Finding You

Rate this book
One unforgettable night changes everything.

Zion Priestly has one regret—not getting the full name of the woman he’d spent the most incredible night of his life with. It’s been almost a year, and not a day goes by without him thinking about her. But when a twist of fate brings them face-to-face, Zion is shocked. Especially when she hits him with unexpected news.

Raven Shepherd thought a positive pregnancy test weeks after returning from Vegas was the biggest surprise of her life. Wrong. Running into Zion, the mystery man who she had a one-night stand with wins that award. Who knew leaving Houston to get away from her unhinged ex-boyfriend would send her into the arms of the man she hasn’t stopped dreaming about? Their sexual chemistry is even more intense than before, but Zion is younger than her—something Raven didn’t realize. As for him, he can’t seem to wrap his mind around the fact that he’s a father.

Just as they manage to push aside all the obstacles keeping them from being together, Raven’s ex shows up with a shocking revelation. Can Zion and Raven have the future they desire? Or will a master manipulator’s lies and schemes keep them from truly being a family?

Finding You by Sharon C. Cooper adds to my five-star rating. Who imagines that a night of fun in Vegas with a stranger would make twice the difference in the participants’ lives in the not-so-distant future? Although the saying goes, “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but we all know that is rarely the case. The story started with a bang when Zion stopped by his parents’ Bed and Breakfast Inn to check in with them. He was not prepared for what would be the start of an interesting evening. The person Zion met in Vegas, the same woman he never got her name, was standing next to his mother. Raven and Zion were both surprised to discover that the person neither could forget after their sensual weekend encounter was real, and not a dream.
When Raven’s friend offered her a week-long trip to a B&B in Chicago, little did they know that Raven’s life would change overnight. Furthermore, Raven took the trip to put distance between her and her delusional ex. Maximus. The man was a wealthy, pompous jerk who would not accept that Raven was no longer interested in being his wife, friend, or anything, for that matter.
Zion was a Chicago Police officer. He and his partner talked about leaving the force. They were friends with Wiz and Malik from the Reunited Series and owners of the Supreme Security Agency. And the cameo with Cameron ‘Wiz’ Miller and Malik made my day. Their appearances added to the storyline rather than detracted from the story. The skills Wiz possessed were needed to help Zion keep Raven safe and to solve the burning mystery with Maximus and his lies. There was enough mystery to keep me guessing, and the romance sizzled between Raven and Zion.
I adore reading romantic suspense, cute babies, revisits from old book friends, and passionate relationships between the main characters. The author scored high in each area. The Priestly family is making a mark in my reading world, and I look forward to the next chapters in their saga.

A night of unbridled love of a one night stand in Vegas turns into some unforgettable dreams and the surprise of a lifetime in Chicago. Zion and Raven's feelings at the onset of their beginning were just as hot and explosive as their reconnection present day.

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise, you've got TWINS, Zion, and one of the twins looks exactly like you. I'm shocked that his mother didn't notice the starking resemblance, but Aunt Gwendolyn (GiGi) sure did and brought it to Zion and his mother's attention. His mom was that busy mother who tried linking her children up so that they could meet someone, fall in love, and give her grand babies. We'll, she didn't have to do a thang in this case but love on her newly discovered grand babies.

The drama mystery romance heats up, and it was definitely a page turner from start to finish. I liked how the two were able to move forward after Zion apologized for his uncharacteristically rudeness towards Raven. Loved Zion's fierce protectiveness over Raven and the babies. He had a plan to get his baby back. They were perfect for each other!

Raven's ex. Maximus was something else! Yes, money can buy you anything but Love. He found out the hard way.
1. Why wouldn't he leave Raven alone?
2. Why was he acting unusually unhinged?
2. What had him so fixated about the twins?
You have to read the book to get the answers.

