A premissa era interessante. Uma mulher que se apaixona por um anjo, um mundo dentro de outro mundo, sonhos vs realidade....
Moira, sua irmã e o anjo. O Patrick é insuportável! Os cultos e os ritos mágicos acabam por me irritar. A história perde o interesse a medida que avança.

E-Book Kindle 4,5 ster Bevat mogelijk spoilers.
Een van de eerste boeken die ik lees van Jen Minkman. En ik werd aangenaam verrast door het verhaal. Moira woont in Wales en studeert prtime tekenen en schilderen. Daarnaast werkt ze. Ze heeft een vriend Patrick die eigenlijk een ander idee heeft van hun relatie als zij. Als ze met Helloween met haar broer en zus (een tweeling) naar een stenencirkel gaan komt ze in een droomwereld terecht. Een wereld die ze alle drie zien. Alleen heeft Moira een lijdende rol in deze droom. De andere zijn toeschouwers. De vaart zit goed in het boek. zou dan ook graag het vervolg lezen.

Ik begon direct met het lezen van dit verhaal nadat ik deel 1 had uitgelezen, en ik kon het diezelfde dag nog niet wegleggen. Het was zo spannend dat ik nooit wist wat er zou gebeuren, en ik werd emotioneel omdat ik zo meeleefde met de personages. De schrijfstijl is ook heel vlot; het voelt alsof het geschreven is zoals ik zelf praat, met een mix van Nederlands en een vleugje Engels.
Naast de dromen van Moira, waarin ze wakker is en dus niet slaapt, gaat ze ook nog naar school ze gaat werken en heeft ze een nogal overheersende vriend.
Daarnaast heeft ze ook nog tijd om met haar broer en zus en vrienden een band te vormen. Het lied dat hierbij hoort, is werkelijk prachtig en leuk; Jen Minkman heeft het zelfs uitgebracht op haar YouTube-kanaal, wat echt een aanrader is. Zie: http://youtu.be/5_PYkvcI-pk
Bovendien heeft Moira zoveel energie en kan ze functioneren ondanks alles wat er gebeurt. Het verhaal trekt je helemaal in zijn greep en laat je niet meer los tot het uit is. Ik heb deze twee boeken in slechts twee dagen gelezen, één boek per dag, wat voor mij echt niet normaal is! Zeker een aanrader.

I really enjoyed this! All the characters felt so real and I was immediately sucked into their story. I also loved all the details of the setting.
I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a fun paranormal read! :D

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
This book was definitely magical! 💖✨ Moira found slowly how to break away from her manipulative boyfriend while battling ADHD. It was intriguing and unexpected. I had previously read a YA PRN by same author. I ended up with some of her books. This storyteller has me going on Google and researching historical references. I bought the kindle as I had the audible. Midway through story I had to call and make sure I hadn’t borrowed it. It had been suggested before by my kindle for Paranormal Romance. I am glad to have it on my collection. Need to check if this is part of a series or stand alone. Loved it!! 🥰

Diferente de alguns livros de fantasia que li este ano, este me surpreendeu de forma muito positiva. Espero logo conseguir ler a sequência, é frustrante você não saber como termina a história, ao mesmo tempo em que isso faz você ficar ansiosa por uma nova leitura.

Aparentemente teria tudo para ser interessante mesmo sendo um gênero que não costumo ler. Porém a tradução português do brasil é atroz o que leva a que o texto perca qualidade. Não gostei da forma abrupta como a situação ficou no final do livro...

In Short: Moira's journey continues. She is still battling her ADHD and batting off Patrick and so the tension between the two is building, putting their relationship on the very edge. Her twin siblings haven't slowed down or let up either. In this direct continuation from book 1, the trio ensues in their hunt for the mystery that is Hyako and the land without time.
I was so excited when I finished the first the book that I grabbed this next one straight away and then I finished it up in just a few hours. I just had to find out what happened. Book 2 is a direct continuation from the first as it picks up right where the last left off and you won't miss a beat. Kind of like the 2nd half of a television 2-parter. Readers shouldn't skip the first one. You would be utterly lost.
Moira's story ended well. I was very happy. It was not what I expected either. Though, in fairness it was hard to guess. Minkman's story was so unlike any other paranormal romance that I have read anyway. It was different and well thought out. It kept me engaged from front to back. It is a mystery too. I loved when it the whole story came together. The "aha" moment if you will.

I simply love the magic of this book, in the broadest sense of the word. A little bit of witchcraft, a queste and a sweet guy to fall for are my ingredients for a story that makes me very happy. It's well written and gives you tension, hope and excitement. It's Moira's insecurity about following her heart that touched me most. She doupts herself so much it is a bit painful to 'watch', and with every word you read you hope she will start to learn whats in her heart and find the strenght to choose what's right for her.

Loved It
Just great, loved everything about the book and the characters. It was hard to put it down just wanted to see what happens next. The characters were awesome and love a book that make sad and happy when reading it. Hope you write more about, Hayko and Moira and her siblings. Highly recommended it.

Een boek als geen andere, ik heb in ieder geval nog niet eerder zo'n verhaal gelezen. Intrigerend.

I really loved this story, it was so unique and beautiful but I am really disappointed with the ending. It feels like it was rushed and unfinished. I wanted more from this new beginning with Moira and Hayko. Overall I really enjoyed the series though.

Leuk verhaal, schrok even van het einde , want dacht nee hè niet zo eindigen.
Maar er zat een link bij waar je nog een kort verhaal leest en het op een mooie manier wordt afgesloten.
Dus ik zou zeggen vergeet dat gedeelte niet om te lezen.
