All Alexa wants is to walk down the aisle to Drake with their family and friends surrounding them. Feeling the loss of her mother more acutely than ever, she agrees to a lavish event in an effort to please her new mother-in-law. The stress of a high-profile wedding starts to wear on her – and that’s before things even start to go wrong.
All Drake wants is to make Alexa his wife. He knows something is bothering his fiancée and means to get to the bottom of it. After a series of mishaps threaten to ruin their big day, he’s determined to set things right for Alexa. Drake takes matters into his own hands to ensure that their wedding day is everything she’s ever wanted – giving Alexa the winter wedding of a lifetime.
Please note, this is not a standalone. This novella is meant to be read after the other books in the Blythe College Series.
I absolutely adore reading - always have and always will. My friends growing up used to tease me when I would trail after them, trying to read and walk at the same time. If I have downtime, odds are you will find me reading or writing.
I am the mother of two wonderful sons who have inspired me to chase my dream of being an author. I want them to learn from me that you can live your dream as long as you are willing to work for it.
When I told my mom that my new year's resolution was to self-publish a book in 2013, she pretty much told me "About time!"
This is a short novella that I also happen to have as a freebie. (so convenient that Kindle links these now) It picks up at the end of the series with Drake and Alexa’s marriage. I’m rating this lower for a couple reasons. First, Alexa gets a personality transplant. She’s whiny, and has lost her strong “take no shit” attitude. Her relationship with Drake’s mom is completely different. Not to mention, everything is WAY OTT.
Bottom Line- Pushing aside Alexa 2.0, (which is a downgrade) there really isn’t much to it. There’s a small epilogue 3 & 8 years out that gives readers very little information. (kid’s names) Which really felt like a setup for a possible spin-off. I got this as a freebie, but it feels a little crappy to have readers that have already purchased several books in this series have to spend another .99 for what they get. IMHO
Loved this glimpse into Drake and Alexa's wedding and future so very much. Rochelle has the power to totally consume me and make me feel so many things even in one sexy little novella like this. So good!!!
I adore the Blythe College series and Drake and Alexa are my favorite couple. Their wedding is almost here and things couldn't be more screwed up. Alexa is upset because even though her mom died when she was born, she misses having a mother at her wedding. Add to that her best friend Jackson, can't attend. His wife Kaylie is about to give birth and is having complications so they can't make it. Alexa has let Drake's mom take care of all the arrangements, but it's just so many people and such a big affair.
Drake thinks that maybe the reason for Alexa's distance lately is due to her having cold feet. He tries everything to get her to open up. Meanwhile, a scheming witch from their past almost ruins part of the wedding. One more thing to bring Alexa down.
As the wedding nears, Aubrey is on hand along with her parents to take care of all of the last minute items. But before long, another wrench is thrown in the works and it looks like they may have to go back home to be with Jackson.
Drake is a everything you could want in a book boyfriend in this story-and more. This guy is so crazy about Alexa he will move heaven and earth to make her happy. With more than a little creativity he comes op with the perfect solution to make sure his fiancé's memories of her wedding day (not to mention wedding night!) are everything she could ask for!
This is a perfect fit for the series. Lovers of Drake and Alexa will go crazy over this one-it not only has the couple's nuptials, but a nice glimpse into their future is included. Enjoy!
This short brings about a good close to this series. I liked that Drake knew something was up with Lex, figured out what it was and did what he could to fix things. Loved the plan that they came up with.
I fell in love with Drake In Push the Envelope (Blythe College #1)…oh and Alexa too… I forged ahead with them as they learned to build a relationship. They loved hard (literally and figuratively…), they worked hard, and they beat the odds. Then I caught up with them again in the novella, Push It Forward. Time apart and evil from Alexa’s past threaten everything they’ve worked so hard to grow between them. In the end, they are stronger for it, and finally take that step in pledging to belong to each other forever. It was a beautiful ending, but bittersweet. I hated to say goodbye. Imagine my absolute freak out when I found out about Winter Wedding!!!! Just a little more time with Drake and Alexa. Yay! In true Drake and Lexi form, the fire between them rages, burning up the bedroom…or wherever they succumb to their desires. Drake is worried that Lexi is pulling away from him. He’s always had a softer, sweeter side along with his insanely sexy alpha ways. But, in Winter Wedding, we see a deeper concern and an incredibly instance NEED to make Lexi his wife. However, he wants her to be just as happy about getting married as he is, and he has noticed her pulling away. Lexi is over whelmed! Her wedding has become a massive event, rolling speedily out of her control. Sadness is clawing its way into her heart, aching for those who cannot be with her on her special day. To top it off, things begin to go wrong at every angle. Soon, she is so caught up in the whirlwind that she is on the verge of breaking into a million pieces. In true Drake fashion, he jumps in and saves the day. This was an outstanding conclusion to Drake and Alexa’s story. As a novella, it’s a fairly short read. However, instead of being left wanting more (not that I would ever turn down more Drake and Alexa), it satisfied my love of a good HEA in every direction! Drake and Alexa are true to the characters I came to love in their other books. Rochelle is wonderful at keeping consistency in her characters. The cameos of other characters was a great way to button up some of their stories as well. I can’t tell you how awesome this novella is! You’ll just fall for Drake all over again! Your heart will melt at the romance, your body will burn at the passion, and your soul will be calmed with the perfect ending.
