I adore a second chance at love story, especially when it’s set in such a lovely setting.
Gemma returns to her childhood home to help her mum run her bakery after an accident, bumping into a childhood friend who has missed her hugely.
Logan is an adorable character, who has loved Gemma from afar since he was a teenager. He is ecstatic to see her again and soon his feelings resurface.
Gemma begins to embrace her old life, her exciting job in the city begins to look less enchanting as she reconnects with Logan.
It was enjoyable to see them restart their friendship.
The will they won’t they get together was very entertaining. Loved the little twists that came up unexpectedly throughout the story.
A really heartwarming story that was incredibly sweet to read.
