Second chance Mix one grumpy cowboy, one runaway heroine, and one drunk dial together. Serve hot 🔥. For best results, strand them together.

Sawyer

I’ve avoided my hometown since Boone Montgomery proposed.
Spoiler I said no.
Was it a mistake?
Probably.
Will I ever admit that?
Not likely.
But when my younger sister begs me to come back for her milestone birthday, I cave.
Everything is fine until her boyfriend proposes.
I get a little drunk to mask the pain.
And call an Uber to sneak away from the crowded bar.
Except this small town doesn’t have Uber.
Something I don’t figure out until I wake up the next morning in the bed of a sexy, grumpy cowboy I turned down all those years ago.
Either karma is having a good laugh at my expense.
Or maybe my drunk dial is fate’s way of giving us a second chance.
Either way, we’re stranded together and about to find out.

One misdialed call, accidental text, or late-night drunk dial sparks instant attraction, unexpected chemistry, and a whole lot of trouble. From grumpy mountain men to handsome hockey players, and smoking hot firemen, each wrong number leads to the right kind of love connection. Your next obsession is calling.

Wrong Number, Right Guy is a multi-author series of short, steamy instalove stories with guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

Wrong Number, Right Cowboy is Book 1 of multi-authored Wrong Number Right Guy series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT,midlife, forced-proximity, mutual-pining, drunk dial/wrong number, curvy girl gets her cowboy second chance romance. Sawyer is a 35-year-old sassy ball of fire who has come home for her sister's birthday. Boone is a hunky cowboy and her ex that she left 5 years ago to move to the city for her career. When she drunkenly calls Boone, thinking it's Uber, he ends up coming to get her, and she ends up stuck at his place due to weather. These two were all piss and vinegar. My goodness were they stubborn. Their sexual tension and chemistry were insane. The banter was funny, and the ending was happy once they got on the same page. I loved it.

This is a stand alone story that is part of the multi-author collaboration "Wrong Number, Right Guy". It is a short and quick read with instant love. The story is about Sawyer, Boone, a misplaced call and a second chance. This is a fun, cute, sweet and sexy story. I enjoyed every bit of the story and love the characters.

Infelizmente a história não me agradou.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Boone and Sawyer dated ten years ago, but when he proposed she couldn't accept. Sawyer then left town and went to Dallas. Now Sawyer is back for her sister's birthday then at her party her boyfriend proposes to her and Sawyer's sister accepts. This leads Sawyer to drinking then she dials her ex-boyfriend Boone's number for an uber. Boone is still in love with Sawyer so he goes to pick her up at the bar she's at. Then Boone has no choice but to take Sawyer home with him. Boone helps Sawyer when she starts throwing up and then puts her to bed. Boone runs a ranch that he and Sawyer wanted when they were together. When Sawyer wakes up she realizes she's in Boone's home. Boone realizes she's awake and tells her to take a shower. Sawyer doesn't want to put her clothes back on so she borrows some from Boone. Boone and Sawyer have some breakfast before he goes and does some chores. Sawyer wants to leave the ranch so she tells Boone, but it's been raining all night and they find out the road is flooded. When Sawyer insists on leaving Boone takes her to show her the road is flooded, but then he gets stuck. When Boone tries to get unstuck he falls in the mud, Sawyer tries to help but then she falls. When they head back to the ranch they find a calf who's stuck in the mud. Boone then has to check on all the animals to make sure none are missing, while Sawyer helps. Boone kisses Sawyer. Sawyer tells Boone that she hates him. Boone then pleasures Sawyer. Boone and Sawyer spend the weekend together making love. After the weekend Boone calls Sawyer's best friend to come and pick her up so she can head back to Dallas. Boone leaves when Sawyer gets upset. Sawyer goes after Boone to asks him what's going on. Boone tells Sawyer she was going to leave, but she tells him no she wasn't. Sawyer explains to Boone why she turned down his proposal. Sawyer tells him she's not happy in Dallas and hates her job. Sawyer asks Boone if he kept her ring for someone else and he tells her it's hers. Boone asks Sawyer if she really wants to marry him, and she tells him she's never wanted anything more. Six months later, Sawyer is a brides maid at her sister's wedding. Boone and Sawyer were married the day after they spend the weekend together, it was just a small ceremony.

She called the wrong number. Fate answered with a cowboy.

Sawyer (h) never planned to come home for more than her sister’s birthday. But one impulsive engagement, one too many drinks, and one misplaced phone call lead her straight into the arms of Boone (H), the rugged ex she left behind in Wildwood Springs. Stuck at his ranch during a brutal storm, Sawyer has no choice but to face the man she broke and the truth she’s been running from.