This book was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I have loved Drake and Alexa since I first met them in Push the Envelope. They are two characters I immediately loved and connected with. I got to know and fall in love with them in Push the Envelope and I have seen and read their characters evolve over so many books by Rochelle Paige.
I just seriously love these two. They are such fun characters to read. Drake is a true male gem, and he makes me want to practically swoon with how much he cares for Alexa. Alexa is a sassy and fierce female who I just love. She's also such a real character that you will instantly connect to.
Like I said, I have loved these two so much. This novella is when its finally time for Drake and Alexa to get married. I expected to feel and experience their love in this novella, and I wasn't disappointed one bit by that. I felt all their love.
Reading these two get their happily ever after together was all I wanted for them. I was thrilled to finally get to read that, and I loved having one more chance to experience them as characters. I've still got my fingers crossed that this isn't really goodbye for the, but even if it is that's okay. Because Rochelle Paige ended their story in such a beautifully perfect way that I just loved.
This novella is just sweet, and wonderful, and will have you feeling all the love of Drake and Alexa. It completes their story, and I promise you will be feeling all their love and more when you finish this one!
I absolutely loved reading Winter Wedding. I had mixed feeling about reading it because it's the last book in the Blythe College series. I loved all the books in the series and I'm sad to see the series end. Drake and Alexa started the series in Push the Envelope, so it's perfect that the series would end with their wedding.
We have seen Drake, Alexa, Jackson, Kaylie, Aubrey, and Luka grow so much throughout the series. In Winter Wedding we get a wedding, an engagement, and a baby. I loved reading how all the character have grown.
There are some crazy wedding planning scenes. The one I found the craziest, was where she Alexa was trying on her wedding dress. Drake once again shows how amazing he is. Just when you think everything is not going to work out, Drake stops in and turns it around.
We get an epilogue which nicely wraps everything up for us. This one is a definite one click

It realllllly sucks that its the end of this series. Drake and Alexa have been my favorite since the first book. But, it had to come to an end sometime. This Novella ended the series perfectly. Sure, i would have liked the novella to be longer, but Rochelle made the ending to Drake and Alexa's ending perfect.
In Winter Wedding we get to see that Drake would do just about anything for his fiance. Honestly, Lexi is such a lucky girl.
Loved this Novella. Perfect ending for the perfect couple.
Want to find out about how Drake takes charge and what happens years from now? READ WINTER WEDDING! Drake and Alexa fans will not want to miss this novella.
I bawled my eyes out. I had a crush on Drake from the beginning of the series because he was a lover and gave his all to make Alexa happy and protected her. He was Drake XL in the week leading up to their wedding. Not only did he steal my heart with his eye for upcoming trouble and Alexa unhappiness but he formulated plans that not only brought her to tears but me as well.
I love Rochelle hard when I saw the email about the release and love her even harder because she delivered on endings and a new beginning. Even delivered a knockout punch.
I love Drake and Lexi, I couldn't get enough of them through the series and this book didn't disappoint either. With their wedding approaching it seemed like Murphy's law was in effect. Lexi just wanted to marry the man of her dreams and Drake was that man but there were problems at ever turn. It's always a good story when you get to see the HEA you've been wanting to see. If you haven't picked up The Blythe College Series it's a must read and this just continues the magic. I can't wait to read what's next from Rochelle.
While I am extremely sad to see this series come to an end, Rochelle could not have put a better bow on it. I laughed, I cried and most of all I remembered why I fell in love with Drake the first time around. The wedding was perfect, the emotions were spot on and I don't have a bad thing to say except that it was the end. These books have been an amazing journey to read and I can't wait for more from Rochelle.
