WHAT IN THE CLIFFHANGERRRRRRRRRRRRR!
ok lemme relax lol. But seriously, I was so engaged throughout this and the ending had me like noooooooooooo cuz what do you mean it ending right there ??
This was such an interesting take on our folklore stories about Papa Bois and other creatures we heard about growing up. I loved everything the author did here. I was hooked from start to end (damn that cliffhanger i need to know what happens ! lol)
The storytelling style was quite intriguing but never deterred from wanting to know what happens next with the Bois in this story, Rebelle, and those she meets along the way. I don't want to spoil anything because you need to immerse yourself in this delightful tale
Now I'm gonna need the next book cuz did I mention there's a whole cliffhanger?????? Rebelle giiirl you in dangerrrrr

I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to read a book with our own local folklore in it. What an interesting and fascinating twist to our beloved folklore beings!!!
And the ending??? Man, It’s been a while since I’ve been this shook at a cliffhanger
Great book, I await the 2nd book patiently
Only gripe, I really didn’t enjoy the cheating but I understand why it happened
