Rayna Todorov is no stranger to powerful men disrupting her life. As the daughter of a traitor, she’s lucky to be alive at all.

Instead of paying for her father’s sins with her life, she’s sold from her home, and subject to the ruthless Italians of The Casa Nostra. Forced to marry the worst kind of man, she does everything she can to shield her teenage brother from the worst of their world.

Apollo Moretti takes whatever he wants, when he wants it. As the future Capo to The Outfit, he’s been bred to rule as a merciless king. He only cares about his family, a fact about himself he doesn’t seek to change.

When he bears witness to a young woman who is willing to be beaten in her brother’s place, he can’t resist stepping in. The defiant way Rayna speaks to him, the way she’s willing to do anything to protect her brother… it calls to him.

It doesn’t take long before Apollo decides that Rayna would make a great mother. And it just so happens, he’s ready for an heir.

This is a dark mafia romance.

I would like to say a few things first-

1. Dante Moretti is D.A.D.D.Y., and I volunteer to be apart of his family (as his wife-);
2. The dose of found family in here has healed my abandonment issues (more than healed—I overdosed actually);
3. This book is, hands down, my favorite mafia romance book this year;
4. More than anything, I need Dante's book soon, please author.

── ⟢ ・⸝⸝

Rayna and her brother, Yordan, are from the Cosa Nostra and are working at a wedding as caterers. Rayna's asshole of a husband tries to hit Yordan in broad daylight, but Rayna stands is his way and is about to be hurt—until who stops him? Apollo, the MMC, brother of the bride and heir to the Outfit. (fyi, I did not retain this information in my brain and had to triple-check— the names of the mafia are not something I deign to remember on a daily basis xD)

Anywhooo, after Apollo puts an end to that, he takes Rayna and Yordan under his protection, and is now their sole provider. What happened to Rayna's husband, you ask? Well, sweet summer child, you'll have to find out. Hint: it's not what you think.

And then things go from there, including them entering in a marriage of convenience, and, of course, a pregnancy trope (my treat :>)

Rayna is my second favorite FMC in this series so far (after Jade). I loved the protectiveness she had, especially toward those she considers family, and how she was immediately distrustful Apollo, never letting him get away with things without demanding an explanation (which is realistic, lmfaooo). I loved their banter, their frustration, and their anger toward each other. And when she finally became vulnerable with him? The payoff was so sweet 🥹

I don't really have much else to say—it was just so good to be back with these characters. The writing, to me, seemed improved. I loved the found family, the dramaaa, the fact that Rayna was Apollo's first kiss, Rayna's personality, and Apollo absolutely spoiling her (and being pissed when she doesn't use his money tehehehe). The scenes with her, the kids and the kittens? I was mush 🤭💖

All the new details we got in this book have me beyond excited for the future ones—I honestly can't wait! I have to give major credit to the author for juggling such a large cast of characters while still giving each one a distinct personality. That's no easy feat, yet she pulls it off well.

A huge thank you to K.L. Mann for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

── ⟢ ・⸝⸝

Safety:
∙ Celibate for months MMC;
∙ No OWD;
∙ No virgins;
∙ OM drama - Yes. - IT DOES NOT. I DON'T FEEL THE FRICKEN TENSION???? WHERE IS IT.

This was the one thing that gave me the ick—the reason I docked .25 stars. I understand that something needed to happen to jolt into realizing he deserves better, but for it to be that? AGH. From Rayna's side, it didn't make any sense, and the whole "lonely" argument was not believable to me. Plus, earlier on, she made it clear to Apollo that she wasn't the type of girl to do something like that :/

-~-

I finished the second book in this series last night and honestly, I didn't even expect to be chosen for the ARC for the 3rd book. So you can imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to an email from the author with an early ARC!!! Perfect timing :)

ARC Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can I give this book six stars please? No? Then I’ll just reread it again (as if it were the first time 😩)

I literally bookmarked the entire thing, it’s insane 🤯I’ve never done that before!

This book was EVERYTHING. The bickering, the chemistry, the tension between Apollo and Rayna? Absolutely off the charts. I loved every second of it. They’re just made for each other. And seeing our overprotective future Capo get so jealous he was literally thanking a kid for interfering? Hahahah I loved that so much.

And OMG, the Moretti Family… seeing them again felt like a warm hug straight to the heart 💕. I adore this family, they’re so supportive, so full of love, and their bond is just beautiful.

