Ann was born in a small town in Indiana. She was the only girl in a family of three boys which gave her a pretty good understanding of the workings of the male mind, both the good, the bad, and well... all the in-between. Understanding how men think is helpful in writing romances.
As a former English teacher she has always had a special affinity for the written word. "I have to admit. I love to paint a picture or evoke an emotion with words."
She is the mother of two and currently lives in Florida. When not writing she enjoys an exciting career as a professional dog trainer.

Wonderful story with a plot that takes the reader into the realities of life in Afghanistan under the Taliban, to a tropical island loaded with love and intrigue. Sexy hero Zach is a delicious combination of tough and tender. Heroine Arianna is a great character that won't take no for an answer. A great storyline that keeps the reader wanting more.

The author hit all the marks for a great romance read...The intrigue, the cat and mouse game with the characters and the "steamy scenes" ... Perfect!

Ann Heathman grounds Deny Tomorrow’s sexy love story by placing it in the grim context of war-torn Afghanistan. The frame of the novel, a nail-biter, where hair-covered special ops Zach meets burqa-covered photojournalist Arianna, lends veritas to its central story. The fact that neither of the future lovers can see the other’s face presages the journey ahead, as they struggle to know and tame each other.
Drugged and whisked away to a tropical island and, later, a secluded estate, Arianna’s task is to know her recent past. What happened to her under the Taliban, and how did she get here? Most important, who abducted her and why?
Back on home turf and free of his face foliage, Zach has no time to celebrate a lucrative job well-done for the CIA. Most of all, he must ensure the ongoing safety of the woman whose life he saved. She now holds an unparalleled claim on him. He stages a second clandestine snatch and stashes her away inside the gates of his paradise. Now he has her on her hands full time. How will he keep the snooping tartar from blowing his cover, let alone ruining his private life? For sure she’s not going to let him hold the reins to this runaway disaster.
Constant conflict between the strong-willed combatants creates suspense and frustration for all the players, especially when Zach and Arianna are the only ones who fail to see what’s meant to be. They’re falling for each other, but can they admit it without endangering everything they care about?
Other than the interesting, hair-raising storyline, I love the leisurely world-building in this novel, the appealing and true-to-life lovers, and the author’s beautiful voice and smooth story-telling. Okay, I love everything about this book. I read it in two settings and then dived back in. This is beautiful, loin-tingling romance, with nothing fluffy about it.

Zach Acevedo is white hot & drop dead gorgeous. He and his friends are also CIA ,so deep undercover his house staff doesnt even know what he does for a living. His latest mission lands him in Taliban held territory and in huge trouble. His trouble has a name: Arianna a journalist of all things.

Hot, and explosive and deadly DENY TOMORROW is a fast paced, page turning novel that kept me coming back for more! I cant wait till the next in the series comes out!

i received this book from goodreads in exchange for a review
