Is an entertaining read on the intricacies and myriad of issues surrounding a relationship. The writing wasn't bad but the whole book was full of cliches and the story was all over the place. I didn't like the characters enough to care about any of it, plus they were too many and I got confusing. The heroine is immature and whiny and hero is a strong silent. Izzy had been in love with Jim since before she was 6 and Jim was in love with her to but circumstances kept them apart, then thrust back together in a strange situation. The story is too long and full of drama and they don't get together until 65% of the book, whole lot more plot twists before and after that and the last tidbit is thrown in and then nothing comes of it, after that this end...This was okay read.
Another recommendation that I am so glad found its way to me. This is my first Emilia Finn book and I am in LOVE. I will be reading the rest of this series as fast as I can. I absolutely love best friends to lovers books, especially if its childhood friends to lovers. I scoop these books up as fast as I can. I am honestly surprised I didn't find this book sooner. So thank you whoever recommended this to me you are AWESOME!!
Okay like I said above this is a childhood bestfriends to lovers book. It's not your typical friends to lovers, these two go through so much before they get their happily ever after. I loved both the main characters, Jim is the best. He is so adorable and funny. The poor guy has insert foot into mouth syndrome, which really bites him in the butt sometime. BUT this guy has such a huge heart and is a fierce protector, he protects everything he loves without a second thought.
Izzy is one bada** chick. She does not back down from anything and takes everything in stride. Yes she has her moments of weakness but she always bounces back stronger than before. Izzy is a soon to be single mother trying to make a life for herself and her soon to be born baby all while her nosey friends and family are constantly in her business. She is trying to adjust to her new found independence while dealing with her feelings for her bestfriend. These two constantly go round and round until they are forced to admit their feelings.
I really liked this book a lot. Part of the reason I loved this story is the strong family bond. Family is not always blood and this book is the perfect example of that. All the secondary characters are amazing and easily liked. Each character is fun and interesting and you want to know their story as well. All of these crazy melding family members are wildly protective and each have a heart of gold. I absolutely love this crazy family and cannot wait to read more from this series.
Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy. Through the first 2 books in the series I watched and wondered about Jim. There was something about him, the baby of the clan that made me want to know his story and the soft place I had for him was formed. I hurt for him when Iz shared her baby news. I waited for the time and place for him and Izzy's story to be told and now it has been. They have a loot to work through I mean there never should have been anyone but them but that's changed. They have to grab their hea and hang on for all it's worth if it's gonna happen they will have to get past their past. But of course you know it's not that easy for the Kincaids it never is. Jon isn't going to roll over, that would mean Jim would have to choose between his brother and the love of his life. Then again Jon may be the least of his worries. I love this family and it's so cool that the author is now on this generation. Man how things have changed from it being just the two to this massive clan. This time they get to protect more than their women, showing themselves to be their father's sons. It's like catching up with family and this author makes it personal and like coming home.
Jim has loved Iz since he was 8 years old and Iz was 6. He has been and still is her protector, her best friend and the love of his life. They were each other’s soulmates and their forevers until one night when Iz made the biggest mistake of her life believing Jim didn’t want her. Now 22 and 20 years old will Jim and Iz find their way back to each other and will they find there forever? The entire gang is back to cheer Jim and Iz on but first they must let go of past mistakes. I enjoyed this addition to the Rollin On Series but for a better reading experience you may want to read this series in order. I love reading the Rollers and they’re my go to when I need a pick me up read.
Edited 17.8.21 listening to the audio and it’s as good as the book. Just love me some Rollers 😍
I really enjoyed this story. The hero and heroine did have a misunderstanding that lead to their not having gotten together previously. I didn’t live that aspect of the story, but thankfully this wasn’t a retelling of the past. The author focused mostly on the here and now. The author did something that I live with second chance/ childhood sweethearts which was have a hero who waited for the heroine. Things I loved: Heat, not boring Virgin hero/almost virgin heroine: she did technically have sex with her ex resulting in pregnancy, but by description she didn’t consent. She was with an older man, who got a 19 year old drunk and basically forced himself on her Hero never waivers on his love for the heroine, although he did feel like he should try to move on. Slight ow/om situation. It doesn’t seem that the hero knows the truth about the baby’s conception, she blames herself. He tried to move in by going on two dates, but doesn’t so much as kiss them. If he’d have realized the heroine had actually wanted him too, he would never have went out with either of them. Huge family, that proves blood doesn’t matter.
