What a heart-beating, fast-paced and emotional romantic suspense…a page-turner for sure! The plot wasn’t short on action and depth of the characters so well developed. The push/pull of the romance was extraordinary and so, so real…I just love when the road the romance is messy and not perfect. Both Sloane and Gage have past traumas where their connection and trust is tested but also binds them together in such a special way. Found family also plays such a big role in this book too, the support from their friend group never waives. I can totally see this series as a movie or a tv show, as it played out as such in my mind—the kind where you binge watch to all hours of the night to find out whodunit and long for the happily ever after.

As always, this author does not disappoint! I am so invested in these people and their stories. She hooks you early on and it is painful to wait for their individual stories. By far, one of my favorite writers!!

This is the second book in the series I have read. Love the romance and mystery. A definite must read.
