They say the oldest child is usually the most mature, for Creeland that isn’t always true. He’s overwhelmed with everything going on around him, including protecting his brothers, handling his responsibilities as an Alpha of the Kismet pack, and loving his mate who refuses to submit to him fully.
Halo, Creeland’s ever-adored mate, has never believed herself worthy of all Fate has bestowed upon her. In an effort to protect those she loves, she decides to hide her knowledge and withhold truths trusted to her by Fate. But when her secrets come spilling out, they have the potential to cost Halo the two beings she holds closest to her heart.
While Creeland and Halo attempt to manage a matehood they believe is one of Fate’s biggest mistakes, Yves and Zamiyah are hit with an unexpected hurdle while preparing for their pup’s entrance into the world, and Delcan and Naiobi struggle to come to terms with Naiobi’s destiny.
As they each navigate new paths that test their matehoods, they try desperately to hold on to their bonds while facing their greatest threat yet. Will they come out the other side of the journey alive and successfully fulfill their roles in the Great Prophecy, or will their quest for love, understanding, and acceptance cost them more than they’re willing to sacrifice?

Free and Halo both needed a smack upside their heads! So much drama, secrets & passion in this story. Many POV’s that made it confusing at times, But this was a great conclusion to this part of the story. I look forward to the next installment of this family.

This was chaotic ambitious, but definitely chaotic.

There were so many POVs flying around (seriously, I lost count), and I never really got a chance to settle into Creeland and Halo’s story, which was supposed to be the main focus. Instead, it felt like a big setup for the rest of the series with backstories, worldbuilding, and family drama crammed in all at once. Creeland and Halo ended up feeling like guests in their own book.

I love a shifter romance, and I respect the scale of what the author is trying to build here but it just didn’t come together for me. The pacing was uneven, and the emotional arcs got a little lost in the shuffle. Honestly, this might’ve worked better as two books: one to really dig into the romance, and another to tackle the family/political side of things.

Also… the spice? Sometimes it hit, sometimes it felt very randomly timed. Like, y’all need to talk FORREAL not keep running off to the woods mid-crisis 😂

All that said, I can tell there’s a rich world here with lots of potential I just wish this particular installment gave its main couple more space to shine.

I downloaded this book because I was thoroughly entertained when I read “Mine” and “Yours”. I also wanted to know if Ni’ssan was going to redeem Cree or have Halo move on to someone more deserving of her. I really wanted the latter because I’ve been on Team Fuck Cree since this series started 😂

Within the first three chapters, I was sooo excited. I felt like Michael Jackson in the Thriller video when he was eating that popcorn. Then I kept reading, and it felt like a bucket of water was thrown in my face. (Got dammit, Ni’ssan 😒😂)

I still enjoyed “Ours” though. There wasn’t much to do with the strain in Cree and Halo’s relationship before they stopped playing games, so a lot of the focus of “Ours” is on the Taylor family getting things in order to fulfill the Great Prophecy. Also the POVs switch throughout the book and includes the series’ previous MMCs and FMCs perspectives. Cree and Halo have the majority of the chapters though.

Getting the updates on Yves and Zamayah and Delcan and Naiobi relationships was cute. I can’t lie and say I remembered everything that happened between them in their books, but I can say that Ni’ssan did jog a bit of my memory with the updates.

🚨 SPOILERS AHEAD 🚨

I didn’t fully accept Cree’s redemption arc, and I think it’s because I’m a hater. Ni’ssan did a great job with making him likeable for someone who isn’t me. I’m still on Team Fuck Cree BUT I’m not leading the mob this go around. I gave up a little of my dislike of him because he was finally treating Halo right by the end of “Ours”.

And I’m not buying the whole “Halo made Cree get with Kimmy” situation. It just didn’t make sense to me after a while. I understand the part about Halo pitching the idea of Kimmy standing in for a bit for public appearances. However, Cree could’ve said no (which he does acknowledge). Also, Halo didn’t make Cree and Kimmy perform sexual acts together. That was all Cree’s doing and constantly reminding Halo it happened because she wanted him and Kimmy together is bullshit.

Then the whole situation between Alexander, Genghis, and Augustus was sad af. I’m still slightly confused about who Delcan had been talking to and seeing because Uncle G said it wasn’t him but that didn’t take away from the betrayal and deceit. I wanted to give Alexander a hug or something.

And another thing! Lol. Ferrin ain’t shit bro. She can go to hell…but not before we find out who she’s been working with.

