Some connections aren’t meant to last. Some won’t let go, no matter how hard you try.Tally Brown has always known how to take care of herself. Sharp, capable, and unapologetically guarded, she’s built a life on her own terms and on the understanding that love is never a safe bet. Especially not with a man like Wilder Miller.
Wilder doesn’t do serious. He’s the youngest of the Miller brothers, known for his charm, his scars, and the walls he keeps just high enough to stop anyone from seeing too much. But with Tally, the rules were never clear and the lines between want, and need have already begun to blur.
When old wounds resurface and outside threats close in, they’ll both have to decide if what they’ve found is strong enough to survive what’s coming.
Set against the wild skies and open roads of Silver Peaks, The Sapphire Ocean is a story of complicated pasts, reluctant vulnerability, and the kind of love that sneaks in when your guard is down.
Some hearts break quietly. Some fights are worth the risk. And some loves were never meant to stay casual.
I live in Cheshire with my husband, two dogs and mum in law and write romantic humour and contemporary romance. My first two books, Guess Who I Pulled Last Night? and No Bra Required both stayed at number 1 on the Amazon Humour list for 3 & 4 weeks respectively. My ambitions of becoming a writer started at the age of 10 when I started writing poetry at school, and was given the honour of reading one out to the rest of my year group (an horrific experience that I will never forget). Thankfully I have a wide variety of strange and wonderful people in my life, otherwise I'd be stuck on what to write about! I am currently talking to family and friends, finding out their innermost secrets in readiness for my next book.
My books are romances that come with a little more than vanilla sexy times, sometimes a few tears, lots of hot men and feisty women, but ultimately they'll make you smile.

Another book and another Miller brother i have fallen head over heels in love with.
Tally and Wilders story was amazing. I was hooked. Wilder is such a complex character. In the first 2 books he is portrayed as the happy go lucky clown who makes everyone laugh and doesn't let anything bother him, and whilst he is all of these things he is also as deep as the ocean and we get to see all of his hang ups and faults and it made me love him even more. Tally is such a good character she is strong and independent and oh so sassy and I loved every minute of getting to know her. This series has been amazing I have been so invested in each story from the very first page to the last and I couldn't recommend it more.
I can't believe that I'm back in Silver Peaks so soon after reading both books 1 & 2 of this series over the last couple of months.
Back in July, I read The Lilac River and in October, The Emerald Waves and I absolutely loved each one of them.
So you can imagine how excited I was to get my hands on this third book of the series already......and I'm so sad that this is the final book!
Last, but most definitely not least - we finally get to the youngest Miller brother, Wilder's story.
So, Wilder and Tally are already playing around in what they class as a friends with benefits kind of relationship - but for us, we can already tell that this will never work.
So Wilder can say he'll never fall in love and Tally can build her walls up high, but it's quite clear to us that there's much more going on between this pair.
I loved getting to know these characters and hearing their backstories was always going to be emotional.
I was totally hooked and couldn't put this down - again.
I loved that we got to see some of the returning characters here too and got a peek at what the other brothers were up to - this finished off the series perfectly - although I have to say that I'm going to miss them all.
I really hope that there will be more like this from this author in the future.
The writing style is beautiful and it's just so easy to immerse yourself within this world.
I feel so lucky to have read and revieved each book in this incredible series and I'm so sad that it's the last book in the series.
Without saying too much, the series definitely ends on such a high.
Tally and Wilder start off as strictly sex only but we all know how that ends up don't we?.
Both are damaged and both have never felt enough, not enough for anyone to ever stay.
The whole story is perfection in every single way, from the day to day life on Last Creek Ranch with the whole Miller family, to the underlying story of Tally and Wilder with everything that their story involves.
It'll break your heart but then make it weep with joy by the end of the story.
I'll be re-reading this series in the future because I'm not ready to say goodbye to Nash & Lily, Gunner & Cassidy, Wilder & Tally plus everyone else at Last Creek Ranch.
