Chase Knightly and Noah Ellington are both best friends of Nate and Ru, who have just got married, so they will be seeing a lot more of each other.

Chase has everything he could ever want. Being the CEO of Knight-In, he has made a lot of money. He helps get small businesses off the ground, by investing in them.

Noah works for a publishing house and is looking for a new client, he thinks Chase could write an autobiography. They get to know each other, and Chase falls hard and fast, but Noah cannot get involved with a client, it is written in his contract. Noah is downtrodden by his boss, who makes him feel less than. Luckily, Chase has an idea.

I enjoyed this second book in the ‘Love on the Flip Side’ series by Jem Wendel and Hinsel Meyer. While I have read many of Jem’s books, Hinsel is a new to me author, and I will actively read more from them.
The writing flows effortlessly and the story moves along at a lovely pace. This age gap, insta-love romance was just lovely to read.
I love how quickly Chase fell for Noah, despite their twenty year age gap.Their characters are both written so beautifully, and I felt a connection to both of them. I loved Noah’s family, they support him no matter what.
I need to read the first book now.

This was a fun and lighthearted read! I really enjoyed Noah and Chase's story. It was fun to see Noah try to resist the pull between then and ultimately not succeeding. I loved seeing them kind of circle each other before jumping into a relationship. I was glad we saw them some more after then becoming a couple. It was great to see them navigate day to day life and deal with busy lives. It's not always easy and we saw that and we also saw Noah change his attitude. He really wanted to succeed and felt pressure to do so, but in the end Chase just wanted him to be able to do his job the way he wanted.
I loved Chase's caretaking and attentiveness. He was a really great partner for Noah, always supporting him.

It was great to see some of the characters from previews books and experience the banter and vibes from this bookwolrd.

Read this if you like age-gap with some great yearning and pining and slight forbidden romance vibes.

The Billionaire and the Geek by Jem Wendel and Hinsel Meyer is the second book in their Love on the Flip Side series. It is the story of an older man who has made billions in investments through the years, a younger literary agent who helps him write his autobiography, and how they fell in love with a few problems to be solved along the way. Chase Knightly is a fun guy and young at heart at 53 and is a billionaire through his company, Knight-In, where he helps small businesses to grow and he makes money in turn. He left the US and is now based in England. His best friends are Gab and Harry, who he met at Harvard, and are rich in their own ways and are both owners of football teams among other businesses. Because of this they are not supposed to fraternize together, but they have a special bond so they often meet in secret. Chase is at the wedding of his friends Ru and Nate when he meets Noah Ellington, a literary agent for ANC. Everyone wants Chase to write an autobiography and they suggest he talks to Noah about seeing how to go about it. Noah goes into the library at Shelton Hall where the wedding is taking place and is in awe of what he sees. His degree is in book preservation and he especially loves old books and is thrilled to see the many first editions there. Chase comes in and startles him and they then have a conversation about the book where Noah tells him that he can write about any part of his life and to think about the story he wants to tell. This excites Chase and he meets with him at his office a few weeks later. Cordelia, Noah’s boss, sees Chase and suggests that he might want a more senior agent that can look at him properly but Chase defends Noah and says they are friends and he wants him to represent him. Cordelia is not happy about this and issues a subtle threat to Noah about his other clients. They almost kiss when they leave the office but Noah stops it because his contract states he can’t have a relationship with a client and Chase sees it as a rejection. He calls Gab, Harry, and Tristan, Harry’s husband, and they fly to see him at his castle the next day where he tells them all that has happened and they give him advice. Meanwhile he and Noah are texting and possibly flirting which sends Noah to the castle. He meets Chase’s friends but they leave them the next morning. Chase shows him around his castle which he is very proud of, especially the library, and then they talk about his book. He asks Noah to stay a few more days to discuss it and he also decides he wants to woo him. This leads to a kiss but this time Noah tells him why it can’t go further because he can’t risk his career on a fling. They talk about ways they could change this and why Noah is staying with his company and also that Chase might want to invest in an agency Noah leads. He also tells him that it’s not a fling for him and he wants to be in a committed relationship. They kiss when Noah leaves as they both have a lot to think about. Noah is helping one of his clients, Rafe, with his book tour, and Noah’s dad is a lawyer so he asks him to look at his contract to see if there is a loophole where he can date a client. Rafe’s father is also a lawyer and when they meet for dinner he also looks at it and they see something that may help him keep his clients if he does leave the agency and form his own. Something happens with Cordelia that leads Noah to quit and for Chase to start his investment with him. This also leads to a hot love scene. Then Chase sets him up with his own office in his building and he also gets a PA and starts looking for more clients as well as taking care of the ones who came with him. The problem is that he wants to be his own boss and earn his way so he is in constant work mode and sees less and less of Chase. This finally comes to a head when Chase whisks him away on his yacht where they have a shouting match until Chase finally calms him down and they talk through everything that has been going on. Chase tells him about his family and how he has been alone a long time but he doesn’t feel alone any more with Noah and this leads them to know they love each other. I really enjoyed this book. Chase seems to have his life together and likes helping people, as shown by investing in small businesses. He falls for Noah from the moment he meets him and doesn’t know what to do so gets his friends involved. Noah is quiet and nervous but knows what he is doing and seems to be infatuated with Chase also. But he has worked hard and doesn’t want to risk losing his job so he keeps him at arm’s length. As they work on Chase’s book, they get to know each other even better and realize they want to be together. Starting his own company with Chase’s help lets them do this, and even with the problem of Noah working too hard, they figure out how to do this and are happy together. It was fun to see Gab, Harry, Tristan, and Rafe, who played a big part in the story, in this one because I had read about them in previous books. The household staff as well as Cordelia were also involved. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like stories about a billionaire who finally meets his match in a younger geeky man, how they help each other with a few bumps in the road, and finally find happiness and love together.

