She could have any man she wanted—and she chose him. Roy wasn’t rich, ripped, or reckless—just ready to break. Elise offered her body, her rules… and then begged to surrender them. He tasted power for the first time—and wanted more. Much more.
For me, that meant I have always wanted to be a writer. In 2013, I made it happen when I discovered the new world of self-publishing.
I love to write – there’s almost nothing I’d rather be doing. I still love reading, but writing is more active and satisfying. I can honestly say I will never stop. After all this time, it’s who I am.
I began my career in one genre, but now I’m exploring others. I will experiment with different pen names and new personas as I go, but I’ll always be the same person, the same writer, who loves the craft and the people who make it possible.
Not what i had expected nor what i normally read but the overwhelmingly honesty and depth of emotions were so real and powerful i could not put it down.
Great writing, erotic without being too physically descriptive. I was drawn to both characters.
Very short book with fast-paced present-tense writing and alternating POVs (not advertised as such) in the third person. They meet, they fall in love, they talk about her past. But what’s the point?
Loved the book. I particularly enjoyed the slow build-up through Roy and Elise's past lives, leading me to believe that Roy was a straight arrow —maybe not! Thank you Ms. White!
