Felt like we didn’t get aspect of a “lumberjack” but I like the storyline and I’m glad that Eden found someone more her speed. I liked Jedd and that he saved her. Book felt a little fast but still an easy read.

I loved this book!! A Beauty and the Beast retelling in a very, very twisted sort of way!!
Jedd, with a past he was running from, scarred inside and out as he tried to reconcile with the events that took place years before. And Eden, barely surviving in her relationship with Halston. She knew she was unhappy with Halston, so why was she staying with him?
This story evolves as Jedd, having seen Eden out in his woods camping with Halston, becomes obsessed.
He needed to see her again! So with the aid of his brother, Silas, they plan for Jedd to spend a weekend with her, at Hotel Diablo!
A twisted tale as Jedd's obsession takes over his thoughts as he works through his plan with Silas and friend Lucien to "take" Eden, just for a weekend, and for him to calm his obsession and then let her go! A riveting story as Jedd's feelings evolve and Eden, once she sees the man behind the scars, finds comfort and safety in his arms...something she never felt with Halston.

Lumberjacks Obsession ( Hotel Diablo ) Cassie Lein and Bre Rose - not only are they 2 of my absolute favorite authors , but together they make such a fantastic duo . Ok I have to be completely up front , when I first started this story , I really was not so sure it was my thing . But as per usual the more I got into it well I very quickly become hooked and ended up just devouring every single word .This time we get a bit of a Beauty and The Beast Retelling with many added twists and turns and oh what a emotional rollercoaster it was . Both Eden and Jedd were extremely flawed and broken characters yet so strong underneath. For Jedd they stem from a past he is running from and many emotional scars . For Eden it’s dealing with the emotional tolls of a past relationship.the journey that these two are taken on has it all darkness and obsession, spice and passion, intrigue and suspense, tragedy, love , secrets, second chances complexities and much much more .

Another immediate add to cart from Bre and Cassie! You get everything in this book- dark, possessive, stalker-esque MMC, FMC who after years of being abused has lost her voice. Throw in some kidnapping and I was hooked from beginning to end. There are definitely a boat load of triggers in this story- dubious consent, kidnapping, domestic violence- tread lightly before you dive into it. I also loved that there was a touch of Beauty and the Beast in this due to Jedd hiding from the world due to his scars and Eden being the beauty he is drawn to right from the beginning. Anytime a story can incorporate in any way my favorite Disney fairytale, I am sold. It is a quick read, which I was sad about since I do love more when the stories are this good, but it certainly was one that I couldn’t put down and had me sucked into from beginning to end. I will certainly be getting my hands on the other 2 stories in this series because if they are anything like this one, they are going to be AMAZING!

This book is part of the Hotel Diablo series. This series has a total of 3 books and each book is written by a different but amazing author. This book is a collaboration between two of my favorite authors, Bre Rose and Cassie Lein. Both are amazing authors by themselves, but when you put them together…Kaboom!!
I think this book should have been titled "Unhinged Lumberjack’s Obsession!” This lumberjack MMC is just a huge walking red flag! Eden was like nothing he had expected. She was a downtrodden and sad woman who was unhappy with the state of her life. And then it happened…
Thank you, Bre Rose and Cassie Lein, for another amazing and beautiful collab. It was dark, twisted and depraved! I loved this story and the characters. I also need to read the other 2 books in this series. I want to know more about Lucien!!!

Lumberjack's Obsession is book two of the Hotel Diablo Series.

This was an intense and spicy read. Eden is in a very toxic relationship when Jedd sees her and knows he has to have her. He enlists the help of some friends and gets Eden all to himself for one weekend. The mission is to get her as invested in him as he is in her. Things go a little off the rails at times, but we see how these two were made for each other. Jedd is a bit off the charts, but the one good thing about him is his devotion to Eden. He will do whatever it takes to protect her and take care of her. He is a bit unhinged, but not sorry for any of that. Good read.

Completely Obsessed

When I saw this was written by both Cassie and Bre I knew it was going to be a one click buy and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! These two authors are amazing and when they wrote together nothing can stop them.

I absolutely love Jedd. He is quiet and reserved but when he sets his eyes on Eden his obsession went magnetic. There was no stopping him from getting what he wanted. Even the leprechaun and the annoying chair couldn't put up fight towards him. With the help of his brother and the owner of Hotel Diablo, Jedd gets a chance, one weekend of pure Eden to either get her out of his system or to capture her heart forever.

Amazing read. This was a little different than their usual books that they write together. But it did not disappoint. Jedd lives out in the woods in a cabin. He likes being alone. One day he was hunting for food and he heard people talking and laughing. He wasn’t happy that someone invaded his space. So he followed the sounds and watched them. It was a boyfriend and girlfriend. Halston constantly put Eden down and would hurt her. One day she had enough and she grabbed her bag and ran. She was almost to the diner when someone grabbed her. Shortly after she was introduced to Jedd and this is where things get interesting. Loved it.

A WEEKEND GETAWAY

Bre Rose and Cassie Lein are a writing duo powerhouse, their styles compliment each other so well and the writing of this book is cohesive, dynamic and diabolical! A weekend away at Hotel Diablo for Jedd and his new obsession Eden was nothing short of dark and thrilling. This weekend had it all, room service, ensuited bathroom, kitchenette, chains, knives, mutilation, what more could you ask for!! There's a vulnerability to Jedd that captivated me and Eden's willingness to submit without giving up her power was eye opening! There was nothing that I didn't enjoy in this book but then again, these authors are two of my favourite.

Listen, there will never be a Cassie and Bre book I don’t gobble up.
This however was one I was a little unprepared for. To be fair it was my own fault. 🤣

Apple/Eden is in a relationship that doesn’t value her. A man who doesn’t love or care for her. One who uses hands when provoked. She deserves love and affection.

