King Benjamin was born Ronny Jackson Jr. on the east side of Detroit Michigan. Growing up his love for writing was at first channeled into writing rap songs and short poems. It wasn’t until his third incarceration that he decided to change his life for the better. Guided by a higher power he discovered his love for literature and also his calling. Darkness

I loved this story from beginning to end. I thought it was going to be much worst then it was but the title fits the story well all h@ll did break lose in Detroit. I fell bad for all the lives that where taking and ending almost made me cry. If you have not read this you need to. I hope there is a part 2 cause it's still dark!

This was a very good read. It gives you something to think about too. The way the world is going something like this could happen.

Detroit Devil’s Night

The city is in trouble. No police, firefighter, or power for 24 hours. Jerry and Monique are needing to protect themselves and their property the best way they can. What will it cost them.

This book put me in the mind frame of the purge but more of a let down. I feel like things happened with no point or purpose. The. The book ended with no answers. This is not a book I would recommend.

Omg!! This book was on point from the beginning to the end!!! I can't imagine what I will do if it was to be a blackout in my city. Then all of the hell broke loose in one day. Please say that it will be a part 2 because I can't be left like this!! Will the lights come back on soon or will the hell continue to break loose in the city??? You did a great job King Benjamin!!! Keep up the good work!!

Purge?

It immediately reminded me of the movie The Purge only they're in the hood. That made it not so original for me. There's not too much I can say because it's so short. Why? There was nothing that stood out and the characters weren't that strong. I won't miss any of them if they don't make it. Is it just getting started? I don't know if I'm curious enough for a part 2.

It was a great read. I thought it would've been more to it. It would've been better if it didn't concentrate on two groups of neighbors. other than that, good story. a little too short, but good.
