Another beautifully spicy read from Charlotte Swan! I honestly loved this story so much. Two very lonely individuals find each other one night and things just go from there.
Nory is such a strong willed FMC, she just wants to do what's right and make those who hurt others pay. I really love how her story progresses because she definitely gets more accepting of herself and her attraction Eryx is just perfect.
Eryx is totally my favorite character. He also goes through such character development and Nory is the reason for it all. I loved his POV chapters because you get to see how he really feels about Nory and I found it just beautiful. Their entire relationship is just beautiful and completely spicy.
Because the spice?! Oh it be spicing. The spicy scenes were hot and heavy and oh so wonderful 🤣 And let's just say Eryx and Nory are somewhat unhinged in their foreplay...
Overall, I really loved this story and it was short and spicy and just a really perfect monster romance.

Nory's town is plagued with a mysterious killer plagued. She summoned to the revenant, Eryx, to help her get rid of misogynistic men.
We support women's wrongs, and rights!
I did love the fresh take this book gave us. Nory's a vigilante k!ller, where she's supporting the women in her town who were abused by the men in their lives. We love to see her get out of her comfort zone.
Eryx, on the otherhand, is a lonely revenant and just wanted companionship. He's drawn by Nory (as he should), and would do anything and everything to help her.
It's slow burn, which was surprising, and I love the plot more than the romance in this.
It's a great book, don't get me wrong but I have a favorite book in this series (The first book - A Kiss From a Demon).

Ugh!! This was soo good and spicy and sexy and “killer”. To be in love with a death omen and do some spicy AND get ride of some bad men! Ugh chef’s kiss. Nory is a girls girl ! And Eryc is a dutiful monster/lover. If I had a monster lover, I want him to be like Eryc!
A great short read that gives the right amount of spicy and play! I would be honest tho, Nory did annoy me cause she was acting up ! But I’m glad everything worked out !
