I received a ARC copy of this book for my honest review..
Normally when you read a book about BDSM the women are usually set out to be the submissive. Not the case here in Lost and Found.
Ella was heart broken years ago when her first love moved to the states, she replaced that with Eric who broke her to where she never thought she could repair herself.
Being a Dom gives Ella control. Will she be able to hand over that control in the end to find her true love? You will have to read to find out.
What a great story by a wonderful new author.. Keep your eyes out on her.. :)

TO SUM IT UP BRIEFLY
This entire story only just skirts the lines of BDSM. If it wasn't for the one brief Ff scene, and the fact Ella co-owned a club, I would call this an erotic romance with a side of 'kink'. No bondage, not what I would call discipline and no S&M.
A domme who constantly worries people will think she is 'sick' because of what she does. She jumps at any unexpected touch and I lost count of how many times she burst into tears.
**Domme does not = sick.
IMO this story is one of second chance at love, with a heroine who lived through a heinous event. She eventually chooses to be a survivor rather than a victim and enjoys indulging in some kinky sex. That is, if a woman instructing a man how to pleasure her is your idea of kink :)

Lost and Found is a twist on the ordinary BDSM. Ella, the heroine is a Dominatrix in a club. She meets the boy she loved and never forgot after a ten year separation and is afraid to tell him what she does for a living and for sport.
Jack is happy to have found Ella after being away so long, but things aren't what they seem.

I received an ARC copy of this book for my honest review…
First I should say this book is HOT, HOT, and HOT! Megan, You my love are a Filthy, Filthy Girl… But I love it! If you are into hot scenes this book is for you. However if you are not please keep going.
Normally I don’t read a lot of BDSM because how women usually get knocked around and I have never been able to handle it. But Megan wrote about the Woman being the Domme. I have never read a book where the woman is the Domme. Megan pulls you in and you don’t want to put the book down. Well at least I didn’t want to put the book down.
I want to thank Megan for trusting be me enough to Review for her before her release. This book is an awesome read and everyone should get their copy of it.

I was given an ARC for an honest review.
I am always looking for new authors to read and fall in love with their books. I just found one! When I read a book, I look for a good story; a story that captures my attention and makes me want to finish. One that I can immerse myself into the story and actually feel what they are feeling. One that gives such detail descriptions of characters, that you can picture them in your mind. I found all of this and more in Lost and Found. So much that I have already asked if there is a second book. I'll let Megan Fields answer that one.
Ella is a woman with a past; a past full of heartbreak and horror. She has found some happiness with the help of her friend Izzy and the immersion into the BDSM world as a Domme. Everything seems to be ok until the day she runs into Jack....her first love. Ella is thrilled to see him, but also afraid that he'll find out about her past and who she is now. Things are also complicated by Jack's twin brother Alex and his discovery of Ella's secrets. I won't give any spoilers, but I will say it's a great book, with great characters and lots of hot sex! So please check it out.

When Ella and Jack run into each other, it's been 10 years Jack and his family moved to NYC. Now back in London, Jack and his brother Alex are busy artists making a good living. It's not too long before Alex finds out Ella is a Domme, but only because he, also, is a Dom. Keeping her secret, as it's hers to tell, it's no wonder Jack thinks the only reason Ella doesn't want to get back together is because of his brother. Oh how wrong he is!
When he does find out why Ella hid her work from him, the only thing that gets him upset is that he thought she couldn't trust him. Ella comes clean about her past, and also about how she felt when he moved away. They work through their relationship and Jack does what it takes to make Ella happy - which means becoming her sub. I truly appreciate having a female in charge. Almost every book out there is only alpha male this and "male Dom" that. It's truly annoying how one sided books seem to be getting, so it really made me happy to read about a male who was a sub and not some alpha asshole. How refreshing!
Side note: I found it confusing how most characters drank in the club. Most BDSM clubs in the northeast part of the US do not allow alcohol to be served- they want everyone to be sober enough to engage in the Safe, Sane, Consensual motto. I don't know if the characters having drinks was added as something for them to do just for effect. I do know the author is from the UK, so laws and things might be different there. Therefore, I can't really comment that's it's "right or wrong" but it did make me curious.
I love that Jack admits to being surprised that a woman in charge can be hot - yes guys, we can take charge and it's not so bad...how about that?!
Kudos to the author for having both characters discuss that they're both clean. It's important to communicate with someone you sleep with and care about.
Major additional points given for for mentioning aftercare. In all these BDSM books I've seen aftercare is rarely mentioned. It's just as important and the consent. I also like that Ella walked Jack through what the lifestyle is like. She wasn't pushy, abusive, or judgmental, and she let him learn at his own pace. That's the way it should be.
What kept me from giving this a solid 5 were two things:
1. One night Ella's sister comes home very drunk and instead of worrying about what is, she worries about what could have happened to her. Of course it's a viable concern, but a lecture on alcohol shouldn't be due to "protection". While I understand everyone should be responsible for themselves, I do not condone victim blaming. Intoxication is NOT an invitation!
2. Part of this concern stems from what happened to Ella from an abusive ex - although Ella was not drunk at the time of the occurrence. This horrific, 3 day tragedy led to her becoming a Dominatrix. Why does a woman have to suffer some sort of abuse to become a Domme? That's not the only reason some of us want to be in control. I was a Domme on multiple occasions, and nothing bad ever happened to me. Submission is not gender specific- most of the subs with whom I've worked were actually men. Some of us are naturally Dominant and/or alpha females and we CAN just be naturally strong and assertive. What almost no one points out is that it's also true that some men become Doms for similar reasons: they didn't get the pretty girls in high school, they were constantly seeking daddy's approval growing up, blah blah blah...
Charlotte (Lottie), Ella's sister does a lot of disappearing and mysterious acts in this book, so she's probably the "new client" Ella's partner Isobel keeps referring to. And oh how I love Izzy! She's smart, sassy, and a full on Domme! I can't wait to read about her!

