Four alphas. One omega. And a virus that could end us all.
The virus should’ve stayed in the lab. Instead, it’s tearing through the shifter population. I’m expected to stop it. As a geneticist, I believe in science. Not destiny. Not fated mates. Not the fire that ignites in my blood when they are near me.
Onyx was the first—Alpha, furious, magnetic. Evan bought the place—billionaire, manipulative, impossible to resist. Leo, the cop, was sent to protect me. He ended up breaking all his rules. And Axl? That rock star kissed me like I was the melody he couldn’t stop playing. They each pull at something inside me. Something wild. Something Omega.
When the military finds out what I am, they want to use me to breed a new generation of super soldiers. Now, I’m not just a scientist, I’m a target.
And if my Alphas don’t come for me soon, I won’t be the cure… I’ll be the weapon.
A Wild Ride in the World of Shifters: A Review of Claimed by Four Alphas From the moment I cracked open Claimed by Four Alphas, I was swept into a fast-paced, steamy, and undeniably wild ride through a shifter world on the brink. I received an ARC from the author for an honest review, and what I found was a book that delivers on its promise of excitement, intrigue, and a healthy dose of paranormal romance.
The story centers on Dr. Dahlia Baldwin, a brilliant geneticist racing against time to find a cure for the devastating Crimson Plague, a virus rapidly decimating the shifter population. Her world, already fraught with scientific urgency, is turned upside down by a chance encounter with Onyx, an Alpha Wolf whose presence ignites an unexpected awakening within her. What follows is a whirlwind of events as Dahlia finds herself protected by Leo, a Bear shifter detective, her research funded by Evan, a half-human, half-wolf, and entertained by Axl, the charismatic rockstar wolf.
This book is a whirlwind of action and reveals, told through multiple POVs that keep the narrative zipping along. It's an omegaverse reverse harem paranormal romance that doesn't shy away from its steamy elements. As the characters navigate a web of lies and secrets, they uncover a dangerous military experiment that threatens not only their lives but the entire shifter world. Their desperate race to find a cure and prevent shifters from being weaponized forms the thrilling core of the plot.
While the book's rapid pace made for a quick and engaging read, there were moments when I felt a little lost, as if certain connective threads were missing. I would have appreciated a deeper exploration of the burgeoning relationships between the characters; at times, it felt more like a series of sexual encounters rather than a development of emotional bonds. Similarly, given Dahlia's crucial role as a geneticist, I found myself wishing for more detailed scenes of her research process.
Despite these minor points, Claimed by Four Alphas was an undeniably fun read. It certainly made me chuckle at times, and the intriguing premise kept me turning pages late into the night. For readers who enjoy a high-octane, steamy paranormal romance with a unique twist on the omegaverse trope, this book is definitely worth picking up.
The kindle version is unreadable. Audible has it with a virtual voice, but I don't like virtual voice reading.
This is just one paragraph on the second page, and the rest of the book is the same:
"Ferhaps you should consider... alternative funding sources." The way he says it maHes my sHin crawl. "ziHe BlacHthorn Biotech?" I asH. Ee doesn't respond. "’ou Hnow what? …orget it. I'll handle this myself"
a new author for me i very much enjoyed this unconventional story about a scientist Dahlia who at 32 discovers she's an omega by going into heat suddenly. One by one she mates with 4 different alphas that enter her life but they are not happy finding out about each other. Meanwhile an evil mastermind is out to capture Dahlia and force her to become part of his evil plans to control shifters while Dahlia works to find a cure for a terrible virus killing shifters. Each alpha tries to protect Dahlia and keep her safe but she is kidnapped and they must work together to save her. and if they survive what is to become of them afterwards, can an omega bond with 4 alphas and can the men learn to put jealousy aside to love Dahlia and make their own family together as a group? a thrilling story where danger lurks everywhere, and where 4 alpha men can't keep one female omega from doing what she wants with each of them. Where one feisty stubborn sexy female turns their worlds upside down. A story that proves that for the sake of the love of one special woman they will risk everything including their lives to protect and save her and that maybe just maybe they can come together to make something special when they each have to claim her in order to save her life. richly detailed and well developed characters each with a unique, distinct personality. good descriptions and world building and great character development of Dahlia. She was no push over and stood on business. Nice to see a strong, super intelligent female lead character who doesn't just crumple when faced with a sudden heat, 4 strong sexy endowed alphas, and a virus killing shifters. Also loved seeing the differing personalities of each man and how they evolved as the story developed. they showed vulnerability with strength, care and concern with compromise and ultimately respect thru jealousy and situational stress. I received an arc copy from booksprout and this is my honest voluntary review.
Dahlia is trying to find a cure for the Crimson plague which is killing shifters. When her work is stolen and her funding is cut, the person who steps in is someone she doesn't like Evan Blackthorn.
When Dahlia discovers something about herself, it shocks her, how and why has this happened? Four Aplhas circle around Dahlia, each needing something from her. Onyx, needs her help for his cousin Mara who has the plague. Detective Leo Byers, who is her protection detail. Axl the lead singer of Exedra instantly connects with Dahlia at the concert she attended, and Evan Blackthorn himself who has been attracted to her from the very start.
Dahlia is dealing with the stress of trying to find a cure, trying to deal with the changes her body is going through, and on top of it all are four possessive Alphas. But when new information comes to light can Dahlia forgive that person for withholding vital documentation that would have helped her sooner?
Can the four men play nice together and share Dahlia, so she doesn't have to choose, or will possessiveness and ego destroy what could be a great relationship?

