I love writing, and I love LOVE. I've been writing seriously since 2010 and have written 35 books (and counting!) Most of them are YA and NA romantic fantasy. There's a dash of paranormal and dystopian romance in my book list as well.

I'm honored to be an Amazon bestseller and multi-award winning author of the bestselling Hidden Saga, which is a 10-book Fae fantasy romance series, the heart-pounding Crimson Accord vampire romance series.

My new Romantasy series, Age of Fae, begins with A Court Bright and Broken, which released on Valentine's Day 2025. Book 2, A Kingdom Ruthless and Radiant comes out May 23rd 2025!

I live in Rhode Island where I write in my car at the beach year round and sometimes crave the heat and humidity of Mississippi, where I grew up. I love hearing from my readers! Reach out and say hi anytime.

This ARC was everything I wanted and more! I was always a huge fan of Pharos and to see more of him(if only in my imagination thanks to the excellent description). I was rewarded!
The descriptions of people and places brought them alive in my imagination and the storyline flows so smoothly and believably and the end of each chapter left me wanting more. I read all night and finished at 4am!!
If love and alternate realms are in your interests, you will love this book, although I strongly recommend reading Books 1 & 2 first.
And the ending…..what and ending!
This is a book series I will read at least once a year!
Highly recommended reading!

I really enjoyed how this trilogy came together, and this final book ended up being a very satisfying conclusion overall.

The love triangle was frustrating in the best way it was full of tension, messy emotions, and choices that kept me invested even when I wanted to shake the characters a little. It felt intentional rather than drawn out for drama’s sake, and that made a big difference for me.

The pacing was strong throughout. I never felt bored or stuck, and the story moved confidently toward its conclusion while still giving space for character moments and emotional fallout. I especially liked how the threads from earlier books were pulled together without feeling rushed.

One of my favorite parts was the ending itself. It felt earned, emotionally grounded, and left me genuinely happy with where things landed. And that little tease toward the end? The hint of the sister’s story absolutely worked on me, yes, I want a Mareth book, immediately.

Overall, this was a great wrap-up to the Age of Fae trilogy. Frustrating, swoony, tense, and ultimately rewarding. I’m really glad I stuck with this series to the end. Thanks to the author for the gifted arc.

Thank you so much to the author for making sure I got this wonderful ending to the trilogy!

I was only supposed to read a chapter or two before I went back to the other book I’ve been reading. But this story had other plans, and 5 hours later I’m happily at the end.

I absolutely adored this series. The ending was nowhere near what I was expecting from the first book, and I’m so much happier for it. Raewyn was such a wonderful FMC. She’s strong and caring, and I love her with my whole heart. Pharis was everything I want in a MMC. While there were times I was screaming at my kindle because of his decisions, I knew how deeply he cared and how scared of it he was, and I loved him for that. The tension between the two of them was top tier. And I cannot get over

“I was willing to burn down the entire kingdom for you... Stellon chose safety and security,” he said. “I. Chose. You.… And I would do it all again, no matter how many others had to die, so that you could live. I will always choose you.”

I loved how much time we spent with the two of them, and I loved how well the storyline was wrapped up. For the moment at least the earth wives are handled, and it felt like lovely happy endings all around. And I’m so excited for the hint of Mareth’s story to come! I absolutely adored this series from start to finish, and you can bet I’ll be checking out her other series for more. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a fantasy escape!

This was a wonderfully fitting conclusion to the Age of Fae trilogy, and the complex love triangle that pitted 2 Fae Princes against each other.
Raewyn awakens to the unknown, surprised to find herself alive, and still angry at the betrayals she faced.
Now she's weakened, trapped, and held prisoner by Pharis, while Stellon believes they are both dead.
Although the infuriating prince offers her healing, care and magical training, Raewyn refuses to trust Pharis and denies the growing feelings she has.
Her goal is to return to Prince Stellon and gain her freedom, even though her heart tells her she's already home.
I loved the beauty and beast vibes in this one, it had all the sweet nods but enhanced by the chemistry burning between Pharis and Raewyn.
It's a perfect mix of forbidden love, devastating yearning, and intoxicating tension, with magical deceptions alongside.
I enjoyed the mystery and tension, and the unexpected twists and chaos.

