Tempting Wyatt

Rate this book
Caisey Quinn returns to indie publishing with a grumpy/sunshine, enemies-to-lovers, opposites attract, forced proximity slow burn cowboy romance that's as hot as it is heartfelt.

She's running from the pain in her past.
He's fighting to protect his family's future.

Wyatt Logan doesn't have time for distractions. His family's legacy is hanging by a thread, developers are circling like vultures, and after his father's sudden unexpected passing, the weight of Triple Creek Ranch rests squarely on his shoulders. The last thing he needs? A high-maintenance Hollywood princess renting the guest cabin on his property.

Ivy Anderson is out of options. Hiding out in small-town Montana was never part of the plan, but after a painful scandal puts her career on hold, she needs an escape. A quiet place to write. To heal. To disappear from the humiliating spotlight. She's not here to make friends--or to catch the eye of the broody, infuriatingly handsome rancher, who seems to hate her on sight.

But with their cabins only a few yards apart, and Wyatt's family determined to make Ivy feel welcome, avoiding one another isn't an option. The only thing more combustible than their tempers is the tension that flares every time their path's cross.

He's all rough edges and responsibility. She's got secrets she can't afford to tell. They're complete opposites in every way.

He's tied to the land in Montana and her life is waiting back in LA. But when the line between love and hate blurs, falling for each other isn't just possible--it's inevitable.

TEMPTING WYATT is the first interconnected standalone novel in the Triple Creek Ranch series that centers on a group of siblings as they struggle to save the family ranch while falling hopelessly in love.

This is the type of cowboy romance I wana consume on a daily, and if I could, I would inject it into my bloodstream so I have it with me forever. From start to finish, this book had me smiling, laughing and basically wishing I was there living my best life, surrounded by hot cowboys on a beautiful ranch. It was a fun, sweet, sexy, sassy book that had me eager for more. I mean I consumed it within two evenings, so if that alone doesn't tell you it was good, then I don't know what will. A very easy 5 ⭐️ read.

Wyatt & Ivy's story was one for the books. Although the amount of time they spent together was short, it was like they were written in the stars from the get go. As mentioned in the book, its like he was waiting for her and she was drawn to him, and from the moment they met, it was undeniable that they would end up together. They became the best versions of themselves through each other. Wyatt got out of his head and started seeing the joy in life again and Ivy, in the sanctury of the ranch, was able to find herself again. Their kindness and playful energy towards each other made for some of the cutest and hottest wee moments. And to be honest I just loved everything about them.

Oh my word, are men like Wyatt actually real? Because if they are, can someone please send one my way. He is literal perfection in a man. A little rough around the edges, but my god, under all of that he is this sweet, caring, hard-working, attentive, caregiver of a man. Not only does he love his family and the land they own, but he also has such care and attention toward Ivy too. Sure he has his faults, but he works through them and acknowledges when he is wrong. He has such a big heart and would, until his dying breath, do anything to protect Ivy, his family and the ranch. He is the biggest of green flags you could find. But the mouth on his man! Goddamn! He had me swooning and melting left, right and centre. No but seriously, can someone bring me a man like this??!

Ivy was such a fun character to follow along with. Although she is a little guarded, and rightfully so, she still manages to dive head first into anything thrown her way. Even if it means risking her heart along the way. I loved everything about her whole vibe. She is this sweet, yet sassy women that always hold her head high. She riles Wyatt up in the best ways possible, and creates this fun, light-hearted environment for him to be apart of. She has the biggest heart and manages to make all the people and animals around her fall in love with her. She is so selfless in all that she does, but especially when it came to the way she helped the ranch.

As if I don't already love animals enough, well then Caisey just had to go and create the two most perfect animal sidekicks. Between Jasper & Lucifer, how do I pick a favourite. Lucifer is like a grumpy ole cowboy, but in horse form. He hates everyone but then is a big softy for the people he loves. Meanwhile Jasper gives off all the main character energy. He was such a fun, cheeky addition to this book. And then I was grinning ear to ear at the end of this book with his little additional extra bit that got thrown in. Ugh I just love animals so much, but even more so when they're given a bit of personality.