The Priestly family series is heating up, and you don't want to miss out. Daddy Priestly doesn't say much, but when he has the floor, you listen. It was a surprise to get a few blurps on a couple of characters from "Supreme Secuurity," a branch of "Atlanta's Finest"

Finding You Is A Winner!!!

I couldn't put this book down! Zion and Raven met each other while visiting Las Vegas. They felt a connection to each other, and ended up having a one night stand. They never thought they would ever run into each other again. He was a police officer in Chicago, and she was from Houston. They didn't even know each others last name. Imagine Zion's surprise when he ran into Raven at his parent's B & B! She had infant twins with her. She informed him that he was the father, but she had no way of contacting him. They ended up getting a paternity test. Zion was the father of the twins. In comes Raven's crazy ex claiming to be the father. Even though she hadn't slept with him in over a year! Maximus was a real piece of work! Zion called on his friends Wiz and Malik to investigate Maximus. It was great that those two made an appearance in the book! They always get their man! I can hardly wait to read the next in the series! I'm curious to find out how Zion's sister and his best friend will work out! I highly recommend this book as well as the first one! Thank you Sharon C. Cooper for this amazing series!!! ❤🔥

One sensational night, a lifetime of love!

One sensational night between two strangers turned out to have some great consequences for both Zion and Raven. Despite the antics of Raven's greedy ex trying to manipulate situations to fit his greed, he can't stop what love has put in motion. He quickly finds out that he is out matched by Zion and Raven and must slink back into his unhinged cage. I was glad to see the Chicago arm of Atlanta's Finest, Supreme Security Company's personnel step in to assist Zion in thwarting Raven's ex's plot. I also hope they bring Zion and Lynix into the folds of the Supreme Security family. Fans of Sharon C Cooper, as soon as this book is released, grab it, read it, sit with it, and let it envelope you. Enjoy, I sure did.

I was so anticipating Book 2 of the Priestley Family Series, and it was well worth the wait!! I loved Zion and Raven‘s story from beginning to end. They had so much chemistry together that it jumped off the pages. I like that Zion, while shocked learning about those adorable twins, knew he wanted Raven whether they were his or not. The addition of Supreme Security - Chicago was a pleasant surprise as well.

Looking forward to the next book in the series. I hope it’s Dorian and Lynix’s story!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Zion and Raven’s story. They shared a beautiful night together but didn’t exchange pertinent information not knowing that they had created two lives together that night. I like how they came back together and didn’t have any hesitations with parenting nor rekindling their relationship besides the issues that they had with Maximus. I’m glad that Christopher knew Maximus was lying and did what he needed to do to shut Maximus down and still is heavily involved in Raven’s life. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Dorian & Lynix.

Finding you

I enjoyed Zion and Raven’s story from beginning to end. It had to be fate that brought them back together. I liked them together and their easy vibe and chemistry once they were able to get past the surprise of the twins’ parentage. I’m looking forward to reading more about this family.

Whose Next?

WOW, just WOW; the second bok in the Priestly family series kept me on the edge. The second chance at love was not an easy path for Zion and Raven. The family camaraderie was touching and funny. Characters you hate and others you love. Pearls dropped have me roll I the dice on which sibling story will be next. The former stripper, or the secret lover?

This is the 2nd book in the “Priestly Family Series” and what a joy it was to read. This is an entertaining read that has romance, drama, family-oriented surprise pregnancy, disgruntled ex-boy, great characters and a plot that is oh so good. I thought what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well, I guess not so true when you have an unforgettable night with Andrew “Zion” Priestly. Raven and Zion meet in Vegas and have an incredible one-night stand and Raven ends up pregnant even though all measures where handled that should’ve prevent a pregnancy. Zion and Raven have awesome chemistry. I so loved everything about the couple. Raven’s ex-boy added mystery and mischief to the storyline. It was so great to catch up with Supreme Security and other characters from previous books.

Will there be another member added to the Supreme Security team. Who’s next in line to get their romance told by Sharon C. Cooper?