We’ve meet our MCs (separately) in The Himbo and the Lord, and book two opens en route to Nate and Rupert’s over the top bachelor getaway. In Ibiza. Nate has know family friend Chase forever, and he met Noah when they were both pursuing advanced degrees at Oxford.
Chase and Noah meet again at the wedding, and the promise of viewing rare first editions and potentially helping Chase negotiate a book deal continue to draw them together.
Chase is a silver fox, successful, but never settled down. His backstory proves money isn’t everything, and no one can break you like a family member. He may have had a trust fund, but his success was 100% his own.
I’ve loved Noah ever since Jem introduced him as a sweet, bow-tie wearing aspiring literary agent in It Takes Three to Tango. His work situation is not great, but he has a strong set of professional ethics. No matter how attractive he finds Chase… This sets the stage for some glorious pining.
This is a slow-burn age gap and has fun with a running joke that Noah likes ancient things.
Noah grew up,comfortable, his father being a lawyer. But Chase’s lifestyle and that of his friends is a bit overwhelming. Noah likes baked beans on toast; Chase owns a castle.
But it’s Chase’s equally high achieving college friends who convince him to take his shot. (Note to self: make sure to check out Harrison and Tristan’s story,) And the back from their honeymoon newlyweds are also ready to play matchmaker.
When they become business as well as personal partners, things really heat up.
I did enjoy how well Chase looked after Noah, knowing from experience the signs of burning out. A secret escape, top tier caretaker vibes, and shared sunsets set the stage for a great HEA.
And do yourself a favor and download the bonus epilogue. It includes a scenes I’d been hoping for and brings everything full circle. Don’t miss it.

Jem Wendel and Hinsel Meyer delivered such a fun, lighthearted romance with The Billionaire and the Geek. This was one of those easy, comforting reads that leaves you smiling the whole way through.

I really enjoyed Noah and Chase together. Their chemistry felt natural from the start, but I loved that they didn’t rush into things immediately. Watching them circle each other, flirt, pine a little, and slowly give in to the attraction was so satisfying.

