In the summer of 1993, a tight-knit group of kids in a small, rural Maine town witnessed an unspeakable act. It was a horrific crime perpetuated by Mr. Witcher, a man who was driven by an inner demon that lived deep within his tortured soul. Nearly twenty years later, these friends are drawn together again to their home town. But their reunion was bittersweet, Mr. Witcher's demon was now coming for them. "Mr. Witcher" is a story of fear and friendship, of love and desperation, and a story that is much more than what it seems. So, keep your lights on, your shades drawn, your doors locked, and don't make a sound. Mr. Witcher's demon could be coming for you.....
Born and raised in the small town of Milo, Maine, Thomas Washburn Jr. discovered a passion for writing, art and storytelling at a young age. Fueled by an over active imagination he spent countless hours working on his creations, getting lost in the worlds of the stories he created.
As Thomas grew older his passions changed from writing, literature and art to music. He spent several years from 1995 to 2012 playing in various bands, playing hundreds of shows around Maine, New England & Canada. Writing lyrics for the bands he played in gave him a chance to tell stories through a different medium. During that time period he also wrote several unpublished screenplays. After semi-retiring from music in 2012 Thomas rediscovered his passion for writing and in 2013 released his first novel The Returners.
Thomas is currently the author of over a dozen published works.

meh. I started out thinking this was going to be a good read. And it was alright. I think the plot just felt to "easy" for me. Of course they were all drawn back to that little town! Even the super famous guy! Of course his girl is waiting for him. Of course the best friend and the sister got together in the first place! They all stayed in contact...and one of them just HAPPENED to marry an openminded religious guy who can totally help them out with secret church info, lore and weapons.
GAH. It was all just too easy. And no one really important died.
Although...WHAT ABOUT GABE? Everyone else who was even remotely close to Mr. Witcher returned and had creepy dreams. Everyone. His friend that hardly anyone knew was included. But what about the other teenage dude that was there? I spent the whole book waiting. I guess he got forgotten. :(