There is just something about a book that can make you feel so connected to not only the story but the characters too. And there were so many parts of this book that I saw bits of myself in. From growing up on a farm myself, although we have never been through the finanial strain these characters went through, there is still that sense of pride and love that I respect massively. The farm will always be my home and where I feel a sense of calm and peace. And that was so clear to see in both Wyatt & Ivy in this book. They both hold such respect for the land and would do anything to keep it the way it is. But aside from that, I felt connected to Wyatt's hard work ethic and Ivy feeling like she always had to please people in life. It definitely shows signs of a good book when you can get so absorbed by it but also connect with it too.

I am very excited to move into Isaac's story next and see where things go next for this family.

As a reader, one of the most exciting things to happen is to find new-me-authors that I instantly fall in love with after reading one book of theirs.
I signed up for an ARC of Tempting Wyatt on a whim because it’s a cowboy romance and I just loved the cover. Lol.

This is one of the best small town, on a ranch, grumpy cowboy, found family, light suspense, yummy spicy book I’ve read in a while.

Ivy Anderson (26) is a screenwriter and has writers block. When she finds her fiancé with a so-called friend, she leaves Hollywood and rents a cabin far far away.

She meets an amazing family who owns this huge ranch. But there’s one grumpy ass she can’t stop looking at… Wyatt.

“As I watch him, I can’t quite figure out if the land belongs to Wyatt Logan or if he belongs to the land. I’m beginning to believe that it’s both somehow.”

Wyatt Logan (32) has the weight of the world in his shoulders. He’s running himself ragged keeping his family’s ranch afloat since his father died suddenly. He’s tired, grumpy as hell, and now has some Hollywood hotshot on his property distracting him.

This is a slowburn
Banter filled
Opposites attract
Grumpy/Sunshine
Found Family
On a Ranch
Spicy
Suspense

I fell in love with the Logan brothers and their Mama. Such an amazing family and I’m so excited for everyone’s story as there is a plot that will continue in this series.

Ivy broke down Wyatt’s barriers and remained a strong female lead throughout the story. I absolutely adored everyone.

“Don’t let me fall if you aren’t going to catch me.  I won’t survive it.”

5 Welcome Home Stars

Tempting Wyatt is more than just a steamy, swoony, rancher-in-a-backwards-hat read. It is a Welcome Home for author Caisey Quinn. I loved all her books and am so glad she has picked back up her keyboard that apparently magically writes sexy, complex characters.

Wyatt is a rancher who has his hands full but not his heart. He is too busy for love as he takes care of his family's ranch and it's problems. Ivy is a Hollywood writer who needs a place to lick her wounds. But what she finds is the inspiration she has been missing.

"She's stronger than she looks. As delicate as she appears, there's some barbed wire around her. But beneath that, there's this soft gentle energy that won't be ignored."

Wyatt doesn't think he deserves the kind of life he saw his parents live full of love. At least not until he has solved every problem for his entire family.

"...Ivy was supposed to be someone else's happily ever after."

Ivy's life has made her timid but the Montana mountains and Wyatt jaw line bring out her humor and an assertive side she thought was lost. Wyatt and Ivy circle each other in the most delicious way. But when their spark ignites, it is a bonfire.

I highly recommend saddling up for Caisey Quinn's return to romance. She knows how to write characters you don't want to forget.

It has been way too long since Ive read a Caisey Quinn book. I am happy to have rectified it but man, I need book 2 asap. 😍

I loved Wyatt and Ivy and the whole Logan clan. Sexy ranchers, bull riders, and even a Navy SEAL? Yes, ma’am. 🔥 I especially really loved Wyatt’s mom, Jasper 🫏, and Lucifer 🐴.

Right from the get-go I was hooked to this story. I loveeee rancher/cowboy romances and this one definitely hit the spot.

While this book was technically a standalone, the mystery sub-plot is left unanswered so I do suggest books being read in order.