Can I please leave everything behind and ask them to adopt me?? 😭

I also love how we get to know more about the brothers in each book. Not gonna spoil anything, but I’m so ready for Elio’s story, I’ve totally fallen for him already. 😍
And Matteo and Anya… omg I can’t wait for their book either, even though I already know it’s going to destroy me 🥹

Honestly, I didn’t want this story to end. I just want to stay with this family forever 😩😭.

Thank you so much Queen, for the ARC, it was truly the best thing that ever happened to me 🥹❤️
Can’t wait to dive back into this beautiful and majestic universe again!

Being completely honest I screamed when I saw this book land on my kindle, because I have been patiently waiting for Apollo Moretti’s story since we met him in Jades book and let me say his story didn’t disappoint.

Apollo is a protective guy, that much is clear from what we saw of him over the past two books so I am not surprised when he comes to Rayna and her brothers rescue after he sees her being mistreated by her husband. He offers them protection under his family name and of course because Rayna has come from a traitor family she is initially reluctant but she does concede as her options are limited and thus she believes the Moretti family is her best option.

I loved Yordan fan girling over the Moretti family and let’s be real it is exactly how I would react if I met them.😂 I adored how each of the siblings and their father Dante took Yordan and Rayna under their wings. The protective family element of these books will always be my favourite aspect😭.

Rayna is a fierce FMC, she basically raised her little brother and is oh so protective of him. She is most certainly not afraid to push Apollo’s boundaries and challenge him, I think these traits of hers is most definitely what initially hooked Apollo in. In the early half of the book we see these two being at odds with one another and you could honestly cut the tension with a spoon. Similar to Jade/Anya’s books we see Rayna developing a close bond with a particular Moretti sibling or two.

Another thing I like about Rayna is she isn’t afraid to speak her mind and oh boy does she speak her mind at a Moretti family dinner that definitely causes some shock waves but earns her even more respect from the family.

Apollo has a firm and hard exterior but he is a softy at heart when it comes to his family, but now that softness has ever more so extended to Rayna and her brother Yordan. Of course we know that there is a pressure on him to settle down and have an heir as he will be the head of the family after Dante steps down but the problem was he couldn’t find a woman that he wanted to be tied with for the foreseeable future but that notion completely went out the window when Rayna comes crashing into his life.

I don’t want to give too much away about this book but overall I absolutely loved it, it is clear from this book there is oh so much to come with the Moretti siblings and I cannot wait.

Thank you so much to the author who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

This book makes up for everything the others were missing ✨ The banter and chemistry are great 🔥. In the previous two books, the couples fall in love quickly and effortlessly, but that’s not the case here. There isn’t much of a plot, but the drama and tension more than make up for it. I really enjoyed it ❤️ i love the whole family vibes

Noteworthy: Book 3 of an incomplete series of interconnected standalones. Multi first-person POV. Content warnings provided. Available on KU.

I enjoyed the relationship buildup here but 500+ pages for such little external plot drama is a lot. I do love this family though so I'd do it all again and will when book 4 comes out!

P.S. Justice for Leon! Give my man some love!

Sadly, I was very disappointed with this book :(
I was really excited for Apollo's book! Unfortunately, Rayna was just the WORST. I could not stand her. She was unjustly a royal pain in the ass. She was rude and treated Apollo like shit for 80% of the book. When she finally stopped being such a b*tch, she ruined the peace by being such an idiot. She should not be allowed to make decisions for herself! This book could have been a 5 star read if not for the unbearable FMC who ruined the book.

Apollo was great and he deserved SO MUCH better!! The only reason I finished the book was because of him and the rest of the family. LOVE THE MORETTI & MOROZOV CLANS <3 <3

I will continue with the series and hope that we don't receive any more FMC like Rayna *fingers crossed*

I absolutely do NOT like Rayna.

She’s the most annoying Fmc that I have read in a while. I couldn’t even finish reading the book. I had to skim right through it after the chapter with Leon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5: A Mafia Romance That Had Me Cackling, Crying, Screaming “NO DON’T KISS!” and Then Immediately Begging for More 😭🤣🔥

Savage Empire by K.L. Mann has officially cemented the Moretti family as my Roman Empire. I think about them constantly. My sleep schedule? Destroyed. My sanity? Gone. My patience? Nonexistent. But my devotion? Unshaken. 😌🖤

This book gave me enemies-to-lovers chaos, feral family dynamics, emotional gut punches, and religious-level slow burn. I was flipping pages like I was being chased.