Drake would move Heaven and Earth for his Alexa. He did JUST that in this installment. As this series wrapped up, I found myself swooning and having the desire to "know" these characters. They were great and this series flowed perfectly. Without a hitch, the author brought world's together and it fit like puzzle pieces.
LOVED each installment to this series and would definitely recommend it to others.
Whether you enjoy sports, quick reads, young love, relationship dilemma's, hot scenes or perfect love matches and unique friendships...this series is for you!
After a world wind romance, Drake finally gets to call Alexa his wife. He can’t wait and will do anything to make that happen sooner rather than later.
So sweet of how Drake continues to show her what she means to him. Everything he does is what her in his heart. The stress of the big wedding is slowly getting to Alexa and she is feeling sad over things but she has Drake by her side to make all things good.
I think Drake has gotten better and better with each book in the Blythe College series! He literally changed everything to make Alexa happy. The epitome of the perfect book boyfriend!
Winter Wedding is the book we all gotta have, but dread reading, only because it means the end. This incredibly sweet novella gives us a conclusion to a series of books we all fell in love with by taking us back, yet again, to the first couple we met.
Summary: Alexa Hewitt met the man of her dreams and couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with him. Now, the time for their wedding has finally arrived, and Drake is heartbroken to witness just how sad Alexa has become. This should be the happiest day of her life, but she's withdrawn and quiet instead of glowing. When Drake manages to get Alexa to confide in him, he sets about settling her mind about having a more lavish event instead of the more intimate affair she was dreaming of. Despite Drake's willingness to do anything for his bride-to-be, Alexa feels everything start spinning out of control when a series of unfortunate events added to the stress she was already feeling and her sadness about her mom's absence, threaten to ruin their big day. Just when Alexa believes there is no solution, Drake steps in, determined to give Alexa everything she ever wanted in a wedding, and even something she didn't know she could have.
I loved this novella! Drake and Alexa hold a special place in my heart because they started us on a series that's become one of my favorites. I loved Drake before, but in Winter Wedding, he absolutely blew me away! The depth of his love for A,exa and what he was willing to do for her was so beautiful. Alexa was still the same great heroine, albeit with a bit more sadness. My heart hurt for her, but I was also crazy jealous thats he got Drake. Lol. I couldn't imagine a better ending for this group of people, and luckily we get the Bachelorette Party spin-off to keep us satisfied with Rochelle Paige love. <3
*This book is not a standalone. Winter Wedding is a novella that follows the nuptials of Drake and Alexa, whom we meet in the first book of the Blythe College Series, PUSH THE ENVELOPE.*
Seventeen months after proposing, Drake and Alexa are finally tying the knot. Everything isn't all fairytales and dreams, however. Drake comes from money and his mother in sits on inviting everyone they know; turning the simple wedding Alexa dreamed of into a week-long extravaganza. When Drake finds out that the love of his life is not acting the role of the excited bride, he sets about doing what Drake does best...do whatever he needs to make their wedding the one that Alexa has always dreamed of.
Drake was his typical bad-ass, alpha self in this book. Alexa is his world and he will stop at nothing to make sure she has everything she has ever wanted and needed. He just wants to make life happy and easy for her. Alexa struggled with a wealth of emotions in his book and I loved watching Drake stand by her side. We were also treated to an awesome scene with Sasha, which fans of the series will be thrilled with. I might have leapt out of my chair and fist pumped. We also got a tiny sneak peak into our favorite couples from the previous books, plus the most perfect epilogue. While it’s sad to say goodbye to our Blythe college friends, Winter Wedding leaves us completely satisfied.
This was a super sweet insight into Alexa and Drake’s big fat winter wedding. It has been seventeen months since Drake proposed to Alexa and their wedding preparations are in full swing.
Although Alexa loves the idea of a winter wedding, suddenly the entire wedding has become huge, and has lost the intimacy that Alexa always wanted, and on top of it she is missing the presence of her mom desperately.
What should be a happy and romantic time, has turned into Alexa feeling out of place, a bit lonely and missing her friends and family.
Drake does not care about anything other than marrying her, and when he notices her personality fading away and a fake smile appearing on her face, he knows he needs to get to the bottom of what is upsetting her.
When things fall even more out of place and Alexa has a little breakdown, Drake decides to go extreme, and take charge of the wedding making sure Alexa gets what she wants and how she wants it, while at the same time, enjoying the big fat wedding she has always hoped for!
The book just goes to prove how far, no matter how outrageous Drake is willing to go to make her smile and be at peace, because her happiness is his peace. And he does.
Its wonderful catching up with the rest of the characters as well. The entre book is like an extended epilogue and epilogues into the future are my favourite!
