Broken Temptation

Rate this book
From New York Times best-selling author, Eve Carter, comes the final book to the Tempted Series that started with Pure Temptation.

A week has passed since fight promoter Bruno Costello took off with the nine year-old daughter of MMA fighter Luke Romero and the FBI have no clue where to look. To make matters worse, the promise of Luke getting back his professional license has fallen through. When he's offered a deal, he takes it, knowing it's the best chance he has to find his daughter before it’s too late.
Luke's girlfriend, Daniella Carrington, has her own issues to deal with. She's been called back to Summerville to testify against her friend's abusive ex. There’s only one problem; Dani is known to the Summerville police as Hanna and taking the stand under oath could land her in jail.
Add in a handsome stranger relentlessly pursuing Dani and nothing is certain. Will Dani and Luke be able to make things right or will they lose everything, including each other?

I am a true romantic at heart and with a modern contemporary erotic twist to my romance novels, you had better fasten your seat belt, as the ride is always fun, exciting and fiery.
Living in Las Vegas, but a mid-westerner at heart, I find plenty of inspiration for my books in my own exciting life. I have always loved the arts and as a young girl, I took dance classes and spent the summers reading books from the local library. Fascinated with the written word and its power to guide the imagination, I started writing short stories and later took Creative Writing classes in college. I graduated from The University of Iowa with a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. in Higher Education. I also have a Teaching Credential from Chapman University in Southern California.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the novel. You can email me directly at evecarterbooks@gmail.com and if you enjoyed the book, please share your excitement with other fans of women’s erotic romance. You can write a review by clicking here: Deceived Part 1 – New York

With Bruno taking his daughter, Luke will do anything to get her back. With Dani having to go back to Summerville she never expects to see Luke's daughter Lacey there. They formulate a plan but never considered over players. Great stories and great characters. I enjoyed ready Luke & Dani's story

Emotional

as usual Eve Carter, has managed to drive me insane with so many emotions, I had no clue as what would happen next. Luke trying to save his daughter from some ruthless people, falling deeper in love with Daniela and trying to hold on to her and keep her safe and then trying to get his ban from the MMA Commissioner revoked, while working with the FBI. Daniela, with a heart the size of Texas, is constantly looking over her shoulder, from the same ruthless people that has Luke's, daughter for some missing money they believe she has. while providing for her grandmother and helping Luke and a friend she met Emma, she's willing to put everything on the line to help and save everyone, even at the cost of her freedom.

This was my first reading experience with this author and sadly my last. I feel scammed into buying three books because the author is into cliffhangers and selling. This was a three book series that, in my humble opinion, was two books too long. It was filled with tedium and minutiae and the sex scenes were refurbished. By browsing this authors other titles, I sadly think this is her M.O. I liked the first book and I gave the other two the benefit of the doubt. Not sure but the last two almost seem to be written by different author. The font and spacing of the last two are comical, no really this is a full length book. Not!

I love reading Eve Carter books!!!

I started by reading book 1 in this series. I was so entranced that I had to go right to book 2 then had to read book 3. All in 1 day. Couldn't put them down. I had to know the outcome of Dani and Luke. So that said the ending was wonderfully written. Some parts were sad and you feel all the emotions for these people but I loved all 3 of these books

LUKE WON IT ALL

Including my heart. Dani was strong, brave, loving woman with (praise be finally) a backbone. It ends perfectly. You have the answers to all of your questions, and everyone got what they deserved. Don't judge this series by the first book, keep reading Raw Temptation and Broken Temptation and you will enjoy as much as I did. I would definitely recommend this series.

I liked the story but there were just a couple wholes in the story, like what about her so called best friends in New York? Would they not miss her or look for her if she went missing? What about her finishing her degree?

Their love story was good and I would recommend it to friends but it has wholes

An awesome ending to a great story! I loved all three books in this series, but this book was my favorite. I loved the happy ending that Luke, Dani and Lacey got. The ending that Jasper and Emma got was great too. Very well written and great storyline.

This final instalment didn't quite live up to the first two in the series. The plot was predictable and the intended surprises weren't a surprise.
That said I read to the end. I liked the characters, but it didn't quite hit the mark.

This was my least favorite of the 3... but the story had to end. Just seemed like a lot of sex and a little bit of story. very repetitive

I hate to do reviews on books that I didn't enjoy, but it is what it is. I didn't like it. I honestly skimmed through, reading only what they said. not caring what they thought. Oh well....
