What do you get when you combine a weekend survival adventure, one sleeping bag, and a mountain man who loves to make the rules? A five-star Daddy experience.
I’m in town for a wedding. Heels, champagne, and a final thesis on wilderness survival.
He’s the Boone brother who gets paid to keep people like me from dying out here. The one who swore off women a decade ago.

I’m too soft. Too mouthy. I don’t listen.
Now I’m tripping over roots and testing his patience.
And learning things they definitely don’t teach in grad school.
I came for extra credit.
He came to show me it’s okay to let go.

When I leave the mountain to finish my degree, he does the one thing I never saw coming.
He puts on a suit.
Because Daddy won’t ever let me walk away.

Author's Book 2 in the Real Daddies Boone Brothers Series. These can be read as standalones but they are loosely interconnected. So, come for the bark, stay for the bite and watch this little academic overachiever find out just how much fun getting dirty can be. Safe, no cheating, and totally obsessed with his girl from the first swing.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.

Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.

So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo

total waste of time

This was going good, I really enjoyed the story and then the ending completely destroyed it. The author woke up and chose stupid, chose to write an ending where the heroine cant have babies and instead chooses a career over having a family.

No thank you. Im reading romance for the HEA, which includes A FAMILY and i could care less about some stupid replaceable career. Im not reading romance to read about the heroines career.

It wouldve been helpful if the author had the courage and honesty to provide a warning in the blurb that she was gonna skip the HEA, so that way those of us who are looking for a traditional HEA wouldn’t have wasted our time on this unsatisfactory BS

Safe. Hero has been celibate for 10 years. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No ow/om, no cheating or sharing or abuse. Unsatisfying ending, no babies, no true hea

If you ain’t got babies in your ending, you ain't got a happy ending and I got no time for you!

What is even the point of a romance with no babies to complete the circle of life and love?

Wild Daddy was good!

Wild Daddy, book 2 of the Boone Brother’s series by Dani Wyatt @danieyattauthor. Dani writes great books steamy novellas & I expect the same!

Such a good novella about Marley & Cade! Tropes: Contemporary, Male/Female, Age Gap, Wilderness Guide/Thesis Student, Daddy Vibes, Virgin FMC, Controlling Family (FMC), No 3rd Act Breakup & HEA!

Pretty good

I'm a big fan of Dani Wyatt and her books. This book wasn't my favorite or least favorite book (of hers or in general).

I wasn't a fan of either main character, but hers less so than his. Did he ever reveal his age? I like instalove but the type of relationship they had developed so fast that it felt off. Her speech could be irritating. There were also grammatical errors.

While I didn't always like the way she talked or thought, I liked that she was different than any other character I remember reading. She's very smart but has deficits in areas. Cade seeming to have ADHD or something like it (I'm assuming based on his mention of being unable to sit still and learning differently, but it could be one or more of different reasons). As someone with likely ADD and the mom of children on the spectrum and with ADHD, I appreciated that. It was also a somewhat unique story.

I probably won't read it again, but I will read the rest of the series. I do recommend reading it if you're a fan of Dani Wyatt or similar authors. It was a short, entertaining read that was "pretty good" in my opinion.

Normally corny is good sometimes but this was crazy! Like sometimes the series of events didn’t even stay in order!

Marley is a genius and was rushed through life by her parents with no life experience. Cade is a wilderness guide who lives on a mountain. He sees her at a wedding and becomes obsessed. What she doesn’t know is that he’s supposed to be her guide for her masters thesis.

He turns into her daddy right away she shows her how to survive. There weren’t as many spice scenes as the first book though.

Spice: 3.5/5

Refreshing

The BDSM in these books are so much closer to real life than what you see on TV or in some other books I have read. As someone who lives in a lifestyle similar to these books. Its is nice to see the life shown a lot more softer and trusting. More about release and safty. Not all domination and fear. Not just owning someone but lifting them up to their highest potential and who they really are not what is expected of them. Allowing eachother the freedom to be while also being together.

Cade is boyfriend goals

Cade and Marley's story is so good. The storyline is one of my favorite tropes. Marley is such a different character than I've read before. I love how her vulnerability was actually her being brave. Cade's possessive alpha personality was exactly what Marley needed to make her start choosing to live her life instead of being on autopilot. I loved their chemistry. Can't wait to read the next one in this series.

School doesn't teach everything you need to be happy.

Being a child gifted with learning academia details doesn't give her the skills to continue her on the path to be a journalist. Taking a wilderness survival course to finish her thesis to follow the future her parents want for her leads her to question what she wants.
Her mountain man instructor has just what she needs to be well rounded and happy.

idk how she keeps doing it

Marley’s a character that made me feel like I was on the pages of the book. The pressure of the eldest daughter. The constant buzzing in my head and then the man who just makes it all go away while totally turning your life upside down. Cade was the perfect man to bring Marley out of her shell and allow her to be who she truly is. I’m ready for the next book!

I received an ARC and I'm freely reviewing.

Wowza!! These daddy books are so yummy. Haha!! Cade and Marley meet and that first meeting is all of it! This was a great book 2 in a series. Cade is nonsense alpha male that wants to cater and protect his little one. Marley has only known, be smarter, be better, be more and has never had devotion or "love" shown to her. I enjoyed it and can't wait for more from this series.

Ohhhh lordy! This book WAS HOT! Cade and Marley were prefect! Marley is need to do a survival training for her thesis what she wasn't expecting was to learn more about herself then survival. Cade was the right man to teach her its not all about academic its about living. I can't wait for the next brother.

Cute opposites attract story. Strong Daddy vibe!
Cade - Hero - mountain man with several successful businesses, but he hated and never finished school
Marley - Heroine - young woman (19 yo) who has no life experience as all of her life has been controlled by her parents, but she has plenty of book smarts and is getting her masters at 19.

I don’t give out 5 stars easily but this book earned them. If you love ddlg with steamy chili pepper scenes and story to go with it then you won’t be disappointed. This book was everything I hope and I loved how something I was expecting didn’t happen.

I loved Cade & Marleys story and so will you. There are many ways to learn besides book learning, and she shows through love at first sight that she brave enough to change her whole life around with Cades love.