I discovered this author earlier this year when researching authors for a signing. This series was up and coming and on my radar. The small town, cowboy romance spoke to me. I enjoyed this series and was lucky enough to get an advanced copy for this book.
Wilder and Tally give us a great story, their “no strings” secret arrangement does not fool the reader, as we know both have caught feelings.
What starts as a friends with benefits and grows to more, and the chemistry has been there in the previous books. Wilder is the youngest Miller. Tally has moved to the ranch, running from her past. I love how this series has wrapped up, and Wilder might be my favorite brother.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
This was a cosy and wholesome romance with dual pov, and them both hopelessly in denial of their true feelings. Wilder and Tally have a friend's with benefits arrangement, but that easily shifts into love without them realising. They both support each other through their family conflicts, ex dramas, and when a mystery villain starts stalking Tally. I liked how the characters felt relatable, it showed their vulnerabilities and fears, and showed their genuine connection. I loved the atmosphere of the ranch, the found family vibes, the supportive friends, and how protective everyone is. It had a great balance of plot and spice, romance and drama, and a happy ending to tie it all together.
Wilder was everything i hoped he would be! Hilarious but also broody; the class clown with some big old emotional scars to make you love him so much more!
This series has completely taken me by surprise, i have really enjoyed getting to know the miller family and their tight knit bond has always shone through each book.
I knew from the first book that there was something special about wilder and Nikki did not disappoint.
Firstly thank you to Love book tours and the author for a copy of this edition in exchange for an honest review.
Now, I haven't read the first two books in this series. When I had the opportunity to read this one based on the cover and the blurb, I couldn't pass it up as it was stated as part of a series but could be read as a standalone. From reading this one, I definitely didn't feel lost when reading about Tally and Wilder. The author managed to convey a standalone feel whilst also keeping to the series with characters from the ither books playing their part in this one.
Have a spoilt the other two by reading this one as I now know what happens with the other Miller brothers... perhaps. Will it stop me reading the other two books in the series.... absolutely not.
It's been a while since I have read a cowboy romance book and I had an itch to scratch and did this book do just that. When people say you can't just a book by its cover, with this one, you absolutely can't. I went into this book thinking it was going to be a fluffy cowboy romance. From the very first page/chapter, the author DOES NOT ease you into the events that unfold. You get a very clear picture of Tally and Wilder being friends with benefits... like lots of benefits... the hot kind.
I love spice in my book but I really didn't expect this level straight off, I was pleased that the author changed gear throughout with many twists and turns to bring the heat back to a normal level. Tally's past comes back to haunt her with Wilder having to confront his. The author manages to place mystery in the book that has the Miller brothers looking for someone that is threatening one of their own. One aspect I really enjoyed about this book was the character development between Tally and Wilder as we know that friends with benefits will always result in someone getting hurt or someone growing more feelings about the situation that they are in. The author manages to play this out very well and you go through the rollercoaster of emotions with them both.
I really enjoyed being part of this tour for this book and look forward to going back to Silver Peaks in the future to read more about the other brothers.
Thank you LBT for having me on this book review tour and for my gifted copy of this epub. So thankful to be able to receive an epub.
Eeek. I couldn’t wait to get back to silver peeks and this is the final book and yall let me just tell you I’m beyond sad about it. I’ve got a book hangover now. Don’t make me pick a favorite because I love them all in their own way.
I was truly so excited to read this book. I have been waiting so not patiently for Wilder and Tally’s story. Tally is running from her past and has a horse with her. She ends up at Wilders ranch and I feel like he was instantly smitten with her especially because she is independent and hard working and oh did I say sexy ?! They hit it off right away and because of this well they fall into a friends with benefits type relationship but Wilder realizes is he isn’t being as sneaky as he thinks I mean he has 2 brothers they catch on. I have a brother and nothing gets past him ever !!!
