The whole idea behind this story is very fascinating and I love how different the characters are. The first volume in this series sets up several conflicts and I cannot imagine where the story goes from here. This story definitely needs way more explanations, which will probably be given in the next volumes. As for now, I have no idea what is going on.
Besides that, I have trouble telling two characters apart - and again, I cannot remember their names, but one was the Blue King and I guess the other guy is someone who works for him. At first, I thought that guy had some kind of split personality, but only it was only in the end that I realized they are two different characters. They look pretty much like a copy-and-paste version of the other one.
My biggest problems with this Manga are the girl that is in love with the protagonist (how can someone be that annoying?!) and Neko. I don't know what the fuck that is supposed to be and why the heck she is even in this Manga (because she has absolutely no point in the story besides undressing).
However, I immediately fell in love with Kuro, so that makes up for the bullshit with the cat and that annoying girl. So Kuro and the idea of the story save this Manga for me and I give this a 3/5 rating just for Kuro. I will probably continue with this series, but I'm not sure yet. Maybe I should better watch the Anime - than I would definitely be able to tell character A from character B.

Die Story ist wirklich sehr interessant. Man fiebert richtig mit mehr Charaktere kennenzulernen und herauszufinden, wie sie zu einander stehen. Die Charaktere sind sehr individuell und man hat schnell Favoriten. Dieser erste Band gibt einen kleinen aber gut entwickelten Überblick über die Welt, die Könige, die ersten Charaktere (noch nicht alle)... Man merkt, dass diese Welt einiges an Erklärung benötigt, vor allem weil es etliche wichtige Charaktere zu geben scheint. Man bekommt hier schon einiges erklärt, aber es wird darauf geachtet, dass man nicht überladen wird. Daher ist es wirklich erst ein kleiner Einblick. Und das wurde dann trotzdem noch richtig gut in die Story verpackt, so dass man nicht das Gefühl hatte, er wird einem nur etwas erklärt. Im Gegenteil. Ich fand die Handlung schon richtig spannend und sehr unterhaltsam. Was ich ebenfalls sehr begrüße, ist das moderne Setting mit den übernatürlichen Königen. Eigentlich ist der Begriff dafür eher irreführend, aber ich möchte nicht spoilern. Es hat jedenfalls nichts altbackenes und das fand ich klasse.
Der Zeichenstil ist ebenfalls richtig gut.
Ich kann es kaum abwarten, dass der nächste Teil erscheint.
