... How will Jaya handle it? And Alec, he can't even hold the baby, what does that say about their future?? Must Read!!!
I wish this book could have been longer. It was a fun read and this marriage was tested. I’m glad it worked out but we still do t k ow the blonde in the photos ‘ intention given how that turned out, or the baby’s father. I’ll check again but that wasn’t revealed. However I still enjoyed the story
In love with the characters Jaya and Alec! Really love their love story and relationship. I wish this particular book would have been longer I recommend anyone who likes to read to read her books
Wow, Wow, and Wow. From the first page to the last, this book was electrifying. The story was a mystery. The charachters maturing was a change. But, those stilettos were spot on. Great read. I only wish it went on longer.
I really like that it has continuity of the other novels. It was pretty intense. I hope that their are not going to have more problems with family issues
This is a nice rom-com that is a bit steamy and it has some suspense as well. I liked it and I think you will like it as well. There is a nice HEA too.