Jedd has lived in the woods for years. His own punishment or preservation. When he runs into Eden in the woods he’s immediately obsessed.

One weekend. 4 rules. Will there be love or will the chair win out in the end?

I love when Cassie and Bre partner together and The Lumberjack's Obsession did not disappoint!! If you like a dark, possessive, stalker-vibe, then this book is a perfect weekend read for you! Eden, the FMC, lost her "voice" over the years with her abusive boyfriend and I loved seeing her find herself again in a very unlikely way. Jedd is all shades of wrong, but when you hear his story, your heart will hurt, but the pairing of the two is perfection! I adore Lucifer and hope to see him again down the road!

Lumberjack's Obsession is basically a beauty and the beast retelling with a but of demon/monster action. I believe it also borders on some serious stockholm bonding.

There is kidnapping, domestic abuse, and dubious consent in this book, so if you can't handle those, this probably isn't for you. Also, the whole coffee pot scene? New for me. Loved it. I love books with humor in it.

Cassie Lein and Bre Rose did a great job on this book. I'd definitely be interested in others of this series.

With a little help from his brother, Jedd gets one chance, one weekend at Hotel Diablo to show her the love he still has to give. This story broke my heart for both of them but made me so happy when Eden saw beyond his scars to the man he truly is. A great start to the Hotel Diablo series, I can’t wait to see more.

Jedd is hiding from the world, so happy in the boonies until someone comes on to his land. He sets off to see who and get rid of them. Eden has been abused for so long, her current boyfriend is awful so she takes off, and someone grabs her.This story is deep, dark, lots of triggers and yet so good. Beauty and the Beast basis with so much more.
Wow, I am continually excited to read stories by Bre and Cassie. They wrote so seamlessly that I cannot tell who is writing what. Their story has great characters and scenes to get lost in. Fast but not easy to read. Check those trigger warnings.

Another lovely dark, deranged, and unhinged spicy love story. Jedd sees Eden in the woods, camping with her horrible boyfriend. Jedd is absolutely captivated by her, something that hasn’t happened in years. Jedd’s brother gets him a weekend at Hotel Diablo, and that includes Eden, willing or not. Despite his controlling tendencies, Eden falls for Jedd and feels safe with him. Lots of possible triggers, so check the warnings.

Eden in an abusive relationship she’s fed up. She’s had enough how she’s been treated, but doesn’t know how to get away when there on a campaign trip her boyfriend hits her again and that’s the final straw.

I've read books from both Cassie Lein and Bre Rose and I love all their writing. I couldn't wait to read this.

FMC Eden isn't happy with her current life and isn't sure she was ever truly happy with it.
MMC Jedd is unhinged with a damaged and dark past.
Kidnapping, a little blood shed, control. Not a proper way to meet but who said it had to be.
Jedd find his Apple in the Garden of Eden and he didn't know he was missing it his whole life.

I loved this twisted story! Eden really had me feeling for her, I hated the way Halston treated her. And Jedd was a little crazy but I kinda like it! His thing for chairs had me giggling a little, but I sure stopped when he got all growly and possessive *swoon.* And the coffee pot?! Priceless. This was such a good read, I had to read it in one sitting because I could not put it down. These authors are my favorite co-writers, and they have come up with another fantastic book! Amazing read!

When I first started to read this I was a little worried it would be something I shouldn't like.
Bre and Cassie are two of my favorite authors this is a little different from there usual writing.
But after a while I fell in love with the characters and the story.
It's almost a little like a beauty and the beast vibe.
Filled with all you could want and it shows love can conquer all and sometimes all it takes is a little help from the owner of Hotel Diablo.
Fast read but very satisfying.

Dark and Dominant

This story is relatively short, less than 200 pages, but it packs in a plot. If you like your MMC unhinged and a bit on the crazy side and your FMC with a broken spirit and abusive past this is going to be right up your alley. There is spice but it doesn’t get in the way of the plot. The only thing that bugged me was the constant twisting of the FMC’s stomach. Everything made her stomach twist or her gut twist. Please find another way to say that. Overall good book!

Love, Love, Loved this Read!



I call Cassie and Bre the dynamic duo of collabs! They are amazing individually but together, they are next level! This book was no exception. I sat down to start reading it and next thing I know, hours had passed and I was at the end. This story grabbed me right from the beginning and didn’t let go. I loved reading every minute of this dark, gritty, intense, toxic and oh so good story. It's action packed, got great chemistry, wonderful characters, storyline and plot. I couldn't put it down once I started jedd and Eden's story. I was hooked from start to finish, what a wild ride.

Jedd and the chair. Anyway Jedd lives in the woods and when he sees Eden camping with her tool boyfriend he becomes obsessed. He has to have her and when his brother Silas helps find her and gets her to Hotel Diablo for him. He has a weekend to convince Eden they belong together. Be prepared it is unique and Hotel Diablo is not a romantic setting. Its diark but there also more to Jedd.

Welcome to Hotel Diablo

This is the second book I have read in the Hotel Diablo series.

Both were very different in ways, but similar in others. HEA in this one, but it’s almost not to be.

Great storyline, interesting characters and a villain that needed to go. Happy reading. This has content not for everyone, so be aware.

Another book I absolutely loved from Cassie and Bre that I so enjoyed reading. This story is part of the Hotel Diablo series and it was so good. Loved the characters. This one is a darker read but wow the storyline was incredible. Start to finish I obsessed over this book. Definitely a must read story. So so good.

Holy moley, this was dark and unhinged and I am OBSESSED. I loved our MMC Jedd because who doesn't love a feral man in the woods and I also loved that he was willing to do anything to keep Eden. Definitely enjoyed.
