Okay....so for real for real. When I read this and reread this and then one mo gain, I read this. I was Out loud asking Joan Vassar to get up out my fantasy life business and to stop putting my "If Gawd really exist She would send me a Jacks and Monty" bid'nezz out in dez streets...lmao. Okay yes for the historical accuracy, Yes for the excellence of the written word. But Yazzzzz if this is your kink!

I enjoyed this book just like I enjoyed the first. The Bittersweet series is written beautifully.
Lamont, Jack, and Vicki's relationship developed and blossomed into a beautiful life of family and love.

A sequel to Sweet Honesty. I enjoyed reading this book because it gave me the point of view of a character in the first book. I'm a gay white senior citizen, and really enjoyed this book. I ordered the 3rd in the series called Sweetest Taboo and look forward to reading it.

This was beautiful.🥹
I loved how intimate everything felt, literally from beginning to end. It was beyond the romance, the emotions, tension, the way the three moved and acted around each other. Idk how to explain it but it’s like there uncomfortableness was even romantic, it’s made them feel more real and layered. Everything felt intentional and the dynamic between the three was what made this story unique. You can feel the slow progression of closeness within the awkward moments and the hesitation, to me nothing felt rushed.
Now this wasn’t a long story, the pacing was well executed. This also wasn’t plot heavy either. Highly enjoyable, lovable characters, great writing, wrapped up in emotions.
