When Edward Blake—a skilled carpenter fallen on hard times—accepts a footman position at the imposing Winterspring Manor, he expects nothing more than a roof over his head and honest work. What he finds instead is Lord Adrian Winterfang—an aristocrat of unearthly beauty whose silver hair and ice-blue eyes conceal secrets older than the ancient estate itself.
One unexpected encounter in the dead of night awakens desires Edward never knew existed. As winter storms isolate the manor from the outside world, he finds himself drawn deeper into Adrian's orbit, discovering that the young lord harbors a nature far beyond human—half-dragon, with powers that can freeze a man's heart...or ignite unexpected passion.
With each clandestine meeting—in the library's shadowed corners, the secluded bath chambers, beneath the watchful eyes of suspicious staff—Edward's world expands beyond imagination. The temperature between them fluctuates wildly as Adrian's control slips, revealing glimpses of his true form that should terrify Edward but only intensify their connection.
As visiting nobility threaten to expose their forbidden relationship, Edward must return to the comfortable certainties of his former life, or surrender completely to a supernatural bond that promises both extraordinary pleasure and the pain of loving someone who will outlive him by centuries.

Each chapter is just them interacting intimately, which the writing is fine but makes the whole thing boring. The guests simply exist with no real conflict/interaction of any sort. Just a few words passing between them. Lacks story though there is a hint of it that could have been fleshed out and made more interesting.