This was the third book in the Age of Fae series. It continues straight on from where the second book finishes. I’ve absolutely loved this series so was looking forward to seeing how it ended. I flew through this book as I just couldn’t put it down. My only feedback would be, that it felt maybe a little rushed on certain parts. I am still curious about Mareth and hope to see she maybe gets her own HEA. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.

Some stories don’t just linger, they take residency.

And that’s exactly what this one did!
Pharis, a tortured soul believes he deserves nothing but pain. Raewyn, a damsel wanting nothing but love. She thought she found it with Pharis until he betrayed her. Now at his mercy, she has to play by his rules to be reunited back with her family & Stellon, the Crown Prince who loves her.

Or so she thinks…

This book (this series) wasn’t just another read, it was an experience! The yearning, restraint, and love that costs something. Needs to be felt again, and again! ❤️‍🔥

✨Forbidden Love
✨Morally Gray MMC
✨Secrets
✨Toe Curling Tension
✨ Magic
✨Deadly Deals
✨One Hot Spring 🥵
✨Slow Burn

Save this when you’re craving something that hurts beautifully.

Release date February 1st!! ❣️

I was so excited for this book after the last one ended on such a massive cliffhanger! It definitely gave strong Beauty and the Beast vibes, and I absolutely lived for it. Pharis and Raewyn’s relationship, especially the way they both deny their feelings, especially Pharis, created so much delicious tension and had me hooked the entire time.

I had a great time reading this book and the series as a whole. I would say it is closed door romance but it had ample tension, yearning and swoon-worthy banter. The love triangle was frustrating but in the way you hope a love triangle would be! I loved the plot of this book and am happy with how the series concluded. NOW I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHO MARETH’S BEAU IS!!!!

What a way to bring the trilogy to a close, and the unexpected promise of a Mareth spin-off???

Oh, there is so much to this fantastical bit of world-building that satisfies.

When we left off book two of the Age of Fae trilogy, Pharis had really pulled out all the stops with that dramatic rescue of Raewyn from the gallows in that cliffhanger ending. There was no way our lovely Raewyn could possibly trust him now, let alone Stellon.

In fact, if the girl recovered, she should just tell both princely brothers to take a hike, rejoin her family, and pray to as many gods as possible that neither the royal family or the earth wives ever cross her path again.

But that would make for a pretty quick and unsatisfying ending, wouldn’t it? Where’s the fun in that?

So, of course, we get lots of drama, time spent with both brothers and even a moment spent getting all steamed up at a local hot springs. Did I mention there was a swoon-worthy library as well? Too bad it belongs to an ass of a prince, but we can overlook that, right? I mean Pharis is extremely easy on the eyes and he reads?

Maybe he isn’t all bad then…. maybe. When he’s not being an ass anyway, but he’s still the guy I want Raewyn to end up with. Why? Because a sufficiently haunted and self-destructive morally gray guy who has a ton of red flags tucked away in his all black wardrobe is irresistible in fiction. It is the catnip to which we fantasy romance girls are drawn to even though if this guy existed in the real world we all should grab whatever senses that didn’t drop to the floor (where our panties probably are, along with our rationality) and run for the hills.

And Raewyn really should run for the hills… as soon as her health comes back, because being rescued previously by a wildly rampaging dragon when you are a fair damsel equals broken bones and puncture wounds when you are just a tender morsel without magical means to protect you.

Sigh.

Who can blame her for her choices though. Stellon and Pharis are both liars and while their motivations make sense to the both them in the heat of the moment, the truth is both men are hazardous to her health, physically, mentally and spiritually, no matter how beautiful they and their sweet kisses might be. Luckily this is fiction so it is all speed ahead and let the mayhem and Machiavellian manipulations begin!

