A disappointing read but contains good resources
In preparation for a brief stay in Venice, I was hoping to get an appreciation for the city's history, a good map, and of course information on where to go, what to do, and how to do it. This book reads like a middle-schooler's essay and has many typographical errors. Nowhere is there a useable overall map of the city. Photos do not have captions. That said, I expect that I will use this for a quick reference to online resources while in Venice.