Noah was such a relatable character with all the pressure he puts on himself to succeed, while Chase balanced him perfectly with his attentiveness, patience, and constant support. Chase is honestly such a green flag partner. I loved how much he believed in Noah even when Noah doubted himself.

Their shared interests and banter made their relationship feel really genuine too. Noah’s love for ancient things and Chase’s complete fascination with Noah because of it was adorable. The flirting between them was playful and sweet without losing the emotional connection underneath it.

I also appreciated that the story didn’t stop once they got together. We actually got to see them navigating busy schedules, work pressures, and everyday relationship moments, which made everything feel more grounded and real.

The supporting cast and returning characters from previous books added so much warmth and fun to the story as well. The friendships, teasing, and overall vibes of this world just make it such an enjoyable place to spend time in.

A sweet and comforting romance with age-gap vibes, yearning, supportive partners, and plenty of charm.

I always enjoy the individual works of these two authors and together they created an engaging tale of the developing love between a silver fox billionaire and an “ordinary” young(er) literary agent, drawn together by great chemistry and a love for ancient things. The story develops naturally as Noah and Chase meet to discuss a possible work relationship while trying to figure out if either is interested in the other in a non-work way. I liked the way Noah was not terribly intimidated by Chase’s lifestyle, fitting in pretty easily, and I enjoyed the appearance of characters from previous books from these authors, especially Gab from Hinsel’s world. The process that Noah engaged in with Chase to decide on what the book he might write would be about was interesting, as it changed from the original autobiography idea into a topic that really got Chase excited about the project. I also liked Chase’s solution to Noah’s workaholic attitude and his subsequent exhaustion. He was late to the love game, but committed wholeheartedly to his love and care for Noah, wise enough to know when to back off or step in. The book had me smiling many times, and I had a feeling of satisfaction for where they were at the end. I want to go back and catch up on the books from each author of the related secondary characters that played important parts in this book, just to inhabit this world again. There is something truly fun about reading the varying levels of two men pining and avoiding each other. In this age-gap romance, we get to meet more of Noah and Ru's inner circle. While this is a delightful story, it is best enjoyed after reading book 1 IMHO. Now back to Chase and Noah, it is hilarious to read them work to convince themselves not to think of or dream about the other man. Both have many of the same reservations about each other, but the rest of their lives seem to align almost seamlessly. But those things like age, class difference, working closely together, and having mutual friends that they see often cast a shadow on what could be. However, love has a way of pushing through all of those barriers for the right partner. One notion neither MMC is willing to face is that they are absolutely worthy of each other despite their differences. Wanting and being wanted are two difficult feelings, as they can leave you raw and vulnerable, but when you find someone who wants to love you as deeply as you love them, it is the most perfect balance of feelings. This story is full of bookish, nerdy banter, meddling besties, horrible company policies and coworkers, someone who believes in you wholeheartedly, and a HEA that would make most quite envious of their love.

This book is part of the Love on the Flip Side series and each book is a standalone read. If you are looking for a fun and lighthearted read, look no further. This is the book for you. The book features Chase Knightly and Noah Ellington. Both are best friends of Nate and Ru; who were featured in the earlier book. The two meet during wedding preparations for Nate and Ru. Both are instantly attracted to each other but each believe that the other would never be interested in them. Luckily there is the possibility of a memoire story to get them both together. Noah works at a book publishers while Chase is the CEO of Knight-In. Chase is successful and likes to help other small businesses get off the ground. Needing help with the possibility of writing a memoire, he turns to Noah for help. This is their story. The book is well written and easy to read. I received an advanced review copy of this book from the authors and I am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked how slow and careful Chase and Noah were with each other. Their shared passions really helped cement their relationship. Their total support for one another just jumped off the page. I really enjoyed this book. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Age-gap MM romance with passion and surprises
This is a passionate story but not as explicit as some gay romances that I have read which appealed to me. There are more furtive glances, stammering cuteness and sweet but suggestive banter than explicit scenes of intimacy. That is not to say there are none...wink.
At the bachelor party for Ru and Nate (from the last book in this series), Chase Knightly a 53yo billionaire who is a very successful venture capitalist meets the sweet but sometimes awkward geek, Noah Ellington who is at least twenty years Chase’s junior. There is a click between them but nothing comes of it. Then at the wedding they meet again and maybe something happens this time. In the meantime, Chase has been approached to write his autobiography and knowing that Noah is a book agent, Chase takes this opportunity to get better acquainted. It works! All is not smooth sailing but read this entertaining love story to see for yourself. If you like a wee bit of angst in your gay romance plus sweet but suggestive banter with secretive looks of yearning, read this one. I am sure you will enjoy it. The Billionaire and the Geek is the second book in the Love On The Flip Side series.