Poor Tally gosh I felt for her. She just wanted a fresh start and to get away but the past always has a way of catching up with you I feel like and she just is getting settled and now she gets messages and fear but I was getting kinda annoyed with her and how she wanted to keep everything a secret I wanted to shake and be like what are you doing I mean part of me got it but the other part was just frustrated but her and Wilder had such a strong connection and solid connection that it made for the relationship to be something so special and a top contender of couples.
I’m so happy everything was just so nicely tied up with a giant bow and you really weren’t left with many questions. I’m so incredibly sad that I won’t be back to Silver Peeks I’m not going to know how to get into another book. Grrr good books !!!!
I’m so grateful to have been able to read Nikki’s third and final book in The Silver Falls Series. I’d heard so many other readers saying how good her first two books were, and I couldn’t wait to be introduced to the series. Even though I started at book 3, I didn’t feel at a disadvantage at all. I was completely hooked right from the beginning. I loved Wilder and Tally and their story, and it’s exciting to know I can now go back and read the first two books to learn more about the other Miller brothers and their stories.
The book itself is beautiful! The cover is stunning, the feel of the book is like a fluffy matte, and it’s the perfect amount of floppy 😂. Each chapter is beautifully illustrated, and I absolutely loved the added Spotify playlist to go alongside my reading. Every chapter had a song and artist written at the start, and it just added so much to the emotion and feel of the story.
I love myself a cowboy romance, and this book did not disappoint. Close knit family on a ranch, romance, found family, cattle drives, horse training… perfection! It also had an extra unexpected trope that added tension and suspense, but I won’t say too much about that as I wouldn’t want to spoil anything. The spicy scenes were spread throughout the whole book, but they were perfectly balanced with a whole lot of plot and an amazing storyline.
Another totally amazing addition was the bonus epilogue you can read, letting readers know what has happened to the Miller family seven years on. Let me tell you, I have never raced to my phone so fast to download something.
This book gets a solid 5⭐️ from me and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who loves a good cowboy romance 🥰🤠
This is the third and final instalment of the Silver Peaks series, and whilst it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the whole series. This book swept me away from the very first page. This story is raw, emotional, and beautifully written—a powerful blend of heartache, hope, and undeniable chemistry.
Tally Brown is exactly the kind of heroine I love: strong, guarded, and fiercely independent. She’s spent years relying on no one but herself, and watching her slowly allow someone in was truly moving. Enter Wilder Miller—charming, damaged, and impossible not to fall for. The youngest Miller brother may claim he doesn’t do serious, but Tally is the one person who shakes up every rule he’s lived by.
Their connection is magnetic—intense, messy, and full of longing. Nikki Ashton does such an incredible job capturing the push and pull between them, the fear of being vulnerable, and the bravery it takes to choose love even when the past has taught you to run.
As danger creeps closer and secrets from their pasts resurface, the stakes only grow higher. I found myself completely invested in their journey, holding my breath and rooting for them every step of the way.
The backdrop of Silver Peaks adds so much atmosphere—the wild roads and open skies mirroring the freedom and risk of falling for someone who could break your heart. This book has everything: gripping emotion, sizzling chemistry, gritty history, and a love story that refuses to be forgotten. The Sapphire Ocean is a reminder that sometimes the right person is the one you least expect—and that some connections are worth every fight. Nikki Ashton is fast becoming a favourite author of mine.
