Revelations is book one in the Separate Worlds series by Izzibella Beau. This is a paranormal romance that begins in excitement, kept me interested, was dramatic and left me with a cliffhanger. Revelations is a dramatic tale that would really suit the young adult audience, but can be enjoyed by paranormal romance lovers of all ages. The writing style was smooth and easy to follow, as well as being attention grabbing and entertaining. A high energy story that was quite enjoyable. 4 stars.
I devoured the books of author Izzibella Beau's "Assumptions" series, and absolutely love her writing style, colorful cast of characters, and the dramatic twists and turns that she always weaves into her stories. So, understandably, I was pumped to check out her foray into the paranormal romance genre in "Revelations," the first book of the "When Separate Worlds Collide" series.
This book was awesome, and I was hooked from the first page. It's the story of two teens, Zach and Emily, who both are dealing with some baggage. Zach is a shapeshifting wolf whose family was killed by vampires, while Emily leads a nomadic existence, moving around frequently with her aunt and never forming any real attachments. All that changes when she meets Zach, and the two experience sizzling attraction--with some complications and ample drama.
I enjoyed reading not only about Zach and Emily, but about the other vibrant characters that Beau created. I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing how the characters develop in the next book in the series, and would recommend this book to anyone who loves YA paranormal romances.
I just got through reading, Izzibella Beau’s, Revelations: When Separate Worlds Collide, Book One. The book is chock full of surprises. The excitement begins from the opening chapter and it didn’t let up until the closing chapter, when the cliff hanger was thrown in. I love Beau’s style of writing and the set of colorful characters she develops. I finished the book feeling like I knew each one, well, not really, because no one is as he/she appears, as each character is introduced, but I especially love Zach, but then again, who wouldn’t? I was sad when the stumbling block was thrown in with the cliff hanger. I can’t wait to read the next book to find out what happen with Zach and Emily. Great YA!
"Revelations: When Separate Worlds Collide" Book One - by Izzibella Beau is full of suspense, fantasy, love and much much more. The story in this book is a little bit different than what I am used to reading, and not my usual thing. Its a tale of two "not so ordinary" teenagers as they hunt for love. Izzibella is clearly a very compelling and talented author who weaves together an exciting and emotional read. The dialogue flowed greatly, and as expected, things get a little crazy in a town full of paranormal weirdness. So all in all, it's a ripping good read that would be right at home with YA readers.