Of course I wish there were more of Mareth and her magnificent menagerie here, but the moments she is are good ones, and the mystery around her that builds up are just tantalizing enough to tempt me to read her upcoming story.

Also, this close to the trilogy now has me wanting to dive back into author Amy Patrick’s The Hidden series (completed) where we are in the same world, but it’s now modern times, because there are Easter Eggs there for me to locate- well, that and because The Hidden books were such fun and I am overdue for a reread. That, and this trilogy’s finale finally gave me a few answers to questions I’ve had about why the modern-day elves are the way they are.

So if you have yet to read any of either the Age of Fae/The Hidden series, definitely give these a go, because they include not only entertaining storylines, characters with real depth and motivations and sweet romance and obsession that is appropriate for a wide range of ages. Yes, we get some steam and heat, but everything is cleanly told and still checkmarks romance quotas.

If you’ve already read books one and two of the Age of Fae series and wonder if it’s worth finishing up… are you nuts? Pick it up and start immediately because of course you need to know what is going to happen and who Raewyn finally ends up with!

In full disclosure, yes, I have received an advanced digital copy of the story in order to review it, but I already had a copy of preorder for the book’s official release because I will happily be adding this to my library. Being allowed to read the story early was merely icing on a very delicious cake and did not influence my review at all.

The last thing Raewyn recalls is standing on the gallows, ready to hang, when the screaming started. Now she wakes surrounded by lavish luxury in an unfamiliar room, in an unfamiliar castle. She soon realizes her host, or some would say captor, is Pharis, the Prince of Lies, someone she had thought truly cared for her, only to betray her to vial King Pontus.

As the shock begins to fade and she adjusts to her new reality, she recuperates and heals, finds allies, embraces her powers, and maybe even discovers a fragile sense of peace. Still, her pull toward Pharis is undeniable. She sees the care he gives to those around her, the man shaped by his scars, and it stirs something inside her. She wants him. But knowing he wields a compulsion glamour, how can she ever trust that her feelings are real?

This book really highlights Raewyn’s strength and growth over the course of the trilogy. Don’t get me wrong, she still faces challenges with trust and her complicated feelings toward the brothers. But her bond with Pharis just feels so right, and watching their push and pull was addictive.

Throughout this book, we really see Pharis battling his inner demons, still carrying the blame for his mother’s death. He punishes himself constantly, never lets anyone in, believing he isn’t worthy of love, yet he’s terrified of being alone and of never truly being loved. At every turn, he pushes Raewyn away, never fully considering her feelings for him. He convinces himself he knows what’s best and thrusts her back into the arms of his brother, knowing walking away will eviscerate him. But this stubborn, selfless man simply refuses to allow himself true happiness.

Stellon, on the other hand, is more than happy to be selfish and claim her as his own. He has pined for her, searched for her, and never given up hope. So when she arrives at his doorstep, he doesn’t ask questions; he just pops her in a wedding dress and is ready to walk down the aisle. I really applaud the way Amy was able to weave the narrative between the brothers’ feelings for Raewyn. It really keeps the tension high while still delivering a satisfying HEA for all.

What makes this series so special is that each book has its own unique setting and vibe while still offering the lush storyline, snarky banter, and characters you can’t help but fall for. Every new story brings surprises, delightful twists, and moments that kept me smiling from start to finish.

A Crown Splendid and Shattered picks up where the previous book left off so please do not start this series if you haven't read the previous books. This book was an okay read for me as there were things I liked and disliked about the story. I enjoyed some of the characters in this book but at times the pace of the story felt slow and I was missing the connection between Pharis and Raewyn that I had hoped to see more of in this book. There was a lot of Raewyn trying to get Pharis staff to talk to her and her constantly telling Pharis how much Stellon was better even after Pharis saved her life and risked everything for her. I felt as if her character was being a brat, difficult and unappreciative of Pharis. Then there was Pharis pushing and pulling had a lot of back and forth going on between them when I wanted him to take what he wanted, especially when it was offered. I don't want to give too much away but this story had yearning, desire, curses, broken spells, deaths, lashing, betrayal, kidnapping, a new king, a proposal and a bit more. I just wish that there was more romance in the story. I was looking forward to some heartfelt, shared moments and quality time between Pharis and Raewyn. I needed their connection to be more than spoken and non-spoken words, and although they had a few moments together here and there it wasn't enough. The epilogue was sweet and happy for Pharis, Raewyn, Stellon and Kem but it also left readers with a little cliffhanger regarding Mareth. Would I recommend this series? Yes, I would suggest readers giving it a try, just because this wasn't a five-star read for me doesn't me it won't be for others.

