Why did it take me so long to read it? It's by far one of the best classics I've ever read (and finished in a single sitting). It's pacing, world-building, characters, the nuances of human relationships, and the depiction of many facets of human nature is on point. So many elements packed in one small book - truly amazing.

In most of the articles that I read about artificial intelligence, they mentioned this book and used it as a metaphor to explain what the possible threats from AI are.
Victor, a curious student who wants to learn everything, fell in love with biology, especially how the human body works. He read as many books as possible to understand it better than his peers. In the meantime, he thought about how to create a human-like creature in the lab. Because of this thought, he spent days and nights without food and sleep. Finally, he created a tall human, around 7-8 feet, in his own lab, but after giving life to that human, he felt terrible looking at it, especially at its face and physical structure. Due to this, he left that human or creature in the lab and went to some unknown place to avoid those feelings and thoughts. However, after a few days, when he came back to his apartment to see that human, it was not there, and he felt elated.
From here, the actual story starts: Victor didn't create a human being; he created a monster, and later it will commit murders and create mayhem in society. As time passes, it becomes undefeatable and grows stronger and stronger, and soon it will start to disrespect its own creator. At last, that monster kills its own creator.
I know this is a very simple story, but as you go through the pages, you will see how inventions and curiosities sometimes lead to disaster. (I am not pessimistic about curiosity and the achievements of humans; I know that because of these, we have advanced much more than our ancestors.)
Just take the case of AI; it is both good and harmful, but it depends on us. Like Frankenstein, we can't control the growth of AI, and nobody knows what will happen in the future.

I loved it but the story was escalating quickly
I feel pity, why are we like this he just wanted to be loved and we couldn't give it to just because he was hideous to look at.

A Gothic masterpiece ,an incredible must read for everyone who’s into books.The book is full of hope,fear,horror,ambition,adventure,repentance,grief and incredible imagery. The story leaves you with the thought of who is really the villain ? is it the hero of the story Victor Frankenstein or is it the creature, the real villain . Each reader is free to choose his or her villain.

Be aware that this is a children book! This is not the novel written by Mary Shelly but a reduced version of it by Om Kidz. I liked this story. It's a very quick paced book and the art is stunning!!! However I would like to read the "original" book somewhere in the future.