How I have LOVED this series! When I finished The Lilac River I already couldn’t wait to read Wilder’s book. He’s so easy to love. Wilder has that twinkle in his eye that made me blush and giggle. Not only did I really enjoy his brotherly bonds but also his relationships with Lily and Cassidy. I love the sex with no strings attached “relationship” because we know it’s not going to stay that way and I love seeing the moments when they each realize it’s not just casual sex. That they want more and how that plays out. Tally knew Wilder could and would be more to her but was also confident and self assured enough to scratch that itch. Take what SHE needed from him. Reading Wilder realize Tally became more over the months felt really organic. He wanted her but he also respected her. Not only her confidence and work ethic but her talent and dedication to the horses she trained. Also how she handled herself in a male dominated workspace. When all of that came together for him it was not only adorable but so hot! I immediately liked Tally. I loved watching her friendships with Lily and Cassidy evolve and how easy she fit in. Nikki surprised me in the best way with some of Cassidy’s past. I wanted to high five her with how she handled herself in all aspects of her life. Their spice was spicing. There was electric chemistry between them. I really appreciated how Nikki wrote Nash, Gunner and Wilder. Brothers that are so similar and yet different. In each of their books their personalities shone through. They are so swoony! Highly recommend!
Y'all! This was such a perfect story to wrap up The Silver Peaks series. Wilder and Tally have such natural friend chemistry. When Tally moves to his family's ranch, running from her past with a stolen horse in toe, Wilder is instantly drawn to her. She's confident, independent, gentle with the horses, hardworking, and incredibly sexy.
Tally and Wilder quickly fall into a friends-with-benefits situationship. No strings attached, keeping pleasure far away from work, but something is blooming in the heart of the youngest Miller brother that he isn't sure how to handle. Tally knows that spicing things up with her boss' brother is probably a bit risky. But she's having some of the best "benefits" she's ever had. Wilder treats her with respect but also handles her with experience (if you know what I mean). It turns out they aren't being as sneaky as they thought though when Wilder's brothers, Nash and Gunner, start making snickering side comments about Wilder's empty bed.
But Tally isn't looking for a relationship. She barely escaped the last one and that trouble is doing its best to hunt her down, threatening text messages, fear for the abused million-dollar horse she ran away with, and an unwanted visitor leave Tally terrified of losing the life she's started building at Last Creek Ranch.
Thank you to Tales & Teacups for sending me an arc of book three in the Silver Peaks series.
Wilder and Tally’s book was my favourite of the series, and it had such a sweet ending to the brothers’ stories.
I loved the little glimpses of the chemistry we had seen between them in the previous book, and that they had started as friends with benefits before growing into so much more.
Wilder was such a sweet man, and I loved how he'd always been there for his brothers in the other books. He had so much depth to his character, and all of his fears felt incredibly realistic and relatable.
Tally felt like such a great fit for him, and I loved what they brought out in each other. Her secretiveness was a little frustrating, but it made a lot of sense with her past, and I could understand where her fears were stemming from.
In the end, their relationship had such a strong foundation, and they ended up being my favourite of the three couples.
While I had guessed who was behind everything pretty early on, the plot kept me on my toes, and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next.
The overall story seemed to wrap up nicely, and I loved getting to see the results of Gunner and Cassidy’s camp. I'm a little sad to be leaving Silver Peaks.
Wilder is the youngest Miller brother. He's the family jokester and always up for a good time. He thinks he's unable to love due to the actions and words of their horrible father.
Tally stole a racehorse and fled Kentucky for the ranch run by the Miller brothers. She knew it was the right place for the horse, but it ended up being home for her, too.
These two have a "secret" friends with benefits situation because neither one wants a relationship. That always works out so well. 🤣 A threat from someone close forces them them to admit their true feelings. But soon, secrets from the past are revealed. Can their love survive?
I previously read book two in this series and jumped at the chance to ARC read this one. I had a feeling that Wilder would be my favorite Miller brother, and I was right. These two are perfect for each other! I enjoyed the glimpse into the other relationships from the series. It's nice to catch up. My favorite character has to be Bertie, though. She's hilarious and has the best one-liners. Definitely read the bonus epilogue that takes place 10 years later. 😊
I received an ARC of this book, but these opinions are my own. I would like to thank the author, Nikki Ashton, and Tales and Teacups PR for allowing me the privilege of reading her work. ❤️
I am grateful to of been given the chance to read Nikkis third and final book in the Silver Peaks series and boy I am so glad that I did.