I am having SUCH a difficult time finding a way to verbalize how I feel about this finale. I have even toggled back & forth with how I wanted to rate it. So, I’m just going to layout my inner turmoil as best I can while avoiding spoilers & apologize in advance for my crazy.
First & foremost, I cannot stand Stellon. Didn’t like him in book 1. Didn’t like him in book 2. And shocker, I still can’t stand him! Yes, I feel the exact same way about Stefan Salvatore.

Now that that is out of the way…we segue from that epic cliffhanger in Kingdom directly into this charming Beauty & the Beast retelling, complete with a caring, attentive household staff & a library to end all libraries. But, as the story unfolds, I found myself increasingly frustrated with Raewyn & her antics. I’m utterly confused by her anger with Pharis at not telling her she’s half Elven but completely accepting of her FATHER withholding the same information. She continually questions Pharis’s character after all he continues to do for her & her family. Yes, he’s cranky & frequently says the wrong things but time & time again, his actions are incongruous with those words. And do not even get me started on her manipulation of his insecurities. GRRRR! SO FRUSTRATING!

Ultimately, I really liked how everything came together & where the story ended.. While the journey to HEA may have caused me some mental anguish & heartburn along the way, I would still recommend it.

I was anxiously awaiting this third and final book in the Age of Fae series and it did not disappoint. As always the characters make you feel the full range of emotions . There were times I wanted to myself glare at or throw something at prince Pharis and others where my heart broke at how he viewed himself.

Both Stellan and he made it hard not to fall in love with them. Loved every minute I spent reading this and am hoping for more in this beautiful world. As always this author has done. An amazing job and I would read anything she writes!

I am so happy with the ending. I loved every second of this finale. I was so glad there was a big spending moment and we were only 60 ish percent in the story. Plus Amy gave so much more after that !!! So much plot. All the drama. All the angsty love.

The characters are so unique and they can not be duplicated. Stellon continued to drive me crazy with his intelligence 😅 and Raewyn drove me crazy with her flip-flop feelings..man If I could reach through a book to strangle someone, its this one. But I'm so glad my feelings were validated in the story and it was handled in the best manner. Pharis is everrrrryyythinnnnnggggggg!!!!! He deserves anything he wants. He is the star. He is just perfect. Love love love him !!!! I love how Pharis loved her family and always did the right thing. He is just the sweetest. Amy did an amazing job because she brought so many emotions out of me !!! Lol this book had me in my feels. I finished it so fast. 2 days. I read 30-100% in the 2nd day ! Beautiful tale. I can not wait for a spinoff ! Im so happy to be apart of Amy's Glamour Girls. Thank you Amy ! Every single book you write is full of imagination and dramatic plot! You're a master storyteller. 100 stars!

Absolutely devoured this book! I was so excited when it finally hit my mailbox.

We start right where we left off, so if it has been some time since book 2, I would recommend reading the last few chapters of book 2. Doing this helped me get right into the story again.

I liked the storyline and the few moments where the chemistry between the FMC and MMC was undeniable. I wish there would have been more of those!

*the next part might contain a spoiler*

While this one is less of a love triangle then the first 2 books were, Raewyn keeps provoking Pharis by mentioning Stellon the whole time. Even after knowing deep down she belongs to Pharis. While I understood why in the beginning of the story, towards the end it annoyed me a bit...
"so while I know and feel we were meant to be, just take me to your brother he'll just love me instead".