It is a series of standalone yet interconnected books.

Chase, a multimillionaire, is friends with Ru and Nate, the protagonists of the first book. At a bachelor party in Ibiza, he meets Noah, who is many years his junior, but he finds himself drawn to him. Noah is a literary agent, connected to another of Jem’s characters, Rafe, who makes a cameo in the book.

Chase is considering writing his autobiography, so his contact with Noah, despite the attraction, is purely professional at first.

Although it is low-angst, there is a touch of longing, because the rules of Noah’s literary agency do not allow him to have romantic relationships with clients.

I really enjoyed it; Chase is such a sweet bloke, and Noah can be a bit stubborn at times, but he’s lovely.

I do like it when characters from the authors’ other books make an appearance; it gives a sense of a shared universe, and it’s nice to see them again.

This is a solid billionaire romance, not necessarily your average billionaire as the Geek is here a solid guy with a career and very much on his own feet and knows what he doesn't want - Chase's money without a proper agreement in place.
It's also a fairly large age gap with 20 years.

Noah is a great character, feeling older than his end-twenties and definitely not anywhere in Chase's normal circle of friends. Both connect via Chase's mulling about writing a book and Noah's job as a literacy agent. I love how Noah is putting his principals about his professional career above his feelings despite both realising the attraction between them.

Chase is also hardly your pampered billionaire, there is quite a lot to him which unravels as they work on the book.

It takes a while for them to get together, there are some hurdles to overcome but the build-up feels natural and is drama free and low angst on a personal level.

I love having the cameos from Hinsel and Jem's books, these characters are just great.

Age gap where they fail to hide their attraction

This was a sweet story. Two men from different backgrounds brought together by friends in a ploy to get Chase to write his autobiography. Noah is a book agent who typically helps clients find publishing houses.

The attraction between these two is immediate and it was fun to read their back and forth between keeping it professional and the want to do dirty things together.

Chase has everything he ever wanted except a partner to share it with. He certainly never expected the man he wanted would be 20 years younger. Once he decided what he wanted was Noah for both his agent and his partner he was determined to find a way to make it work.

Noah is driven and determined to beat all expectations even to his own detriment. I loved how Chase cared for Noah in ever aspect. The way he decided to force him to rest was genius.

I think this might have been even better if I had read the other stories. I enjoyed it as an easy low conflict read.

I hadn’t read the first in this series, and it doesn’t feel like I needed to, but I’ve added it to my TBR.

This is Chase and Noah’s age gap story - there’s about 20 years between them and Chase is in his 50’s, as well as being a billionaire. Good to see an older character as an MC, and though Noah is meant to be the geek, I think Chase has a bit of geek in him too. They’re both a little awkward with and around each other at first.

It moves quite slowly, there’s lots of build up before the two finally kiss (almost 50% in before a proper one) - and it’s a cute intro - before settling into both a personal and working relationship and some small bumps along the way.

I read this really quickly - just about all of it in one evening - the writing is effortless and I barely realised how fast I was getting through it.

If you’re after a quick, easy, sweet, goofy MM read, give this a go.

