Earth: Near Future Experience has taught Sarah Rasmussen that hot guys don’t go for geeks like her. Their retreat speed is usually proportional to the value of her IQ. However, for every rule it seems there is an exception—or in her lucky case, two.
When confronted with the disturbing fact she has been genetically manipulated in order to save an alien race stranded on Earth for a thousand years, she needs the strength of the men’s devotion to deal with the life-changing news. But when she learns that the love of the two men she has come to care for deeply is not quite as it appears, it could shatter her heart forever.
Nick Bannister and Adam McKeoun will never stop fighting to convince Sarah she is their world, no matter what the source of their emotion. They will let nothing stand in their way of forging a happiness that will transcend any challenge, especially not a calculating and determined enemy bent on Sarah’s destruction.

I first put pen to paper with the intention of writing a fantasy story way back in 1987. And I do mean pen to paper, back then I could find the ‘zone’ more easily by creating the words with my hand as well as my head.
I began the exercise as a hobby and over the next 20 years managed to create a one hundred and fifty thousand word fantasy. Quite some time to write a book, I know, but not finishing never entered my head. How to finish certainly proved something of a challenge.
In 2009 a friend suggested I join the wonderful RWAus (Romance Writers of Australia) group and in 2010 I attended my first conference. The support and inspiration received from the members of this great organisation help me recognise that writing is not only the journey, but the destination as well.
In 2012 I volunteered to contest manage the RWAus STALI (Single Title And Loving It). An interesting experience to say the least. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is exceptional and I take my hat off to contest managers everywhere.
It took me a long time to read this book. There were heaps of potential and you see sneak peaks of the talent this author can have but in my opinion she needs to refine it. I don't know if I can say this as a female, but this book was a bit of a cock tease. Numerous times they almost....then they get disrupted just at the good part. They get the poor girl off once until the last chapter of the book, then the foreplay takes too long before they get down to business. I actually lost interest a few times at this point and started thinking about mundane daily things and had to back up a few sentences or a paragraph or two because I realized I didn't take anything in. The book as a whole was exciting, confusing and needs a little more work. Sadly the only thing that saved the book from being a flat 1 star was a very sci-fi battle near the end...This should not be the high point for a romance.
What happens when the 'Bad guys' become the 'Good guys'?
I really enjoyed parts of this story but it isn't as good as Alien Mine which was beyond excellent. I loved the idea for this book and parts of it were very good. I would really only recommend it to people who have a love of sci-fi as well as menage though as there was a lot, L. O. T. lot, of technical jargon.
It does bog down a bit in the middle but it picks back up again. I did find myself having to reread parts because my mind had wandered to other things while I was reading, which was a bit disconcerting. Also, if you are looking for a Sexy read, there is a bit of making-out in the book, but they don't consumate their relationship until the very end of the book.
All 3 of the MCs occasionally got on my nerves, but I still found them very interesting and their story was good enough that I finished the book because I wanted to know what happened to them and the other characters.
I got this via the Kindle Unlimited program. Am I glad I spent my time reading it? Yup. I'm still waiting on the sequel to Alien Mine though.
After reading alien, mine, I was really excited to tad her newest book. This book is dry... there is no spark, and Sandra Harris has a predilection for shifting viewpoints that she really needs to avoid. It was annoying in her first book, but ruination for this one. I will only read something by her again if it is on kindle unlimited or in first person. This book was bad, not worth it, even free.
I enjoyed this book! On review I would give Alien Mine a 5. First books in series usually have a lot of character background, but this book had enough action/tension to balance the story out. There were a number of phrases I found highly amusing. Romance/sexual tension and a happy ending. Waiting for more.
I didn't really care for this one. It dumps you in the middle, and you have to figure out quickly what is going on. I just didn't feel anything for any of the characters except Marina. I don't know. Blah. Sorry. Just, maybe, not in the right place for this one?
