A wild ride through time, love, and the magic of a fairy godmother—because who said fairy tales can’t be a little crazy? Riley Butler has it all—or so she thinks. When a near-fatal car crash forces her to wish for a second chance, she gets more than she bargained for. One minute she’s in the fast lane of modern life, and the next, she’s in 1845 Texas—wearing a chic business suit and sexy heels that are definitely out of place. To top it off, she’s greeted by wooden buildings, saddled horses, and a stranger who’s about to turn her world upside down.
Enter Eve, the world’s most magical (and slightly pushy) fairy godmother, who kicks Riley into a whole new life as a mail-order bride.
John, her soon-to-be husband, is far from the dashing cowboy she imagined—unshaven, unkempt, and seemingly unimpressive. But as she gets to know him, she discovers a tenderness in his soul that sparks something inside her.
Will Riley find love in the wild west... or will she wish for a return to the future?

A little Bibbety, a touch of Bobbity… but the Boop? Well, that’s where things get off track.
These whimsical and heartwarming romances have slight magical elements but no spells, incantations or other dark magic. This story focuses on destined soulmates with a light-hearted twist and as always - a Happily Ever After!
Ginny Sterling writes sweet, clean, closed-door romance with small-town charm and heartfelt emotion. From cozy communities to closed-door hockey romance, her stories feature cinnamon roll heroes, meaningful connections, and uplifting happily-ever-afters—perfect for readers who love wholesome, feel-good love stories.
Nothing exceptional, lots of thoughts going on. I would have preferred that they spoke together more than thoughts but that's just my own preference. Not for someone who likes a lot of excitement but just a sweet romance.
Interesting premise. I think I liked the hero's point of view more than the heroine's. There wasn't as much culture clash as I enjoy in my time travel stories, but I'm willing to give the next book in the series a go.
Even if you don’t read this genre of book, don’t hesitate to get this book. Ginny Sterling is one of my favorite authors. My favorite series of hers is Healing Hearts. While is a totally different book, expect the usual banter and swoon that you will find in every book of Ginny‘s. Riley and John will capture your heart and leave you with a great HEA.
You all know if Ginny writes it I will read it and when she told us she wrote this awhile back and what it was about I was in shock. This is so different from The Flyboys and Hockey Series I've been reading so much of lately. But let me tell you this was so much fun to read. I loved getting to know these characters.
Riley is from our time period and after an accident she finds herself in 1845 Texas!! Could you even imagine waking up with a fairy godmother in 1845?! I know I couldn't. She ends up meeting the grumpiest man named John. He thinks Riley is a mail order bride and oh boy does that make for one interesting story.
This story will have you laughing, swooning, smiling and getting a wonderful happily ever after ending. This is a quick read that will take you away to a different time and make you step back to when times were simple. I highly recommend this book.
That was a fun and sweet story. Thank you for publishing it. It would be fascinating to step back in time but definitely a hard choice with all the conveniences we have. But a soulmate makes all the difference! Love wins every time!!
Loved this one! A fun whimsical time travel romance with a quirky ‘Relocation Specialist’. Loved Riley & John and how their love story played out. I loved that Riley truly found out what mattered.
