Save yourself. I don’t know if all 258 reviews are ARC readers that felt compelled to lie or what, but that was genuinely painful. Everything about it was cringe. I still don’t full understand the plot or what one thing had to do with the other. I’m left thinking wtf did I just read. I had 16 pages left and still considered DNFing the book.

this is a dark irish mafia romance, chocolate factory sex club, bdsm game of survival, single mom, cheating (not between main characters), hidden identity, kidnapping, torture, violence, time jump, filthy smut, ice play, blood play, dub con, duo pov, and interconnected standalone 💜
charlotte was taken at the age of 18 and was forced to marry an asshole name vlad in order to keep her father safe. vlad completely took her life from her and she never got to experience freedom. she was in an abusive marriage and trained to kill for him. when she was given the task to kill someone, she spent a few days in italy to complete it. there she meets declan 🥹 they immediately hit it off from the moment the met. more like she punched him in the dick but 💀😂 declan couldn’t help but get lost in her. charlotte gave into the feelings and let herself be free even if it was just one night. but when she finds out the one she was supposed to kill ends up being the one person that made her feel alive shit goes down hill 👀
the time jump was such a shocker omg 🫣 my jaw was on the floor when isabella showed up !! i couldn’t stop crying from then throughout the rest of this book. charlotte has been through so much in her life. she’s such a strong and badass bitch i fucking love her 😩 and declan … good lord i’m down bad 🧎🏻♀️ the man literally has a chocolate factory where he hosts bdsm games 😭 pick me. choose me. love me. i swear i was just picturing this damn factory and hyping myself up that i would be able to make it out alive (legs would be trembling like bambi however LOL) !! declan is hot and filthy and just oh so yummy. i can’t get enough of charlotte and declan. they’re going to be on my mind for a long time 🖤
this gave absolutely everything and luna delivered !! ugh i wish i could read this for the first time again 🥰 i loved every single thing about this. the little moments with isabella made me cheese so hard my cheeks hurt ☺️ isabella coloring declan’s tattoos ?!!?? i sobbed. this family is so beautiful. the other characters have me so intrigued omg !! i literally can not wait to see what’s coming up next in this new series 😍 it makes me want to reread the beneath universe so bad 😮💨
i fear conan’s primal play and running through the woods ass is going to be the death of me 👀 i would gladly volunteer as tribute 🙋🏻♀️

I had the pleasure of ARC reviewing this Luna Mason masterpiece, Inferno. Luna continues to leave me flabbergasted with her work.
The first interaction between Charlotte and Declan was EVERYTHING - their instantaneous chemistry 🔥, the sexual tension 🥵, even the comedy was phenomenal. I enjoyed seeing the relationship between the Quinn brothers, and the glimpse of Conan leaves me in absolute anticipation for his book, too. Charlotte was an absolute badass and the BEST mom; I loved the reaction when everyone found out that Declan had a daughter, and the daddy-daughter moments between the two.

I FLEW through this book! The amount of suspense was crazy and I could NOT put it down. The MFC was such a badass and I loved it, I think that’s uncommon for a mafia romance. The spice was amazing but the plot was even better.

I'm not sure what happened, I started this book, got about 70% through and life happened. I'm happy that I ended up in jury duty yesterday, so I had time to finally finish a couple of the books I had left unfinished!
Luna's creativity in the Chocolate Factory is something that I never imagined reading about, ever! Some of it is cringe worthy, but other parts are absolutely spice-tastic!
Charlotte is one of the fiercest FMC I have read about in a while. She is brave, determined, strong, and in dire need of her HEA. Declan was made for Charlotte. The two of them make up this fantastic, yet sometimes tragic love story. My heart melted in the end when Declan declares, "I love you for exactly the woman you are now, and whoever you become. I'm ready for the ride, heartbreaker, wherever it may take us."
The book is an action-packed Irish mafia dark romance that kept you guessing what would happen next. I'm not always a fan of the enemies to lover's storyline, but this one is different, in a decadent way. Enjoy!

This book has been one of my most anticipated releases this year, and it did not disappoint. The tropes, the setting, the plot — everything was just perfect.
Charlotte is such a strong, badass woman. Hardened by life’s struggles, she was exactly the kind of spy FMC I was craving. Her fiery, murderous personality felt so similar to mine, and I absolutely loved her for it. Declan, on the other hand, was completely gone from the first time he met his little heartbreaker — my boy was down bad for her.
Charlotte is definitely getting added to the list of characters I strongly relate to. That feeling of being trapped and desperately wanting to escape hit way too close to home. And Declan... a man who reads to learn how to pleasure his woman? The ultimate book boyfriend. Ahh, Declan was decadent. He was like the chocolate in his own chocolate factory because everything he said and did was so damn sweet.
I felt so bad for Charlotte. She suffered so much, yet she’s a survivor through and through — fighting tooth and nail just for a chance at life. Honestly, I believe Declan was her reward for all that misery. His dedication and devotion were everything. I loved his character so much; he had this gruff, rough-around-the-edges exterior, but when it came to the people he loved, he was pure softness.
Even when he claimed to hate Charlotte, you could feel he never really did. All he ever wanted was her and a chance at a life together. Everyone deserves to have someone who protects them, and Declan was that person for Charlotte.
Also, can we talk about his bond with Isabella? Cutest thing ever. I couldn’t help but tear up during their scenes. The comfort and safety Declan provided gave Charlotte the freedom to be who she truly wanted to be. He didn’t just love her — he completed her.
The banter and bromance in Luna Mason’s books are always top-tier, and this one was no different. They made the story even more fun and addictive.
And the smut?? Had me screaming. The intricate, detailed writing helped me discover a few new fantasies of mine, hehehe. 😏
All in all, I had such a wonderful time reading this book. The glimpses of past characters from the other series were a treat, and Declan and Charlotte were the perfect addition. The ending had everything I wanted and was wrapped up so beautifully.