🤠 Cowboy Romance

🐴 Grumpy x Sunshine

🤠 Slow Burn Romance

🐴 Found Family

🤠 Opposites Attract

🐴 Small Town

🤠 Spice

I'm so happy to see Caisey Quinn return, and what better way than with a cowboy romance? It was sheer perfection right from page one until the very last word. The story was a real joy to pick up again and again as I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next to the main characters and everyone around them, even the animals!

Ivy Anderson believed nothing could be worse than being a screenwriter with writer’s block. Until she finds her fiance screwing a friend of hers. Packing her things, she impulsively decides to drive out to Montana and renting a cabin on a ranch. She needs space to heal and reconnect with her passion for writing. Winning hearts isn’t on her agenda—least of all the glowering cowboy who seems allergic to her presence.

Since the sudden death of his father, Wyatt Logan carries the full responsibility for Triple Creek Ranch. He pushes himself to the brink, trying to keep the ranch out of developers’ hands. There’s no room in his life for distractions. As if his life weren’t complicated enough, now a beautiful and sassy Hollywood princess is renting his cabin.

But every clash between them, every glance that lingers too long, and every brush of skin, the spark between them burns hotter until it eventually erupts. But the thing is, Ivy is only in Montana for two weeks and it won't be nowhere near enough for Wyatt, if he has enough courage to let her all the way in.

To say I loved this story is an understatement. I devoured it and still couldn't get enough. It may have been a while since I read a by this author but she absolutely hasn't lost her touch. If anything her writing has become even better. The romance was a slow-burn in the most brilliant way and the banter between Ivy and Wyatt was more than entertaining. I also loved learning, along with Ivy, what life on a ranch could be like. And Ivy took it on like a champ. You could clearly watch her fall in love, not only with Wyatt, but also with Triple Creek Ranch. And I definitely couldn't blame her. Ivy slowly broke down Wyatt's carefully build walls and made him open up not only to her but also to his family and realize work is just work if he has no one to share the benefits of it with.

Wyatt's big family deserves needs a mention since they're also very important to the story. I loved his mother so much and how she accepted Ivy right away. Which for Ivy was a huge deal since her own mother doesn't seem to want her around. Wyatt's siblings also already have a big place in my heart. I can't wait to see which Logan brother or sister will get their own book. They all deserve it! I also need to shout out Jasper the donkey. Clearly he had that big main character energy and I love that for him. I'm so glad Caisey wrote a little bonus epilogue in Jasper's POV. It was hilarious and now it's all I want!

Tempting Wyatt by Caisey Quinn is a beautifully written slow burn cowboy romance. It has spice, humor as well as found family and opposites attract vibes. Just like Ivy in this book I fell in love with Triple Creek Ranch, and I already can't wait to return.

This was just what I wanted!

Grumpy/sunshine always hits the spot, and with Tempting Wyatt it was perfect *chefs kiss*

Hot, hard working, family loving, protective, grumpy cowboy…sorry, I meant Rancher Wyatt is brought to his knees in this slow burn romance (I don’t usually like slow burn…but this was oh so good)

Hollywood/city girl aka Ivy is looking to escape a painful breakup, she’s a screenwriter who has lost her mojo until she sets eyes on a very grumpy, axe weilding cowboy.

Both Wyatt and Ivy are perfect for each other, their journey to HEA isn’t easy, but with help from a fantastic (I NEED MORE) supporting cast, Wyatt’s brothers, sisters, his adorable mother, Lucifer and Jasper they find their way.

This book feels like home, it’s filled with warmth, funny banter, family love, a stubborn rancher, sweet moments, and one dirty mouthed grumpy cowboy 🔥

Rancher + Hollywood

Wyatt and Ivy, where do I even start? I absolutely LOVED them.

Fair warning: My review is going to be long. I could gush about this book all day, I loved it so much and is definitely one of my favourite reads of the year. Just read it, everyone should.

There story doesn’t start off great for the characters. Both of them have just experienced a loss, one has the loss of a parent and the other has a loss of relationship but their journey brings them together and together, they are home.

Wyatt has thrown himself into work and trying to save his ranch that has been in his family for generations. He’s suffocating in the paperwork and feels like he’s never getting on top of things. He has become a shell of himself, he doesn’t enjoy the little things in life anymore, he gets up, works himself to the point of exhaustion and then goes to bed. Like a robot.