Apollo Moretti: Daddy of Discipline, Protector of Peace, Trauma-Fixer Extraordinaire 😮‍💨🔥
He is the human equivalent of a locked safe cold steel exterior, emotional treasure inside. I’ve been obsessed since book 1, and the man did NOT disappoint. The restraint? The possessiveness? The dirty talk??? Sir, my knees left the building. 🧎‍♀️🔥

He stayed competent, capable, and terrifyingly observant throughout the whole book. No suddenly-useless MMC syndrome here, Mann REFUSED that trope and thank God.

Rayna: certified menace to society, patron saint of bad decisions 🐈‍⬛💥
Rayna is… a lot. And I mean that in the most entertaining way possible. She’s loud, stubborn, mouthy, irrational, and allergic to good decisions. She was out here arguing with Apollo like she couldn’t see the veins popping in his forehead.

But she grows. She softens. She learns to trust. And I loved that.

…However, toward the end?
THE DECISION SHE MAKES???
I swear I had to set my Kindle down and walk away. I was like:

“Girl. GIRL. G I R L. STOP. PLEASE.” 😭💀💀💀

I wanted to grab her by the shoulders and shake her like a maraca.

Slowest burn in human history and I ate every crumb 😭🔥
First kiss at 54%???
That’s not a slow burn. That’s a glacial shift. A continental drift.

But honestly? If this book were 10,000 pages of slow burn, I’d still devour every word. I never get enough of this family, and the only thing I didn’t like about the pacing was that it felt rushed at the end. I wanted MORE. More scenes, more romance, more resolution, more everything.

Feed me Moretti crumbs like I’m a starving Victorian orphan. 🍞😩

Now… the part that almost made me throw my Kindle: LEON. 😭
Listen. When that almost kiss happened?
I SCREAMED.
I panicked.
I went through the five stages of grief in 12 seconds.

Why did it throw me off SO BAD?
Because Leon deserves better. Leon deserves love. Leon deserves happiness. Leon deserves a tight hug and maybe six months of therapy and a vacation far away from his ice-cold wife.

His loneliness??? His pain???
IT BROKE ME 😭💔

I need answers:

Will Leon get a book??
Will he get a divorce??
Will he get affection from ANYONE????
WILL CLEO EVER ACT RIGHT???

I need the front-row seat to this drama. Like, first chair, centre stage, popcorn in hand. Immediately.

Melani & Emilio: I have thoughts. Many of them. Mostly violent. 😐🔪
Should I hate Melani?
I don’t know.
Do I currently dislike her?
YES.

Every new piece of info about her made my eyebrow arch higher. The situation with Sienna? The surgeries? The sister dynamic?? The way she fractured relationships without even blinking???

Emilio is so hopelessly in love and I’m sitting here like:

“Sir… sweetheart… blink twice if you need help.”

Yordan continues to own my entire heart ❤️
Apollo & Rayna are the main couple, yes.
BUT APOLLO & YORDAN?
I melted. Disintegrated. Ascended.

Their bond is so soft, so sweet, so healing that it physically hurt to read. I love that little boy more than I love half my extended family.

Moretti Family Chaos remains elite
Mann writes the best dysfunctional criminal family ever. Every sibling has a personality that grabs you by the throat.
-Elio being unexpectedly funny?? I choked on air.
-Dante secretly in love??? SIR COME HERE IMMEDIATELY. M
-matteo + Anya crumbs?? Inject that into my veins.
-Nico lurking in the background like a quiet storm??? I’m READY.

This universe is HUGE and messy and dramatic and cozy and I never ever want to leave.

Spice: chef’s kiss 😮‍💨🔥
Once it hits?
IT H I T S.
My eyebrows are still singed.
And the marriage contract???
I was wheezing. Apollo implementing anti-biting policies??? Comedy gold. 😂💀

FINAL VERDICT:
Even with the chaos… even with Rayna’s questionable judgment… even with the Leon heartbreak that nearly killed me… even with Melani making me see red…

This book STILL owns me.

Yes, the ending felt rushed.
Yes, I wanted way more Apollo + Rayna moments.
Yes, I will never recover from the almost kiss.
And YES, I would read 10,000 pages of this slow burn if Mann wrote it.

I am addicted to this family.
I am impatient.
I need every sibling’s book.
I need the drama.
I need answers.
I need therapy.
I need MORETTIS.

