After completing a blood assignment, FEAR shows up to collect what he is owed and runs head on into trouble he thought was left far in the past. This new turn of events puts him at odds with the most powerful opponent he could imagine, and the stakes become life or death. With his back against the wall, Fear must speed up the process of abducting Eureka and Anton into the ranks of L.O.E, Loyalty Over Everything. But will Anton and Eureka's loyalty help Fear prevail against his enemies or will their loyalty to one another turn them against him? Amidst this heart-thumping, blood racing battle lies an unforeseen enemy, who's like Satan reincarnated. As the duplicitous plot unfolds, who will find themselves Baptized in Unholy Water when the masks comes off and the fact is unveiled that THE DEVIL WEARS TIMBS.
The Devil Wears Timbs II picks up right where it left off in book one with Fear trying to form an alliance with his main sidekick, Constance, and the young brother-sister duo, Anton & Eureka. But partnerships are hard to form with Constance determined she will not share Fear with anyone. History shows that she is willing to do anything to maintain her position. No matter what he says, her demented mind will just not let it drop that they are business partners only. Maybe this time she’ll hear him….or maybe not.
Malvo gets grimier with each interaction. He doesn’t care who he crosses as long as his desires are met. Greed fuels every exchange for the man who sees himself as god and certainly just as untouchable. But how much dirt can one person dish out to others before it comes back around to be accounted for? Craftiness is his drug of choice, a jones he chooses to feed incessantly.
World-weary and orphaned, leaves two kids with only each other and a strong desire to survive only for the sake of the other. Life has shown them that the only things they can expect are disappointments, deception and heartache. With nothing to lose, they throw all caution to the wind and pour everything they’ve got into the life of guns, murder and mayhem.
Tranay’s first novel was a real page turner, but this next installment shoots right to the top of the charts. It’s hard to believe these are his first books, as he writes with a skill and precision that belies his infancy in the literary arena. His words flutter over my senses like silk, at times flowing almost poetically. He weaves intense action with tenderness and characters that, although flawed, we are able to see their humanity. There is definitely a multi-dimensional element present in his writing. Although urban fiction is his chosen genre, with little effort I can see him writing just as well in the literary fiction genre. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from him and seeing where his gift takes him next. 5 stars ______ Reviewed by Tumika

Omg!!! What just happened? Man Tranay you did your thing with this one!!! Malvo was still up to his old ways and did the unthinkable when he should've been protecting those he considered family. Crunch doesn't have any type of backbone and failed to realize the one person he looked up to was on some straight bs. Constance seems as if she doesn't know when to leave well enough alone!!! No matter how many signs or words are thrown her way it seems as if she doesn't comprehend at all. Fear is a mess and truly began to realize how he got his name once meeting with Bemmy. Oooh Eureka and Anton are getting down and dirty. Man Ronny had me so mad with him because he was nothing as mofo instead of doing what was needed to see his family. Constance was playing foul and thought for sure she would be able to rid herself of her competition. Once Fear realized with Constance had done and was doing all along I was glad he dealt with the situation but was hoping he took it a step further. Man really Giselle?!! I can't believe that chick would even cross the ones that were trying so hard to keep her safe and get her help. I swear her ass deserves everything that comes her way for the bs she pulled. I need Fear to have a sit down and actually think things through and realize it's not what he's thinking. Just when things were looking up for Eureka and Anton they were thrown yet another curveball. Smh!!! I can't wait for part 3!!! Has karma finally paid Malvo a visit he won't be able to escape, will Giselle find a way to redeem herself for hurting the ones that had nothing but unconditionally love for her, will Fear realize his two protégés did nothing wrong, and most importantly will the Devil herself get whats due to her??!!
Book 2 picks up where 1 left off. Malvo is still grimy as all get out. Crunch has no backbone whatsoever. Constance has it BAD for Fear & will do anything to anyone to make sure it's just the two of them. But shit hits the fan when he finally opens his eyes and hears the truth behind her devious deeds. Giselle is finally found but she puts her kids at risk with her foolishness. Can't wait to read part 3 & see how this will end!
I can't wait till the next book. Gisele is foul as hell for what she did. Fear shouldn't have let Constance live. I think he will regret that decision. I love your writing style. Keep up the good work.
I just can't get over the extremes that Constance takes just for the sake of loving and wanting Fear....straight devil....Giselle (smh) thieving the way she did is going to cause major unwanted problems. I hope Fear discovers that Anton and Eureka are innocent....
Tranay has done it again. I finished part 1 and immediately started on this one. It picked up right where part 1 ended. I didn't stop reading until I was done. Fear is definitely the man. He's my book bae of the day. I'm about to jump right into part 3.
That was good. Great sequel. The only thing i did not like was the ending. I mean the ending was good and it brings a good way to part three, but it jammed all three scenarios in one chapter.