Ivy didn’t have the best life growing up. Always feeling like a burden and suppressing who she is for other’s but all that changes when she walks in on her fiancé cheating on her. She takes that opportunity to find herself, love herself and breathe in the fresh air at Triple River Ranch.

Wyatt and Ivy meet under intimidating circumstances but she throws her shoulders back and meets him head on, even if he is holding an Axe.

I absolutely adored Ivy and her strength. She’s an absolute character with all her sass and determination. She’s love’s with her whole soul, whether it’s the grumpy rancher, giant horse or a troublemaker of a donkey.

Wyatt is a giant softy even though he puts on a robotic front and grumbles at everyone. I felt the weight on his shoulders, he’s frustrated and the deep sadness he carries. He buried his true self but Ivy slowly brings him back to the surface.

These two were written in the stars. Everything that has happened in their life has brought them to each other. They have an understanding of loss, heartache and a deep connection that even they can’t deny. Their chemistry is felt through the pages.

This book made me feel it all. I was laughing at the banter, sassy attitudes and donkey shenanigans. I felt the tension between them, the frustration for Wyatt and the rejection and anxiety for Ivy. I was jealous of all the pie that was being baked, I felt the love the Logan family has for each other and for the people they welcome into said family. It also made me cry but then dried those tears with a happily ever after.

Caisey is a new to me author but the fact that her writing made me feel everything that was written in these pages has made her one of my favourite authors.

This book is longish but it’s doesn’t read like it is. The writing flows from one page to the next and completely pulls the reader in. It makes it hard to put down, I know it was hard for me. All the characters are well developed, the growth is amazing and so is the plot.

I cannot wait to read another book in this series and I will definitely be reading the rest of this author’s catalog because I am here for it!

Ps. Jasper and Lucifer are absolutely the main character animals. They totally need a Mrs Jasper and Mrs Lucifer. Just putting it out there.

Massive thank you to Caisey for allowing me to ARC read Tempting Wyatt. It’s one of my favourite reads of the year.

Ivy is a screenplay writer from LA searching for a slower pace after catching her fiancé cheating and threatening her career. She never expected to land in Paradise Valley, Montana or that the first person she’d meet would be rugged Rancher, Wyatt Logan. It doesn’t take long for this city girl to win over the Logan family and begin TEMPTING Wyatt.

𝓜𝔂 𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓽𝓼:
This was my first Caisey Quinn book and I am hooked. Tempting Wyatt is a delicious slow burn that I could not put down. Ivy and Wyatt both have a back story and the character development is so heartwarming.

The way this woman turned this man’s world upside down and brought him to his knees made for the unforgettable love story. Wyatt wanted no part of this city girl and watching him unravel made for the slowest slow burn. I could not read this book fast enough y'all. The playful banter, mouthwatering tension, and tender moments made this such a standout read. I loved the way these two cared for each other and when they finally gave in... it was AMAZING. Tempting Wyatt gave me all the Yellowstone feels. If you are looking for a Cowboy/Rancher Romance with depth.. this is it!

The way the Logan family took Ivy in and loved her melted my heart. I enjoyed the relationship she formed with each member of the family and how they healed a part of her in the process.

First and foremost, God bless the woman that wrangles his wild cowboy. I’m hoping Issac gets a book because he is a whole vibe. This young, wild, and free playboy kept me entertained and I loved the brotherly banter!

A grumpy/sunshine, forced-proximity cowboy romance packed with sizzling chemistry, emotional tension, and small-town charm. Perfect for fans of slow-burn, steamy opposites-attract love stories.

Wyatt Logan doesn’t have time for distractions. His family’s ranch is hanging by a thread, developers are circling like vultures, and after his father’s sudden passing, the weight of Triple Creek Ranch rests squarely on his shoulders. The last thing he needs? A smart-mouthed Hollywood princess renting the cabin on his land.

Ivy Anderson is out of options. Hiding out in small-town Montana was never part of the plan, but after a painful scandal nearly destroys her career, she needs an escape. A quiet place to write. To heal. To disappear. She’s not here to make friends—or to catch the eye of the broody, infuriatingly handsome rancher who seems to hate her on sight.