4 stars because my emotional stability collapsed, but in the best way possible. 🖤🔥😭

Loved this one! The more I read about the Moretti brothers, the more I fall in love with every single one of them.
Apollo completely stole my heart — he carries the heavy weight of being the heir, which makes him seem grumpy, cold, and distant at first, but deep down he’s incredibly caring and always looking out for everyone around him. I especially adored his protective side, both toward Rayna and his brother Yordan.
And Rayna? She’s amazing — fierce, sassy, and determined to protect her brother no matter what. Her difficult past has made it hard for her to trust, but she never lets anyone, not even Apollo, walk all over her. And of course, that’s exactly what makes him fall for her.
I loved watching their relationship evolve — from strangers to enemies, to reluctant allies, and finally to lovers. It felt so real and layered, full of tension, passion, and the struggle of learning to trust and open up.
Their chemistry was off the charts, but what really stood out was the emotional depth and growth between them.
I also adored how the Moretti family welcomed Rayna and Yordan with open arms, making them feel like a part of their big, chaotic, and loving famiglia. It added such warmth to the story and made me love this family even more.
I can’t wait to dive into the next Moretti brother’s story — I already know I’m going to be obsessed!

Let me start by saying, this book is different from your typical mafia read, but in the best way possible. So, when you dive in, keep an open mind because trust me, you’re going to freaking love it.🙌🏼

I usually don’t warm up to feisty FMCs right away, but Rayna? That woman is a tigress. I absolutely loved her. She had her reasons for being the way she is, and instead of pushing me away, it made me admire her even more.

And then there’s Apollo. Ever since Hidden Empire, I’ve been so intrigued by him, and I’m thrilled with how his character was written here. So often, MCs lose their essence when they get their own book, but not Apollo. He’s still that grumpy, brooding mafia boss with a heart of gold (very well hidden, of course 😂).

Their chemistry? Sizzling. The banter? Perfection.
Add in the rest of the Morettis and the new characters we meet, and it’s safe to say I’m completely hooked. I can’t wait to see how Kassie weaves all these characters into her universe, and I’m already counting down the days until we get their stories.

P.S. Matteo is next!!! I seriously hope his book comes out soon because I need it now!

4.6 ⭐️ | 3.4 🌶️

“Savage Empire” definitely had a savage fmc as its leading lady. I think the book was great. Apollo’s emotional development was a thing to witness, closed off but oh so passionate and with a dirty mouth once he let himself make a move on Rayna!! Ugh he was everything.

For a woman who’s been held back by an abusive arranged husband Rayna is too mouthy and sassy. When she should be walking in shells, hesitant of Apollo’s promises to do her no harm—which he’s shown through actions time and time again (being an absolute god of patience and taming her outbursts without stooping to her level of verbal berating)—she should not so freely butt heads with him. I didn’t want her meek, however, she’s too much of a nuisance by being so outspoken and wild. It’s like yes, Apollo is aloof, but no matter how good he is, she just doesn’t get swayed by his non-threatening persona—she sees bad where there is none. It’s irrational.
No sexual tension for quite a big chunk of the first half of the book, although I shouldn’t be surprised- book 1 was also very family-centered (which I liked). Because of Rayna’s stubbornness in being trusting and nice to Apollo it was slightly tedious here.

I love getting to know Elio more. He’s so interactive and talkative—easy to laugh. I didn’t expect humor from him. I thought he kept more to the sidelines (which was alluded to back in book 1) after whatever severed his connection with Emilio.

The fact that Melani and Emilio as opposed to Cleo and Leon, are the ones happily married is so upsetting to me. How much of a bitch can she be and be part of the Moretti family too? The fact that her sister has been subjected to surgeries bc mommy dearest is the mother of all bitches and wants her to look like Melanie is so disturbing and heartbreaking and just sick.

How come Elio knew about Sienna but not the connection to Melani? He’s despised Melani for taking his twin from him but was it also bc he knew of her being related to Sienna? Although not even Matteo knew, so then how’d he meet Sienna? AGHH SO MANY QUESTIONS!!
A “good wife” and a “good mother” are titles that become undone with the level of negligence she’s demonstrated toward her sister. No matter how in love Emilio is with her (which has been reiterated so much through books 1-2), he deserves someone better than her and their relationship now feels tainted even more than it already was for her breaking the bond with Elio even if unintentional. (I feel like the author might go back in time and create arguments for Melani’s actions and attitudes so I might be eating my words here but it’s just impossible to air this out!)

My poor baby Leon—he’s such a sweetheart, a devoted dad, a caring soul, a kind friend. That loveless marriage going for 5 years now and being in absolute shambles because Cleo won’t offer him affection and won’t show him any form of attachment or warmth is truly heartbreaking being privy to. In book 2, we learned that they slept together only to try for babies and I was happy and intrigued because it meant they weren’t a complete lost cause. However, him pouring his heart out because of how lonely and miserable he is truly sheds light on the dynamic to his marriage and how cold and uncharacteristically indifferent Cleo is. I want to get inside her [and Emilio’s] mind, because we’ve learned that there are glimpses of jealousy nonetheless at times for Cleo. I want to pick apart their relationship and weave myself into the seams so I can thread them together and make them work!! Ughhh I just really am hoping for that “second-chance” trope for C+L’s book because it seems inevitable but also somewhat improbable because they are so far apart from each other—emotionally and physically. (I do have a feeling theirs will be book 5!)