Cons: I feel like the conception/ date rape conversation should have happened, instead of having been an internal monologue. This was technically a stand alone, but having not read the series I found myself confused several times. It would have been helpful if the author had included a family tree or more of a prologue.
Jimmy and Izzy had a heartbreaking love story. It was truly painful to watch them through the other books and partially through this one.
I guess on some levels I can understand his hesitancy and worry about ruining a lifelong friendship, but come on a Jimmy! I can also understand Izzy wanting to feel wanted, but boy o boy, did she ever make a mistake!
I was thrilled when they finally got it together and shocked by an event at the end of the book. I'm truly enjoying this series.
Summary: Izzy has been in love with Jimmy since she was 6 and he was 8. Jimmy has also been in love with her for that long. They refuse to see it, but everyone else sees it.
Izzy had sex one time with Ben, who turns out to be married with 2 kids already, and she ends up pregnant. He doesn't want anything to do with the kid. Jimmy is a mess about this because he is still a virgin at 23 years old. He has been holding out for Izzy. Izzy feels sick she didn't hold out for Jimmy.
Jimmy goes out on a date to try to get over Izzy, but while he is on the date, Izzy goes into labor. Jimmy runs out on his date, picks up Izzy, and brings her to the hospital. While they are waiting for her to have the baby, the confess they love each other more than brother & sister. Jimmy proposes with a ring he has kept in his pocket for 5 years, waiting for Izzy to get old enough and be ready for him. (He bought it when he was 18 and she was 16.) Izzy of course says yes. Izzy has her baby Bean, who's actual name is Lucy. Izzy and Lucy have an infection but they are both okay after some meds.
They all eventually go home together now that they are healthy. The Rollin' On boys decide to buy a gated community where they can all move in together. While they are there for Jimmy to look over the houses (because of his contractor experience), Jon and Jimmy get in a big fight because Jimmy didn't sleep the night before and Jon keeps pushing his buttons about marrying Izzy.
Once they all calm down and get home, Jimmy tells Izzy they are getting married and they all get ready in 20 minutes and go to the courthouse and get married.
Izzy and Kit decided to go back to training, while they are there, Ben's wife, Lindsi shows up with her 2 kids and hits Izzy. Lindsi is moving out of Ben's house and needs a safe space for her and her 2 kids, Benny Junior & Olivia. Izzy offers for her to move into one of their gated community homes until she can figure stuff out. After all, Benny Jr. & Olivia are Lucy's half siblings.
Ben hunts Lindsi down and when the Rollin' On families all go to dinner, he sneaks into Lindsi's house. He basically hangs her from a chandelier with plans to kidnap Benny Jr. (he doesn't care about Olivia and plans to leave her to starve.) Izzy and Jimmy get home early to put Lucy to bed, but they see Benny and Olivia on the lawn. They go investigate and find Lindsi hanging but still alive. Jimmy gets her down but then Ben comes at him with a gun. They tackle each other and Ben shoots Jimmy in the shoulder while Lindsi shoots Ben. The cops come and start working on Jimmy; Ben is dead.
Lindsi decides to move her and her kids back home to her family.
Review: So happy that Izzy and Jimmy are finally together. I got super nervous about Jimmy dying when he was shot. It would have been devastating! I think it's sweet that Jimmy saved himself for Izzy; in most books, it's the girl that's a virgin, not the guy. It was refreshing.
I really hope that Aiden and Tina end up together. Based on the fact they ran into each other once and talked about cereal and have somehow missed each other every time Tina is around shows promise. Can't wait for Aiden's story. He's such the silent observer in the other books.