Ella’s life in those ten years has been far from pleasant. After an abusive relationship she turned to BDSM to gain some control over her life again. Now Jack is back in her life, will her secret push him away or will Jack be able to accept the new Ella? Will having Jack back in Ella’s life help her to overcome her painful past?
Ella needed to take back control and BDSM offered her that escape. Now Jack is back in her life she craves something more but can she tell him her secret without losing him again?
I loved this book, it’s different and so much more! I want to give Ella a huge hug, in those ten years apart she had been dealt some truly rough cards. Jack was so sweet; although he hadn’t got in touch with Ella in those ten years it was obvious that he had regretted that decision. All the characters in this story are each loveable in their own way, I really loved Jack’s Brother; he was not only a great brother but also a really good friend to Ella. I am looking forward to reading his story. There are steamy scenes in this book, even I found myself purring when Jack says ‘Yes Mistress’ his reactions are hot!
If you love a hot romance story with a leading female and a male sub you will love this book!

5 STARS for Ella!! I was gifted this book for an honest review. LOVE that the lead character is a female Dom! Wonderful storyline with great character development. I have an idea who will be telling us their story in the next book; I can't wait to see how that plays out!! Bravo to you, Megan Fields, on well written story!

Hot Hot Hot!
Debut and ARC, are the two words (well, one word and an abbreviation), that kept arguing with my reading experience during the journey I traveled, led by Megan Fields. I literally had to go back through my messages to see if I had read correctly, that this was the author’s first book! The author had me gripping my chair so tightly from the start, my fingernail nearly snapped completely off; I am talking prologue here! I hadn't even started the first chapter yet. This story is something you experience right along with the characters as you are placed face to face with some realities of life that you might otherwise avoid. I feel like a better person for reading this book. I believe I have a better understanding into the need to live a certain way and what might lead us to different decisions that shape and help our lives and gives us the ability, not only to exist and go on, but to thrive and excel. Yes, this story has just the right amount of very hot and steamy; shouldn't all aspects of passion and romance be hot and steamy? Reading this book isn't just a want; it’s an absolute need! I cannot wait until the continuation into the lives of my new found friends!

I patiently waited for the release of this book and was definitely not disappointed.
Ella and Jack had their puppy love ripped apart when Jack's family away.
After 10 years their paths cross again and the spark that once was still seems to remain.
After 10 years there lives have lead separate paths that have especially changed one of them tremendously.
The BDSM aspect of this book wasn't like other books it made you see it in a different light, weird but you must read to understand.
Great book and definitely intrigued to see what more transpires.

Awesome read, I only wish I could find the next book and the next. Fantastic characters. Love Jake and Ella. I believe there is more to tell and can only hope I find the other books.