*Spoilers*
First kiss 54% in. I hadn’t read a slow-burn in a while!
Rayna shoots Apollo and he tells her to marry him—What. A. Simp. HA! Love it.
Calling her “my woman” as a result of being shot by her is so funny and endearing.

I’m sorry, but Apollo being scared of getting his dick bitten off is hilarious. A whole rule and section on the marriage contract to not get oral from her is truly comedic.

Savage Empire is the third book in the empire series and boy was there a lot going on in it.
Rayna and Apollo my god they brought the heat the push and pull from these two was insane, they honestly couldn’t be more perfect for each other, there was so many emotional moments in this book we got to see a more softer side to Apollo and just everyone in general.
I love the set up for future books like Elio, Leon and Matteo I have to say I’m super curious about what happened with Leon my heart hurt for him, he is definitely become a top brother for me
The dynamic that is formed with rayan, Apollo and Yordan I loved it, it was beautiful to see
The whole family dynamic is just top tier, we got to see a lot more of Leon and Elio plus more of their characteristics. I cannot wait for the 4th book which is Matteo+Anya

I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC reader and receive an early copy of Savage Empire! Huge thankyou to Kassie for letting me dive into one of my favorite current series early. I finished this book in one sitting. J like the others and I absolutely loved it.

This one was definitely a bit slower burn than the previous books, but I didn’t mind that at all. The build up between Apollo and Rayna was so worth it. Their banter had me giggling and literally kicking my feet. I loved every second of their push and pull.

I’ve adored Apollo since Hidden Empire, and I just knew that when he fell, he’d fall hard. I was not wrong. He loves in his own intense, devoted way, and this book made me love him even more. Rayna was such a strong, layered character too. Her bond with her brother was so heartfelt, and I loved how she and Apollo mirrored each other as the “older sibling/parent” in their families. They just get each other.

Sienna’s story absolutely broke me. I wasn’t expecting to cry, but wow. And by the end, I wasn’t sure how to feel about Melani or Cleo, though my heart really went out to Leon (he deserves so much better!).

This book is also a lot spicier than the rest of the series. I’m not usually into overly spicy books, but I still enjoyed every second.

And those little teases for Matteo’s story? I’m obsessed already. Matteo has been one of my favorites since the start, and I can’t wait to see him get his book next.

I love this series so much, it’s got everything I want in a mafia romance: emotion, found family, and characters you can’t help but root for. Savage Empire was another amazing addition to the Moretti world. 💜

Thank you K.L. Mann for an ARC of Savage Empire!

This one follows Apollo Moretti, the oldest brother and future Capo of The Outfit, and let me tell you, you are not ready for him!

In previous books, we’ve seen his father pushing him to get married, have babies, and secure heirs so he can take his rightful place as Capo. But Apollo has always made it clear that he’s nowhere near ready for that kind of responsibility.

Enter Rayna Todoriv. She’s sassy, one of the few people who can get away with talking back to Apollo, and fiercely protective of her younger brother. Naturally, that makes her the perfect future Mrs. Moretti.

This book had everything I love, sharp banter, dislike-to-lovers tension, all the “spend my money” moments, and the best found family vibes.

Don’t sleep on this series!

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expected to be chosen for the ARC, so imagine my surprise and shock when I realized that I got an email from the author for the early ARC for one of my favorite series. Thank you so much for this opportunity Kassie!! 😭❤️

ARC Review time✨

(Reminder that this review is My opinion and
My genuine thoughts and how I feel about this book.)

PS. This is my first time reviewing an ARC Hopefully I did well 😅

First I just want to say I love how in every book we get to see each character and know a little more about them and how in each book the fmc/mmc has a special bond with one or two of the brothers! Found family is one of my favorite tropes and this series has it !!

Also this series has almost all of my favorite tropes!! Enemies to lovers, found family, accidental pregnancy (First book), arranged marriage (Second book), mmc/fmc that's like a parent to their sibling and so on! And it's written so perfectly it's * chef's kiss * 👌

The relationship between Apollo and Rayna is amazing. The banter, spice PERFECTION!! The way they are with Yordan is just my favorite!