First half was fun and very promising. I was actually intrigued by the story esp with the dark charlie and the chocolate factory twist. Although idk what to make of the decadent games.
But them as usual the second half was a major let down. Suddenly the main characters were together and that’s all where the focus went. Plus i would have liked a little more of them and Isabella. Vlad even though was the villain felt like such a side kick ngl. He was sick and twisted whenever he was present in the story he simply just gave off a tough wannabe vibe.

Charlotte and Declan are pure fire together! This book was super H O T! I melted into a puddle and may have needed to cool off while reading. I may never look at a chocolate milkshake the same way again. IYKYK. I need the next book immediately. This was my first time reading a book by this author and I am hooked! I loved the storyline and how it was fast paced. It hooked me immediately and was hard to put down.

This book had me on my toes on every page.
The plot was amazing, it has twists and turns and held me captivated throughout. And this book is a chunky one! I could have easily read 500 pages more.
I loved all the bits we got from Conan, Finn and Enzo. The sibling banter was so fun, and I can’t wait for the rest of this series.
The instant chemistry and tension between Charlotte and Declan was soo good. Declan being obsessed from the first look and Charlotte rejecting him? Ugh, chefs kiss. So much fun!

This audiobook walked up to me, slammed me against a wall, and whispered, “Survive.” And honestly? I’m still shaking.
Inferno is hands down one of the darkest, filthiest, most unhinged erotic survival stories I’ve ever encountered. Fifty Shades of Grey if Christian was a feral apex predator. The Hunger Games if Katniss was traded for kink, blood, and dominance that borders on monstrous.
The Irish narrator (or someone terrifyingly good at the accent) absolutely wrecked me. That voice should come with a medical warning. Jesus Christ, the dominance. The control. The inevitability of it. I needed an ice bath, a therapist, and several long walks after this.
And listen. People die. A LOT. Sometimes for no emotionally meaningful reason. Which somehow makes it worse. This book does not care about fairness. It cares about survival, ownership, and power.
The kink list alone is enough to send your Kindle into witness protection. Temperature play, extreme BDSM, praise, breeding, orgasm denial, toys on toys on toys, knife play, pain-as-devotion-level stuff. This is not “dark romance lite.” This is dark romance, feral edition.

so disappointed
This book was not for me. I have loved all of her books & always could rely on them being good but this one was just wayyyy too dark for my likings. I couldn’t even get into the main couple because there was just too much going on & then smut…….. all of her other books you just loved & felt the connection with the couples - I didn’t feel it here. I personally hate miscommunication & enemies to lovers trope . Call me crazy but I also hate an annoying strong fmc but thought my girl Luna Mason could be the exception to this. I’ll probably continue the series but am so disappointed.

This book was absolutely everything. When you read the tropes you think you have an idea...but let me tell you, you truly don't. Luna wrote the most unique plot that had me feeling every single emotion.
Charlotte + Declan were absolutely everything. From their hilarious meet cute to their moment of being reunited. Like I said, one of the most unique plots, but also still containing some of the hottest spice ever. I really enjoy the revenge Plot trope and holy hell does Charlotte deserve her revenge for everything she endures. Declan is probably one of my now favorite morally grey golden retrievers. He is morally grey but would literally burn the world for her.
I cannot wait to continue this series with his brother Conan next. PR!mal Play you say ...yes please.

I was given the opportunity to read an ARC for this author! I love the books that Luna writes but this book, was next level in the best way!
The protectiveness of Declan was so 🔥 and the baddie Charlotte well they were "inferno" !
I won't get too in depth but this book is a solid 5 stars and in my opinion may be Lunas best yet! Can't wait to read the next one !

The chemistry from their first encounter really set the mood for this book and it was so freaking good! Luna is the queen of giving us delicious spice and this was no different! Charlotte has not had it easy since her 18th birthday and she is one strong MF queen. She’s been in survival mode for so long, but she is a fighter. So when a chance at an escapes comes with entering the Decadence games, she knows she has no choice but to try and win.
And then we have Declan…I would crawl for this man. I love how sweet he can be but I love when his kinky dominant side comes out to play too! And when these two are together, holy smokes!!! Straight FIRE with the spice!
I also loved getting glimpses of the brothers and some of our faves from other Luna books! Makes me super freaking excited to see where the rest of this series takes us!!