But with their cabins only a few feet apart, avoiding each other isn’t an option. And every heated argument, every stolen glance, every accidental touch only fuels the fire between them.

He’s all rough edges and responsibility. She’s a flight risk with nowhere left to run. They’re complete opposites in every way. But when the line between love and hate blurs, falling for each other isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable.

Perfect for fans of slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance full of tension, steam, and a swoon-worthy rancher who will steal your heart.

I absolutely loved Wyatt and Ivy’s story! From the first few pages, I was completely drawn in. Their journey is filled with tension, vulnerability, and undeniable chemistry that builds with every page. The grumpy cowboy and sunshine starlet dynamic is perfection, and watching their walls come down made for a deeply satisfying slow-burn. Their path wasn’t easy—but that’s what made it so real, raw, and ultimately rewarding. A heartfelt, steamy, and swoon-worthy romance that lingers long after the last page.

Casey Quinn what did you put in this....... They way I devoured this book!
Tempting Wyatt was the perfect slow burn cowboy romance.

In need of a break, Ivy finds herself in Montana. More specifically at Triple Creek Ranch.
Who does she meet? Wyatt!
The sexy cowboy who has a whole lot of weight in his shoulders. He works endlessly and tirelessly to keep his families ranch afloat.
And... with the bank riding him, and developers circling like sharks the pressure is never ending.

What he doesn't need is a high maintenance 'princess' from Hollywood staying on his ranch.
But...
Then he meets Ivy. While his walls may have initially still been high he can't deny the attraction he feels. The sparks.. were hot perfection.
I just adored every part of the journey between these two including the tension, the banter, the slow burn, the angst, the found family, the drama and the spice with a dash of dirty talking.
But... My favourite part of course was Wyatt's 'fuck it' moment! Finally!!!!!!

Both characters go through some change / growth and I loved it for both of them.
Ivy was such a sweet and caring soul and I adored her enthusiasm when it come to learning about life on a ranch. Not only does she fall in love with Wyatt but also with life on a ranch.
And...
Ivy was able to break down Wyatt's walls and show him that while all of his ranch work is important so is family and maybe even finding love.

Loving the side characters... Wyatt's mother is such a sweet soul, the siblings offered all the feels and banter. They are all so different and I can't wait for each of them to get a story.
Special mention to one of my fav side characters... Jasper the donkey. What a little star. His POV had me cackling!! I definitely need more of him in future books.

Absolutely loved this book!
The snippet of Isaac's story has me excited to return to Triple Creek Ranch and see this man fall and hard!

💛🤎ARC Review🤎💛
OUT NOW
Thank you Caisey Quinn for this ARC copy of Tempting Wyatt!
If I wasn’t positive that I was in my Cowboy Romance book era, I can safely say that I am now!
Tempting Wyatt, was absolutely beautiful and had so much heart, it definitely stole a piece of mine.

This book was MAGNIFICENT, I could not put it down! Everything fit together perfectly and I LOVED how much time we got to spend at the ranch with Ivy while she was “on vacation”.

I feel like a lot of authors would have skipped past the whole two weeks at the ranch, and that would have done this book dirty! Because I needed all those details from the ranch!

Wyatt and Ivy’s love was a SLOW BURN but it was perfect!
The way that he didn’t want to care for her, yet how he kept showing up only for him to fall harder and harder for the little “Hollywood Princess” that has consumed him.
Ivy was selfless and was in Montana for a reset. Figuring out life and her job after a harsh reality stopped her in her tracks… Then there was the rancher that seemed to restart her heart and the passion for her happiness and joy for the future.

Plus Jasper, I can’t forget to give Jasper a shout out 😂

I hope this review and some of my insight pushes you forward to read this book! I will say it is ranked at the TOP for Cowboy/Rancher Romances for myself!