When Chase gets asked to write his autobiography, Nate knows his best friend Noah may be able to offer some advice. Noah new to the literacy world, knows having Chance on his books, would do his career wonders, but working with him means no to romance.
I really enjoyed this book following Chase as he gets to grips with the literacy world, whilst working on a plan to have a relationship with Noah. Noah a man of integrity, never once seeing Chase for his money, treating him exactly as he would his other clients, hard working, doing his best for an employer who did not deserve him. Fighting the relationship until he couldn't. The lengths Chase goes to to get his man and seeing them get their HEA
Cameo's from other stories seeing how they are all living their best life. Getting to know more about Harrison, Theo's dad, Theo's story I have just finished and now looking forward to reading This Is On You, Harrison's story.

Age gap billionaire romance

I adore Hinsel's books and love Jem's Dance Lovers Collection series. Together they're producing more magic and this is a nice follow up to The Himbo And The Lord. I loved Ru and Nate they appear here too.
Hinsel's Chase and Jem's Noah debuted as side characters in earlier books and now they get their own romance, and what a sweet one it is. Billionaire Chase and literary agent Noah are perfect for each other but there's an obstacle in the way. It takes a while for them to navigate work, new beginnings and a relationship but when they get there, the chemistry is off the charts and love quickly follows.
I loved both men and their romance was an easy read. There are cameos from MCS and side characters from both authors' work. Gab is always a welcome bonus, as are Harrison and Tristan, but they're not the only ones you'll see.
I'm looking forward to whoever is next.

Noah & Chase meet when they attend Ru & Nate’s (bk1, The Himbo & The Lord) batchelor party. Though slow burn, there is an instant connection, but it is forbidden due to Noah's current job. Chase & Noah are drawn together, but Noah is determined to remain professional. When they come together, it is full of both heat and heart.

Both Noah and Chase Knightly are friends with Nate and Ru and met briefly at their bachelor’s party in Ibiza but only get to know each other when Nate proposes they discuss Chase’s pending Biography…

This is where they try and fight the attraction as Noah’s literary agency he works for has the no fraternisation with author’s policy… however Chase does have a plan….

I loved their bantering, flirting emails and how well they fit together no matter the age gap!

This is a sweet, lighthearted love story about how they navigate pining, rejection, starting a new business, work and social pacing and finding the ultimate success in life together!

I look forward to the next book of the series by these two amazing women!

Chase and Noah are several years in age apart. Noah is a literary agent and Chase is an entrepreneur. The attraction is there although each is hesitant to go there for his own reasons. Once they get nudged by well meaning friends they really are the complement each needs in his personal and professional life. Noah is the respectful person that Chase needs to help him tell a story that helps him reconcile some of the hurts that continue to exist in the way he was treated when he decided to live his truth. Chase is the person who helps Noah to understand his value and how the persons he is working for are not being respectful of him. They each allow the other to grow. There are growing pains but ultimately, as they deal with each of these growing pains they come through in a better place each time for the lesson. Their story was enjoyable as much for the journey as the outcome.

I absolutely adored Chase and Noah. Their instant pull to one another and their chemistry is absolutely perfection. I love how Chase is willing and able to help Noah achieve his dreams and how true Noah stays to himself and continues to work hard to achieve them. I also really enjoyed that while there is a larger age gap it didn’t create any unnecessary angst within the characters.

Having read everything both Jem and Hinsel have published I was constantly squealing at seeing so many different characters from across both of their worlds, but I think the loudest came for Gab!! I will always love her BAB energy. But getting to catch up with Nate and Ru, Harry and Tristan, Rafe, Carter, Iris and others was great, I love cameos and crossovers so much!!

An excellent age gap romance with two men from very different sides of life.
I always find it interesting to read the rich/poor trope, not that Noah is poor, but he definitely doesn't have Chase's money, or life experience. I enjoyed how their relationship developed but especially how Noah stays strong, determined to not blur the lines when it comes to working together and romance.
What I really liked was reading how Noah deals with things after their big moment, because it's not all smooth sailing when things are so different for you both.
Getting to see Gab, from Hinsel's books is always a treat and we have some cameo's from a couple of Jem's characters as well.
Another great read in this series and I can't wait to read more!

This was a really quick, fast paced read.

