Aurora Tabard is ushered to Hampton Court by King Henry’s Lycan henchman, and her lover’s sworn enemy, Lord Emeric. With Marcus left behind, Aurora must fend for herself in a world full of greedy men and treacherous wolves.

Once she knows her brother is safe, she must convince the King to restore their family lands. But the King has other plans for her—plans that could tear her and Marcus apart forever.

When Marcus arrives at court with a proposal the King can’t refuse, Aurora becomes the pawn in a Lycan’s game. Both Lycans want her hand, but only one can have her heart.

As Aurora’s uncertainties rise to the surface, and lies become reality, she discovers that those she thought she could trust might just be her worst enemies.

With her love for Marcus in question and her family name on the line, Aurora will learn a hard truth—fate is divine, destiny is a choice.

This was the second book to the Highborn Chronicals and it was just as wonderful as the first book in this series. I can hardly wait to read the next one. Great story line and if you like shifter romances you will like this book as well as the first.Tammy Farrell does a great job in bring out the story line making you feel like you are right in the story with them. there was a few times I didn't realize I was holding my breath .wonderful, great,

I liked this one even better than the first one. The twist at the end was very surprising (and I love surprises). This book is definitely a rare find for me as I'm neither a Lycan nor erotica fan. The story is addicting and perfectly paced. I found this true in the Lycan Master, the first book of the Highborn Chronicles, and also with Tammy Farrell's The Darkness of Light (The Dia Chronicles). I can't wait to read the next one

Second book of the series

I read these two books together. They are both very good and I have the next book all ready. More happens in this book with more surprises revealed. Some good and some bad. All books were .99 each. They are some what cliffhangers because you want to know what happens next. Would recommend the entire series. Will let you know when I finish the next books. I can kind of guess where it will start and will be curious as to how it ends.
