Never Enough: the original, surprising memoir from the Staying Relevant and Strictly star Pete Wicks

'Loved the book and now I'm in love with Pete'

'What I loved about this book is that Pete doesn't preach at you about mental health and in a way comes across as a good friend and a caring individual who only wants the best for others .'

National heart throb and Strictly star Pete Wicks shares the journey that has seen him, overcome grief, mental health trials and challenges and burst on to our screens.

Behind the humour, swearing, dogs and nonsense, Never Enough is a no-holds-barred account of life through Pete Wicks' lens. He shares his mental health challenges and approach to life - starting with his journey as a 16-year-old who had the words 'NEVER ENOUGH' tattooed across his body, a marker of a time of anger and sadness, but also of his struggles with self-worth.

Still very much a work-in-progress, Pete reveals the lessons he has  the good, the bad and the ugly. He calls time on toxic positivity, the damaging impact of social media, the pressures of masculinity and our desire to remain relevant - opening up about grief, love and friendship along the way.

Actually found this book fascinating
I never really knew much about Pete Wicks other than the stories/rumours circulating at the time of TOWIE etc so just assumed he ‘was’ this womaniser and a bit of an arsehole
To be fair id never watched or have ever watched TOWIE so like most people you just believe what you hear. & read

It wasn’t until Christmas 25 I stumbled upon an IG post of him saying what he hated about Christmas with Sam Thompson that I began to follow him/them which led me to start watching & subscribe to their podcast which I now watch avidly during my cardio sessions
I’m not much of a TV person so wasn’t fully aware of his dog rescue programmes either but as soon as I heard about it I was straight on the tv downloading & watching them all

What I’ve learnt is he is one hell of a bloke and we share a lot of things in common, upbringing but especially with regards to dogs, my love is just as strong as his is in ending the horrific abuse, I sponsor a lot of these charities helping the rescues, rehoming of dogs incl the china dog meat trade

Amazing read so much so I finished it in 2 days