But other than that I truly loved the story and first 2 books. It makes a wonderful story, and that epilog, can't wait to see how things will go for Mareth!

Once again I would like to thank you Amy for this ARC opportunity, congratulations on completing this trilogy!

Oh my goodness Amy! What an ending to a great series! But not really an ending is it as we will hopefully see these babies in our lovely fae sisters story we have come to love and her mysterious beau. I cannot wait for that. On another note. I loved this so much. The amount of emotions I went through in one sitting of reading this from rage, to crying, to cursing, to screaming yes, to be happy. All of the feels. The amount of times I wanted to punch both brothers though oh my lord it was unhealthy. And that thing you did at 50% that was rude; that was rude!!! It’s okay you made up for it. Revelations were made, things were brought to light. Forgiveness was given. And happiness was given all around, happy endings for everybody and I’m very happy with the choices of happy endings. Ahh this was just the perfect ending to the series honestly. Beauty and the beast retelling for sure. Burn the world for you but afraid to give himself fully to you because trauma/not feeling worthy was def on brand. Ahh. Thank you Amy for this amazing series. I cannot wait to see hopefully more of our babies and where they are at in mar’s story and to find out who her beau is.

Magic and fae are great companions, the mystery and romance are exciting and captivating. As the third and final book, I recommend reading them in order as the story is continuous. Raewyn has her hands full with both Pharis and Stellon. We start their story just where it previously ended, Raewyn rescued by Pharis and the King is dead. While she is recovering, Raewyn and Pharis get to know each other but it’s not always easy. Stellon still loves Raewyn and has no idea where she is or if she’s alive. We get to see Raewyn mature in her self confidence, her glamour, and how she copes with her new reality. The brothers are completely opposite in personality and their royal responsibilities, yet crave her love and attention. As I’ve read the series my thoughts have shifted about which suitor is best for her but this book solidified my initial feelings. I appreciate how this book is romantic, angsty and a little funny. As the finale we get a few things wrapped up and the possibility of a spin-off, hopefully. I devoured an early copy and wrote this review voluntarily.

Thank you to the author for this gifted ARC.

This Age of Fae trilogy by Amy Patrick has been an outstanding experience for me that I hate to see come to an end. I loved each one of these books for different reasons but Pharis remains my favorite brother with all of his snark any mystery.
This, the third book begins where the second left off. With the dragon flying away, Raewyn in his claws, saved from the gallows, while the Royals stood by and watched.
She wakes in an unfamiliar castle in a comfortable bed and beautiful surroundings only to find that she is unable to walk. She has been severely injured. And even worse, her host is the very person who suggested she be publicly hanged, Pharis!
Raewyn needs to get through her healing process so that she can figure out how to get back to her family, back to the prince that loves her. She is stubborn and determined to get well and get through Pharis conditions for her release.
There is something everyone forgot about though… when she started this whole thing, she made a bargain with a witch. That bargain hasn’t been fulfilled, even though the witch is dead. The debt still must be paid!
So many unexpected twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting!
An excellent end to this wonderful trilogy!

The Age of Fae trilogy is such a fun, cozy twist on classic fairytales, and this final installment leans hard into strong Beauty and the Beast vibes. It’s packed with magic, banter, family drama, and a love triangle that keeps things interesting.
It was an easy, enjoyable read that did exactly what it set out to do—entertain. The world is immersive, the characters are engaging, and it’s the kind of story you can happily get swept away in for a few hours. A solid conclusion to a trilogy that fairytale lovers will definitely appreciate.

I would like to thank Amy Patrick for the opportunity to review and review this advanced copy.

I received this book as an ARC for review. All opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.

A Crown Splendid and Shattered was a constant emotional roller coaster. As usual, Amy Patrick pulls you in from the start, and it’s hard to step away.

Just when you think things are settling down, something happens, and you’re right back to navigating the tension and tough choices that the characters must power through until the end.

