I actually first read this fanfiction in 2023 or 2024 and came back to it this year (2026). I have to say as of right now this is probably one of my top 3 Bella x Jacob fanfics. If you are someone who really likes angst, yearning, drawn out/emotionally rewarding fluff AND is okay with sexual themes and topics this is for you.
My favourite part about the writing is how rewarding the wait feels when characters have positive interactions and the fanfiction itself feels like it’s written for an older audience; especially the more complex interaction between characters and relationships (with none of the usual exhausting petty lack of communication tropes).
I also would say this fanfiction if written better than most published books and strongly recommend you read!

HOLY ANGST! Loved the plot and twists and turns I was brought on this one. I laughed and cried right along with Bella and Jacob.
The writing is BEAUTIFUL. I absolutely love the descriptions of people and the depth of feeling these characters had. I loved it more than the original saga for sure! Taoist Elf never fails to write amazing works. It's basically like reading art. <3