I am so loving the mystery, mayhem and romance with Sharon C. Coopers books; so, on that note Sharon please do keep them coming.

I received and ARC from the author Sharon C. Cooper and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

This second book in the series did not disappoint. The story lived up to it's expectations of the book blurb. Zion and Raven's story has been told many times - One night stand, pregnancy, reuniting and drama. Zion, aka Andrew, got everything he thought he didn't want from his one night stand. The woman who spoiled him for everyone else and a mini-me. Raven who didn't know that Andrew was alias for Zion. Their second meet up was funny. The Priestly family is something else - - especially Zion's mother, Virginia. The family will have you laughing and wondering what Virginia will say or do next. It was very developed from the beginning to the end. The ending about Raven's ex had me laughing as well, even though I should not have been. Maximus got his just due. I recommend this novel if you are looking for something fun and well written to read. Looking forward to Dorian and Lynix's story.

Amazing Read 📖🌟

Zion and Raven's love story was super sweet! 💕 It was cool how the book jumped from the present to their beginning. 📖 Max, her crazy ex, tried to stir up drama, but couldn't mess with their connection. 🚫 Zion was all about showing how much he was into her, which just made their bond stronger. He had some doubts at first, but once he was sure, he was totally committed. 💯 The whole thing was just adorable - from the twins to how his awesome family welcomed them. Loved every bit of it! ❤️

Love before Marriage

This was an AWESOME story! It had me locked in from the very beginning. Zion is EVERYTHING but Raven gave him hell anyway. Zion was truly good man and their story is one for the books. This may be my favorite well…..maybe along with ALL the others. I cant wait for Lynix and Dorian’s story!!!!

I am hooked on the Priestly Family! Raven and Zion's chemistry was felt in the first scene they reconnected. I loved how Zion immediately stepped in the role as father with the twins. Raven's ex caused many problems which Zion did not hesitate to handle to ensure his new family was safe. The help of Supreme Security was one of many great moments with this story.

A stroke of luck

Momma Priestly is getting her wish for grand babies, and I'm here for it. Zion gets another shot with the woman he can't stop thinking about and he definitely steps up to the challenge.

Zion aka Andrew and Raven are a sweet couple. According to their values, they started this courtship backwards-sex, kids, moving into together then marriage but the journey was nice. This novel is a quick light read with a little drama.

The appearance of Wiz and Malik was cool. I really enjoyed when authors bring in characters from their other novels especially if you've read those books. Wiz and Malik makes sense because Zion works for them part-time. He's part of Supreme aka Chicago's Finest.

Maximus is a piece work and Christopher is a great guy. The Priestly family as a whole are good, solid people and Zion's mom is a trip. I like her even with a crazy matchmaking.

Enjoy!!!

Found!

I love Sharon C. Cooper's books, especially her family series. The Priestly family is a new series to me. Finding You is the second in the series. It is the love story of Zion and Raven. I missed the first book in the series and can't wait to read it. I find the Priestlys even more interesting than the Jenkins so far.

I can't imagine any book being better than this one, even though I didn't rate it higher. There were a few errors that threw me off because they caught me unaware. Zion's and Raven's story of how they met was pretty usual. The one night stand with no full names given is pretty common place. So was the unexpected pregnancy.

What was unusual was how they met the second time. Zion and his family meeting Raven and his twins was not very believable. Still, I fell in love with the Priestly family and how they immediately accepted the twins.

Maximus, who was Raven's evil ex, and his manipulations were not realistic. Maximus' grandfather, Christopher, could have put a stop to Maximus' plans a lot sooner.

I loved the family and friends dynamics, and really wanted to rate the book higher in spite of parts not being very believable. Still, I can't wait to read the read of the series, especially Cree's book. Since meeting the Priestly family in this book, I'd can't wait to read the next book, Dorian and Lynix story, before reading the first one which is Nyla's and Harrison's story.