Halo was annoying, and trifling

1. She didn't fulfill her duties given by fate, which resulted in unnecessary pain and complications
2. She refuse to stop dressing like she was homeless
3. Hides her mate bond
4. Hides her pregnancy from her mate
5. She walked around with a unmated male, and allowed Cree to assume she was pregnant by someone else.
6. Due to her selfishness she got a innocent man killed
7. Rejected her mate after he killed the man she made him believe she was pregnant by
8. Oh I jumped ahead cause let's not forget she pushed another women (her so called friend mind you) in her mates face to so she could be a replacement
9. Refuse to complete their matebond
10. And she allowed her mother to sow doubt in her head about her mate, after witnessing this same women kill her father.

But the killer part is throughout the whole book NO ONE held her accountable for what she did. Most if not all the blame was placed on Creeland, and she and everybody else had a attitude with him. Like really???
And the treated him like a joke especially tiny, teeny or whatever their names where.

Well go then!

Yeah, I normally wait until a series is completely done before I even start. I could not do that with this series. I'm still trying to decide which couple was my favorite and I truly can't. I think I'm jealous of the idea of having that one true mate that's out there in the world looking for you. And that, that relationship can be so impenetrable and so strong. I'm not sure if it was on purpose but this book just kept bringing me back to the Christian religion and faith and so many of the aspects. My mom would always tell me the Bible says that her husband goes before everyone including her children and I would be so upset and I could never quite understand, this book made it clearer. For whatever reason these last few weeks I've been getting feelings that I need to be going back to my religion and I've strayed but I'm not that far gone. Again I'm not sure if that was the intent behind this book but it definitely started giving me some signs. For that I'm appreciative. And even though everything wasn't wrapped up in a tight neat bow the prospects of the future books that are going to start coming filled me with so much excitement.

IKYFL… No Closure.

Before I review the book, I want to say that this author should never stop writing because there is so much potential here.

Now, this was some bull. A really rough read. No real closure and the ending felt pinned together. There’s an allusion to there being more to come, but an acknowledgment that this series was supposedly over…? We never met the villain and we didn’t get an understanding of why he was doing this. Multiple antagonist get away and just… continue living elsewhere after causing all this disruption.

It’s clear this storyline wasn’t properly outlined or planned. The ending was absolutely horrible. This couples story was my least favorite and was a disappointing way to end the series. I wasn’t rooting for them and didn’t want them together. The whole “she set him up with her” and “she didn’t look good enough” thing was just poor storytelling and character realization. Disappointing.

It also didn’t properly focus on their story since we spent a lot of time with other characters/couples. Really rough. Felt like the roughest of drafts.

This book started off with a bang and didn’t stop with all the twists and turns. The drama, tension, secrets, betrayal and romance, this book covered it all.

Out of all 3 brothers, Cree was my least favorite because he just seemed immature in how he chose to move and he didn’t really exhibit any qualities of an Alpha. Cree and Halo frustrated me so much that I didn’t know how I wanted them to end. Don’t get me wrong, I was pleased with the final outcome but for more than half the book I was ready to throw in the towel with these two. I’ve learned that if an author can get me to have emotional responses to characters then they have done their job right.

While Cree and Halo were the main couple of this story, I loved that the whole family continued to be a part of the main story and not just background characters. The author did a great job continuing the story from the previous two books and wrapping up most of the loose ends in the ending. I do wonder if this is the final book in the series or will we get a glimpse of what the future holds for the characters.

Book three did not disappoint at all. There were so many twists and turns with a few different Pov’s that you literally had to be locked in not to miss a detail. Cree and Halo I was so ready for their book but boy do these two make your ass itch. You have one who is hiding everything but wanting their mate to accept them for who they are while not showing them who and what they are. Make that make scenes. Then you have the other one going with the flow of a stupid ass idea because their ego needs to be stroked all while being a certified crash out. I don’t know why they family didn’t lock these to dummy’s up and make them finish the mating bond. That or why not let Tiny and Tenny do it or make them see what all was going to come of it all if they didn’t get their act together sooner. Because of these two so many people suffered for no reason. I hated how we made Cree the bad guy and didn’t hold Halo accountable. Cree being and Alpha he really let this girl walk all over him. For him to be so outspoken and spoke on everyone around him he never once opened up to his brothers and let them know what’s going on. For that I felt that’s why they thought less of him. All and all a great read I was sucked in since book 1 and I need book 4 to hurry up please because this was such a great series and I need the prophecy or Tiny Tenny and Minny’s story!!!!!