For me it's in between like and dislike ..... No love for the book but not enough to hate either...
I was mainly drawn to this book because a good story with a female Domme is hard to find and I can't stand BDSM stories with female subs one cause I'm not AT ALL the submissive type and the thought of a woman in that position bind or gagged ( even though she may want it) does nag she's told as she's spanked etc. make wanna scream ..... When even I've tried to read one of those books the guy usually isn't a "true" Dom. Just some controlling, manipulative, jerk with a kinda dictator type complex that's almost wealthy and successful and sexy as all get out ,can have and do and be anything he wants yet he tells us he NEEDS some quote naturally submissive woman to enjoy in the bedroom and it's usually some woman who seems to become his willing doormat that he treats like crap Coz he can and she lets him because he makes he panties damp.... While usually any GOOD BDSM themed story where the guy is a sub. ( unless it's one thing f those weird stories where he's used and abused)( can't abide those books,don't want to see a male or female treated like that and thankfully the desc and reviews are honest enough to let you know without buying the book) he knows why he's there already and from the get go we know it's where he wants to be not because he's being pushed or seduced into something he's not sure he wants just to please someone else... Not that said I didn't Presley like this book, Jack was ok but I never really felt their chemistry and with whole chapters passing with maybe one small scene between the and the next thing you know your eithe being told the whole week has passed or a few weeks have passed ? For the longest thing between felt soo random and though she loved him she seemed soo eager to settle for "just friends " with him.... It was all that passive til he found out then he acted like a jerk and kinda confirmed why she'd held back, but I honestly just St couldn't care... I liked how strong Ella was and what a survivor she was,giving up can be soo easy but thankfully she had ppl who cared enough to pull her out.. Makes all the difference,it's harder to do if you don't have ppl who care when your made to feel your not worth caring about ... Easy to give up when you feel you have no worth... But I just never connected with her and thought he scene with the female sub was thankfully short and didn't go as far as I feared it did nothing to endear her to me .... Not a bad book per say with its happy for now ending but it soo did NOT do it for me... Not sure about another book from heritage nods on the fence because I just Know who bought Alex and I'm really curious about how that will go but not sure if I'll satisfy my curiosity or not...

( unless it's one thing f those weird stories where he's used and abused)( can't abide those books,don't want to see a male or female treated like that and thankfully the desc and reviews are honest enough to let you know without buying the book) he knows why he's there already and from the get go we know it's where he wants to be not because he's being pushed or seduced into something he's not sure he wants just to please someone else... Not that said I didn't Presley like this book, Jack was ok but I never really felt their chemistry and with whole chapters passing with maybe one small scene between the and the next thing you know your eithe being told the whole week has passed or a few weeks have passed ? For the longest thing between felt soo random and though she loved him she seemed soo eager to settle for "just friends " with him.... It was all that passive til he found out then he acted like a jerk and kinda confirmed why she'd held back, but I honestly just St couldn't care... I liked how strong Ella was and what a survivor she was,giving up can be soo easy but thankfully she had ppl who cared enough to pull her out.. Makes all the difference,it's harder to do if you don't have ppl who care when your made to feel your not worth caring about ... Easy to give up when you feel you have no worth... But I just never connected with her and thought he scene with the female sub was thankfully short and didn't go as far as I feared it did nothing to endear her to me .... Not a bad book per say with its happy for now ending but it soo did NOT do it for me... Not sure about another book from heritage nods on the fence because I just Know who bought Alex and I'm really curious about how that will go but not sure if I'll satisfy my curiosity or not...

Lost and Found was a fantastic first book, an easy 4.5 stars for Megan Fields on this one.
Ella and Jack. Young lovers torn apart too soon, were reunited some ten years later. A lot had changed in that time, for Ella especially, who lost her way after a terrifying ordeal and found herself, confident and reassured, in the world of BDSM. The chemistry and unquestionable love they once had never missed a beat. Struggling with her own demons, Ella knew she risked losing Jack if he found out she was a mistress in a club, but it was who she was now, and she never doubted that for a moment.
I appreciated Ella's unwavering faith in her decisions, who she was as a woman and what she needed. She was internally strong and nothing like I had expected her character to be. Ella was sweet, more like the girl next door, not even rough around the edges, just… normal? I'm not sure what a 'typical' dominatrix should look or sound like but I loved that Ella was a simple, everyday kind of girl.
Having only read books based on a male dom and female sub in the past, I was intrigued by the idea of a dominatrix as the leading lady. Intrigue was slightly clouded with apprehension too, I have to admit. Would I like it, what if I hated it?
Well, I didn't hate it, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Lost and Found is a must read and if you are new to the genre, I totally recommend it! There is no hard core BDSM, so you won't be thrown right into an alternate universe, but I promise you will be pleasantly tantalized and aroused:-)
Exceptionally written, words flowed beautifully and the sex scenes hot and descriptive in all the right places. I enjoyed the story line, it was well balanced between past trauma, inner turmoil and rediscovery. The characters were easy to connect with, and a certain anticipation hung over the scenes involving Ella and Jack's brother which added to the story in my eyes. I'm not sure this was intentional, but I definitely picked up on something from the get go.
Book number two won't be too far away I hear, and I'm really looking forward to reading Alex and Lottie's story. Honestly though, the character of Izzy is one I am excited about exploring more and I cannot wait to learn more of her story in book 3. I will be anxiously awaiting the release of both books.

Another amazing story by author Megan Fields. This is book 1 of the Discovery Series and is only the beginning of a lascivious journey between Jack and Ella. The author also introduces us to Alex (Jack's gorgeous brother), Lottie (Ella's mysterious sister) and Izzy, who is Ella's best friend and saviour.
Originally, Ella and Jack fell in love back in their teen years and for reasons unbeknown to them, were forced to go their separate ways.
Fast forward 10years and a chance meeting in a local café.

