Does Kendra have what it takes to deal with the pressures that come with her day job while allowing Sebastian to handle her at night? Kendra is a bundle of nerves when she walks into the office of Sebastian Montoya. To say his reputation precedes him is a gross understatement. Immediately she sees that the larger than life architect has an even bigger ego. The mystery that surrounds him is hypnotizing. There is just something about him that draws her in. He oozes sexuality and his lilting Spanish accent makes her insides flutter. But as she learns, architecture isn't his only talent. A hot and steamy night at work leads to far more than she could ever expect.

This could have been good. But the lack of editing turned me off - silly mistakes like each and ever and 'and' instead of 'an', and other such errors.
I know that a lot of books in this genre are written by authors looking for a quick buck, but writing is an art and should be treated as such. Even if a work is offered for free, that's no excuse.
a very hot and quickie book, still can't believe I finished in less than a day, but overall interesting quick and hot novella. BUT it very jumpy from his pony to hers to it got me a little confused, but besides minor grammar fails it's pretty good and hot quickie
The first was a free read and the whole series was cheap enough that I figured I might as well finish it. There were too many grammatical errors, at one point one of the characters thinks about how he lovers her. I just couldn't take it seriously with that and many other inconsistencies.
Excellent! It was completely engaging. With the antics the main characters performed throughout the story you could easily dis liked them but characters were so well defined that this never becomes a issue.
I downloaded Rush the first book for free and then downloaded the whole series for like $2.00, but I swear I only read 2 books, I never remember reading book 3 or 4...so not sure there. This was very Fifty Shades inspired so much so...that main female's character's mom's name was Anna and female villain was name Elena - so close to Bitch Troll from Fifty Shades....there are thousands of other names one could have picked from. Then there was the grammatical errors and editing errors, I'm not sure if this was a translation and that's why the words were sometimes used wrong, but the author and or editor/publisher if there were any needs to reread and delete the previous copy. Also there were things that would happen where it was like the author forgot the previous story - perfect example - Sebastian introduces Kendra to his Uncle, but then author references the man being his father, who we already know is dead....so the author needs to do a better job of reading and knowing her story...it's not always about being the next Fifty Shades inspired novel, God knows there are tons of them....there has to be a story.
Sexual tension between the characters was good, I'm never a fan of someone referencing the woman character as being a "slut" while having sex with them. I feel that the whole innocent female role out of no where asking to be a submissive was whack....if she didn't even know the lifestyle she wouldn't know to ask....I feel like the author previously wrote a part that perhaps was missing. I always feel like these stories are rushed and that's where they differ from Fifty Shades...that was 3 seriously long reads.
I do like these characters.....I like the setting of Spain, I enjoy the role of an older brother being a confidant. I feel the story ended abruptly unless of course I just missed the last two books, still not sure
I don't even know where to start, it could've been so much better. I had a couple issues with the storyline/characters but nothing unforgivable. But honestly I want to give it 1 star just for all the mistakes and errors in here. This book is way too short to have so many mistakes. It seriously needs an editor. There were words randomly there for no reason, and wrongly placed/used words, whole sentences didn't make sense. There was a part in book four where he introduced his uncle, and then the next paragraph it said father instead , then back to uncle the rest of the times. There were missing quotation marks, Then at the end there was a dialogue order didn't make any sense.
It said:::
"He was embezzling money from the company and for the most part covering his tracks. I didn't know about it, because these were the things he was in charge of. Elena was helping him launder money and apparently they had gotten in too deep."
"Which is why they set you up and tried to blackmail you."
"Mmhmm. My uncle wired me up and all I had to do was get a confession."
"Actually, it was. Once they admitted to extortion that was all they needed.........." (See? the last one makes sense too, just not right there! It's like a whole piece was missing from the conversation.)
And I could get over that if the errors weren't so excessive.....but there were way too many and it took away from the book a lot, I had to re-read whole paragraphs and decode the intended meaning way to often. It was very frustrating. Right now I'm giving it three stars for story, because I could've liked so much more if a few things were tweaked, but I cant get over all the errors, so my rating may change.
WOW....I loved the story but, the grammar mistakes and lack of editing leaves a lot to be desired. This story is about a young American woman who has the opportunity to be mentored in her field by "the best" and she goes to Barcelona to take advantage of this amazing opportunity. There is an instant connection between Kendra and her boss Sebastian. He immediately takes a liking to her and goes above and beyond with her like taking her to see the city. There is so much beautiful, well known architecture in Barcelona, in my opinion, if you take the time to indicate what city they are in then when seeing the city they should have visited the La Sagrada Familia or Torre Agbar, or any of the other top ten places to see when in Barcelona. The point is if you take the time to say Kendra had never been there and Sebastian is going to shown her around then see something. The romance between Kendra and Sebastian is hot and provocative from the start. I also like to connection between Kendra and her brother who she calls for advise. The unexpected twists of the business partner and Elaina add an additional layer to the story. The author knows how to leave you wanting more AND despite all the errors you will still want to read the 4 part series COVER TO COVER. Its a great quick read. Just remember to put your red correction pen away!!!!!
I am afraid the Rush series will be my first and last. Sebastian is our alpha male and he is very demanding and controlling in a very sexy passionate way. Kendra is our smart beautiful and a little self conscious female character who of course immediately wants Sebastian and vice versa. The sex escalated quickly with no real rhyme or reason to it. I gave the series the benefit of the doubt because the first book was not a completely horrible read and had the possibility to get better
Well........it didn't, I was disappointed at the fact the story had some good plot twists (for the little plot it had) and could have been a good read if it had more development and was better written. The main theme through the entireseries is that it all was very rushed. I am not going to put up reviews for the rest of the series because its all the same. poorly written, grammar issues and just a lot of sex with no reason and feeling unexplained. I
I read the first book free and received the collection after reviewing the first. In my review of book 1, I said that I was not a fan of BD and that remains, however, the characters were likeable and rather than just sex, there was a plot line throughout the collection. I found the plot twist before the end was maybe a little under developed and could have benefited from an extra 200 words to justify the uncle's involvement I the last book. In general, I gave this collection 3 stars because despite the numerous editing errors, the series has potential for entertainment value. An editing overhaul will be beneficial and judging by other reviews would generally speaking probably allow higher ratings.
I am curious to see whether the other collections have better editing. If so, I would likely read them too.
I liked it because there was an actual story to follow that captivated my interest. It was not just about the act , relationship dynamics created the entrege to keep reading
This was the first book from this writer I have read and I would like to read the serial. Probably best to start at the beginning.lol
Loved it ! Just ended way to soon ,I was on this from the first. Cha he last in one day! Will be reading more of Lucia Jordan's series!!going to download new one now

The story itself wans't half bad, even though it was a short novel. The lack of editing and constant grammar mistakes however made it difficult to concentrate on what was going on. One second is an uncle the next is his father and so on... Could have been better.
While I found the story vaguely interesting and the erotic scenes explosive, I was appalled at the grammatical errors. Mistakes like confusing pronouns, and jumbled punctuation made the story difficult to read, and subtracted from it's potential.
This series was a rush from beginning to the end. I loved the way you get so caught up in the book you have to keep reading it you don't want to put it down
Not bad... spell check is a wonderful invention you should use it. Over all good story line felt like it was rushed at the end. Good title was how fast the book went.
