Gabe and Caitlin’s story is a rollercoaster. It's intriguing and thought-provoking. When is it okay to commit a crime, if it's for the greater good? I'll say that I'm really glad that this was all packaged together, and I was able to listen in one go. I’m not sure whether I would have had the patience to wait for each instalment. It had so many twists and turns, some you see coming, some you don't. Gabe and Caitlin are so good together. Their chemistry is off the charts, and I loved how he was willing to take on her family. There is a scene with Caitlin’s sister towards the end that had me tearing up. But mostly, I just wanted to hurt some of the characters. And that is a credit to Lili Valente’s writing.
The narration was fantastic. Erin Mallon and Lance Greenfield complemented each other perfectly. They each brought so much emotion to their characters, it was beautiful to listen to. My only issue was the age of the characters, if I hadn't known they were only 20, I would have assumed they were late twenties/thirties so that affected the listen a little. That being said, Erin and Lance do such an amazing job with their performances that it's easy to get lost in the story. Erin’s male voice is pure perfection and Lance’s female voice is superb. The transition from each POV was smooth and not jarring at all.

Lili Valente is a must-read author for me, and her To the Bone series is one that I absolutely loved. A modern day Robin Hood tale with a twist, Caitlin's and Gabe's story will have you flipping pages faster than fast. Gritty, romantic, passionate, heartbreaking, and life affirming, these two and their adventures make for some of the most memorable reading I've experienced.
The books in this boxed set will keep you up nights, devouring them because you just cannot put them down. Make sure that this set is on your TBR, because it is not to be missed.

I read this book when it was a One Wild Night and This Wicked Rush. It was my first ever Jessie Evans Series and I loved it. I have read everything she has written since and that includes all of her Lili Valente books! So if you are a fan or either or both...you will love this series.
Caitlin's life is full of responsibilities, much more any other woman turning twenty. So she decided that on her twentieth birthday she was going out with her best friend to a club for a night of dancing and letting loose. She had no idea what the night went bring when she starts dancing with a stranger....
Gabe is tired of the girls trying to change his bad boy ways. When he spots a girl on the dance floor that is dancing like nobody is watching he has to be near her. And when he does there is a pull between them. He knows there is something different about her and he will find out why...
Caitlin and Gabe are on fire. It's only a few hours but oh my God, Gabe is fucking hot! And but they could not stop thinking about each other even after months of being apart. Caitlin is still hard at work and taking on way more responsibilities then a twenty year should have to while Gabe is well, being Gabe....
So when Gabe decides enough is enough and that he has to see the girl that he can't stop thinking about he goes to her. They make the decision to spend the Summer together to let loose before they have to go back to reality. A summer full of passion, laughs and also danger. They feel alive when they are together and don't want the summer to end but nothing last forever....
I am in love with these characters, all of them even the little ones. Gabe is so straight forward and Caitlin is strong. And they fit perfectly together in the bedroom, it's the perfect blend of sexy and sweet. And the book is like puzzle that needs to be pieced together and I love puzzles! It's edgy, sexy and dangerous and I can't wait for more.

I was so excited to read A Love So Deadly! The cliffhanger in A Love So Dangerous was huge and my mind was on overdrive to figure it out and luckily the wait was not too long. It is different from any other series I have read and I love Lili Valente for it! Her writing is amazing and can't wait to read more of her books. Now, on with the review...I try to do spoiler free reviews and it's even harder with sequels so I will try my best.
Caitlin had the summer of her life and now has to try to move on for her family. She gets the opportunity of a lifetime to start over new from an unlikely source but this is what her family needs. She knows she will never feel how she did with Gabe in those few months that bought out the true Caitlin that was hiding. She tries her best to move forward even after going through the worst of times of her life....
Caitlin is trying so hard to just keep her family together and happy! She is such a strong and beautiful woman. Lili has given us one amazing serial series with some of my favorite characters. Excited to see what is going to happen next!