It’s a love lost then found again (lol) story that just tugs at your heart. Jack left Ella heartbroken when his family had to move away. After a few years she finally opens her heart to someone and it turned out to be the wrong someone. After that horrific relationship ended she turned to the BDSM lifestyle to gain some type of control back.
I was a little disappointed with this book though. Ella just didn’t make a believable Domme. She doubted her self way too much when Jack came back in to the picture. I felt she should have been more confident in her life choice and trusted that Jack would love her no matter what. Aside from that the book is great.
As a love story goes this book is well written with great supporting characters. There was one scene within the BDSM club that was super hot.
Overall this a good read, I was just a little disappointed that Ella didn’t own who she was. I would recommend this to everyone over the age of 18, of course.

The book started out with Ella still reliving her pass that is still haunting her. Her ex had messed up her really big and that's what lead to her current job. She is a mistress. Domme.. After Jack finds out Ella's secret it makes you wonder if he will still accept Ella for who she is .. And Give her a chance to allow their love to be true. I loved this book it gave you peak in first love, second chances, and smoking hot steam sexy scenes. Megan wrote in detail about the 2 character. She brought them out and in Live form for me. I am honestly super excited to read book 2 :) Who love will it be.. Alex? Ella's sister Lottie? Or even Lizzy (Ella's business partner) So much could be spun from this book. It gives you hope!!

I was so intrigued by the blurb for Lost and Found and I wasn't disappointed. I was hooked from the first page but I admit when it ended, I wanted to see what happened next cause I'm sure it was hot.
It's a great story, I'm not usually a BDSM fan but this one was intriguing as it uses the lifestyle to overcome a horrible incident and it helps Elle become stronger and tougher than before. Jack is ohh so fine and even though he caused pain when he left, his returns is just what Elle needs to turn the next corner in her recover. Jack's brother is pretty hot, not much more else to say about Alex. (I would love to be the filling in a Jack and Alex sandwich, just saying)

Ella has the most tragic and scariest experience from someone she should've been able to trust. She was violently violated. To take back control of her life she took self defense and becomes a Dom in the BDSM world. She Runs into an old love and is afraid he will never understand or accept her lifestyle. This story was really good. Megan Fields did a great job with capturing my attention and keeping it. The story starts off tragic and suspenseful. You watch Elle struggle and grow. It is a sweet love story. I have come to enjoy all the characters in this story. Jack is strong and loving and is so good for Elle. Alex's brother Jack is another story I'm craving for. I can't wait to see the little sassy spitfire Lottie come to life in her story too!

Meh? Not bad? I'm trying to figure out why I didn't like this read more. It boarderlined between rushed, and a good pace. Not a lot of fluff, which is usually a good thing. It seems like there should have been something more. MOre about Jack's background that would have made his submission make more sense. I mean, he just submitted. Like, ok, I'm a male submissive. I get it that he wanted to be with Ella, but, it just felt superficial. And, Ella's reactions that were supposed to be based on her trauma? They just seemed forced, and out of place. Her triggers made no sense. BUT, I liked the story, and the characters. It was ok. Not great. But I would try another read from this author.

This book is not your typical BDSM book at all. I love how this author took the norm and gave it her own twist to fit what her characters needed. Jack and Ella had the love that everyone wants and strives to have, but life got in the way. Circumstances beyond both of their control lead them both down different paths, causing them to drift apart.
Now that they have met again years later, will Jack and Ella be able to let that love that was so obvious years ago shine again or will the past be too much and get in between what they both want and need?

Absolutely loved this book.
I really liked the characters, especially the Cole brothers...ooh!! lala!! I think I have a new BBF!!
Everything you could possibly want in a book is here; love, lust, passion, secrets, jealousy...great sex scenes!! The book also contains sensitive issues which are handled with thought and care.
I can't praise this book enough, so you will have to one-click to find out. Lost and Found can be read as a standalone but is part of a series and I can't wait for book 2.

Jack and Ella have an lighting type of connection After being separated by no fault of there own a chance meeting in a coffee shop has there hormones going off the chart .....I think I could feel the static through my kindle as I was reading it's sooooooo good....
This book has everything love , lust , hurt and angst .... go ahead 1 click ....
I'm off to buy the next book in this series

Think this is one of the best written books I have had the pleasure of reading. Switching between characters is never easy but the way Megan does it in 1st person is great. Keeps you hooked till the very end.wish it was longer, but has kept me wanting more. Has character and will stand the test of time. Please keep writing, cant wait for the next instalment. 1 Very sexy book!

Loved it. It is always great to see a woman take her life back. And to use BDSM for it makes it even sweeter.
