This book contains the entire series in one handy location. The stories are very well written and easy to read. I had already read of few books from this series but I really enjoyed reading the entire series. I am only going to comment on a few of the stories as there are a lot to read. I enjoyed them all thoroughly and here are a few comments on specific ones.
Two Best Men, Only One Bed!
I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and easy to read. You don't have to have read all the previous books in order to enjoy this one. This is the story of Blake and Sean. Both are professionals in their own field and know each other peripherally. It isn't until they are planning/setting up the wedding of their brothers, Eric and Blaine, that they start spending a lot of time with each other. At the isolated venue they find that there is a mistake in planning. They are one bedroom short for the wedding. Both volunteer to crash together to ensure the wedding goes off without any additional stress. Problem is, one of them is a snuggle bunny and forgets to warn the other. Waking up with someone wrapped around them like a howler monkey tends to bring on a lot of situational awareness! Both Sean and Blake slowly open up to each other and become good friends. The problem with that, is when each of them wish it was more but are afraid to ruin what they currently have. This is the story of how their relationship develops and how they finally get their happy ever after.
This story will not disappoint. I really enjoyed the story.
Unbreak My Heart
This is book #4 of the Port Dale series. You don't have to have read the other to fully enjoy this story. Eric, a police officer, has had a lot of loss and hurt in his life. It seems like everyone he loves leaves him. In order to survive has has closed off his heart and just focuses on doing his job. His boss surprises him with a partner. Someone he wants him to teach the ropes. To his shock it is Blaine. The boy who he loved earlier in his life. Blaine left their small town full of closed minds to join the military. He wanted to establish something better for him and Eric. Eric just focused on his leaving and cut all ties immediately. Blaine is equally shocked to see Eric after so many years. But unlike Eric, he has continued to pine for and love Eric. Even if Eric didn't love him back anymore. This is a well written book that takes the reader along with Eric and Blaine as they try to sort out their relationship. Or if they can even have a relationship. I really enjoyed reading their story. It is a well written book and flows nicely.
Where There's Smoke . . .
A heartwarming story. It is well written and heart wrenching at times. This is the story of Matt and Ethan. Matt is a gay firefighter who has a lot of demands in his life. He continually looks on the bright side of everyone and everything. Trying to keep his mom's optimism and love in the forefront. His work environment has gotten a lot better since the addition of another gay couple at the fire hall. But his major problem is a fellow firefighter who is homophobic and continues to cause friction at work. Imagine his surprise when he meets Ethan. Ethan is a closeted gay and the only family to the homophobic firefighter Keith. Ethan is a unexpectedly retired military member due to an injury while serving. He is a bit lost and at sea. He goes home to spend time with his brother Keith while he comes to terms with his injury and plans a new path in his life. Meeting Matt was a surprise to Ethan. The chemistry between the two of them sent sparks everywhere. There are a lot of emotional problems for both Matt and Ethan to overcome if they want to have a loving relationship. This book takes you through that journey.
Drawing the Doctor
A well written romance. I really enjoyed this book. I am not usually a fan of age gap stories but I was enthralled by Grant and Theo's story. Grant is a doctor and is helping out in the emergency room section when he meets Theo for the first time. Theo is young artist who is covered in impressive tattoos and piercings. The circumstances of their meeting are as funny as they are embarrassing. I liked the ebb and flow of the story; from one persons viewpoint to another. I enjoyed how they got to know each other and their individual quirks. It wasn't an insta-love situation.
You really can't go wrong with any book in this series. I loved having them all together in one location.