A Love So Deep is the third and final book in the To the Bone Series. It's been a crazy, sexy and wild ride and there is even more of the story!
It has been a year and Caitlin has a new boyfriend, someone she never thought would she would be with but she's living half a life. She just goes through the motions to make her family healthy and happy. When she gets news from home she is forced to go back to the last place she wants to be, there are too many memories there. When the family arrives to their hometown she is shocked to see people she thought she would never see again.
She has to solve huge puzzles and now that she has come across the major piece she is on a mission to complete it. There have been so many lies told in the last year and she doesn't know who she can actually trust. Caitlin feels that rush again and is back to that strong woman that doesn't take any bulls*** from anyone.
Caitlin is one of the if not the strongest heroine I have ever met in a book. She goes through some much and she might crack but never breaks. This series is about finding yourself and when you can find someone that you don't have to hide that from, you have found your perfect love. It is sexy, emotional and a beautiful story. I also love trying to solve the puzzle right along with her....

A Love So Dangerous by Lili Valente is the first book in her To The Bone series. It is hot and steamy without being overly done. The emotions run high, the writing carries you away, and you won't be able to get enough of Gabe and Caitlin either. Told in dual POV with a cliffhanger ending this will definitely suck you in. Note: It was formerly published as One Wild Night and This Wicked Rush by Jessie Evans.
Caitlin is a good girl who has sacrificed her own future in order to give her three younger brothers and younger niece a better chance at a future than she herself had. Her dad is a drunk, her mom abandoned them ages ago and her sister just up and ran off with her drug dealer leaving her infant daughter behind. Caitlin dropped out of high school so she could work two jobs to keep the kids out of the foster system and has been spinning her wheels ever since.
Gabe has a mission, to right as many of his family's wrongs as possible in the near future. In between, of course, picking up random girls at the nightclub. When a beautiful blond mesmerizes him with her dance he is hooked. Realizing he knows her after they spent time together on the dance floor comes as a shock, but a pleasant one, at least for him, she is just plain SHOCKED that Gabe is dancing and pursuing her.
Loved this - cannot wait to devour more. The characters are New Adult in age and the story reads like a new adult novel. Not to stay it isn't sexy and steamy but they are both in the 20-22 year range so if more mature characters are what you are looking for then I would not recommend this. However, if you enjoy steamy New Adult - READ IT NOW!!!!!!!

Just when you think you have everything figured out, Lili Valente throws a curve ball and your spun into an emotional roller coaster. Gabe and Caitlin are just perfect together. Lust, love, darkness, edginess are just some of the things you'll feel when you’re reading it. Their relationship is not the norm but then again their courtship has not been one as well. One summer, that is what they have promised one another. But what happens when the heart wants more?
Danger lurks in the shadows, the aftermath of Caitlin and Gabe's activities. Although their illegal activities were done for justice, in the end it awakens a monster. A monster that will not stop until Caitlin and Gabe pay.

I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next for Gabe and Caitlin. As usual you did not disappoint Lili Valente. I was so engrossed throughout this book with the raw emotions of the characters; loss, lust, infatuation, love, grief, jealousy, and betrayal. How much more can Caitlin endure in her life? After the devastating reality that the love of her life is gone, she decides to close that chapter of her life and start a new one. A new start and a better life for herself, her siblings and her niece. Did she expect that the one person who she loathed the most would be the one to offer her this golden ticket? No, but then again when has anything in her life been predictable. Although she is living in paradise, Caitlin's heart is still hollow and longing for him. She just can't forget the one man that made her feel alive, Gabe.