This book made me angry, frustrated and annoyed. My least favorite trope in romance novels is when the characters just make assumptions instead of talking to each other. I HATE it. So much wasted time between Izzy and Jim - literally YEARS because nether one said boo about their tru feelings. They’ve loved each other their entire lives but presume the other doesn’t feel the same so don’t act on their feelings, even though others can see it, clear as day. Jim’s reasonings are stupid - thinks she’s too young (although he’s only 2 years older) to commit to forever with him. Wants her to live her life so she’s sure, but then gets mad when she actually tries to move on. This book went nowhere for the first half - just a lot of the same whining over and over without any resolution. Then suddenly, Iz goes into labor and everything between them is resolved, just like that. Huh? And then, out of nowhere, we suddenly have this villain show up, which just felt like it was thrown in for the heck of it. Also annoying was how they kept treating Iz like shes a child. I get it, alpha male boys and all, but she’s an adult. Some of the conversations were so annoying - you would think she was a 5 year old. The first two books were fine but this one was disappointing in its ridiculousness.

My only problem was the same with my previous review of the first book, the sexual tension was missing.
I don't know if it was just me but it was soo fast? I noticed with Emilia her stories aren't about HOW they got together, but how they are when in a relationship. Which is nice because very different. I'm so used reading about how and why they get together, and the tension of them finally being together that that's why I found this was fast ? Does anyone agree?
I'm really struggling with this series so far. I'm reading it in order and I really enjoy the characters and the way that they interact and the emphasis on family. But I don't like the lack of in-depth details on anything. And the fact that these guys are in the United States somewhere, I don't know where cuz they never say, but somewhere, yet they're using words and phrases that are not really used in the United States. They may be used in the fighting circuit and an Australia, but most people do not talk like some of these people have been talking. So while I really enjoy the story, my brain also hurts from some of the phrases and trying to adapt them to be Americanized. Lol
I did not like Belle at all and obviously Ben was terrible. But I really do love all the characters otherwise. Their hearts and their compassion and their love is pretty amazing all around.
I enjoyed the sneak peeks and flirting around with the idea of Aiden and Tina getting together. I'd eventually of course Tink and Jon. And it's also still nice to see Bobby and Kit.
The storyline of Iz losing her virginity and getting pregnant by a douchebag and begging Jimmy to forgive her someday, with Jimmy being heartbroken was definitely a new plot. But, it also showed that family is who you make it. And they welcome plenty of people into their family.
Like the other books, I felt like this one ended abruptly as well. And had it not had the "epilogue" at the end, it would have ended horribly. However, the epilogue was still just kind of leaving things open. I hope he did the upcoming books that Iz gets pregnant again.
And I'm not even sure if Lindsi (terrible spelling of it, btw), realized that Bean was the half sister of her kids. They seemed to gloss over that part with her. Sure, Ben mentioned it, but I'm not sure she was around/alert enough to realize it. 🤷🏼♀️
And as someone else pointed out, these books are meant to be standalone books, but without some additional context, or reading the prior books, I don't know that it's very clear who is brothers by blood vs by choice. It's not an issue to me, since I read the books from the beginning, but I can see how that would be confusing.