OUTSTANDING SERIES 10/10 A few reviews of some of the books A fantastic collection of books Two Straights Too Many Oh la la la la These two are just perfect for each other!! Elias and Cade have been best friends for years, they met at work. Both are fire fighters and loving life. Cade is a bit of a womanizer although he is always honest with the women he sees, its only for one night. Cade isn't looking for a relationship. Elias also enjoys a night out with a woman but he is more picky. They are so close that the guys at the station have always questioned their friendship saying they are " very close" But they laugh it off. Cade is having a problem with one woman. Christine wants to tame him and it gives cade the cold sweats so when he is forced to go to a party he begs Elias to come with him to be his blocker. Elias isn't happy but he knows he will do anything for his best friend so ends up agreeing when he his bribed with a evening of beers and a video game session when they get home. Cade starts to drink heavily as Elias is late for the party, so when Christine comes over and starts to question Cade, he starts to panic. So when he says he is seeing someone, she asks where she is because if you had someone you would ask them to the party and Cade says yes "he's here." Elias being his best friend just plays the part of his boyfriend without missing a beat. Christine isn't sure but hopes they have a good night but she has a look of a woman going to make trouble. Now that Cade has said it, its leaves the best friends is a sticky situation. They must pretend to be boyfriends. But everything changes the next day when Christine starts stirring the pot!!! Can they do this or will feelings get in the way??? This book had everything. A love story. the banter that two best friends have. A woman who needs to learn not to get everything she wants. And dont even get me started with Cade's mother!!!! She is awful and should never of had children. I really liked Elias and Cade. They are cute together even before anything happened. But just didnt see what was right in front of them. Its a brilliant read and I didnt want it to end. This is a fantastic first book in a new series Heroes of Fort Dale. Romeo Alexander has dont it again! super excited for the next book. Two Best Men, Only One Bed Jumping up and down so happy!!!!!! Firstly it was great to be back in the life of Blaine and Eric. We are blessed to go to their wedding and they both picked a best man so Blaine picked his twin brother Blake and Eric picked his older brother Sean. Blake is a joker and he enjoys Riling up Eric as much as he can much to the pains of Blaine Who has to get Eric to calm down again. He’s never really settled down, the women he dates never really meant that much to him he’s just never found the right one. Sean is the quiet one that is until you get a drink inside him and then he is a very happy drunk who gets quite flirty. But Blake and Sean have to spend a lot of time together to help plan this wedding and get everything ready. And they hit it off really well the banter is just electric and it’s kind of like flirting but without anything to back it up. Then there is an issue with the sleeping arrangement at the lodge and it ends up that Blake and Sean have to share a bed. Both boys don’t mind and don’t make a big issue of it. But Blake wakes up to find that Sean is cuddling him and he’s a very happy man in the mornings. Blake doesn’t know how to handle it but as usual he Makes a joke about it to Sean who apologises. But could this be the start of something that these two never saw coming??? This is a brilliant book I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through with the biggest smile on my face. It was exhilarating to read!!!! I cannot recommend this book highly enough because honestly it’s left me so happy full of energy because these two are just magical together!!!! outstanding read totally blew me away. I cannot wait to see what Romeo has for us next. Bring it on.