I absolutely adored this book! I think I read it in about 3 or 4 hours! I love the development of the characters, the idea of these different worlds colliding and the cliffhanger at the end was perfectly written! True score is 4.5/5 stars as I think the flow of the book was a tad predictable, especially if you read a lot of these types of books - I loved it all the same though!
I loved this book. Izzibella is such a gifted author. She always takes me back. I fell in love with the Assumption series. And this series believe it or not is another amazing book. I can't wait for book two. . Please don't let it be a long wait. Be warned, this book is one you don't want to put down. I highly recommend this book...
This book is the start of a wonderful YA series! The MC’s come to life on every page and keep you hooked for the duration of the book – for me it was easy to hear their voices and see them standing before me like a movie. Any YA fan who has a love for a great story will not be able to put this down by the end of the first chapter. Zach and Emily give you the heartwarming storyline, whereas Jacob and the others give you the necessary drama to make everything realistic and have it all come together. Nothing and no one in this town is what it seems to be. The ENDING!! I cannot wait for the next installment of this series. I will be waiting (im)patiently on the edge of my seat until it comes out. Do yourself a favor – read this book, get hooked – and read everything else by this author. It’s truly a treat.Revelations: When Separate Worlds Collide Book One
I really enjoyed this paranormal adventure. It is well written and the characters are easy to relate to. The author does q great job of getting the characters personalities across. The cliffhanger has me gripped and looking forward to the next book.
Emily is new to the school is West Lakes. After moving with her aunt she has to start again in a new home. What she doesn't realise is that there are people that aren't who they seem.
Zach and his brother Jacob are shifters. Jacob is a proper playboy where as Zach has no interest in girls until the day he sees Emily.
Shifters have fated mates and Zach's wolf is screaming that Emily is there's but what can he do to show her that. With his friends and brother also finding their fated mates why are they bringing the shifters and their mates together now? What is it in preparation for? And what secrets lie hidden that could blow Emily and Zach apart?
I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. One thing I enjoy most about this author is her ability to write and her attention to details. I enjoy being pulled into this story from the beginning. The characters are connectable and keep the story engaging to the end. They brought life to the story as they made it feel realistic. Zach and Emily are from two different worlds where family and friends may not be who they say they are. Could there be more to West Lakes and what darkness awaits in this world. The twists and turns bring suspense and kept me turning pages. I highly recommend this book.
Revelations is the first book in the Separate Worlds series by Izzibella Beau. It is a paranormal romance, a coming of age story with shifters, teenage angst, high school drama, and interesting characters. Emily has no idea that moving to a new town will turn her world upside down. She will soon discover that there is far more to the town, and the residents, than she could ever have imagined. So, find a comfy spot and settle in for some shapeshifting fun. There were a few instances where the dialogue felt awkward or stilted, but overall, it was a fun read.
Revelations is Izzibella Beau’s first book in the Separate Worlds series. It is a YA paranormal tale that is vividly detailed and well written story captures you and you find yourself immersed in from the very start. Izzibella loves to tease us with her dramatic twists and turns that she weaves cleverly into her stories. A town full of the paranormal; shifters and vampires - Zach and Emily are not what they seem to be….. There is more to these two than meets the eye.
I absolutely loved loved loved this book! I totally devoured every word. I love the chemistry of Zach and Emily. They both are from different worlds and you find all this out in the book. Nothing what it seems to be in West Lakes for sure! The story had me hooked from the beginning. I love the writing and the intertwining of characters and the cliffhanger!!!!!!!!!! I want more but I highly recommend this book!!!
Are in for a good surprise with this book. It is definitely a page turner and keep you wanting more. I will say this read it with a open mind because you will be totally surprised at the end. Oh and one more thing If you are a reader then you definitely need to check out all of Izzibella Beau books and not just this one but all of them.
Great read that would be right at home with YA readers. Revelations is a fast paced with side characters who deserve their own novellas, also decent dialogue, and a cute love story. Suprisingly a page turner that will keep you wanting more. Read it with a open mind because you will be totally surprised. Izzibella Beau is a great author.
I was gifted with an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and no compensation was paid. Darn...
I'll start by saying that while I don't usually go in for shapeshifters, this novel--I have yet to tackle the sequel--surprised me. From the opening, we see two teens, Zach and Emily, and as with all things, they're not what they seem to be.
Emily is a rootless sort, moving all over the map, and this time she ends up in West Lakes, a small community in which a shapeshifting wolf pack resides. Zach is a shapeshifting wolf, parentless due to his family being killed by vampires. Once he meets Emily, he finds it harder and harder to keep the beast inside.
Needless to say, there are secrets kept and secrets told. The only secret is how Emily and Zach are going to resolve this little problem of him being an animal--literally. And thereby hangs the tale.
What Revelations has going for it is a fast pace, colorful side characters who deserve their own novellas, decent dialogue, and a cute love story. Not cloying or overly sweet, just right. Jacob as the younger brother is a hot-tempered, foul-mouthed jerk, but he lends balance to the proceedings. The other friends in the pack are also no less colorful in their own way and back up the two MC's.
Ends on a cliffhanger--I can relate. Worth reading.
Emily is a senior in High School and moves from place to place with her aunt who takes care of her. She finally settled into yet another school when her aunt’s company decides to move her again. So she starts her senior year in West Lake. What she doesn’t know is the town is special. How you ask? A werewolf pack lives in own and some of the kids go to school with her. Yep. But she doesn’t know tis when she moves there with her aunt and falls for the Alpha’s son Zach. Will she be okay dating a werewolf? Or will fate tear them apart? I loved this book. Very cute coming of age book with true high school drama with a side of paranormal. I Kind of had an idea where the story line was going so I wasn’t shocked at the events. Very interesting though and definitely well written. I loved the park scene with Jacob and Madison. Very intriguing but true to form for Jacob. Reviewer for Paranormal romance and authors that rock.

I'm not usually one to read a lot of shapeshifter/vampire/warewolf books, but I thought I'd give this one a try. It was just ok for me. The dialogue seemed really forced at times. I also feel that it was lacking a lot of emotion. I didn't really feel connected to any of the characters. I think that's because there wasn't really one true main character. The book follows Zach & Emily, Jacob & Madison and Danny & Alex. There is so much to learn about each of them that I just couldn't really get a connection with any of them. Their relationships didn't feel as genuine as I wanted them too and just seemed forced. The story itself moved along at a good pace and I was left with a big cliffhanger at the end (even though I'm almost 100% sure how the next book will start). I'm definitely going to stick with it and give the second book a try.
*I received this book in exchange for an honest review* This was a great book. I hated Jacob. The story was interesting, romantic, fun read. Slightly sexy but not overtly erotic. By the time I got to the end, I wanted to scream! I need to know more! What happens! The cliffhanger was done well, leaving me begging for more. My only issue is the slight editing errors. They were never anything really bad, just a few here and there that stuck out to me. If you like paranormals that are not super erotic, just a good story, grab this!
This was a good book. It had multiple character point of views. Normally, I hate this type of narrative on a book but I ended up falling in love with a different set of characters than the original main. This I enjoyed reading some of their inner thoughts.
As a reader, you will be thrown into the world in this book. I felt like some character development was missing on some characters since she had so many character point of views.
Can't wait until the next one.
This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

Emily and Zack make a sweet couple! Izzibella is a great author with lots of potential. This book was full of surprises from the start, and the characters developed steadily. I found this a interesting gratifying read, that helped satisfy my hunger for books. I give it five stars.
I LOVED THIS BOOK AND COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. IT HAS YOU GUESSING ABOUT EMILY AND HER PAST. WELL WRITTEN AND GRIPPING THROUGHOUT MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THE CLIFFHANGER AT THE END BUT THAT'S ONLY BECAUSE I AM NOT A FAN OF THEM.