I also want to know who's going to move into the other two houses in the cul-de-sac. There are seven houses total and five are accounted for. The mom didn't want to live there, so that would have been six houses, but what about the 7th? I'm curious if that will be wrapped up as well. I thought maybe Lindsi and her kids would have ended up sticking around because of the sibling aspect. But based on this book, she's going back to her family out west. Hopefully we'll find out in the upcoming books. Lol
I'm writing most of this before I've even finished the book so I can start the next quickly. The first book of this series was good but too long and over packed. The second book served no real purpose. I'm not deb ate what this book is at 31 chapters read. I thought that we would backtrack some and get some sense and romance between Izzy and Jimmy but it starts sometime after book two. The first half or so is the same thing that's been happening in the other two books. They supposedly love each other but persist in thinking the other doesn't so they act like jerks to each other. I was already over it as background in the other books I hated it as the main plot to this. Then after the most horrifyingly graphic birth scene ever written they're engaged and everything is magically worked out. Two things on that. First seriously self care is skipping that entire birthing scene. Even skimming I was so deeply disturbed and deeply grateful for my hysterectomy. Second, that's not how anything works. This wasn't a romance. I don't know what it was but it was painful to read. It went from terrible strained relationship because no one would just open a dialogue to perfect family. The reasons for them not talking to each other and causing all this ridiculousness were so flimsy I'd rather have had nothing. Then because of the whole birth thing nothing romantic continues to happen. So they're co parents who are engaged but have never been on a date and kissed like once as children. Yeah ok. I skipped the one sex scene because I am so traumatized by the mental images of birthing. I thought there were only 26 chapters so I decided to stay up past bedtime to finish. I thought it was weird that they made baby daddy have this like ominous appearance then never mention him again. Turns out there's 36 chapters and now he's this monster abuser that has a plot line to wrap up in the last 5 chapters of the book I couldn't get to because I had to crash. At ch31 this book is a hot mess with no romance or development of any kind and no real plot until this off the wall bomb thrown in last minute. I'm dying to read Aiden and Tina's book (don't even care about Jon andCassie) but at this point I'm scared to. Baby daddy ended up being comical in how ott villainous he turned into seemingly out of nowhere. The whole thing was skippable
I honestly don’t know if I have enough words to explain how much I loved this book. This series has quickly become one of my all time favorites, read them over and over, fall in love with all over again every single time, and yell from the rooftops for every one to go read these books, series. From the first book Finding Home where I first met the Kincaid family, to the second book Finding Victory where I got to see Bobby and Kit have their wedding and the start of Jimmy and Izzy, and now in Finding Forever we get to see Jimmy and Izzy and find out what happens with them. I don’t want to give spoilers, so I’ll say if you have read the first two books of the Rollin On Series (and if you haven’t I HIGHLY recommend you grab copies, they’re free on KU also!) Finding Forever is a MUST read! I cried in a restaurant. I smiled so much my face hurt. I sighed like a girl with her first crush at how incredibly sweet Jimmy was. I loved the glimpses of my other favorite Kincaid men that we get in this book. I started my morning reading this while out to breakfast and I kept reading all day. I got none of my adulting done and regret nothing. This is a book and series you do not want to miss!
This is the third book in the Rollin’ On series by Emilia Finn. This is a standalone romance with a happily ever after. But all of the supporting characters in this story are very strong characters that make you want to know more about them. The characters from Finding Peace (book 4) and Finding Redemption (book 5) have little Easter Eggs of their stories showing up throughout this book so you will definitely want to continue with the series. This is Jim and Izzy’s story. It is a friend’s to lovers, childhood crush kind of love story. There’s some heartbreak, danger and pain, but plenty of heat, humor and romance to balance it. Jim and Izzy grew up together, practically raised as siblings. Izzy thought her love for Jim was unrequited, so she chose to move on and ended up pregnant with another man’s baby from one bad decision. Jim waited too long to make his love for Izzy known and now has to decide how they will fit together after this. I really felt their pain over what felt like an impossible situation to them. But it was great love story.
Izzy Hart knew she loved Jimmy Kincaid when she was 6 1/2 years old. He was her protectors but when he had detention and she had to face 3 bullies and they threatened to find Jimmy tomorrow she saw red and defended him and then he was there and she knew. She loved him. Childhood best friends only problem is he never made a move and now she is pregnant with another man's child. A man unworthy of her or her unborn child.
Jimmy is shocked when he learns she is pregnant but when he learns the men didnt do right by her he vows to be her BFF and be there for her and Bean. When Izzy blows a fuse and basically tells him to move on, stay away, he begrudgingly will try too. He will even reluctantly accept a date from the town psycho slut. On that date though things will change forever....a phone call. Blood, pain, sickness and now he will have two women who own his heart and he will do everything to fight for them to protect them to be there for them.
I weird twist at the end, but a good ending. It will make sense when you read the book. These two star crossed lovers you pray they get their HEA.