As with the "Men of Port Dale - Complete Series," the "Heros of Port Dale" compendium contains all of the books in the series, with each story following straight after the previous one. Likewise, there are crossover characters and events in both series.
Therefore, ongoing plotlines are added into each new tale, whether from the book before or from two books prior. This gives readers a feeling of continuity as the series rolls along.
I have two issues, the first from Men Of Port Dale, where the intro novella (Book #0.5) is not included and has to be downloaded by signing up to the author's newsletter. It is listed on Amazon with the rest of the series, but the link to purchase the 40-page (approx) short story goes nowhere.
The second is that characters rarely walk around. Instead, they STOMP everywhere, and it seemed like I was highlighting the words "stomp, "stomping, "and "stomped" every second page or so, with a "ditto note" from the first few few detailed notes.
There is a reason why books like dictionaries and a good Thesaurus are available at little cost - the Thesaurus alone gives plenty of suggestions for synonyms, removing the need for such repetition.
In addition, the number of grammatical errors was higher than I have found in other writers' works, and whilst I won't pontificate on all of them, I will say that good writing is essential (I come to a complete stop as I speed-read, because errors stick out like a sore thumb). For many readers, English lessons on works like Jane Austin from a couple of centuries ago were boring and too much like hard work, and students either switched off or stopped attending.
Now, as adults, they may often take their cues from books they actually find interesting, and a book with bad grammar will affect their everyday writing habits. This is especially true for those for whom English is a second language. On social media, I come across so many mistakes (not the "R U OK" ones...) because their teaching and reading habits have left them without a working knowledge of simple, good English.
It is up to authors to look beyond the sex scenes, shooting, and explosions, and to ensure that their own tales are well-written, no matter the subject, or MM or MF tropes. All good writing helps others who need to hone their use of our language, regardless of whether it might be American or British English.
In a town full of firefighters, cops, doctors, and bodyguards, there is plenty of drama going on in their lives, especially as they find each other and fall in love. The author takes us to Port Dale to meet the wonderful characters who just might find the perfect partner to make their lives complete. Below is a review of one of the stories to give you an idea of what you will find. Enjoy!
Titles included in this series are:
💥 TWO STRAIGHTS TOO MANY 💥 HIT OR MISS, TO KILL OR KISS 💥 DRAWING THE DOCTOR 💥 UNBREAK MY HEART 💥 WHERE WE LEFT OFF 💥 TWO BEST MEN, ONLY ONE BED 💥 WHERE THERE’S SMOKE…
*** Reviewing “💔 UNBREAK MY HEART” *** Blaine Edwards went into the military after high school and, after his 8 years of service, he’s looking for a job that will suit him. He is hired as a police officer and finds that his new partner is his high school love, Eric. Eric feels that everyone that ever mattered to him walks away. He is angry. But seeing Eric again, Blaine knows he wants him back in his life. And although Eric tries to convince both Blaine and himself that it’s over between them, Blaine thinks there is still something there.
With the combination of working together on the job, and with support from their respective brothers, they begin to work out the issues that came between them. Can Blaine convince Eric that their relationship still has a chance? Can he convince him he can trust him and that he is not going to leave him?
The characters quickly draw the reader in. Blaine is gentle and persistent, definitely giving out the vibe that he is dependable and worthy of trust. Eric is afraid to trust because of his personal history of people walking out of his life, so he is afraid to count on anyone. Now they have a second chance to clear up the misunderstandings and decide what each of them really wants. Will Eric give him a chance? Or is it too late to reconcile the past?
Cards on the table I am an established fan of Romeo Alexander's works. He creates well rounded characters, with individual personalities and places them in intriguing, satisfying stories.
This boxset is a wonderful opportunity/prompt to dive (back) into the world of Port Dale, in one handy volume.
Two Straights Too Many is a favorite, one I often revisit with delicious fake dating/friends to lovers tropes with just enough Angst.
Hit or Miss, Kill or Kiss is a deliciously different setting, with some ambiguous morals, greyer setting, but fizzing with chemistry and just enough intrigue and uncertainty to keep you hooked.
Drawing the Doctor sees characters overcoming low mental health, doubt and anxiety with trust, communication, time (and lurve...)
Unbreak My Heart: Classic second chance romance, real heartbreak, learning to trust and love again. Loved this, seeing characters grow and recover faith.
Where we Left Off. Another beautiful story of true connection, hurdles to overcome, courage, trust and well deserved HEA.
Two Best Men, Only One Bed - all that's good about the trope. Bi Awakening, building friendship becoming more. Complicated relationships, real connection.
All bookended with Where There's Smoke, another often reread story for me, with immediate connection having to overcome external hurdles and doing so with style and a warm HEA.
Definitely recommend this collection, it has a wide range of tropes, stories and relationships within an interconnecting universe.

In a town full of firefighters, cops, doctors, bodyguards, and even an assassin, love shows up messy, unexpected, and unforgettable. Book 1: Elias & Cade: 2 firemen, best friends both straight. One night to get someone off his back, Cade tells her he's dating Elias. Friends turn into more. Book 2: Clay & Elliot: Assassin & Bodyguard. Clay is hired to murder the Elliot's client. Elliot tries to convince him it's not worth it. Book 3: Theo & Grant: Frustrated Artist & Doctor. Chance ER meeting, slight age Gap. Theo is an artist afraid to let people in, Grant is the doctor who broke down his walls Book 4: Eric & Blaine: Second chances. Blaine left Port Dale to join the military without a word. Eric was the boy he left behind. 8 Years later Blaine is back & working at the same police station as Eric. Will they get their second chance? Book 5: Tyler & Nate: Second chances, Best friends torn apart. One gay the other closeted. Tyler comes home for the summer, Nate is the mayor’s son home due to grades failing. They meet up again after getting caught kissing & being separated as teens. Book 6: Blake & Sean: Brothers to Eric & Blaine. Gay awakening. While helping prepare their respective brother's wedding, sparks fly after a night of sleep cuddling. Book 7: Matt & Ethan: Matt a firefighter, Ethan the brother of Matt’s co-worker. Ethan’s brother Keith, who doesn’t know Ethan is gay, catches Ethan & Matt kissing & flies off the roof in anger. This series has a bit of everything. Light-hearted, low angst, all HEA, well written series. I was offered a review copy & this is my honest opinion.
Heroes of Port Dale-2 Hit or Miss, to Kill or Kiss by Romeo Alexander
Oh, how can you go wrong with an assassin and an ex-marine? HOT. I couldn't put it down.
Clay the assassin has been happy with the job he has; being able to kill those who deserve it also helps. But as time has gone on, it's starting to get old. The coming in of a new contract brings excitement again. The target that he is hired to take out has a bodyguard who keeps getting in the way of him taking the target out. It makes having the bodyguard keep stopping him from taking the target out make him work harder after he stops him, not only once but twice, by standing between him and the target. This has brought his world upside down since this has not happened before.
Elliot's life changed the day he left the Marines. He became a personal bodyguard. So the day he came across an assassin trying to take out the man he was hired to keep safe was shocking. How can he think that the man not only has beautiful eyes but that I feel I can trust him? How can his life have led up to here? He protects, but also Clay kills. Can what they feel for each other have a future, or will it crash and burn?
I loved this story. I'm addicted to this style of story, so it hit all my buttons. This author has become someone I will read a lot more from.
Two Straights Too Many Elias and Cade are firefighters working in the same house, and they are best friends. Caden's mom makes him go to lunch. He dragged Elias with him because Cade couldn't stand that his mom was always in him about dating someone with her social standards. In cones, Christine corners Cade into getting together. Not wanting to, he tells her, so he tells her he's in a relationship and the lucky person was Elias. That was the start of it all. I enjoyed this book. You won't be disappointed.
Unbreak My Heart Eric and Blaine started as friends, then best friends, andd after high school they became more than friends. Eric has a thing about people leaving home. It started when his parents died, his siblings with the exception of his brother Sean did not want him. So when Blaine decided to sign up for the military Eric lost it. There was no contact for 8 years. Until one day Blaine walked into Eric's police station. Turn out they are going to be new partners. Another great story.
I will update my review as I finish each book.

