Derek Jeter will always be a true athlete in my eyes. A player I looked up to & admired as a kid (and still to this very day). I only have a fair share of baseball players l call “favorites” and I can definitely say I am proud to call him one of them.

This book takes a look into Derek’s final season with the New York Yankees as well as other memorable moments throughout his career as a baseball player and as a human being. If there was one thing I learned from reading this, it’s that there is a lot to admire about this man.

Thank you for making the sport of baseball what is was then and what it is today, Derek. #RE2PECT

One of the best baseball books I've ever read!

I couldn't put this book down for just an hour of reading every chapter about him. A Yankee Fan for only 3 years but my legend belongs to him. Fascinating but overall, a perfect book for any fan of baseball (even if you're not a Yankee Fan, you'll still find out about him as one of the greatest shortstops ever played)

I have read other books about him (one book was about his chapter of his behind-the-scenes and the other about the front pages from the newspaper) Out of all, I liked them! I really love this book! All about his career! A baseball learning strategy!

I want to truly recommend this book to everyone especially who is a Yankee Fan, a fan of baseball, and evenly, A BIG FAN OF HIS LEGEND! This one even beats Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and other great Yankee players.

You will do the same, like me!

The book of never seen photos of Derek Jeter and the twenty years he played to the N. Y. Yankees. He also gave credit to his family and his core of baseball players. His life after baseball; a "Turn 2 Foundation" and starting his own publishing company, under Simon and Schuster. A great book for baseball fans.

I hate the Yankees and as much as I wish I could hate Jeter, I can't help but love him. He is a reminder of why I love baseball. The guy has created so many great (and painful) memories for me and this book takes me back to those moments. Re2pect! Even if you cost my beloved Braves 2 World Series.

There is a lot to like and admire about Derek Jeter. This book is mainly a photo book about the highlights of his career and especially about his 20th and final season, all 20 years spent with the New York Yankees.

Jeter Unfiltered is an autobiography that is written by Derek Jeter. The Book talks about the key points of Derek Jeter's Career along with of the many ups and downs he experienced in the MLB.

This Autobiography is about Derek Jeter and his life during the time he was in the MLB. He starts this Book by talking about his last season in the MLB and memories he created at both stadiums along with thanking the many people who helped along this journey. After this he talks about his pregame routine. Next he talks about his first season in the MLB and then goes on to touch upon the big things from each season. Derek won many awards along with winning many World Series Titles. The only way to learn the whole journey is to read it yourself.

This book was great and Derek Jeter did a good job creating a book that would interest the audience. I really enjoyed getting to see Major League Baseball through the eyes of one of the best to ever play. This book is a book that everyone can read because it is not just entertaining but if you are a baseball fan it is really something to read. The element I loved in this book was the author balanced the ratio of pictures to text very well. You were able to envision what you were reading but then the pictures could actually let you visualize the real life scenario you were reading. Some pictures were black and white and some were colored which helped you figure out the mood and tone he wanted to reach the audience with. The author's writing style was also straightforward and easy to understand which is a benefit for the early reader.

In conclusion, the book Jeter Unfiltered by Derek Jeter is a great book for anyone to read at all ages. After reading this book you will see the difference between what society thinks about MLB and what MLB as a job really is.

Derek Jeter’s autobiography, titled Jeter Unfiltered, goes through his entire baseball career, showing his experiences and friends that he made on the way. In this 255-page book, Jeter goes through many different feelings and emotions that hurt and help his path as a baseball player.

At first, he talks about his first spring training that he went through and how he felt. He was very anxious at the beginning but in the end, he was able to get comfortable and bond with all of his teammates. Something that the reader can realize is that his family was very important to him. No matter what was going on he would always put family first. When Jeter ever failed he always had people around him that were going to pick him up whether that was his family or friends. If it wasn’t for his family it would not be who he was today.

Overall I really enjoyed reading this book since I have been a Yankees fan for my whole life, reading this book really hits home for me. There was a good mix between pictures and text throughout the whole book. In the book, there were some pictures in color and others in black and white. Even though these colors don’t depict anything in the story it does help show change after every page just how Jeter's life was changing after every day. As a reader, Jeter was very straightforward when he was writing this, not using much figurative language which is fine since it's an autobiography.

This book is an amazing passage to read for Yankees fans and even sports fans in general. There are life lessons that teenagers and adults can use and relate to. I would definitely advise taking your time and reading this wonderful book about Jeter's baseball career.

Derek Jeter’s autobiography “Jeter Unfiltered” explores the journey that he went through in his career with the New York Yankees.
Throughout the book Derek Jeter reflects on moments in his baseball career. In the beginning of the book he talks about his first spring training, accounting his final season and his fans that support him. Derek also talks about himself and how he got to being a Yankee. In the middle of the book Jeter talks about the seasons that he played and the ups and downs of them. He won the world series three years in a row but also lost one. In the end of the book, Derek talks about his last season. He talks about leaving the sport and his final game.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was easy to read and it had a lot of pictures from Derek Jeter’s career. I liked how the book gave me insight on Jeter's life and career. I never really liked baseball but this book made it very interesting. Overall I felt like this book was very good.
One literary device that I liked in the book was the use of pictures. It made me feel like I was at the stadium and there in Derek Jeter’s Journey.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. It is very interesting and I think it would be a great read to anyone that likes baseball.

Chances are you received this coffee table style picture book as a gift because you are a New York Yankee fan, or a Derek Jeter fan, or both, or sitting in your doctor’s office waiting room you had to look at something for entertainment.

Jeter does provides interesting, matter of fact narration to his last season, 2014, as a ballplayer. Remembering his whole “you cannot make this up” career at times and giving a few thoughts on the state of baseball, such as, how rare it will be that someone stays on the same team for their whole career like he did, along with the core of his Yankee teams, Posada, Rivera, and Williams. A fun book for a quick look at Derek.

I noticed the book is produced by “Jeter Publishing”. He’s learned like musicians, to make the most money off of yourself, you have to own the product.

This book was a book about Derek Jeter, there were lots of great pictures in the book that captured moments in the story very well. The book was told in the prespective of Derek and went through his life and what he values and lessons he learned on and off the feild.

This was a really good book and I liked it alot. Derek Jeter is my favorite baseball player and any book that is written about it, I usually read. I liked the pictures in the book. I also liked hearing about his final season and what is was like for him and how different it was then other years in the past.

It is really more a photo "coffee-table" type of book, than actual literature, but being a lifelong Yankees fan and a fan of Jeter as well, I did enjoy paging through it. I wish there were a little more narrative from Jeter himself, but the pictures are great. My brother gifted me this book and as a fan, it is nice to have as a keepsake.

Would I give this anything less than five stars? My baseball husband, and all time favorite athlete, Derek Jeter. These photos are beautiful, he was looking stellar in 2014. I am so glad I took the time to read the captions and really look at the photos of #2.

Who doesn't love Jeter telling snippets of memories from his years as captain of the New York Yankees. The extra thrill comes from award-winning photographs chronicling his story. Fabulous.