Finding Forever by Emilia Finn. This is the story that I have been waiting on since I read the other two books. Izzy and Jimmy share a bond that binds them together. No matter what they go through, they are always there for one another. They are in love with one another but are too stubborn to make the first move.
When Izzy gets involved with a jerk, Jimmy is heartbroken. When she makes the announcement that she is pregnant, he still stands by her. The back and forth between the two nearly killed me a couple of times. There were moments where I almost threw my Kindle out of the window. I was screaming at them to get their acts together. The Rollin On family is the best. They are the true definition of family.
I am a huge fan of Emilia Finn’s works. She always leaves you wanting more from the Rollin On Crew. She throws in twists that you will not see coming.
I will recommend this book to others. I give it 5/5 Platypires
I wasn't sure I was going to survive this book. I felt like I was on a runaway train to Emotional Crazy Town and I wasn't going to be able to get off before it crashed. Ok so thats slightly dramatic but this book seriously put me through the ringer. The prologue had me choking up. Chapter 4 was my first ugly cry of many. By the end of chapter 8 I was so frustrated I had to take a break before I threw my Kindle across the room. That frustration continued to build and by about the 30% mark something needed to give before I broke. Thankfully it did, at least for a little while. This book kept me teetering on the emotional edge to the bitter end and it was worth it. Technically this was Jimmy and Iz's story but the other characters that I've now grown to love from the first two books in the series are masterfully woven in as well. I cannot get enough of this Rollins crew.
{56} Finding Forever (Rollin on series book 3) by Emilia Finn is a 5 ⭐️ read. Jimmy Kincade has loved his best friend since they were little but she was raised like a sister to him, there’s 2 years between them and Jimmy is just waiting until she’s experienced a bit of life before telling her how he feels but his plans change when she gets pregnant by another man, breaking his heart in the process. Izzy Hart is a fighter, she’s grown up with her brother and 3 honorary brothers but she has a secret, she’s in love with the youngest honorary brother, he’s been her best friend since she was little, she’s sick of waiting for him to see her as a woman and not the little kid he grew up with so she goes out to find someone to take her mind off him and ends up pregnant and she’s now sure things will never change with Jimmy. This story was so good, I loved Jimmy and Izzy together and I’m so glad they finally got to be happy together.
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is part of an ongoing series and really need to be read from book 1 to fully appreciate all the storylines.
**spoilers** This is the story of Izzy (Bobby's "sister"and Jimmy, Bobby's brother).
Iz has been in love with Jimmy since she was 6yrs old. Jimmy has been in love with Iz since he was 8. But because they grew up together, neither told the other and so begins a long, angsty filled story.
The author is very good at getting the reader to feel the emotions her characters do. I can believe she wrote this about actual people who went through these same events.
Traumas, dramas and happiness abound. HEA, for now...
Out of the three books in this series I have read so far, this is my least favorite.
Is it bad to call characters in a book idiots? These are idiots, in a way they deserved to be alone and miserable. The character development is very slow, and the plot is VERY slow in developing. It is still a good read and I love this family and the way they embrace everyone and seek out those who need them the most. I love how strong the women are and needed the men are.
Jimmy Kincaid and Izzy Hart were made for one another and have been each others best friend since they were children, they knew each other but could not communicate with each other. Sad state of affairs if there ever was one. I wanted to shake them both and then punish them both.
I think it is worth the read, just to keep up with the family and see the HEA.
Review: I absolutely love Jimmy and Iz. They’re journey to forever was littered with hardships and so much agony. I absolutely loved the date that Jimmy went on with some random girl who had a kid. She knocked some sense into him. Iz is such an incredibly strong woman. She grew up with abusive parents, learned to fight, and is now planning on raising a baby on her own. She does what’s best for her situation and stands by it, even with five strong MMA fighters and their opinions. I also loved to see Kit always having her back. Jimmy is so sweet and funny. He brings everyone together and you can’t help but love him. He steps up when he finally figures it out and I was elated! But that ending ripped me wide open and I legit cried. Emilia Finn, how could you do that to me!!?
