Freyja, is happily awaiting the universe to align…..then unexpectedly gets into a ‘situation’
This book is so action packed, full of twists and turns that will have you thinking ‘what next’ AND it has the Silver Shadows in it 😜😜😜
And now I totally understand ‘Lucille’ 🤣🤣🤣

Such a brilliant read. I absolutely loved Duncan and Freyja’s story ❤️❤️❤️ thank god for Lucille lol 😂 she never steers Freyja wrong. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

Amazing Start to a new series and Ann did not disappoint!!
You have Duncan who is Second in the Irish Mob. His life has always revolved around the mob and he didn't see himself having a women and children were a weakness for a man like him. He had come to terms with this until a beautiful woman fell at his feet but it was more then one encounter and he couldnt deny there was just something about her. He thought she was the woman of his dreams until she pulled the rug from under him.
You have Freyja (she is part of the Son's of Hell series by Rebecca Joyce Scribe's sister) Freyja is special just like her sisters. Lucille has told her what the universe has in store for her and where she will find her chosen man. An chance encounter when she fell at Duncan's feet and she was hooked. She had never had an instant connection with a man like that before. She thought she would never see him again until she pretty much fell at his feet for a second time. She is confused and doesn't know what to do because she is weeks away from meeting the one thats for her at Mardi Gras. She has to let Ducan down because there is another man or is there? Lucille steers Freyja where she needs to go and she follows what she is told.
Can Duncan some how get Freyja to become his women or will the powers that be keep the two apart. Can he come to understand the woman Freyja is and just how special she really is or is everything going to go up in smoke? With enemies around the corner Duncan is trying to make sure the people he loves the most stay out of harms way and will do what it takes for that to happen. Can Freyja handle being in the Mob life and everything that is Ducan?

I adore the Malpas sisters, I didn’t imagine Freyja with an Irish Mafia boss but then I never thought Phoebe and Priest were together till they were and it was perfection.
So Freyja has been told by Lucille Ball ( yep the late great) that her soul mate will be at Mardi Gras but not until after dimiter/Scribe is married which nobody thought would happen until Henley.
Duncan is in NY looking for someone who crossed his boss Sal when he bumps in to Freyja, literally knocks her off her feet, both of them think about the stranger they met briefly until it happens again. Just as things start going somewhere Freyja breaks it off feeling she is betraying her universally chosen man.
A lot happens tying in the sons of Hell MC ( Scribe is a brother) , the Silver Shadows MC ( Sal is Declan’s brother and King’s recently discovered dad and Blade is their recently discovered nephew), Maxim/ the bloodletter ( that’s a twist that gets explained) and a brief cameo from soulless sinners MC

For Duncan, being in the Boston Irish Mob is his life and family, he has never wanted a wife and children, so is shaken when he keeps bumping into a nameless beauty that he just cannot get out of his mind.
I loved Duncan and Freyja’s age gap, fated romance. What a brilliant start to this new series, plenty of twists, family drama, betrayals, secrets, traitors and shocking revelations. Lots of new interesting characters and some old favourites from the Silver Shadows MC from Diamond Creek and family from Sons of Hell MC.

Duncan is book 1 in the Irish Mob Of Boston series and it's a fantastic beginning for this new series. Duncan is quite a different journey in comparison to the other stories I've read by this author. It's a great, age gap Mob read that's also incorporated a bit of the supernatural. I completely enjoyed all of the twists, turns and surprises she had in store for her readers with Duncan and Freyja's journey. I specifically enjoyed seeing some of my favorites from the Diamond Creek Silver Shadows MC and the Sons Of Hell. I can't wait to see what she brings us next!

This was a great start to a new series!
I just adore Duncan. Being second in command isn't easy but he does it well. Managing everything while also trying to solve things from his past!
I've always loved Freya's character! It was nice finally getting to learn more about her and Lucille. Freya is definitely a free spirit and does things her own way.
It was nice getting to see some people from Rebecca's books and learning how they all intertwine into Ann's books. The way it was done is wonderful and I can't wait to see what comes next!