Tempting Wyatt has me in all the cowboy enemies to lover feels. This book drug me in and I couldn't stop reading. I love the back and forth, quick wit, and especially the dirty mouth of this rancher! The tension sometimes you could cut with a knife and everyone loves a STRONG heroine who never listens, I mean I know I do. This book is everything you want in a great country romance. I am on quite the Cowboy kick and this one right here, was a great read! I welcome Caisey Quinn back with open arms, some of my favorite Country characters come from her glorious brain. I can't wait to read more of this series and dive deeper into Triple Creek Ranch.

Some of my Favorite Quotes from the book:
"The vision before me steals the breath from my lungs, keeping me stock still where I stand. It’s a woman. A ridiculously gorgeous woman. A ridiculously gorgeous woman who is likely going to be a giant pain in my ass."

"MY LUCK LATELY IS TRULY SOMETHING. Just when I think I’ve found some peace in the most beautiful place on the planet, an angry-looking mountain man, with the black beard of a pirate covering half his handsome face, approaches me with an axe. An actual honest-to-God axe. As in the kind axe-murderers probably carry."

"I’M WHISTLING AS I FINISH UP in the barn, which is odd. I mentally add it to the list of other odd shit I’ve been doing lately. Ivy’s infectious laugh, her bright smile, and those wild curls have haunted me since we finished up earlier."

I devoured this in one day. Zero chill. This book was recommended by a friend and damn, it did not disappoint. Fun, flirty, sweet cowboy romance that had me wishing this was my actual life. Easy, chaotic 5⭐.

WYATT. THE. MAN. YOU. ARE. I love a grumpy rancher like the next girl, but DAYUUUUUM, he hit different. Rough around the edges, soft where it counts, hardworking, loyal, emotionally aware, and a walking green flag. The way he loves Ivy, his family, and the land?? I was done for. And his mouth?? Illegal.

Wyatt and Ivy were written in the stars. From the moment they met, the chemistry was loud. Short time together, massive feelings. They bring out the best in each other, he finds joy again, she finds herself again and it just works.

Ivy is everything. Guarded but fearless, sweet but sassy, big-heart energy. She dives headfirst into life, lifts Wyatt up, and somehow makes everyone (including the animals) obsessed with her.

And let’s be honest Jasper and Lucifer STOLE the show. Grumpy cowboy horse energy meets chaotic sidekick vibes. Perfection.

I need this to be my life. Holy damn. Ranch romance supremacy

This book made me feel things. The ranch, the pride, the love for the land, it all hit so close to home. Cozy, emotional, sexy, and just pure comfort chaos. I want more. 🤠✨

Caisey Quinn is back with a delicious and unforgettable forced proximity, grumpy sunshine romance.

Wyatt Logan has the weight of the world on his shoulders, and the last thing he needs is a distraction. But when Ivy Anderson blows into town after having her heart broken, his entire world gets flipped upside-down.

From the moment we meet Wyatt and Ivy, the tension and chemistry explode off the pages. Wyatt is a grumpy, stubborn rancher who doesn’t have time for the likes of city girl, Ivy Anderson. However, there’s more to Ivy than meets the eye, and the more time Wyatt spends with her, the more she gets under his skin. What starts off as an enemies-to-lovers situation quickly turns into an unforgettable slow-burning romance that will have every woman wishing for her own dirty-talking rancher.

Tempting Wyatt is an entertaining read from beginning to end, with characters that are destined to steal your heart. With just the right amount of steam and drama, you won’t be able to put this book down. I had the best time getting lost in Wyatt and Ivy’s story and can not wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

I don't even know where to start because this book was so good the whole way through!
Ivy and Wyatt draw you in right from the beginning. The banter between these two throughout the book is SO good and will have you giggling and wanting more. It takes a good while for them to get past their own heads and let their hearts lead the way, but oh when they do....you'll need a fan. The banter and tension just make them burn even hotter. Caisey writes SO much emotion into her story, and does it so well you feel like you are right there in the book with them.

What really stands out to me in this book is the family story. While the focus is on Ivy and Wyatt, you can really feel the closeness of the Logans, and I loved getting to know the entire Logan clan. I can't wait to read the rest of their stories, especially Isaac and Caleb.

All in all, this book is a must read if you like cowboy romance. Casiey Quinn is a talented writer and the whole book was fun, engaging, and has a great balance between the story and the spice.