Chase is a billionaire who has built his company from the ground up, he successful, handsome and lonely. Noah is a literary agent who is young, just starting out and also handsome. They met through mutual friends and the attraction is almost instant.

I felt that there were areas the book could have explored a little more, yet the pacing and those areas didn't take away from the actual book. I also love seeing the side characters from other books and it made me realize I haven't read a lot of Jem's books, but I love Hinsel and have read all of their books. Their partnership seems to work really well because this is a great book.

Thank you for the book; here is my honest opinion:
3.5⭐️Billionaires romances are a hard sell for me, honestly and they can often feel quite like fairytales. This one is maybe a little more grounded and Chase is more likable than many billionaire characters I have come across. This was a nice age gap romance, very measured, and a bit slow moving- lots of longing glances and fretting about blurring professional and personal lines. This was intentional and more quiet style of romance, low on spice but Chase and Noah are really appealing characters- and it’s always a highlight when Gab shows up.

A great age-gap and wage-gap story. A chance meeting leaves a lasting impression, so when they meet again, and Chase needs some literary advice, it’s natural for both men to say yes.

As they navigate Chase writing book, they also navigate their building emotions and the element of their ages and wealth. Not to mention Noah’s career desires and struggles, coupled with his fear of Chase stepping in to ‘save him’ with his money.

Thankfully, they both listen to each other, even if there are some bumps along the way, taking care to love and support, and they eek out a bright, beautiful future.

I love that Noah likes old things. That doesn't necessarily mean Chase, it's more that he likes old books and antiques and that kind of thing. Chase is the handsome older man who Noah meets at their mutual friends' wedding. Being that Noah is a literary agent and Chase is thinking about writing his autobiography (sort of) of course they discuss that. There's so much for them to get through but they find their way to each other, overcoming many obstacles along the way. A really lovely read that feels like the part of a bigger world that it is, but works brilliantly on its own. Lovely.

Noah’s obsession with old things, especially antique and classic books, is so endearing. So it only feels like fate when he meets Chase, a gorgeous older guy at a mutual friend’s wedding.

With Noah working as a literary agent and Chase looking to write his memoir, the connection was instantaneous. It was the perfect way to start a conversation and get to know each other.

It’s definitely a journey for them and they have to clear some major hurdles before they can finally be together, but it’s definitely worth it.

Once again, Jem and Hinsel know how to make magic together and this book proves it. Definitely a must read.

This was another fun and quick read from this duo. I read it in two sessions. I loved the characters and their dynamic. There's a power imbalance and age gap, but the relationship felt organic. Chase definitely goes out of his way to make sure Noah feels comfortable. There's some cameos from Wendel and Meyer's other books. The list of the secondary characters books was a nice touch, and I'm definitely going to have to check out Rafe's book (the only one on the list I haven't read yet).

Nate tries to put Noah, a literary agent together with Chase, an older billionaire who needs to write a book. It's instalove with an age gap and wealth difference. Noah is honest, ethical and sincere, only hesitant about professionism and Chase's prestige. Chase is head over heels and wants to help Noah reach his potential. It's a sharing of lessons learned from a wiser perspective coached in love and adoration. Lower heat but love the characters. I received a copy of this and this is my voluntary opinion.

This was a cute fun read. Both Noah and Chase were great! I loved Noah’s love for ancient things and Noah’s enjoyment in being that for him! The banter between these two was great and I enjoyed their flirty behavior. Chase was so supportive of Noah and believed in him when he doubted his capabilities as an agent. It was sweet how much they cared for one another and I had a great time reading this!

Love me an Age Gap romance and this one is not an exception.
Chase and Noah are Nate's and Ru's(from book one The Himbo and the Lord)friends though we met Noah briefly in Jem Wendel's book It Takes Three to Tango as Rafe's literary agent.
You can expect funny moments, lots of feeelings, cameos of both authors's characters(love seeing them and see how their lives are going after their HEAS) and obviously a deeply satisfying HEA for Chase and Noah