A brilliant start to a new series by Ann Silver
Duncan is 2nd in command to the Irish mob, it is his life and all he thinks he needs.
Freyja is the oldest sibling who’s had to wait for the stars to align.
After literally running in to each other several times and not been able to stop thinking about the other surly fate has decided.
This book has twists and turns, secrets, betrayal and some skeletons in the closet.
I would recommend reading Ann’s other books before this so you get some background.

4.25⭐️ Duncan is the first book in a new Mafia series that features many characters from across several different series by two authors. Is it confusing? YES Is it addicting? Also, YES! These characters are entwined with so many lives that it is hard to keep track. Even though this is the first book, you really need to read Ann’s MC series and also Rebecca Joyce’s Mafia/MC series. There are many of the same players featured throughout this book. You definitely need a roadmap to figure out what is going on but I still love reading these stories.

Fantastic start to a new series. I love Duncan and Freyja! When Duncan and Freyja literally run into each other, fates align. But first, they have to fight through misunderstandings, and find a traitor. With appearances from Silver Shadows and the gang from Diamond Creek, and mention of the Soulless Sinners, you just know secrets and skeletons are going to come flying out of closets! But, Duncan and Freyja are destined to be together. After all, Lucille is never wrong!

What an amazing start to the Irish Mob of Boston series. Duncan's life has revolved around the mob and his family. He wasn't looking for love, but it found him in the form of a beautiful woman. A woman a bit different than he is used to. Their chance meeting left both he and Freya affected. It is a brilliant love story that has a touch of paranormal theme to it. Which I loved, and I cannot wait to see what is to come for the series.

Duncan is an amazing book to read as Ann Silver has done another fantastic job. How Freyja and Duncan are brought together with twists and turns and some help from Lucille! I absolutely love Lucille in this story as well as a visit from Demeter aka Scribe from the Sons of Hell by Rebecca Joyce . This is definitely a story to read. I received an ARC for an honest review as well as bought the book to support this amazing author! Can’t wait to read the next in the series.

WoW, what a start to an awsome new seeries by Ann Silver. We get to visit with some old favourites both from Rebecca Joyce's Son's of Hell series as well as the Silver Shadows and are introduced to some new people.
Duncan and Freyja are great together. He is older and stuck in his ways while she is a free spirit.
Loved this story and can't wait to get into more Irish Mob stories with this author.

Fantastic
This was another Fantastic book ,of hers. Love this author Can't wait for the second book, in the series. It was entertaining, Lucille Ball, Wonderful Characters, men from other MC clubs are in here, looking for her soulmate at Maris Gras, but we see him a few other times before then,kidnapped, unpredictable, think you know it but you don't, twists and turns, and so much more.

This is the first book in the Irish Mob Series, and I loved it.
You first meet Freyja in Rebecca Joyce's book, and I'm glad she trusted Ann Silver with her because she did her good.
There's so much to unpack, and so much going on that there is never a dull moment.
You see characters from past books and Rebecca Joyce's series(if you haven't read Rebecca Joyce, that is a must)
I love Freyja nd Duncan together and i love that he loves her despite Lucille.
there are hilarious moments as well as the series and heart thumping.
Your left wanting more and I genuinely can't wait to read the rest of the series

oh Lucille! It is funny with the sisters. I can't honestly wait until Athena's book. Freyja literally falls for Duncan more than once. after some misunderstandings and a well deserved punishment they seem to have their relationships hip headed in the right direction.

Not normally a fan of Mafia/Mob stories but I loved Duncan and Freyja's story, didn't want to put down once I picked up. It also took me a minute to figure out who she was. Lucille Ball popped up several times. Can not wait for the next story in this series. Really good

Duncan didnt do love after losing his sister and brother, hes on the path for revenge when he comes across Freyja. She knows love won't co even easy for her, but giving just one night to Duncan was never going to be enough. Well written engaging steamy, action, drama and more!