I was so excited to read Wilders book as I absolutely loved him In The Lilac River. I knew his character and his story would be full of spice and comedy. I also had a sneaky suspicion that Tally would be the one to capture his heart and tame the man that he is. Their connection is unmatched and they mould so well together. Their communication is also really good, there is obviously the small instance where Tally hides certain things from him, but the moment that she realises that their relationship is going further than friends with benefits she opens up and I was presently surprised at how well Wilder handled the interaction.
Their family dynamic is shown so well yet again and I just adore the Miller Brothers. The drama that unfolded throughout this book truely had me hanging on for dear life as I knew it would be a happy ending but it still had be second guessing. I had suspicions on who the culprit would be when it came to Tally’s issues and I was correct which made me feel very good about my guessing skills.
This was a beautiful end to a really good series and I am so lucky to of been given this opportunity. Thank you to Tales & Teacups and Nikki Ashton!
If you are a cowboy romance lover who hasn't read the Silver Peaks series yet, you really must!
The Sapphire Ocean is the third book and follows the youngest Miller brother, Wilder and Tally Brown who works under middle brother, Gunner.
Wilder and Tally have a sort of friends with benefits situation going on which develops into something more. Wilder's past with his father has severely affected him so he thinks a romance just isn't for him. Tally is also hiding some secrets that, at the beginning, she doesn't think Wilder needs to know because they aren't that serious. Although she is confident and independent on the outside, her past relationship does however affect her confidence in herself when it comes to new relationships.
What I love about Nikki Ashton's books is that there is always an element of suspense. In this case, Tally having a stalker and being harassed and also someone from her past coming back into her life. The development and character growth for each of them is perfect, with Wilder realising that he can be loved and Tally being strong and learning to trust that Wilder is nothing like her ex.
I really love all the characters in this series, little Bertie is probably my favourite sassy little girl, and the found family aspect is beautiful to read.
This one might be my favourite of the series, though honestly, I love them all so much. There’s just something about this story that lingered a little longer. I loved seeing characters from previous books return and how everything blends together so seamlessly. It made the world feel lived in, familiar like slipping back into a place you already know. Wilder is very much the hiding-behind-the-bravado type all charm and distance on the surface, when underneath he has the sweetest, softest heart… and yes, very much not so soft where it matters 😉 I also loved that every chapter is named after a song. It added so much to the atmosphere and made the story feel even more immersive, like there was always a soundtrack playing in the background. And the banter? The perfect balance of laugh-out-loud moments and deep, emotional conversations light when it needs to be, heavy when it matters. As a reader, you know from the start that friends with benefits is never going to work but watching them try anyway, knowing exactly where it’s heading, is part of the magic. Set against wide skies and small-town familiarity, this story explores vulnerability, emotional risk, and the kind of love that was never meant to stay casual !
Wow, why was this my first time reading a book by Nikki?! I loved this and have gone back and downloaded the rest in the series! So glad these can be read as standalone but I need everyone’s story 👏🏼
Tally & Wilder : Chemistry off the scales 🥵 but I’m so glad this book wasn’t overall smutty because it has so much plot that you just wanted to get to finding out who was behind everything!
I loved all the side characters but let me tell you that little Bertie stole the show for me! I’m absolutely obsessed and when Wilder hears her screaming thinking she’s also been injured. Heart in my mouth. 👀
Wilder is such a smooth talker that more than half this book is Highclere for me on his quotes alone! But Tally is an independent queen and I’m here for it! When she tells Wilder where to go until he decides what he wants.. YES GIRL 👏🏼
The plot had so many branches! We had multi things going on and it all tied in great as you couldn’t guess who was behind things or where it was gonna end up!! And the soundtrack listed before each paragraph gave a glimpse of what to expect but… you could not expect 👀
I absolutely loved the last epilogue and found it so fitting that it ends with them meeting and the start of the chemistry!! Loved it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The Sapphire Ocean was an enjoyable read about learning to trust and face your past scars that you carry with you. I love how Tally and Wilder realised their true feelings for one another despite the struggles they faced. Although the romance was the main storyline, I really admired the emotional aspect of it too- that no one finds it easy to open up and love without some lingering fear and vulnerability.