Yordan is definitely my favorite character from this book!! I love him!! I really hope to see more of him.

I LOVE Apollo but I don't think anyone can beat my Hubby Cassio 🤭😘

Daddy Dante is a close second tho🫣

Overall, other than some of the parts in the book that I didn't agree with, I had fun reading it.
It's not my favorite but I enjoyed it!

Would definitely recommend this series if you like the tropes that I mentioned!! 🫶🏻

Tragic Empire(book 2)is still my No#1 favorite so far!

I'm so excited for Matteo's book.........excited for the rest of the series........ But I am.....BEYOND EXCITED for Cleo & Leon's book!! I am so desperate for their book 😭😭( I NEED IT PLEEEASSSEE)
😩😩😩 Please Kassie 😭😭 I need my babies' story!!

The pink cover is literally perfect for Reyna, I know she would love it.
This book was pretty good and completely different from the last two books. We had a fmc who wasn’t totally obsessed with Apollo from the start, which was refreshing. But at some point I felt sad for him. He only had her best interest at heart and she made him feel bad about it. Still, Reyna had her reasons and I loved her way with dealing with her little brother and the way they act with Apollo as a family!!

Okay wow...... yes yes yes 🫡🫡 I SWEAR I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES 😍😍 okay this one is Rayna and apollo and wow yes absolutely loved this, there was minimal actual plot but I actually don't care because I love a good character driven book and I love these characters SO MUCH, I always love the side characters and have the best time and laughs and cries when reading this series, I was anxious multiple times throughout this book because I was prepared to be emotionally damaged like I was in the first two books but I will say this one was the least emotionally damaging and there were some possible hints of two other characters who could get books and I really really hope they do (I'm looking at you Leon and Dante 🧐) I'm so obsessed with this series because this is just phenomenal and hits everytime but just some emojis to sum up how I feel about this book 🥰🥹🫡😮‍💨❤‍🔥🫶

So for Apollo, I loved getting his perspective and seeing how his mind works, he's the eldest and future capo and a incredibly grumpy / closed off MMC but not around Rayna, I was so intrigued and interested to see how Apollo thought and what kind of character he really is and I loved seeing his softer side, his dynamics with all the brothers especially some we haven't seen a ton of in the other two books like elio and Leon, I loved seeing him bicker with his brothers, his devotion to his family and doing the right thing without asking for anything in return, I loved seeing him mentor yordan and take him under his wing and just grow to care for him and oh my gosh deep down he's just a huge softie 🥹🥹

Now for rayna, one of my favorite FMC's, I love her personality and her sass! I mean I fell in love with her the moment she first yelled at Apollo and saw how protective of yordan she was, she's soft in the
way of she loves baking and pink but she also can put Apollo in his place when needed, we love a bitch who can do both 🥹🫡 she was such a fun FMC to read and be in the perspective of, she does have major trust issues but I found them to be completely valid and totally understood them, I loved seeing her dynamics grow with the found family aspect especially with jade, elio and leon, I loved seeing her grow close to them although Leon in this book made me feel so bad for him and I really hope he gets a book with his happy ending but anyway back on topic I loved seeing how natural she was with kids and how all the nieces and nephews just bonded with her. I also loved her dynamic with yordan it was such a sibling relationship but also a mother and son relationship at times which was just so cute

Okay now for them together, first and foremost and my favorite part of this relationship...... THE BANTER God this had top tier banter between them and I loved it, I ate it up, I laughed, I screamed, I giggled, I kicked my feet and I could not put this down 🥹 and Apollo is so sweet to Rayna and so possessive and protective and I loved every second of it, he was ready to do anything to make Rayna trust him and feel safe under his protection and yes yes yes 🫡😮‍💨 I loved this dynamic, the banter, the sweet moments, the fact that she could and did stand up to him when needed, the spice was incredibly fun and I loved the spice in this, also the tension.... wow absolutely loved the tension in this and they are just so cute and I can't get over how much I love them 🥹🥹

ARC review (thank you KL Mann!)

Another incredible installment in the Moretti Empire. Apollo, the man you are! The book picks up right where the last one ends and has everything you love about this series jam packed. The banter, the tension, the bickering masking what we all know is going to happen. This book has it all. Apollo has finally met his match in Rayna and I am here for all of it! The found family keeps growing and while you’d think it would get confusing, every character had their own way of making you remember them. I love this series and this book was more proof how much this family is ingrained in me. I love all the cameos and getting to see more of the other brothers. Apollo and Rayna are so perfect for each other I literally couldn’t get enough. Now how to wait for Matteo is really the question!

