An Illuminating read, to be sure.
I wished the book was longer, insights on white washing of Yeshua, could've been have been expounded on in greater detail. Enjoyed the book.

A quick read but informative. I don't think anything was proven but it certainly puts the Shroud of Turin into question.
If you're interested in this topic, I'd say pick this one up because you'll almost definitely read something you haven't before.

Truth or fiction?
It varies off abit and does not give enough information not proof of it claims. I am not saying I don't believe Jesus was not of a Brown complication. I just wish they stop saying black, no ones black, just like no one's white, either way we all are the same just different skin tones. The bible was constructed by these people and there for depicted Jesus and every other religious history players in their image, we get that. So why can they not admit they are of the same complication of origin just a lighter depiction? I've seen plenty of "white" men with "black" men's facial if borehole body features and mannerisms everyday. Why can the world just except we are all one in the same.

I find the arguement in this book and those like lackinng. I think the theorist have a lot more work to do before the readers are convinced. I do however, find the author's research compelling.

There's some good scholarl work on this topic. This isn't one of them. I'm giving it a 2 star, however, becasue it could serve as an intro to those works.

This book is a quick read with pictures from Roman catacombs which clearly show the earlier depictions of Jesus was Black.