Boone never forgot the woman who turned down his proposal five years ago. Seeing her again reopens every old wound, but it also reignites the passion he’s never been able to put out. When the storm traps them together, unresolved tension turns to temptation, and every moment forces them closer to the life they almost had. Each touch brings back what they lost, and each fight reveals how deep the love still runs.

As the skies clear, so do the walls between them. Sawyer must decide if she’ll return to the life she built in Dallas or claim the home and the man she never stopped wanting. Boone must decide if his guarded heart can risk another goodbye. Together, they face the hardest truth of all: sometimes love takes leaving to find its way back.

Sawyer evolves from feeling lost and unfulfilled in her city life to realizing her true happiness lies in returning to her roots and embracing the love she once left behind. Boone grows from guarded and hurt by past rejection to opening himself up again, trusting Sawyer with his heart. Their relationship shifts from tense and unresolved to rekindled and secure, built on renewed trust, communication, and mutual commitment.

A steamy, second chance, small town, cowboy romance, exploring love, forgiveness, family bonds, personal growth, and homecoming.

OMG So yummy!
Sawyer was back in Wildwood Springs for her sister's birthday party. Which turned into her sister's engagement party. But being there just reminded her of leaving five years before. And the man she had left behind. So she got drunk.
At the end of the night, she called an Uber. Or so she thought. Except she woke up in her ex-boyfriend's bed. The man she's regretted leaving for the past five years. The man who still hates her.
Except Boone doesn't hate her. Not really. But being back in the same space as Sawyer brings back too many feelings. Too many memories he'd rather forget. Especially since none of it matters anymore. She's just going to go back to the life she chose over him.
OMG The push and pull between these two is so good, neither of them wanting to admit that five years hadn't changed anything. But they're both too good at fighting with each other. Not so good at backing down. Boone wants to ask her to stay, and Sawyer wants to ask to stay, but neither of them have the guts to put themselves out there again and risk rejection.
This was a good story with plenty of banter, and a good bit of miscommunication and assuming mixed in. They fight like cats and dogs, but there's an undercurrent they can't ignore.
Sometimes what you're looking for is right where you left it.

You want to read an ebook that just sizzles page after page? Well you have definitely found it in this exciting ebook. I just really loved it. Sawyer comes back to town after being gone for five years for her sister's birthday party. Things are going good until her little sister gets engaged then Sawyer drinks too much and drunk texts her forever love. Boone hasn't seen his first love since she left five years previously taking his heart. His sister calls for him to pick her and Sawyer up which he has no chance of refusing. Sawyer is as beautiful as ever but he is so angry at her. Sawyer wakes up in Boone's cabin which she wanted to stay far away from and who does she see but Boone still the most handsomest man she's ever known. Their chemistry is still unbelievably sizzling hot and their connection is stronger than ever. Will Sawyer and Boone finally decide that they were meant for each other always? Can Sawyer admit to Boone that she made a big mistake leaving him and her heart behind? Does Boone put his pride aside and ask Sawyer to stay forever or does he assume things and risk losing her? I highly encourage you to get this outstanding super sizzling passionate 5⭐️ winner you won't be able to stop reading it's so good. You will absolutely love it.

Calling an Uber gets her a different kind of ride

Wrong Number Right Cowboy by Kali Hart is part of the multi-author Wrong Number, Right Guy series. I loved this second chance at love romance between Sawyer Rose and Boone Montgomery. They grew up together in the small mountain town of Wildwood Springs. When they were fifteen years old Boone knew that that were meant to be together forever, and that is what is looked like would happen. They had their lives pretty well planned out, having gotten a puppy, a ranch and a bunch of animals together. But five years ago when Boone proposed Sawyer spooked and ran off to the Dallas. She got a job at a corporation, a roommate who hates her, no real friends and a 401(k). Boone built the life they had planned. When Sawyer comes back home for her younger sister Sammie's twenty-fifth birthday the night takes a turn that ends up with Sawyer making a drunk call to Boone, thinking she is calling an Uber. You just know this night is going to get fun and also take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride as they are stranded in his cabin after a storm washes out the road to his place. It seems that no matter how far Sawyer tries to run she ends up exactly where she was always meant to be...with Boone, in a cabin, with a dog named Thunder and all the animals and crazy family and friends that she can handle.

Wrong number, right amount of steam!

Kali Hart ropes you in from the first page of Wrong Number, Right Cowboy and doesn’t let go. This short but scorching romance hits all the right notes for lovers of second chances, forced proximity, and small-town charm—with a cowboy who’s grumpy in the best way and a heroine who may have left once... but never forgot who she left behind.

Sawyer’s accidental drunk dial is the best mistake she’s ever made—and readers will be so glad she made it. Boone Montgomery? Still brooding, still gorgeous, and still 100% in love with the girl who got away. When they’re stranded together thanks to a twist of fate (and a serious lack of Uber), their chemistry reignites fast—and this time, there’s no running away.