I read all of the books in this series last year, but I’m a sucker for book bundles! It makes it so easy to binge read when you have them all together! And this new cover is beautiful!!
I love this entire series. Each book follows a different couple. Each with their own unique stories, and there are also a few easter eggs here and there. Of all 7 books, Drawing the Doctor is my FAVORITE!
Drawing the Doctor Book 3
This is my favorite book in this series. I laughed my booty off reading the first several chapters of this book. Theo is a man after my own heart, an artist with an attitude. He’s hot, he’s confident, and he’s hilarious! I love Grant too, I love him for Theo. The meet cute in this book is one of the funniest, most original I have EVER read! I laughed until I cried. Seriously, it's one of the greatest scenes of all time. You have to read it. You just have to!
I was so excited to get my hands on this collection! I have been a fan of Romeo Alexander's books since I discovered and fell in love with "Glamorous" four years ago, and yet I somehow haven't read any of the books in this series. "Hit or Miss, to Kill or Kiss" was my favorite. I absolutely loved Clay and Elliot- the dynamic between them, the unique positions they are in, and their chemistry was fire! "Two Best Men, Only One Bed" was a very close second. Loved Sean and Blake and the double bi-awakening, plus Blake's twin brother and Sean's little brother are getting married. Such a fun story. I also loved "Where We Left Off"- a second chance between childhood best friends rekindling old feelings, but danger from a controlling father. I loved both Nate and Tyler and wanted so much for them. Each story was amazing; I loved them all and I definitely recommend grabbing this collection! 5 stars.
Port Dale is the town located next to the Army base Fort Dale. That series sticks close to its military roots. The seven books of Port Dale revolve around the lives of men in the town, starting and ending with firefighters and a great mix in between. I like Romeo Alexander’s work and book two in this bundle Hit or Miss, Kill or Kiss was really well done and one of my favorites of his. I read all of the books as standalones back in 2020 but a bundle release is a binge reader’s dream, especially if you plan to re-read this series.
Oh my stars! These group of men are absolutely amazingly delightful! The men have some hisstory and some drag some heavy baggage that just make them hotter and more intriguing. Most of the men have challenges in their lives that make working through relationships more exciting and challenging. They each EARN their HEA! Great series, fantasstic reading, well done! Romeo, creates the best characters that make it hard to put the books down after their read. I received an ARC and am happily leaving a review.
I loved this collection of books. Not only does it give you the stories from Port Dale all at your fingertips but it also gives it a great chronological order and easier to keep track of things as I read.
I will be honest and my favorite stories were Hit or Miss, To Kill or Kiss and Where we left off
Clay and Elliot just spoke to me and then add in Tyler and Nathan and it was just amazing to see proof that found family is sometimes stronger than blood family.