The Wild Rush Trilogy by J. Evans is filled with suspense, hardship and love. In this series you meet Caitlin and Gabe. They could not be more different from each other. Yet, each are going through their own struggles.
Caitlin has just turned 20. She had to drop out of school to raise her three younger brothers and niece. She works two jobs and is doing everything she can to not have her family taken by the state. She rarely has enough time for herself, let alone date anyone. For her twentieth birthday, she decides to go out for a few hours and just forget about everything. The last thing she expects is to meet Gabe again.
Gabe is bold, fearless and determined to live life by his own rules. His focus is to live in the moment. He has more than enough money to do anything he wants and usually doesn't think twice about it. He is determined to right some wrongs of his father's past, even if they are in unconventional ways. Once he sees Caitlin again, he knows the only way to help her is to teach her how to help herself. Even though he feels a strong connection to her, he is very clear there will be no strings attached and whatever they have will not last past the summer they decide to share with one another.
This book is filled with suspense, strong connections and pulled at my heartstrings. The way the Jessie Evans writes about her characters, I couldn't help but be pulled into the storyline further. I got a strong sense of the raw emotions they are experiencing and did not want to see this story end.
Caitlin has just turned 20. She had to drop out of school to raise her three younger brothers and niece. She works two jobs and is doing everything she can to not have her family taken by the state. She rarely has enough time for herself, let alone date anyone. For her twentieth birthday, she decides to go out for a few hours and just forget about everything. The last thing she expects is to meet Gabe again.
Gabe is bold, fearless and determined to live life by his own rules. His focus is to live in the moment. He has more than enough money to do anything he wants and usually doesn't think twice about it. He is determined to right some wrongs of his father's past, even if they are in unconventional ways. Once he sees Caitlin again, he knows the only way to help her is to teach her how to help herself. Even though he feels a strong connection to her, he is very clear there will be no strings attached and whatever they have will not last past the summer they decide to share with one another.
This book is filled with suspense, strong connections and pulled at my heartstrings. The way the Jessie Evans writes about her characters, I couldn't help but be pulled into the storyline further. I got a strong sense of the raw emotions they are experiencing and did not want to see this story end.

I love this author so much and now I really do think she can write anything and absolutely write the heck out of it!! I honestly do not know how I had never read this trilogy before when it first came out. It is absolutely incredible! I mean, WOW, what a dark, sexy and wild ride!!! So many ups and downs, so many emotions!! So many times I couldn't believe what was happening! I loved it!!
Both Caitlin & Gabe are amazing and complex characters that defy their age really. They have both already been through so much and we see them go through so much more that it makes them seem like they just have be much older than they really are. But when you realize they are not, it makes them all the more awesome and lovable. Gabe wants Caitlin, he doesn't want to want Caitlin but he can't help himself. She is a good girl, doing the right things. He is the epitome of a bad boy. Together they are positively combustible and honestly, they just fit and connect on so many levels. Their relationship is complicated but so real and amazing and kind of scary at times.
Gabe's home life is tense at best and his parents do not really seem to like him very much; which is in complete contrast to Caitlin's home life where her siblings rely on her and all help each other and this makes her situation so real and her responsibilities so very important. There are so many things happening in this series I recommend setting aside the time to read it all together.

This series was a fun and quick read. It was different but a little predictable, and hey, that's fine - because the characters were entertaining enough and the plot was enjoyable, regardless of the I-totally-saw-that-coming moments.
One thing, though, that wasn't predictable in the least was how dark (and how quickly the dark came on) the story was. There were a few moments that really did throw me for a loop, and it was nice to be kept on my toes during those times because it really balanced out the other less-surprising elements.
(This is one of those book series that did not benefit from the amount of books I've read, as I've already read a story where the parents pulled the same crap Gabe's parents pulled.)

Talk about a wild ride! From sheltered innocence to eye opening strength and determination, Caitlin is going to grow up right before your eyes. She may not be the daughter of your dreams but she is a friend worth having.

This was a great read, however there were times throughout when I wasn't sure I could carry on reading anticipating trauma. I believed that Gave had died although had hope he'd return it never looked likely. The twists and turns I'm this plot really kept you on your toes and the levels of deception die to self-interest was shocking. Thank goodness for family and kind hearts ☺

Wow!! What an exciting ride.
I could not put this one down. Gabe and Caitlin are two exciting and dangerous characters. One minute you love them and the next you are thinking "How can they be doing this?"
One of the most exciting non-stop reads you will definitely not want to end.
I recommend this book if you like romance, hot sex and suspense to the highest degree.

The three books were impossible to put down. Have to say it's the first books I have read that I have cried while reading in a very long time! Hated that it ended really.