Expect:
🤠 A cowboy who grunts, glowers, and adores
📱 A hilarious wrong-number moment that leads to more
🔥 Sizzling second-chance heat
🏡 Small-town charm with big emotions
💘 A fast-paced HEA that satisfies

This is the perfect one-sitting read when you want sweet, spicy, and just a little bit chaotic in the best possible way. If you love grumpy cowboys with soft spots for the one that got away, this is your ride.

Cowboy romance.
Sawyer is a young woman who runs away from her hometown after her ex-boyfriend proposes. But now that she's back in her hometown, Boon, her ex-boyfriend, just happens to be the person she calls after a drunken night at the bar.
Boon is a broken man after Sawyer rejects his proposal. But now that she's back and stuck with her, he doesn't dare dream of a future with her even though the tension between them is still very present.
Will Sawyer and Boon get their happy ending or will their past hurts never fade away….

After Sawyer's sister gets engaged at her birthday party Sawyer gets drunk and tries to call an Uber but calls her ex Boone instead. Sawyer left Boone 5 years ago and now Boone doesn't want anything to do with her afraid she'll break his heart again. This is a second chance story but the couple seems to not want to talk anything out. It is well written, a quick read with lots of arguing and some steam and it took me a bit to actually like both characters. Still a very enjoyable story.

"It's only ever been you"

Fate gives Boone and Sawyer the second chance they needed, it is obvious they have only ever loved each other, but love wasn't enough when they were younger, it was overwhelmed by Sawyer's grief and fear. The second she left, she knew it was wrong, she was wrong, but pride stopped her returning.
They avoid each other whenever possible, until the alcohol....does alcohol make everything blurry or everything clearer?
It's just the right amount of crazy, to make it fun, flirty, sweet and sexy.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

This short story was told from both points of view and gave two people who despite everything that had happened between them, still loved each other and wanted to be together. As the story unfolds truths are told, emotions run high, memories hit them, their passion is still strong and fear and doubts come to visit. I liked the support they recieved, the self reflection and the strength they had to fight through the fear and regret and fight for what they wanted.

Finding an Uber is nor hard especially when it is your ex-fiancé who picks you up before a rainstorm as you are 1 sheet to the wind. Now a big City girl and just witness your sister's birthday/engagement proposal. Whew! The make up encounters as they banter and help each other out throughout the house is interesting while working on the farm. Is this reality in a good way or a bad way? Making up is so hard to so!! Good read.

It may have been the wrong number to call but it was the right person. They were together for a long time then she freaked out when he asked her to marry him. Said no and left town. Now she is back and drunk dialed him. Can they work out their issues or will she leave again? I enjoyed their story and characters.

This short story is dual POV, well written, and an angsty, steamy, second chance, small town, contemporary romantic comedy. I chuckled at Sawyer’s drunken antics. I sincerely appreciated Boone’s fidelity. I enjoyed the fast growing acceptance by Sawyer of what she really wanted out of life. I empathised with Boone’s fears. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes and the supportive secondary characters.

A light hearted romance where Sawyer accidentally calls her ex-boyfriend, Boone as an Uber driver, because she drank to much at her sister's party. She ends up with no place to stay but Boone's. Then there was a big rain storm that flooded the road to his ranch, so they were stuck together for several days. Boone insisted Sawyer was always the only one for him.

Sawyer gets drunk, because her beloved ten years younger sister got engaged. She turned the love of her life down five years ago, when he popped the question. Deeply regretting it and big city life is not what it seems. She calls him drunken, thinking he is an uber driver. And the old feelings are still there.
Sweet and funny story, perfect for a quick read to sheer up the heart.

This book would’ve gotten four stars anyway just because it used one of my favorite girls’ names, Sawyer, for the FMC. Just saying. Luckily, it’s a good enough book to get four stars even if the name had been something I dislike. I enjoyed this story of Boone and Sawyer. They were very steamy together. Plus this is a First Love, Second Chance story, and I’m such a fool for those.

Sawyer has finally accepted that leaving Boone for a career in the city was the biggest mistake of her life. Boone is still trying to understand how she could turn her back on him so completely. But it can't stay that way—Sawyer is back in town, and it's inevitable that she will see Boone. This is a wonderful story of second chances and rekindled love.

This second chance romance is a fun read and a great start to the multi-author Wrong Number, Right Guy series. I love how the author brought Boone and Sawyer back together and how one phone call changed everything. Great writing, a sweet storyline, and believable characters make this a fabulous start to the series. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This was a great story. The way they both tried to deny what was there despite the time and hurt... just, yeah, I get it. The fact that Boone even went in the 1st place said allot, but the "accidental" dial, maybe not such an accident as subconscious. Either way, great story!