I loved the relationship between Tally and Wilder, particularly his protective nature over her when she tells him about threatening messages she’s being sent. His feelings for her truly shone throughout this dilemma and I loved reading how they unravelled.
Combining heartfelt moments with humour and jokes (especially between the Miller brothers) gave the book a balance that was consistently engaging. Having characters that accept their flaws while finding themselves along with love made the book feel like a journey that stays with you after the end.
P.S. I do need a spin-off on Bertie’s future though because that little girl has character!
Tally and Wilder are just friends with benefits, but do they want more? What happens when things stop being simple and easy? Can they tame the rollercoaster of life?
I really liked this one! The title threw me off a bit, but once I knew it was a cowboy romance I was back in. It the finale of a three part series about a group of brothers. I did not read the first two and I was still able to enjoy this one. There are little spoilers, but I did not feel too lost.
The chemistry between Tally and Wilder was great. I love a f it moment. There was good spice-nothing too wild but also not too boring. I would have liked a little more. The way their relationship grew was nice to read. Protective mmc gets me every time.
The side characters added to the story. There was some action mixed in with the romance to keep the plot moving along. I will definitely be reading more from this author. Five stars ✨
I was so looking forward to this third, and final instalment of the Miller brothers series. I loved all three, but Wilder was the one I had the biggest soft spot for so I knew this would be special. I have officially decided all 3 brothers are my book boyfriends. I love seeing a hero realise they deserve love and are capable of it. I also love a strong female who doesn’t take their rubbish along the way! Wilder and Tally have their past histories to work through, but together they are FIRE! I love their banter, their sweet moments, their HOT moments. I just love them. I always enjoy getting updates on how the other characters are doing, and of course seeing Bertie and her hilarious attitude. I will really miss that smart mouth. I love how this author writes the steamy scenes, they are super spicy, without overpowering the emotion of the moment. They also don't feel too much against the rest of the story. I hadn't read anything by this author before I started the series, but I would read anything else she writes going forward! There's some dramalama towards the end of the book and it had my heart pounding. I had not been expecting that, but it was all written so well. I may have fallen a little for Liam and Cole (and in the little we saw if Nate) and would love for them to have stories so we could get some updates on the Miller's down the line too. You can't beat a cowboy romance though!
Thank you to Tales and Teacups for the gifted arc🐴 This book is the third book in the Silver Peaks trilogy and in this one we are following Wilder and Tally. I really enjoyed this book as it was fast paced and very easy to read and get engaged into as it had been built up from book one. I really loved Wilder and Tally’s story and i enjoyed seeing little bits of the previous characters. This book also had a good storyline with good plots and a mystery element which was interesting and kept me reading. Overall I give this a 3.25⭐️
The Sapphire Ocean by Nikki Ashton is available to read and buy on December 1st!!💙
TROPES: FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS WORKPLACE ROMANCE SMALL TOWN ROMANCE COWBOY ROMANCE
Friends with benefits never last as just friends and Wilder and Tally are both proof of that. I loved reading the moments each of them realise that they’re falling for each other and the way it all plays out.
The personal growth with both Tally and Wilder is interesting to read, they both have their shares of baggage and watching them go through the book finding what they want and actually going for it is so satisfying.
I loved the family aspect, Wilder with his brothers are just how any brothers act. Tally’s friendship with lily and Cassidy is what any girl dreams of having as a friend group.
I loved that all the chapters are different songs that relate to the chapter and the how the story works.
This is my first book I’ve read of Nikki’s and I am now going back to read the others as I soon realised that Wilder and Tally’s story is the third 😅 I love her writing style and the spice to drama ratio is perfect.