If you enjoy fantasy with forbidden romance, drama, tension, and plenty of emotional ups and downs, then look no further. This is the kind of book that keeps your heart and mind engaged and leaves you yearning for more at the end!

All the best Beauty and the Beast vibes, with a slow burn love triangle that keeps you guessing right up until the end. What more could you ask for?! The perfect conclusion to yet another fantastic fantasy series by Amy! If you LOVED this series then you absolutely need to read her Hidden series which takes place in the same world. This fantasy world is my ABSOLUTE favorite and it has been such a treat to get to visit it again with characters you will fall in love with, root for, and down right scream at from time to time. Definitely a book that will have you burning that midnight oil ....WORTH IT! 😁🥰

✨ARC REVIEW (Available 2/1/26)✨

4.5⭐️

This was such a good ending to an amazing trilogy, we pick up exactly where book 2 ends so if you haven’t read book 1 (A Court Bright and Broken) or book 2 (A Kingdom Ruthless and Radiant), don’t try going into this cause you will be extremely confused. I loved how the entire trilogy was however the Beauty and The Beast vibes kind of confused me when the other 2 were leaning more towards Cinderella vibes but all in all such a good trilogy and I loved the love triangle aspect and who our FMC chose in the end

3.5 stars for A Crown Splendid and Shattered. I really liked the first 2 books in this series. While the 3rd book was good it felt alittle to rushed to me, but I was happy with the ending. It was like a beauty and the beast retelling. A great series to introduce someone to romantacy. I am really looking forward to reading about Mareth and her story. If you like fae, romance, will they won't they, magic, and light spice then this series is for you. Thank you to Amy Patrick for the eARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You had me at Amy Patrick! If she writes it, I’m going to read it and LOVE it! What a beautiful second chance love story that had me captivated from the first page! I have very few books that I will give up sleep for but this was one of them. It was so heartbreaking and wonderful and true love absolutely won. Stayed up way too late reading this book, and I don’t regret a single lost minute of sleep. Raewyn, Pharis, and Stellon's love triangle pulled me in from the very first page and broke my heart—in the best way. A few little spots that left you hanging for future stories.

I loved this book! I love the way she develops her characters, I love the way the characters interact with each other. I love that there's enough drama to keep you interested, but not so much that you're bored with it. This book drew the series to a beautiful close. I love the way this author writes. She is descriptive enough that you can picture it in your mind but not tedious on her descriptions. Her characters are real and relatable, even when they're a different race from you. :)

The perfect ending to a fantastic trilogy.

I was not originally on the ARC team for this release but I was so obsessed with books 1 and 2 that I was offered the ARC by the author and I was overjoyed!

I finished this book in 8 hours and I'm still not over it! I loved every second of it. The intrigue of what was going to happen and how things were going to be resolved did not let me stop. There is so much that occurs in this book. I was heartbroken throughout some parts and really felt so much for these characters.

This has become a trilogy that I will not ALWAYS recommend. I loved each character and their developments were perfect.

recieved this arc ebook for free. my opinions are my own.

ok so all I can say im sad that this is the last book of the age of fae series. glad theres more To come from this author. without spoilers and this is hard but its an emotional Rollercoaster, and has a lovely ending . I wanted to slap pharis a few times and punch stellon and yell at raewyn. But the storyline is great and you'll get all your questions answered from the last book.

I couldn’t put this book down! It’s full of twists and turns, with a powerful message about following your heart while remembering to choose yourself, too. Love is beautifully woven throughout the story, with just the right touch of mystery to keep the pages flying. It’s the perfect gateway into the Hidden Saga and made me want to pull out Hidden Deep and start the series all over again. Amy Patrick never disappoints—I can’t wait to see what she writes next!

First i just wanted to say that Amy Patrick’s books have been my absolute favorite. I have read her back lists but this series will be my all time favorite. I loved the characters and Pharis is definitely my favorite MMC since Rhysand and that says a lot. She did a really good job at concluding the series. The details of the story, the character growth, i adored it. However i would be lying if i was to say i wasn’t sad that the series is over, i had such a good time!