My only 'complaint' is that we NEED more Jasper in the next book! Please?

It’s been a minute since Caisey’s last release, but the wait was absolutely worth it.

After his father’s death, Wyatt is doing everything he can to save his family’s ranch from foreclosure. He’s grumpy and surely, determined and overworked. As the oldest of his siblings he feels a responsibility to take on as much as he can.

Ivy is a screenplay writer, and after finding her fiancé in an uncompromising position, decides to take a vacation and try to get her creative juices flowing again. She rents a cabin on a ranch in Montana, and on her first night there she’s confronted by a grumpy rancher with an axe.

I loved these two together, her bubbly personality helped to settle Wyatt’s grumpiness. More and more, he found himself smiling and laughing, whistling while he worked and spending more time with Ivy and his family. I loved the banter, Wyatt’s brother Isaac who had no boundaries and loved riling Wyatt up, and his sisters who developed a close friendship with Ivy.

I definitely plan to read this one again, and I can’t wait for more in the series. I’m eager for Isaac’s story, as he played such a large part in Tempting Wyatt and I would love to see his heroine tame him.

Tempting Wyatt started strong. Wyatt and Ivy had the kind of banter that made me smile. Lucifer the horse and Jasper the donkey stole the show whenever they were mentioned.

The setting and ranch-life drama gave me Yellowstone vibes (minus the violence and political power plays), which added a fun, rugged backdrop to the romance. It was more charming cowboys.

The pacing in the first half was great, and I was really getting into the rhythm of the story……. but around the halfway point, things started to stall. The tension plateaued, scenes started feeling repetitive, and it felt like we were just spinning our wheels instead of moving forward. I kept waiting for something big to happen and it just never really did.

The ending felt rushed and underwhelming, which was disappointing given how promising the book started out.

Still, there were some great moments and standout lines like this one that got me:
“Home, I realized, wasn’t a place like I’d been searching for my entire life. Home was a person. And for me, home was him.”
🥹❤️

Cute read overall, but I wish the second half matched the energy of the first.

“Home, I realized, wasn’t a place like I’d be searching for my entire life. How was a person. And for me, home was him.”

3.5 ⭐️

Ivy sets off to a remote ranch in Montana for a much needed getaway after discovering her fiancé cheating on her.

Wyatt has no idea his mom decided to start renting out cabins until the city girl shows up like a wrecking ball.

Wyatt is grumpy & Ivy likes pushing his buttons. But under his exterior, he’s really just a kind hearted man who wants to continue his family’s legacy at all costs.

What to expect:
🪓 Grumpy mountain man MMC
📝 Grumpy x sunshine
🪓 Enemies to lovers
📝 Found family
🪓 Banter
📝 Spice

Thoughts:
This book had all of the ingredients to the perfect cowboy type romance that I usually know & love. However, for some reason, I felt disconnected to the story as a whole. I did really love the grumpy / sunshine & the banter! I may read the next one.

I had previously read and absolutely loved the Kylie Ryans series (Girl with a Guitar) and was super excited at the idea of Caisey's return to the romance world. This book had definite potential but I felt like things drug on and on but actually things were happening soo fast if that makes any sense at all..

Wyatt has taken full responsibility for the family ranch after the death of his father. Ivy is running from her life in LA that is all falling down around her, hoping to find a little bit of peace and quiet to get back into her groove, Ivy was not counting on the broody rancher to be included in her groove.

I'm hoping that this book felt slow because it was setting up a backstory and I'm excited to see what comes next in the series - the idea of a ranch full of brothers sounds great!

Ohhh what an introduction to Casey’s writing!

The world building, the slow burn, the banter, the characters, the depth. All of it combined for a fantastic story and a series that I NEED to finish.

I loved Isaac from the get go and his story is next - which I cannot wait for. Plus Jasper as a side character was hilarious.

Wyatt reminded me of Rip (Yellowstone) in his protective way and his THAD attitude. I loved that grumpy ass rancher something fierce - even though he needed to get out of his head a LOT earlier!