Charlotte is the epitome of a bada** FMC! She is fierce, witty, strong (emotionally and physically) so she’s basically everything we all adore in our FMC 🤩
Declan is top tier book boyfriend material 🔥 The banter he shares with his siblings gives us some comedic moments. The first time he meets Charlotte is hands down the best meet cute I’ve ever read 😂 He is the alpha male MMC and it isn’t just his words he’s talented with 🫠
This is a new style mafia story and I absolutely loved that we got something new and fun to spice up this perfect genre!

he’s basically just like the fmc’s abusive husband
the husband rapes and and beats and makes her do assassin work, this being one of the work, and the guy mmc controls such kind of club and makes these games of survival for woman that were forced there????

Her handler figured it out and before he could expose her, she ended him, but had to plant the weapon in Declan‘s room fast-forward five years and their beautiful evening. Give them a bundle of joy. that Declan knows nothing about Declan has become cold hearted and angry, but he can’t stop thinking about the evening he shared with Charlotte. Their bundle of joy is Declan’s twin and the sweetest thing in the world. Charlotte has emission the potentially get her and Isabella away from the monster of a husband she has. The mission once again is right back where she met Declan with the first time except for this time she has to play a game and she must win in order to meet the master. Declan and Charlotte’s path cross once again and this time he’s angry once he finally sat back and listens to what happened five years ago they figure out a way to fix it and eliminate her awful husband so they can start their life together.

This book was simply a masterpiece of creativity! Luna Mason never ceases to amaze me with her creative writing and storytelling. Inferno has become my favourite book of hers.
With this book, you get mafia, intensity, love, heartbreak, strength, resilience and some of the spiciest scenes all wrapped up in a chocolate factory setting.
Charlotte was the epitome of strength, resilience and an absolute queen! Never backing down from a challenge or a fight, she was fierce and fearless. A fighter like no other!
And then we have the Master of Decadence, Declan. This man was such a daddy! Strong, dominant, protective, this man proved time and time again that he would walk through fire for his girl. He talked the talk and walked the walk, never backing down and I was here for it!
From their first meeting, you could feel the chemistry and the connection they had and it was intense. From the scenes they created and the games they played, they brought out the best and filthiest out of each other. I will never look at a chocolate milkshake the same way ever again!
Inferno was definitely a decadent read and I absolutely recommend it!

Hands down one of THE most creative mafia romances I’ve ever had the opportunity to read! I mean Luna managed to turn Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory into a sexy, suspenseful, and thrilling ride! 😂 Never in my life did I think someone could create a loose rendition of that!
From page 1 I was sucked in and didn’t want to put the book down. The whole vision from which Decadence was created was hilarious and spicy! The banter is top notch and while there is a lot happening it’s still easy to follow along.
Luna makes you laugh, raises your cortisol levels to new highs, and makes you feel empathy all while creating the most unique and delicious experience through the Decadence Games. The whole concept is wild and artfully deceptive.
Then she throws in a feisty and strong FMC who is forced to become a spy/ assassin and a HOT Irish mobster who runs not only his family empire but now a “Chocolate factory” connected with some of the most powerful men in the world and one of the most elite BDSM clubs for those powerful people. I mean sign me right on up!
I absolutely cannot wait to continue this series and am buckled up for book 2!

The way I absolutely devoured this. It was the perfect amount of spice, plot, suspense & that kind of dark romance revenge that is so incredibly satisfying. Luna Mason never ever fails to have me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I’m also obsessed with Conan, and I think his book is next! This book was 500+ pages but it honestly FLEW by.
If you’re into dark romance and want to dip your toe into BDSM themes/tropes this would be a great place to start! Please please please read the trigger warnings first if you have things that may trigger you while reading ❤️

i'll never look at a chocolate milkshake the same way ever again...
this was... fun? crazy? twisty? not at all what i expected?? i went in pretty blind for the most part, so i think that made all of the twists and turns even more exciting and unexpected. FMC was a tooootal badass which i always appreciate, and i thought the dynamic between the brothers was really interesting. can't wait for their books!
tons of action, a whole lot of spice, and a plot that always kept you guessing what would happen next. i thought the romance and chemistry was captivating and believable, the organized crime was refreshing and not really like anything i've read before, and there were just enough crumbs about side characters to keep me interested in their possible future stories.
while i haven't loved all of Luna Mason's other books, i think this is a solid intro to a new series. definitely recommend if you're looking for badass characters, plenty of super steamy scenes, and a revenge plot that keeps you turning the page.

A great read if you’re looking for a dark mafia romance with a bit of a BDSM vibe. Charlotte and Declan’s love story is one that will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat. This is peak dark romance! The audio was really well done, and the story kept me on my toes and intrigued throughout the whole book. Definitely check your triggers with this one!