Just when I think this series couldn’t get any better, here comes Apollo Moretti being delivered to us on the most delicious platter.

If you love mafia romance featuring the ultimate grump and sassiest fmc, this one’s for you. Between the bickering between these two, Rayna’s protectiveness over her brother, and Apollo insisting that she spend his money, I couldn’t stop smiling. These two had me SO giddy the entire book. And the spice?! Are you kidding me?! Apollo in baby making mode… lost for words.

I will never tire of the Moretti family. This has become one of my favorite worlds to get lost in. From the storylines, to the characters. I’m so obsessed. And I just know I’m going to be utterly destroyed by the next two couples. And I can’t wait to enjoy every second of it. 11/10 recommend!! 🥹

Arc Review (NO SPOILERS!)
This book had me hooked from page one. This story starts where book 2 ends in Apollo’s POV of what transpired on the island involving Rayna and Yordan. So much detail yet still not ENOUGH! This book, like the last 2, will have you wanting ALL the brother’s books immediately! But the wait will be worth it given the masterpiece I just read, I promise!
Throughout this book you truly see inside Apollo’s mind, and he is more than meets the eye. His character is deep, and you’ll see him find the balance between being a brother, a husband and the future Capo. You’ll see the trust issues Rayna has and the constant fight she puts up crack slowly with the help and reassurance not only from Apollo but most of the Moretti family. She breaks her gilded cage with the help of Apollo and finds her true freedom in love and family. You’ll see the development of their love story and swoon from their first meet. You’ll fall more when you see how attentive Apollo is to not only Rayna but Yordan too!
We have some family drama because what’s a Moretti family dinner without some hard honest truths and good Matteo humor.
We’ll see the Moretti loyalty shine through the WHOLE book!
We get more insight into the Moretti family. A new love story confirmed and another one secretly hinted! (Chapter 40) But also a heartbreaking truth from a certain brother. (I cried) Previous characters and couples/friendships showing up and new ones made! More babies! (Yes PLURAL)
This was my most anticipated read and I can say without a doubt this did NOT disappoint. This would be a 6⭐️ read if it could but alas, I’m only allowed 5⭐️.
I highly recommend reading this book. If this is your first book by K.L. Mann please start with book 1 Hidden Empire followed by book 2 Tragic Empire for the best reading experience and full story!
Book 4 is releasing in 2026 Matteo Moretti and Anya Morozov! I’m SO excited! The wait may just kill me!
Thank you so much Kassie for this AMAZING opportunity!

SAVAGE EMPIRE ARC REVIEW...
I was hooked on this book from dedication itself..—If your type is infuriatingly cocky, rick, and grumpy mafia men who pay your bills and put up with your attitude, this one's for you-how can someone not fa
Do read it when it comes out..

REVIEW:
Apollo n Rayna's book.. the book itself started from Apollo protecting two strangers whom he did not know..and that / was something I did not expected from him..and the way he totally too Yordan under his wing..and guided him was loving to see.. The banters between Rayna and Apollo were too fun to read n imagine..Leon n Rayna's bond disturbed me from the very beginning..l have had a soft spot for Leon; since the very first book..and omg, his poor soul..he was just lonely..nvm, I liked how Apollo handled that situation too..Apollo giving Rayna surety that they'll never be left alone from now on was a big moment for me..and HE LOVES HER N SHE WAS HIS FIRST KISS FOE HEAVENS SAKE..Leo was an absolute delight..his and Rayna's bond was just tearful to watch..I want a Kid like now..and Leo calling her Pollo's..I cried..Jade n Ana were their absolute selves..n I loved them..and Rayna thinking Ana n Apollo were having an affair was hilarious..Apollo has always been helping everyone and | loved him.....shocking was Elio..I never imagined him to be secretly helping someone..bow we know why he hated M so much..and Rayna n him standing up for S was bestttttt....By the end, Matteo n Apollo's bond also became something more n I felt like crying again..can't» wait for his book..and VAUGHN DANTE MORETTI and VIKTOR MORETTI-MOROZOV were both born by the end of the book..Now Apollo will have Yordan as his stepson and Vaughn as his heir..l'm so happy for him…he deserves the world!!

Favourite quotes:

1. "Listen to me," he snaps, hands flexing around my face. "I'm going to make this clear one time, and then I never want to hear you worry about this again. If you couldn't get pregnant, I wouldn't divorce you. Leon would take my place, and I would take his. I don't want to be Capo if I can't be Capo with you as my wife. I fucking love you, Rayna."