An amazing box set. This box set has seven stories following seven different couples. Firefighters, cops, bodyguards and doctors all looking and finding the one man that completes them. Bestfriends becoming lovers, bodyguard falling for a killer, patient and doctor, second chance at love for two cops and two young men, two best men falling in love, and a firefighter falling for his coworkers brother. Loved reading this box set. Thanx.

Romeo always captures my attention with his characters. His stories always have an edge to them, even when they're on the sweeter side of his writing, and the Heroes are no exception. Seven stories, all with a different trope, but all great and it's hard to pick a favourite story or couple. They can be read as standalones though there are some connections through the series, but not in such a way as to make it imperative to read them all if you don't want to... but why wouldn't you? A lot of pages and a lot to love.
I can't keep all the characters sorted, so I'll concentrate on three: Theo the artist, Matt the fireman, and Ethan, the cop. Theo is the son of one of Port Dale's founding families and an artist who falls in love with a doctor who bought one of Theo's paintings at a gallery show. Matt is a gay fireman who gets along with everyone in the firehouse except Keith, and Ethan is Keith's younger brother and also gay. Keith can't accept that Ethan is gay, and Ethan leaves the firehouse to become a policeman. Ethan then tells Keith that if he has a problem, he can find him at Matt's. Great book.
A long list of swooning, romance, matches made in fiction heaven. All set in the fabulous town of Port Dale. The mix of straight men, second chance romances, age gaps, and a litany of different careers. If you've already read these books, they are worth a re-read. Fall in love all over again with the uniquely wonderful Heroes of Port Dale.

Having a whole series available in one ebook is a great experience. It makes it so easy to just stay lost in the author's world. While there are some plots that continue on through multiple books (like the arsonist), none of these are so influential as to make it difficult to read each individual book as a standalone. There's a wide variety of first responder MCs, all with different backgrounds, struggles, and HEAs.
I have read all of these stories separately but there was something really nice about reading the bundle. I turned the page from one story to another and I enjoyed visiting with the men of Port Dale again. There were so many different things going on with these couples and so many heroes - firefighters, police and doctors - and even assassins for a bit of variety. So worth the time to read this bundle.

The complete Heroes of Port Dale in one great collection. I enjoyed reading the seven stories in this M/M series. There is fake dating, friends-to-lovers, opposites attract, and hurt/comfort with protective heroes, broken men, and high-stakes happily ever afters. I found the stories to be well worth reading. This is a new Author to me. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love a good complete series. Binge-reading all the books brings me joy. I liked some characters more than others, same goes for the stories. However, overall I really liked it. There is something in for everyone. I like the writing of Romeo Alexander a lot. Go check out every story, or just dive not so straight in to this very enjoyable series, and hours of joy, good writing, spicy times and HEAs.
What is there to not like? Bi-awakenings provides curiosity which then leads to some great reading and throw in someone in a uniform, well now there's frosting to the cake. All together in a complere series, now the cake has some sprinkles.

I am a fan of Romeo Alexander's books and have read most of the Heroes of Port Dale Series. So, to find them all together was a dream come true. I spent a couple of days just binge reading the series. I loved the stories the first time I read them, and I love them even more now. Great series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I'm glad all these books are in one set. I had read some of these stories before but it was so much better to read all of them together. I liked that someone in uniform was included along with the discovery of new awakenings of feelings.
Straights, best friends, age gap second chance all in one neat little bundle! Firefighters, cops, doctors, and Assassin and of course bodyguards! This is the complete series of Port Dale all in one snug package! If you have read a few like I have you will totally enjoy reading them again! Just wish more authors would do this with their series!!
This complete series brings together seven swoony, spicy love stories set in the small town of Port Dale. With firefighters, cops, doctors, and more, each story delivers a feel-good blend of romance, heat, and HEAs.

Seven fantastic stories of the heroes of Port Dale, a fictional town that I've come to love. I'd read some of these prior, but having them all in a single collection is great. I think the second story is my fave of the series and I enjoyed getting to read it again.

I had read the first two books from this series before but hadn’t had a chance to get the rest so getting the Heroes of Port Dale complete boxset was great, I was able to reread the ones I’d already read and then continue the series in one go which was great, the series is a great read which I would recommend reading.
I loved this series I had read a couple of the books but not all. I really enjoyed reading each book in the order intended. These books are so well written and the characters are so well developed and their chemistry off the charts. I highly recommend reading them.
