Not as good as the past two seasons, but still okay.

I read the first two seasons of Dead Days and I really enjoyed them. However, this book felt like it was missing something. It definitely gets better as it progresses, but I was just a little disappointed.

Saying that, it did not fail to entertain me and I still want to read more.

Riley is more of a secondary character in this season and the story focuses more on Pedro, whom I am slowly growing fond of. Some of the best chapters in the book are in Pedro's perspective. It was mostly Chloe's chapters that lacked, because they are written almost as if a child actually wrote them.

I get the intended effect -- I get that it's to make it seem like a child's thoughts because she is young. But it didn't really achieve this, and instead it just made it a bit irritating to read at times, and looked like sloppy writing.

On the other hand, the character development is great. That's where his talent clearly shines. And oh my, some of the twists! Overall, if you're a fan of this author you'll probably enjoy it. But don't expect anything amazing.

Ryan Casey Never Disappoints!

I love all his writing. Characters are so real and it's hard to not get attached. They seamlessly interact with the story and other characters. I always look forward to reading the next sagas and he's definitely one of the best writers of this genre!!!