2. "Apollo, you need—"
"You," he cuts in. "I need you.
Rayna. My fucking wife."

3. “Micina.”

4. Moglie..

5. My feral kitten.

6. Breed. Me.

SAVAGE EMPIRE (Book 3 in the Moretti Empire Series) has arrived—and trust me, you’ll want to binge the first two books to fully appreciate this chaos-filled, deliciously dramatic world.

This one picks up right where Book 2 left off, but this time we’re deep in Apollo’s POV—and oh boy, does it deliver. I’ve loved him since Hidden Empire, and let me tell you, when this man falls, he doesn’t just trip—he swan-dives.

We’ve watched his father pressure him to marry, make heirs, and claim his spot as Capo, but Apollo’s been all, “Hard pass.” Enter Rayna Todoriv—sass queen, fierce sister, and one of the only people who can talk back to Apollo without getting scorched. Naturally, that makes her perfect for him.

Their chemistry? 🔥
Their banter? Top-tier.
Their story? Utterly addictive.

Add in the growing found family, a mix of unforgettable characters (old and new), and Kassie’s magic touch—and yeah, I’m officially obsessed. Counting down until the next book already.

Things to know

Marriage deal, mafia, grumpy x sassy, age gap (33m/24f), secret friends, slow burn, “spend my money”, heir making, bickering as foreplay, forced proximity, “where’s my wife?”, taking the condom off, breeding kink, trial fuck, “stop calling me that…nickname”, Explicit Language and Graphic, Violence Spousal Abuse (not by MMC), Guardianship of Sibling, Trauma, Pregnancy, Weapons and Murder, Sex Without a Condom, Crying/Panic, Torture and Murder, Killing of a Pregnant Woman (past, mentioned), Killing of an Infant (past, mentioned)

“You want me to write your guaranteed pleasure into our marriage contract? The contract that my father would read, review, and sign?”
“The man has ten children, I’m sure he’s familiar with the mechanics of making babies. I doubt my desire to enjoy the process will scandalize him.”

This series just keeps getting better. I am so in love with every member of the Moretti family. I can't wait to read about all their hea's.
Rayna the fmc is such a brat(in the best way). She is snarky but caring, she doesn't trust or show affection to many, but when she does it's so sweet. I love that she is so argumentative towards Apollo, but so sweet to all the other brothers. It was so funny. Her relationship with her brother Yordan is great.
Apollo is his father's son. He is so stoic and never has anyone bicker or call him out(other than Matteo). It was great to watch him fall in love and for things not to go super smooth and easy. I loved that this had him opening up to his brothers more and strengthen those relationships. The way he felt an insta-connection to Yordan as a mentor/father figure was so touching but also had some true lol moments.
The books in this series do found family so well. I am truely invested in every single brother, Dante(the patriarch), and even some other mafia men mentioned. I have a few BIG questions from this book(but no spoilers) and I will be impatiently waiting for some answers in the next books.

In summary, this book has it all; drama, a little bit of shootings, babies, nosey family, bickering, spanking, and much more.

I received this book as an ARC, but the review is completely independent and reflects my own genuine thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

I cannot believe I was lucky enough to get chosen for an ARC but I’m sooo grateful. I loved Tragic Empire and Cassio still remains my fav (Apollo does measure up to expectations ofc). The family dynamic was so wholesome to read, especially with Yordan and Rayna. I appreciate how in every book we get some insight on a few of the other siblings, like Elio and Leon in this one. I can’t wait for the next book, I know Matteo’s will also be amazing!

ARC review:

I just wanna say thank you to K.L Mann for sending me this ARC, i feel so utterly grateful to be able to read Apollo and Rayna’s story so early on after waiting for so long😭

I absolutely DEVOURED every second of this book. I am so in love with DADDY APOLLO and Rayna’s story! I was hooked from the very start of Rayna and Apollo’s endless banter, i found it hilarious !

At times i got a bit pissed off at Rayna and her stubbornness but i can’t fault her after her traumatic past and everything she has been through. Apollo being such a gentleman, was patient, loving and caring to Rayna and her little brother Yordan and i expected nothing less from such a fine man.

I loved seeing Rayna slowly open up and build that trust with Apollo and i CACKLED everytime Apollo would shove his credit card in her face and force her to spoil herself🤣 The dynamic between the two was just something else entirely and i savoured it completely. I just loved watching them grow so much together and i couldn’t get enough of it!

I want to thank K.L Mann for creating these beautiful characters who i wish were real in reality but unfortunately we’re not that lucky and just have to live it through the fictional world. 🫶🏽