>Book Review – Finding Forever >I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd in the Rollin On series and ends in an HEA. Jimmy and Izzy have been BFFs since they were kids. A fling for Izzy results in a devastated Jimmy and a pregnant Izzy. There are so many feelings in this story. Jimmy and Izzy have so much to work out. There is a marriage and a birth that showcases how protective and loving Jimmy really is. The way the guys all treat Bean is so sweet, especially Jack. >There is an unforeseen danger and a silly red herring that really doesn’t need to be there in order to make the book exciting. This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this story 5 stars. Jimmy’s secret is an unusual twist and so sweet to see.
I loved this book. Jim and Izzy were made for each other. You will keep a smile on your face throughout this book but basically throughout the whole series. The first book I read off Emilia Finn was Pawns In The Bishops Game (Checkmate Series), yea I kinda started backwards but I’m catching up now. I’ve loved every books of hers I’ve read so far. The love, humor, the banter back and forth, family, and all they give to each other in every one of these books is so worth the read. You will not be disappointed. You will be pulled in by every character and feel like you are there living right along with them. Thank you Emilia for some really great and awesome reads, please keep these characters going and going.
The trash talking, I can live without. This is book number three by Emilia Finn and almost ever word is cursing. But I love how all her characters love each other and have each others back. I especially appreciated how the childbirth scenes were so real right down to Iz's milk engorging her breasts hours after the birth and even the wearing of the disgusting underwear pads hospitals put on you to catch the after birth blood. And oh goodness, I'll never forget the lovemaking weekend when she woke up with breast milk all over her and Jim. Reality is not sexy sometimes but I have never read a romance book where the truth is told. Most writers ignore the yuk stuff. Cannot wait to read Aiden's story in Book # 4.
So disappointed :/ I was excited for this book because I love friends to lovers but everything went down hill after the birth scene. They suddenly just admit they’re in love and getting married?!? He carried the ring EVERY DAY FOR 5 YEARS but didn’t think to speak up when she started dating someone?? Also what is some of this dialogue, like that fight between the brothers? Moments tried too hard to be quirky or funny. Plus mentioning how strong these women are or how tiny Tink is every chapter was exhausting. WE GET IT. and the ending? Like the books been dull so let’s just slap some attempted murder and chaos into this? Nah this book was a MESS and it’s a shame because Jim’s character had so much potential

I love Izzy's and Jim's story! This was such a rollercoaster but I loved every minute of it. I have no idea if any of the I interactions between the characters are from the author's real life experiences, but she has me dying from laughter. I knew there was a twist coming and not one I expected in Izy's story. We all know the crazy ex is coming up in Tina's and Aiden's story, but I really didn't feel it in this story. It's about damn time the young sweethearts finally got to be together and it was like, really? You're not going to let them be happy? Glad Jimmy's still here though.
This pains me to write, because I freaking love the first two books. But I feel like Jimmy and Iz’s story was robbed/rushed, not sure which. They’ve literally waited almost the first two decades of life going in circles learning about their feelings. Then we literally wait over half of this entire book doing the exact same thing. Why? This is supposed to be their book and yet, here we are. Same thing all over. If she hadn’t gone in labor when she did, how much longer would we have waited? As it stood they didn’t get together after everything until almost 80% into the book. Oh well. Starting Aiden’s book now, and cannot wait! It’s always the quiet ones. 😏
If you know me, or have read any of my past reviews, then you know that Jimmy is my book boyfriend. Was I frustrated with how freaking long it took for him to get with Izzy over this series? Heck yes. But, but, but... to my saving grace... Emilia didn't make me wait this whole book to get my fav characters together. No she didnt. She confessed feelings, had a baby and then BAM.... DRAAAAAAMMMMMAAAAAA. I couldn't put it down and I had to know what was coming next. And Emilia, that heart attack you gave me at the very end... not kind. So far this is my FAVORITE (I mean, come on, Jimmy! 😍) but I can say I think that Aiden and Tina might be contenders with this whole Biggy/smalls Evie 😘