The Sapphire Ocean is book three in the Silver Peaks series, I absolutely loved books 1 & 2 and can't believe we're now at the end of this series, I'm really going to miss these Miller boys.
I loved Wilder & Tally's story, their instant connection & amazing chemistry was just brilliant. Wilder is the ultimate swoony cowboy, he is so caring, loving & always up for a good time & some banter while Tally is just gorgeous, she's arrived with some baggage & is vulnerable in manys ways but is strong & determined and it was so lovely to see her flourish.
As with previous books, the relationships & banter between the brothers was so good as was the found family, small town charm aspects and of course little Bertie once again stole the show by being her adorable hilarious self.
I really enjoyed this book. The story was about the 3rd of 3 brothers in the series.
I loved both Wilder and Tally. Their story was different to the others but still fit and the peripheral characters were still very much included. There was still some drama but it wasn't as big as the other books in ways, which seemed fitting.
It was easy to read and the story flowed well, the continuity from the other 2 books was very good.
I've really enjoyed reading this series and all the characters were loveable and relatable in their own ways. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and definitely recommend this cowboy romance series!
Thank you so much to @lovebookstours and @nikkiashtonauthor for sending me a physical copy of this book. What a book this was! This is the 3rd book in the silver peak series and wow! Just amazing! I have read the other two books in this series and have absolutely loved them, couldn’t put them down and this was no different. From the beautiful illustrations on each chapter page to the brilliant front cover to then the story, I just loved everything about it. Love Tally and Wilder and their relationship and couldn’t wait to find out what happened between them. Adored everything about this, easy 5 star for me🥰♥️
The third and final book of the Miller brothers and I aren't ready for it to be over!
This is Wilder's story. Wilder and Tally, and what a combination of a couple. I loved them together, I loved their journey and all the laughter that went with it. And those cowboys, wow! Nikki Ashton wrote cowboys long before all these authors jumping on the cowboy bandwagon and no one does it like her! If you want the best sort, fantastic story, and so much comedy and hot hot hot - download this one!
I've loved all of the Miller brothers but Wilder has always had that top spot, and he fulfilled all my hopes in this book.
This is book 3 in the Silver Peaks series, I’ve been lucky enough to have reviewed the first two books which were so good but it was a bittersweet moment starting this one as it the final book in the series. But what a way to go out! I loved it, in fact it may just have pipped the others to be my favourite. Now I really love a small town romance but Tally and Wilder brought it to a whole new level they tore me up then rebuilt me until I was a silly smiling wreck by the end of this book. If you enjoy a brilliantly written romance to fall in love with then read these 3 books you could read them as a standalone but you’d be missing out on a real treat. Definitely going back on my TBR pile as I’m not ready to say goodbye to the Miller family ❤️
"The Sapphire Ocean" is the third book in Nikki Ashton's Silver Peak series, and it is my first experience with her writing. I have become a fan after reading this book. I thoroughly enjoyed Telly and Wilder's story, which begins as a friends-with-benefits relationship. Telly works on the Miller family's farm, and both characters have complications from their pasts.
I appreciated their journey toward discovering true love and realizing that they were what each other needed. The emotional growth of both characters was well-developed throughout the book. Based on what I've seen, the other two books in the series are likely to be incredible as well, and I plan to read the entire series. Overall, I consider this a five-star read and absolutely loved "The Sapphire Ocean."
I’ll admit, I haven’t read the first two books in this series, but I am a total sucker for a cowboy. This book is absolutely stunning, with one of my favourite cowboy covers I’ve seen in a long time. I love cowboy romances that focus on big families living and working on a ranch, and this one did not disappoint.
Tally is a strong, confident female lead, and I loved her from the start. Wilder has a hidden depth that really surprised me—going from the funny, easygoing one to someone insecure and vulnerable made his character even more compelling. The friends-with-benefits-turns-into-something-more trope is a classic for a reason, and it worked perfectly here. I devoured this book in a single day and now I can’t wait to go back and read the rest of the series.