Not gon lie this was a lot, it was all over the place but I was able to keep up. Obviously the next stories will be about Bellum and her mate (but Bellum died so maybe a small backstory of their time together) the lioness and her kingdom, Naiobi’s sister and Myles. This is my theory because of the epilogue where Minnie & Tiny are thinking about who to help next & they mentioned these characters. I do hope we get to see the 3 brothers and their mates in present time in the next stories before jumping to the 20 year calm where the pups and or cubs grow up to start fulfilling the prophecy. I understand why this couldn’t be written like the first two but I missed the pacing of the first 2 books and where the only POVs were the FMC & MMC vs every damn body. We shall see where the authors take us next.

Ours

I thought the first 2 books took us on a ride but OURS babbyyy I wasn’t ready! The fact the most of the journey laid in the young hands of Halo is beyond me! I probably would have ran from my fate for a minute too! The fact that her mom was sneaky & got in her head all those years sucks. Then you got the both of them (Halo & Creeland) for not fighting for one another. Honestly even if she had told him the truth & showed her scars, I don’t think he’d appreciate who he was mated with! Poor Zamiyah don’t need no more pups lol. I’d love to see Jaguar kingdom! The LION queen????

I’m really enjoying this series. I like that Ours continued with the main characters from Mine and Yours still being vital parts of the storyline. Ours really showed how everything is connected between the siblings, their mates, and their stories. We saw new and old characters but everyone was vital to the story. I hope the story continues, I’m curious if it’ll be a time jump or if we’ll continue with this group of characters

Underestimated

This was a great read. Although there were times that Cree and halo both pissed me off . I'm glad fate gave them another chance. This is the first book I've read that a mated pair was able to be away from each other and allow their mate to be around another without rage or going rogue. So many secrets were revealed ,plots, twists and cliffhangers. I can't wait for the next book to see who they help next and what Noel decides

Amazing story

I dont leave reviews often. Mostly because I can read multiple books in a day, but this storyline is genius. I can't wait until everything comes to a close. It's also amazing how everyone has been tried together and a bunch of different people mentioned, but without any connection to the storyline. The story also doesn't feel rushed, so you feel like everything that needed to be tied up was.

FATE

I finished all three books and I look forward to the next adventure, if the author seems fit to do so! I highly recommend this series to anyone that loves adventure, true love, and the battles two people will go through. Know these shifters learned to stick it out or figure it out made this series outstanding! I cried, laughed, screamed, got angry and just enjoyed myself reading!

I don’t know what to say 😃

I hope the author will display the book as a series. Just so most should know. This is the 3rd installment.
I don’t want to give away the storyline. I can’t wait to see which supporting character will get their story told. All of them seem to have great chemistry with the plot of the series 😃🥰

Chaotic but Potential

There were too many POVs and the story was all over the place. The character mistakes also made it difficult to follow, for example Declan was at the castle with the women but then he is mentioned in the woods when the first find Uncle G. The story inconsistencies made it hard to get into the story.

Love/Hat Relationship with this Book!

I am truly torn between loving this storyline and hating this storyline. The only reason why I hate this storyline is because Halo never really stepped up. She let fear paralyze her. So in my eyes she was a coward. Brave is being afraid but doing it anyway. She should have trusted Fate and did want Fate wanted her to do.

HEA...for now

So much was revealed in this book! It took multiple pov, births, deaths, fighting and Fate. This was an interesting take on shifters. We are left to wonder about what happens next. My biggest gripe is the editing. There were also times the story was repetitive. Overall, not bad. There are many adult scenes and language.

What a ride!

This was a good for now finale to the series… I was happy to see Halo and Crees get their ish together no matter who was at fault it happened but Fate was on their side and I fell in love all over again with the other couples… Definitely will be tuning in to what’s next for the shifters I think Noel and Myles will be next

Unfortunately the last in this series. At least for now.

Unfortunately this is the last book in this series, at least for now. Though it answered a lot of questions, it also left a lot of unanswered ones. I hope that there will be more books added. Stories about Uncle G, Myles and Bowls and where are the missing mates.

I would have loved the focus to be mainly on
Creeland and Halo. I feel like there was too much focus on the other POVs. ( I couldn’t keep up lol) But overall, the story was chaotic, and it held my attention.
