A make-up book with ideas, tips and makeovers from Cindy Crawford. The basics of any makeover is covered with a detailed look at every part of the face. Professional secrets are shared (like the best powder brushes are to be found in paint shops), and tips on glamorous party looks provided.
Pretty good remedial guide to applying makeup with all the bases covered: brushes, eye makeup, facial makeup and all the rest. The person that loaned me this book said, "First you read Cindy Crawford, then you move up to Kevyn Aucoin". Word!
P.S. Some of Cindy's advice is presented in comic book format for those of you who spend more time taking foxy selfies and collecting friends on Goodreads than you do actually reading books.
If you know Zip about make up, this is a good book to read. Being nearly 40 & never having worn make up, I discovered this book on a free table at my local recycling depot.Timeless advice on how to give yourself a natural looking makeover. Perfect for old Ladies getting back into the workforce.
Who better than Cindy Crawford than to put out a book on making up your face? I thought the photography was beautiful and that the steps were clear and concise. I especially liked the tip about putting on concealer after foundation.
I didn't find it that interesting. I think it's an easy skip before you move on to Bobbi Brown, Kevyn Aucoin, Scott Barnes, or many other talented artists.