This was a wild reading ride by a new-to-me author. We follow scientist, Dahlia, as she's working on a cure for a disease hitting only shifters. Four alpha males enter her world, and one by one, she falls for each of them. I found it fun that none of the males were happy about each other bonding with her ;P With suspense, danger, mystery, twists, tender emotions and hot chemistry, this was a gripping read for me. I loved how smart Dahlia was and that she was also strong. She stood for what she believed in and didn't cave when it mattered. Definitely a page turner and a wonderful RH romance! I'm looking forward to what's next by this author :D
-A steamy, suspenseful, and satisfying omegaverse romance with a strong heroine at its heart. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts. Dahlia’s world explodes when she discovers she’s an omega—and every alpha wants her. With a deadly virus, political intrigue, and four possessive men, tension runs high. The heat is intense, but so is the emotional depth and action-packed drama. Onyx, Evan, Leo, and Axl each bring their own strengths and contributions. I love the surprise at the end.
The book I’m reviewing today is titled, Claimed by Four Alphas which is the first installment of The Omegaverse Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance Book Series written by Fiona Black. I thought this book to have an intriguing story line and it had me glued in from the start. The steam in this story is as hot and abundant throughout the story. The writer crafted an intriguing story with unexpected twists and turns that I did not see coming.

I love omegaverses, especially when the alphas are *chef's kiss* and compatible. Delilah is working on finding the cure for a virus that is taking out the shifter population. And then she finds out she's an omega that has been dormant and is then pursued by shifters: two wolves, a bear, and a half human/half wolf hybrid. Pair that with action and suspense and you have one heck of a story.
Seriously, you had me at the title. Definitely recommend!
Ooooh this was a fun ride! Lemme go find the rest of the books in this series because Dahlia and her guys are a hot AF bunch!
No joke, Hammond's plans for Dahlia, her Alphas, their potential children, and the wider shifter population, not to mention all the crimes he clearly committed before? Yeah, that ran my blood cold. And then his own misogynistic and perverted commentary had me ready to snatch his vile soul through his nose.
That was a hot and wild ride. So much happening. I could picture Delilah and everything she went through and everything she did. When I started this book, I was really curious how she got the 4 Alphas. I do wish we could have found it who the leak(s) were. Damn good book. I read this super fast. I couldn't put it down.
This book was so good! I loved it. I did not want to put it down! Dahlia is a smart and sassy female lead. She is one lucky woman though! 4 Guys ?!?!? Onyx, Evan, Leo and Axl add to how amazingly spice this book is. It had a great plot that helped move this story along. It was so well written that I was attached to this story. I definitely recommend!
With this unique plot, Fiona Black brings her characters to a realm of complexity and weaponization of scientific discovery. It was steamy as well as intriguing. I was entertained by the overall plot and found it enjoyable to read.

I enjoyed this spin of creating a new pack. Taking from the Omega deciding who she wants and desires. Loved how the forming of the pack came about. Different shifter species coming together were nicely thought-out and created by the author. Will be adding the author to my to be followed list.
Wonderful read that is full of action, thoroughly enjoyed and recommend the read to others that enjoy Alpha and Omega drama.
With the red most killing and infecting this group of four Alphas and their scientist omega searching for a cure, little soul they know how important they each will be.
A Dr working to find a cure for a powerful shifter disease gets her funding cut (by 80%). She storms into the office of a man she believes has a hand in her funding cut. Her body reacts to him but her brain keeps her semi-professional. Then her house is broken into by an alpha needing help with the cure for his cousin, but her body begins reacting again.
I would love to have read this book, But whoever printed out the paragraphs did not Recheck the spelling of the words. Most of the words are just letters and you can't even figure out what word they're supposed to be. Hope a new book comes out that I can read the word s.
Excellent paranormal reverse harem. Brilliant scientist Dahlia is trying to find the cure for a disease killing numerous shifters. There are four alphas, two wolves, a bear and a hybrid all vying for her. If they don’t work together evil will get her as well. Action packed, steamy romantic suspense story. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books by Ms. Black.
WOW! What an incredible ride! The chemistry is smoking hot! I love the mind blowing twists and heart hammering developments! There’s such a sweet tenderness to it also! I absolutely love it! Swoon!!!
Boring. Story was all over the place. I have read other shifter books that were fabulous and couldn’t put down. Unfortunately this is not one of them. I had to force myself to finish it. I don’t like giving bad reviews but book unfortunately deserves it.
Due to the author insisting to change the letters of words its a bit hard to read and I could only read it when I felt good and had the energy to read it . otherwise the story was entertaining .
This was the worst book I tried to read and I mean tried. Most of it was a bunch of letters put together which made no sense. It was a bunch of letters put together by someone who was drunk or high. Might be a good idea to get someone to actually proof read the book first before printing it.
I started reading this book on my kindle and immediately was annoyed at all of the spelling mistakes. I could understand what the author was trying to say but I just can’t read an entire book without getting frustrated with the lack of editing.
I was looking forward to reading this book on KU but it is unreadable. Every sentence has a typo, lots of times more than one. It is possible to figure out what it is supposed to say but I felt like that was too much work. I really wish I could read this book. It sounds like it is a good book.
Could not read because no one proofed this book. Not a fan of a three year old must have okayd this book. Surely any adult would have fixed this as o it would be readable.
