Good grief this one starts on a bitter note. The writer is so good at capturing all the rioting emotions and turmoil surrounding Amber Rose. My heart breaks for her.
Well fuck Marc! Turns out she would be more than better without him. Wow, what a guy! (Heavy, and I mean heavy sarcasm.)
She’s so lost, just begging for guidance. Seth appears to do a good job at that so I’m surprised he’s not who I assumed.
Man I’m telling you, if it weren’t for bad luck, this girl would have no luck at all. The only shining light in her life is Seth, he’s an absolute godsend.
Oh Baxter, her growling bear in shining armor.
The bar scene when the rude asshole called her a whore and everything that ensued … fucking priceless.
I like Mr Turner a lot, he’s so buttoned up I’d love to see him lose himself even the tiniest bit. I’m sure I wouldn’t mind being on the end of his whip either.
If her luck wasn’t bad enough, she’s also apparently a creep magnet.
That was definitely a HFN kinda ending.
Overall an enjoyable read, very emotionally encompassing. The characterizations were very good, I was especially fond of Seth and Barry. The slow burn aspect was done very well and definitely left me wanting more. My only complaint is it was rather long with too many details that weren’t integral to the plot. Sometimes less is more.