Ivy, sweet Ivy. I actually loved her character and couldn’t pin a fault on her. She was strong when she needed to be, vulnerable but not a damsel, and she fitted into the Logan’s seamlessly. I loved her relationship with Lucifer - she was always meant to be there!

Cannot wait for the second book. This was fantastic. Sign me up!

Caisey Quinn is BACK!

& since I’m still very much in my small town romance era, reading Tempting Wyatt was a must.

There was so much heart, humor, and chemistry intertwined in Ivy and Wyatt’s story which kept me completely engaged. My attention span is very squirrel-like these days lol, so this is a big win for me. Plus, I absolutely adored both main characters. They had some big emotions to work through and I loved going on their journey with them.

I’ll now be anxiously awaiting to return to Triple Creek Ranch for the other Logan siblings’ books! 🤎

I loved this book. This book follows Ivy and Wyatt. Ivy needed to get out of L.A. after a bad break-up. She is screen writer and has a deadline to meet. She fines herself in Paradise, Wyoming. Where she rents a cabin at Triple Creek Ranch, She is greeted by Wyatt Logan, he is now in charge of the ranch after his dad pasted away. Ivy’s cabin is not that far away from Wyatt’s. Will she win over this broody cowboy. I really enjoyed the character development in this book. I did not see the plot twist at the end coming. I loved the horse Jasper. This book had tension, banter and angst. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series .

Ivy Anderson
Wyatt Logan

Tempting Wyatt" by Caisey Quinn is a grumpy/sunshine, cowboy romance set in the Triple Creek Ranch series.
Wyatt is a cowboy with so much responsibility he has going on with Triple Creek Rancher can't afford to be distracted by a beautiful sassy Hollywood screenwriter Ivy, who rents out the cabin. Sparks fly between them but unfortunately, she's only staying in Motanna for just two weeks and sadly Wyatt doesn't know if that's enough for her to stay with him. It's a very slow-burning romance but the chemistry they have is beautiful. I really couldn't stop reading the book.

Caisey Quinn is back, and I am so here for it. If you're looking for your next cowboy🤠 book boyfriend, then Wyatt Logan is ready to take you for a ride. The first interconnected stand-alone for the Paradise Valley/Triple Creek Ranch series gets you totally invested in the Logan family and the drama set to unfold. With four brothers and two sisters, Caisey definitely has her hands full to give them all their individual stories. And heck, even the matriarch might should get her shot, too. I'll be waiting for the next installment with anticipation and hopes that Jasper gets a little more page time in this one. 🫏

Slow burn, undeniable chemistry and so much heart

If you are looking for a small town ranch romance that is different from the usual, this is definitely it. So much heart and soul poured into this book.

It's a slow burn with so much heat and fire, the chemistry is undeniable between the two main characters. But the caring, compassion and the need to protect and nurture each other was what won me over in this story.

A beautiful setting, a cast of unforgettable characters and a promise of more to come. Bring on more Ms Quinn because I cannot wait for more Triple Creek Ranch!

5 star read!

Welcome to Paradise

Triple Creek Ranch is a place to see. Set your GPS and let's go!

Ivy's life has taken a drastic turn. Needing to leave the chaos behind, she takes a trip to her forever.

Wyatt is drowning in pain, debt, and pressure. His breath of fresh air comes in the hot bodied little bit of Hollywood on his ranch.

They fight their demons while trying to avoid strings. They're losing the battle. It's an entire web of strings!

Welcome to Paradise. The Triple Creek Ranch has plenty of characters to love and more stories to tell! Just ask Jasper!

A beautiful story about our grumpy rancher who can't help but fall for the sweet girl from Hollywood. I loved it, all the tension, the banter, and Waytt's family. The author made me fall in love with all the characters. I loved the scenes of jealousy and the small-town atmosphere. I can't wait for the next story.

I think this is my first Caisey Quinn romance and it wont be my last. Tempting was a hot sexy romance. Grumpy Broody Wyatt just couldnt resist beautiful Ivy. She was delightful and Wyatt's family was so much fun. Isaac was a hoot and it will take someone extra special to tame him. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to more from Three Rivers Ranch.
